Yes, I agree with that. Winning against GGG won't put Canelo on fame as the big thing is by defeating Dmitry Bivol. If Canelo will win here, I think it's just a recognition that he will receive but the hype isn't that high because GGG is already on his retirement age and this trilogy might be his last fight. Regardless, Canelo has to win no matter what. If GGG wins instead, I doubt Canelo will have a chance to face Bivol in a rematch. Aside from that, Canelo might not get big fights and needs to go back from the below rankings before having a shot again to fight in a title match. Nobody have thought that Dmitry Bivol will be the 2nd boxer who will put a stain in Canelo's record, Bivol has the reach advantage but Canelo has the IQ in the ring as he is more experienced but the defending champion, Bivol has done a good job in frustrating Canelo. What a win by the Meralco Bolts, they dominated the 4th quarter to beat the Phoenix Super LPG. However, what made me smile in that game is Reynel Hugnatan who won the Best Player of the game. Oh my, he is already 43 years old and still contributing big time to the team, there's a big reason why Meralco still keeps him, congratulations for the big win.

The series is going to Boston now for next two games, that means Celtics have their home court advantage but they need to be very careful because they don't have any chance to make mistakes. They need to win both games to keep home court advantage. Now it's Tatum's turn, he can't play bad third game in a row. He needs to have some responsibility. Expecting a good defense from Celtics again.
Yeah, just 8 hours left and we will see game time again. I am excited.  I think the wall that is keeping Tatum from greatness is just experience. He needs more of it and I am glad they took Horford back because that guy has a lot of experience and could share it with him. Then, confidence. He lacks it. Whenever Wiggins is in front of him, he soon finds a way to pass it to his teammates. He should try breaking Wiggins or put him in foul trouble if he can. Despite of lacking out with that experience but still for Tatum overall performance or gameplay then its still really that impressive but sooner or later he would really be realizing on how to break those walls. Tending to be that scared whenever he's been guarded too tough which there are times that he could handle it out but most of the time he would really be hesitate or in doubt on driving on the basket. These are only small and inevitable kind of flaws yet each player would really be passing into these kind of situation but sooner or later time will come that he would really be able to overcome it. Right, Tatum is really turning out to be the new star in the NBA with this kind of performance. It's the biggest and so far he is far from choking and has improved as far as passing to his open team mates. I don't know, but I'm not sure how confident the Warriors are entering Game 4. The pressure is on their side now and they have to find a way to motivate themselves and not let the Celtics take a huge lead because it's going to be hard to overcome it in 3rd or 4th (although they are capable). In-fact, he is following Jaylen Brown and Stephen Curry in the list to have the Finals MVP Award this season. I seriously think that he could improve more and imitating Kobe Bryant will really make him far in this league, and maybe in the upcoming games he can be the 1st in the list to get that award if he will be consistent in producing big numbers. The Boston Celtics is now leading the series and it looks like they will have another possession next game if the Warriors will continue the gameplay they did earlier, they rest of the roster should step up their game even further while Stephen Curry is there and Klay Thompson is back. |

I'm excited to see what would happen next game. Yes, there's no assurance that a team can outperform their opponents. We don't know how good both teams will come out from the locker and surprise their fans. Both are capable of winning a road game. We all witness that and we can't tell that anyone can fully dominate the game. More on your own decisions in picking your side. Picking up your team is more on how you trust them and how you believe that they will give you the win that you desire. I get that but as of now, it seems to me that the Warriors are having a hard time winning at road and the Celtics are the one who are more proven to win at road even at home. I'm glad that I took the favorites handicap last minute before the game started because it was already somehow clear that they will win even if it was just a 1st quarter round. But if later you can get a win, you should immediately stop and leave the casino so that greed doesn't come over and you can enjoy the winning money. Warriors equalized the series as I expected and I was very confident about it. Warriors are a really predictable team in some specific games. For example, they started this series really badly but I knew that they were going to atone for it right away in the second game. They did this by a huge performance too and Celtics were helpless against them in the first three quarters. They were able to decrease the gap by only four points in the last quarter and had no choice other than submitting to them at the end.
It looks like they are still gonna defend that title favorite for this year's NBA title. The thing is, will they beat them on the Celtics homecourt? During the regular season they got a 28/13 during their home games and 5/4 this playoffs. That's still 50%+ advantage for them this playoffs to win on their homecourt while 3/4 win for GSW on the road. That should be noted I guess. Forget about the past events, this is the finals and it's very unpredictable. We can based on the game 1 outcome, we thought that the Warriors will not lose game 1 because they have not lose a home court game in the playoffs so far, but the Celtics surprise them in the 4th quarter and have dominated them clearly. now, Warriors are on the road, we know they are a good team so they have a chance to steal one game on the road, not sure which game it is. Game 3 is very important for both teams, especially the Celtics because it's their home court and they need to protect it by winning the first game. Curry are good in times that he needed to win, and this game is necessary for the Warriors so they will not be pressured in the succeeding games. It's hard to decide actually, but I would stick with the underdog here which is the Warriors. Actually warriors is totally fine even on game one they show dominance but over relax that is why they lose for that mistake they do. And the game two indicates that they will not commit the same mistake and prove already that they can work together and win their games.game 3 is really important for both of them because if 1 of them win they are stepping closer to reach their target and that is to win on finals. The Warriors should return the favor and steal 1 game in the road because the Celtics have also snatched the 1st game, surely they didn't expected that but at least now they have bounced back and I bet they don't want to commit that very same mistakes they got. Steve Kerr is now rotating the players, even the bench players are getting some minutes to contribute so that their main line-up can rest even for a bit. |

Pretty much disappointed on the performance of Kambosos here. He was really schooled by Haney's super jab and defense as he was not hit clean in this fight. You can see his face still clean after 12 rounds while George face is somewhat battered by that stiff jab the Haney throws all throughout the fight. I guess Kambosos 15 minute of fame is over now. The belt is going back to the US and for sure American fighters are now going to chase Haney.

Yeah, we were expecting that Kambosos with his aggressiveness will give Haney trouble, but it didn't happen, it was a one-sided fight and I think there's no need for a rematch on this fight as it's very obvious that we will still see the same winner in the rematch. Yes, but it seems that George Kambosos is going to execute the rematch clause and wanted to get his revenge and so most likely in the next 6 months or early next year we might see the rematch, he specifically says that it's on Australia again. But who knows maybe it's better for George not to fight in front of his fans and should go to US just like what he did when he upset Teofimo Lopez. That's if Devin Haney will agree to give him a rematch, for sure Haney knows that it would be a total waste of time giving Kambosos his rematch because as you guys said, the score says it all. And if let's say that Haney will agree, I doubt he will agree to have the fight in Australia again. It would be held in Las Vegas where he lives, he is now the undisputed champion and Kambosos ain't got a voice now. He don't have a choice, Kambosos confirmed that there is a rematch clause and Haney sign that contract. So if there is one person that will have to agree, that is Haney, otherwise Kambosos will go to arbitration similar to what Wilder and Fury went. I think everyone is riding with the Warriors again, but I also believe that some people might be tempted to put an ML bet on the Boston Celtics because they beat the Warriors in game 1 and it's possible that they could do it again.
That's what I thought too until ESPN said Boston Celtics has the higher chance of winning the Finals this year against the Warriors. People became skeptical about it at first until the result of the game 1. Some people will now turn to root for the Celtics after game 1, but for me the Warriors still has a higher chances to win the title, though I've loved to see Tatum and Brown and especially for Horford to win their first ring. But who knows, If the Celtics win again in game 2, then that would be very difficult situation for the Warriors and the Celtics will most likely to win the title this year. Game 2 is very crucial for the Warriors, they can't afford to allow the Celtics to dominate them again, because even with just one quarter, anything can change and it will favor the Celtics. 2nd game of defending their home court, I'm expecting a blowout win here. I definitely don’t think the fourth quarter heroics we saw from Boston will be the norm. I would agree that the Warriors are going to come out and slap them around tonight, but if they did lose here they’d be facing a few games in Boston while being behind in the series. That would be cause for concern. I’m sticking with the warriors for tonight. I think they’ll get their vengeance for last game. As expected they won in the Game 2 and even dominated the Celtics until the 4th quarter. The Warriors have learned from their mistakes and that is they were too comfortable because the Celtics are always behind them in-terms of score but this time, in the 2nd game, they put pressure on Smart and Horford because they don't want those mistakes they committed to happen again. |

I think he deserve that after what he has shown in the last conference, he almost broke the record of Benjie Paras of being the only player to have awarded the ROY and MVP in the same season. Watching the game right now and bet on the under 176.5 and it looks like i'm going to win this one because it is a very low scoring one. No Mikey Williams, no problem for the TNT, they manage to beat the Magnolia hotshots and I'm happy to be able to put my bet on them after the first half. I got 1.95 odds for ML, not 2.00 but that's alright because the start of my PBA betting this season is a success. |

I think and hope the dubs bounce back but reading so often here that the Warriors "dominted the first 3 quarters" or something like that is so wrong. Celtics actually won the first half . That will be the game plan for game 2 as well, keep the score close and try to play superior defence in the final quarter. Because you cant deny the Warriors for 48 minutes but for 12, as we can see, is more than possible. I hope Warriors will get a big win but everything is possible, even losing big. Go Warrios, dubs in 6 !  Game 2 win is possible, they will have a big bounce back and I believe they will start strong to now allow the Celtics to have their own run. the series is just getting interesting, one win by the Warriors and people will not doubt them anymore. But this time, George didn't adapt and just used one strategy, that is try to overwhelm Haney which is very obvious in the first 3 rounds that it is going to work and his corner didn't give him good advise. Kambasos is a heavy hitter, however, he is not fast enough to hit Haney, and with Haney's perfect jab, it hurt Kambasos and lost his confidence to get inside and be more aggressive. I think he already knows that he will lose the fight, it's just bad for him because he didn't make the right adjustment so the fight ended up a one sided fight. |
