2381  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you limit your gambling time? on: May 06, 2021, 02:37:25 PM
Good thing that I don't have a lot of money and my Internet isn't that good so I can prevent myself from doing online gambling because I know what happens next.
But I am not seeing those external stops are good thing in long run. Because, at any time in future you will get a superfast internet connection and your small valued crypto may turn tomorrow somehow big enough to support you to gamble all day. I mean self control is something you must develop on your own.

Otherwise, we may get into gambling with no limits which will again ruin all your plans and saving. Now itself plan for short gambling which is only thing able to be sustaining with you forever.
2382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: May 05, 2021, 08:24:00 PM
Week 35 will certainly be a very decisive week for the three teams who are at the top, if you look at the existing squad, of course, Madrid will easily be able to beat Sevilla and even head to head Real Madrid win more often when dealing with Sevilla, but even so anything can happen in football, whereas right now in my opinion Barca is under more pressure because the match with Atletico is so important because they have to win it if they want to overtake their rivals, results other than victory will make it very difficult for them to step in and of course Barca's win will directly benefit for madrid with real madrid records must be able to beat sevilla.
So, in my analysis, the Madrid duo are more likely to be champions than Barcelona
I know very little games left for the season but I still think we are not at that "one game decides all" point just yet. We have seen so many times that one game could change so much, yet then everything changed back. Look at Real Madrdi versus Barcelona game, when Real won I and many other people said that they had a huge chance to win the league that way, then what happened? Now they are tied with points so it wasn't as important.

I think we are getting to those weeks, but this week is not that week, I believe we could potentially have a situation where one of the top three could lose, but then recover and win rest of the games while the other two still loses points after this week. Not saying that is how it will happen, all I am saying is that there is a chance that could happen and this week will not be the decisive one just yet.
2383  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let us all together develop a Price Action Trading System for Bitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 08:04:00 PM
I hope the basic principle is clear, and maybe you guys have the final spice to add, so this can become the best community created trading strategy ever. From what I have seen in the past, this does not only work for BtcUsd but also for most other things (even forex and some stocks, but stocks work differently so that is okay).
I honestly do not believe that bunch of strangers online could get together and agree on something. The main feeling of internet is that many people get together and even if we get together as 100 people, there will be at least one that will go against what everyone else says even if only to get more attention and few of those 99 people will try to persuade why they are right and that one person is wrong but 90+ of those people will just ignore and that is when the troll will get a lot more dangerous and start talking about how he is right.

This is why we should not try to get together and build something, instead anyone who wants to should go ahead and build something and share it with the world and ask what is wrong with it, if there is anything wrong with it then they will just fix that which would be a better way to do it if you ask me.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most awful Shitcoin on: May 05, 2021, 07:48:05 PM
This coin has caused many people to lose money and it is still bold in my mind when people in the scam system say it was created by the genius female mathematician.
This scam project has been around for years without crashing even though it has been condemned since its inception.
Sadly for those who believe in Onecoin and dream of wealth.
This is the correct answer. We are talking about people losing billions of dollars to just one person. I can't know if that woman ended up with every single dollar of that scam, maybe she took just a part of it or maybe she took it all, what % of the money stolen was in her account I have no idea but that is not important neither. The reality is that she created a "project" that collected so much money and then took some of that and left and everyone was left scammed.

There was even discussions about her being tied to Russian mob as well because she must have been protected like hell if she could take that much money and run away, you can't do that as a regular person, you have to do that as a person who is connected with someone, a politician or a mob or something that has to help you. This was a shitcoin beyond all shitcoins and really destroyed many people.
2385  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies? on: May 05, 2021, 06:59:54 PM
everyone has their own strategy, some are really happy with the scalping method using a 5M -15M Time Frame and there are some people who have slow trading strategies or with a more relaxed tempo, above the 15M Time Frame.

I actually don't always use scalping methods, but only under certain conditions. All the strategies I use, the most important thing is to generate profits in every transaction.
I believe only over the course of experience traders will be able to make use of all kind of strategies because I tried to have multiple strategies in the beginning days of trading but none of them were profitable for me and then I switched over to only long term holding and I never tried scalping in my life. I am just afraid of all short term trading strategies.

I am honestly comfortable with my long term holding not just with bitcoin but these days I'm making good profits along with my dogecoin holding as well Wink.
2386  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: May 05, 2021, 06:31:36 PM
You should have at least an idea of what you need to do or to react if you experience such situations. A backup plan could be the one that can save your primary plan if it failed but it doesn't necessarily mean you need one on every trade, there is someone who can do something on the spot. But it is always better to be ready when the situation comes.
I am seeing a lot of traders are not at all aware of secondary trading plan; they are simply trading only with one plan and when there is something unexpected happening then they are not having any other option rather than being stuck. It is completely not making any sense when our trading plan will be working all the days; we must expect something to happen unexpectedly and then we must have another plan to tackle that situation.

It is kind of having stoploss for our trades because we are not expecting all the time target to be achieved; but we must expect stop loss also could be reached at any time. Same applies to secondary plan as well.
2387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: any opinions about the recent btc price crash? on: May 05, 2021, 06:11:48 PM
what we saw was just a correction, it was an important one but that is the kind of thing we see in this market from time to time and I am not worried, and even if this eventually means that we see a crash I will see this as an opportunity to buy bitcoin one last time for a cheap price before a new bull run.
Yes, people here must need to understand how the crypto market is trading among corrections and recovery phases; today we are seeing market is getting back to recent high which must be the enough reason why we should not bother about any short-term correction because market will not continuously rising up so we must give it to time to get power through corrections (corrections are sometimes termed as power gaining phase of market).

When market is not powerful enough to break support or resistance then it will have small correction and then will recover to break that support or resistance.
2388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My trading strategies on: May 05, 2021, 01:38:05 PM
as long as you lessen the risk, it's far better than losing more from your initial investments.
But, I do not prefer learning lessons for free of cost and definitely not by risking my hard earned capital. I mean free lessons are available everywhere like if we look into this forum then we can find lots of people are sharing their bitter experiences due to lack of knowledge which could be used like what we need to do and what we need to avoid.

At the same time I'm afraid because I read no strategy will be working for all market conditions and I guess it is applicable even for your strategy.
Yes, but when we keep improving our technical part along with ever changing market conditions then there are lots of possibilities to enjoy an highly effective strategy. For that, you must need to be a continuous learner so that you can update yourself according to market conditions.
2389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: May 05, 2021, 01:11:32 PM
I also already lost a lot of money when making a trade, I remember I bought $1000 in bitcoin and I lost when making a trade, I already lost $500 when making a trade
Sorry to hear your losses. If you would have tried in other way to recover your losses then you might have got chances to get back your $1000 along with some profits as well.

I just buy again bitcoins and hold but never go for trading again unless you have learned some skills in between times.

I mean instead of worrying about some losses for long time, I guess we can try to recover through bitcoin investment way. It will definitely take some time but at the same time will give you peace of mind as well like "you lost but you recovered in some way" like that.
2390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: holding is not an easy thing on: May 05, 2021, 08:20:30 AM
for now what I have noticed with people who are pursuing crypto is wanting to get rich quick. we should throw such thoughts away, because they usually backfire on us. trading must be disciplined, measured, and be able to take advantage of opportunities and not be greedy, take sufficient profits and look for opportunities to come again
Such traders are always part of all markets and those people are finding success regardless of they are actively trading or simply holding because it is up to their level of skills and we cannot have any general opinion here. Moreover everyone is here for making profit so it may sound like being greedy for some people and may not for others.

I must agree that holding is not a simple thing when you are fully depending on the returns of your trading/holding. Managing your holding along with other savings/income could be the only solution here rather than going for loans with the expectation of repaying from the returns of your holding may worsen the situation rather than leading to any solutions.
2391  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happen to bitcoin price? on: May 04, 2021, 08:38:12 PM
For now the price is oscillating between $ 54k and $ 55k, some are accumulating in the correction, it is a good strategy but mainly the bulls are making a special effort to lift the price to at least $ 64k and possibly generate a new ATH, the volume of Trading is good, a good rally is likely to take place
Yeah, healthy volume across exchanges must be the good thing to have right now. It seems investors and traders are too busy with some of the altcoins which might be the reason why we are having bitcoin markets into stagnant state right now. After recovering from $47k levels toward $58.8k seemed promising to get us another ATH but market somewhat lagged with enough buyers to push forward as it was failed to breach 30days moving average.

Now after consolidating around $53 levels, I guess there could be enough power to break the resistances $59 to $61k levels to open door for $70k which may be possible by end of this week.
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin not yet at $100k, why? on: May 04, 2021, 07:47:22 PM
You need to be patient, bitcoin is not going to move according to some schedule just because you want it, bitcoin is going to move at whatever speed that it can, I'm not worried about this and I don't think anyone should be worried about this, we are going to eventually see that price the only question is if you're going to be here when that happens, you need to be very careful because the whales are going to try to do everything they can to scare you away so you sell their coins to them and once you believe bitcoin is not going to reach that price that is exactly when it will happen.
You sound real practical but not most other people are. If you notice most of the people are always in rush toward profit making and that is the reason they are all get stuck at some point of time even with the bitcoin markets; either they sell earlier or will fail to catch ATH to book profits. Honestly patience matters.

Right now it seems bitcoin market is looking for some external help in terms of to triggering it. Or else we can assume like most investors are busy in altcoin pumps as we are witnessing dogecoins and ethereum are into extreme bullish mode which might have made investors/traders focus on them rather than getting engaged in bitcoin trading.
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin no longer relevant? on: May 04, 2021, 07:20:40 PM
Is Ethereum and other altcoins taking over and replacing Bitcoin?
If so, how fast will this happen?

This is a long process for Altcoins to catch up with Bitcoin. You can judge for yourself the different interests of the 2 currencies. although there is a coin price that can catch up with Bitcoin but will not have any effect on Bitcoin. Bitcoin has its own place for people to invest in. Belief in Bitcoin will be much different from other coins, especially in coins that are just emerging on the market. With the increase in Ethereum does not mean Bitcoin will just sit there until the coin has no numbers. It's impossible
I do not think that it is even gradual; there is no possible way that any other coin replace it. I get that bitcoin went down to 45% dominance and I get that it is 54k right now with 7% or so drop, and I can see that ETH had a great period and it increased all the way to 3.3k and beyond, with ETH having 17% or so dominance all by itself. These are all things that make it look like there is a chance that ETH could overtake bitcoin one day, and it looks like there is a possibility.

However remember that bitcoin has 1 trillion dollar marketcap whereas ethereum has less than 400 billion dollars. Which means it needs to go up 2.5x more on top of what it has already gone up, and that will result with the increase, that is not really possible without bitcoin moving at all. I believe it is going to be a lot more challenging then what we have seen so far.
2394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will governments destroy stablecoins in the long term? on: May 04, 2021, 04:54:10 PM
Prohibitions will not work on decentralized currencies like Bitcoin of course since they are always easily found and available on p2p networks and not just on centralized exchanges.

But stablecoins are by nature centralized. If they are banned, no regular exchanges will want them and very few p2p people do Tether swaps,,, much less other stablecoins!
Yes, there are a lot of chances for governments to prohibit stablecoins for any reason. If anything like that happens then we cannot expect those reputed exchanges will keep listing stablecoins as they need to comply with government rules, they will simply delist stablecoins.

I'm not expecting people will go for P2P way of trading for centralized things. Because, if governments prohibit stablecoins then its value may not remain stable which means there will be no more point of trading them even in P2P manner. I am also in favor of decentralized stabelcoins. Hopefully we will get something like that in coming years.
2395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for the next Doge! on: May 04, 2021, 04:16:24 PM
People are always looking for the next big thing because they want to obtain most of the profits they can from the very beginning, it is true that dogecoin has given incredible profits lately but people are greedy and they want to have even more profits and how do you do something like that? You do it by investing in a coin when it is relatively new and no one knows it and then wait for people to wake up and invest in that coin, but as you may guess that is incredibly hard and risky to do.
I'm not seeing any good reason to find out next dogecoins as we are not yet done with our existing dogecoins itself. I mean there are a lot of hidden potential of dogecoins yet to come out so in my opinion it is like too early to think about the next dogecoins. Moreover I feel like that it will be an unnecessary search as of now.

Looking for next to dogecoins may be making only when we are done with dogecoins but I'm not saying dogecoins is being stagnant or falling down but it may keep increasing in coming days as well. So, instead of looking for dogecoins, making use of current big rally of dogecoins might lead to big profits for many traders for sure.
2396  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto vs Stocks on: May 04, 2021, 03:00:38 PM
Which asset types do you think are better: crypto or stocks? Is crypto getting closer to becoming regulated just like stocks? What do you think will happen if institutional investors come into play? Will stocks transition themselves to the Blockchain? Or is it still too early to tell? Your input will be greatly appreciated.
Honestly I did not invest a single penny into stocks in last ten years. Yeah, even before I was entering into the crypto space, I have lost all my faith on stocks because of economy rate of my country. After I got into crypto world, I invested all my efforts only into bitcoins and then I went for slight diversification. In recent times, after pandemic, I read how consistently few of stocks are performing even in hard times which made to think about investing into stocks but I simply ignored my second thoughts as I have bitcoins and I do not need to go for anything else. But, I will invest in real-estate and gold for my tradition reasons.
2397  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin Smash Socialism in Venezuela? on: May 03, 2021, 06:25:19 PM
all I can say is that I find it amusing how somebody from the other side of the globe is teaching me how countries in Europe are, especially since you've mention two in which I've lived for more than 4 years :)Ever been to Europe?
Who told you that I am not European myself? But sure you can talk about how you have been there for 4 years. However one thing is for sure, if I wasn't in Europe, if I was in the other side of the world, Japan, Australia, USA, or any other place, that wouldn't really matter. This is the information age and what you are talking about is information you got, are you from Venezuela? Have you lived there all your life?

Or at least 4 years which according to you is enough to know? If not, then maybe you should not talk about Venezuela neither, but if you want to talk about Venezuela, me, you , some non-EU person or a European person all can talk about it.

Congratulations you have achieved level one in socialist-communist propaganda.
Your rank is novice whataboutist
Whataboutism is not the case here, you listed some things that makes a nation socialist, I showed you that there are social benefits in every nation, you said every socialist nation is bad, I showed you good ones. As a collective all humanity should realize that it is not about socialism versus capitalism, it is about finding the middle ground, too much of each makes a nation horrible, that's just the fact. A little bit of that, a little bit of this and you get a good nation, if you go all the way to socialism or go all the way to capitalism, both are horrible, deadly even.
2398  Economy / Economics / Re: Enjoy comunism: Venezuela raises monthly minimum wage to $2.40 on: May 02, 2021, 08:38:40 PM
I am a socialist. I will never understand why people who live in capitalist societies do not consider that they are in big trouble, I mean I live in a capitalist nation and it looks like much worse than Venezuela.

If you think that the worst nations in the world are socialist ones, you might actually be right, why? Because there are dictatorships there as well, have you ever seen a socialist nation without a dictator? They will never mention the names of that.

Look at Europe, even though they are a democracy, they have all the great socialist ideas, free colleges, free healhtcare, free many things all paid with your taxes, isn't that great? Yes Venezuela is socialist, but so is France, yes Cuba is socialist but so is Norway, why not see them? Look at USA, worlds biggest capitalist nation, people die because they can't afford their insulin, that is the nation you want to be in? I rather not die from something that 1/3 of all people have, that is as insane as it gets and makes USA a third world country in my view.
2399  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at $1 million this cycle really possible? on: May 02, 2021, 07:19:58 PM
I believe we can expect maximum $400k by end of this cycle. So, we need to wait for another four years to have bitcoin hitting one million dollar levels. I agree anything could happen, still just speculating based on how many investors bitcoin could attract in current cycle and in next 4 years.
I guess there is no limit in number of investors bitcoin going to attack and no one could estimate the potential of those investors; it means your speculation about waiting for another year is getting void this way. I mean when we cannot judge anything now itself, new investors may take bitcoin to any level at any time.

If other countries' institutions will be copying what microstaregy and grayscale has done with bitcoins, that would take bitcoins to $1 million levels in the remaining months of 2021.
I read that there are lots of other institutions are already copying microstaregy but not in great number of bitcoins. Only very few corporate decided to risk more with bitcoin investments and all others are just testing their hand with bitcoins as they are doing it for very first time.
2400  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's your bet? how many years could bitcoin go to its highest? on: May 02, 2021, 02:54:07 PM
Sorry but I'm confused about the topic , "How long or Years Bitcoin will reach the highest?
Same here. I tried reading thrice still I could not figure out what OP is seeking.

Still based on my observations here are few things about bitcoin's bullish and bearish trends:
1. Due to halving happens for every 4 years, bitcoin market is also following cycle of 4 years.
2. After halving, bitcoin slowly enters into stronger bull run which may last 12 to 16 months.
3. After a new ATH (usually in December like 2013 and 2017), next 12 months will be bearish trend.
4. After ~70% of fall down, market will enter to sideways which may last for another 12 months.
5. In the times of sideways, another halving will happen and 2nd point will come to effect again.

1st halving was on 2012 and bitcoin got ATH in 2013 December which was $1200.
In 2015 January, it recorded low around $180.

2nd halving was on 2016, bitcoin peaked to $19300 in 2017 (which was 100x from low of previous cycle).

In 2018 December, bitcoin touched low around $3500 hence we may see another 100x growth from that low in 2021 which might be around $350k in 2021 December.

This is my bet. Let's watch.
