2381  Economy / Economics / Re: Majority of Americans Back New Stimulus Checks To Combat Inflation on: November 08, 2022, 06:10:30 PM
This is really hilarious. So they believe that printing out even more money will combat inflation? The funny thing about stimulus is that only a small fraction of the money actually ends up with the common people. The vast majority of it is earmarked for various unions (especially the left-leaning ones), who have an aversion to hard-work and an addiction for free money. Within the next 12 hours or so, the midterm elections will be over in the United States. Biden can do whatever he want, without worrying about any electoral setbacks.
Do you really expect Americans to understand about economy? This is the same nation that pays more for insurance than they would pay as a tax, and still not get free healthcare.

Calculate it and you would be laughing out a lot, they are paying insurance +hospital bills that amount to maybe double the cost of what the tax would be, and they are calculating the tax from the current prices instead of lowering it because it would be just one buyer (the government) so it would be even cheaper, and they yet still do not go with healthcare because "I rather pay more for myself than let others get free healthcare!!!!", it’s America, they are not really that smart. Don't expect too much from them.
2382  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: November 08, 2022, 02:04:01 PM
Elon Musk is a big supporter of Dogecoin and has promoted it multiple times. Now he also owns Twitter where he has many times pushed different crypto projects and caused big fluctuations in the price of different crypto coins.

So is it possible that he will use the ownership title of Twitter to push the prices of Dogecoin also ? I have observed some increase in prices already but will it continue for long run ? Do you think one should bet on this event and spend good amount of money on dogecoin for reaping the benefits later ? Or we should not rely on a man like Elon Musk who has made contradictory statements about bitcoin is past? Which side are you ?
If he can be able to influence the price of cryptos in the past then why not now when he is now the owner of it? He can do more than just a tweet but he can make use of his favourite crypto as an official currency of Twitter to avail premium features. There will be a continuous demand for that coin which can make its value rise more stably. We can try on betting for that event but we should only use money that we can afford to lose.

A lot of us know that Elon's decision can change. It's possible for him to revoke the idea or change the coin with another one. We only need to watch out for this so that we can leave immediately before we suffer losses.
2383  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear market Survivals on: November 08, 2022, 08:56:32 AM
Shitcoins are where the problem begins during the bull run as well and that’s why I hate them so much. I mean in reality, we are talking about a situation where it would be idiotic to invest, but people see them as a way to make quick profit and during the bull run it does become a quick way to make money and they all invest into it.

Of course when the bear starts, these shitcoins are the ones that drop a ton, and that’s a problem, we shouldn't really have something like that in the long run. I personally hope that it would end in the next bull run, but there is a big possibility that it won't and people would still invest into them.
When they give you 100x return during the bull run, you are going to end up risking it for the next one as well. There are a lot of people who invested in silly stuff, stuff that they shouldn't have invested into and they made 10x or more profit from it by luck.

This means they will have enough money to risk, because their 1k turned into 10k or even maybe 50k who knows, and that means they can spare 10k and put it in 10 other coins as 1k each. That’s what happens during bull run, but the moment bear run starts the first place people will withdraw their money from will be the risky shitcoins they invested into, so they will drop even faster and sharper than other trustworthy coins too.
2384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2Mint & Play2Earn Blockchain Games on: November 08, 2022, 05:48:32 AM
The blockchain gaming industry is still in its infancy, but there are a number of games that have been developed using the Play2Mint & Play2Earn technology.

Some notable examples include CryptoKitties, which has garnered a lot of media attention for being one of the first blockchain games to explode in popularity and seemingly taking the rest of the crypto-gaming community along with it.

With the rise of crypto currencies and blockchain technology, it's not surprising that there are now a few games which offer the option to earn real crypto currency in exchange for your gameplay time.
It will get there though, it will get there. One day we are going to have unreal engine 5 using, vast map, a lot of big details type of situation where every bit of the land is used and owned by people etc type of giant thing. It is not going to be this year, or the next, but "one day" it will happen. That’s what humanity is looking for, an imaginary land, a vast one at that, all of which is owned by the players, no house locked, no land out of bounds, every single bit available and owned.

So, people could have another life and metaverse (and maybe help of VR too) will make that happen eventually one day. When that day comes, it’s going to be a bit of a problem for humanity, because many will try to restart their life there instead.
2385  Economy / Speculation / Re: My advice to you regarding bear markets. on: November 07, 2022, 08:42:29 PM
If you want to reap beautiful results in the future? collect Bitcoin little by little.
And it's never too late to accumulate specially now the price is still cheap. Investors who are used to seeing the price turning up and down are aware on what's the best thing to do in times the market is in bearish. When the bull season occur, investors who bought during cheap price will realize that it's worth the wait. Of course the risk is still there, so invest only the money that you can live without.
You are 100% right, since the price is low right now that means we still have a lot of time that we could end up buying and that means people should be going in right now before it’s too late. I know that a lot of people are afraid of the current price but that doesn't mean that they should stay away from it as much as possible, they should be getting in even closer if they are afraid.

The reality is that the "scary" prices are the real place when you should buy because when people are scared that means it’s at low and good price, when they are happy that means it's already too late and many already bought it. That’s the very distinctive difference between low and high prices.
2386  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 07, 2022, 08:18:19 PM
I do not see the price of bitcoin rising early next year. We may have a small pump this year, especially this month, but I think that's it. The market is still very volatile right now and the most I expect is a little pump this month then will eventually go down next month that will continue unto the following year. It is normal that there is a small pump in November as it is always like that in the previous years as well.

As most are expecting, there will be no major pump until the next halving or the year after the halving. It is already an established pattern unless it is broken this halving. I am inclined to prepare for that event rather than catch the small pumps here and there en route to the bull market after the halving.
Why do you think that it would be possible for bitcoin to have an increase this month but not for the few months early in the next year? During the spring entry period (let’s say end of march) it could be over 30k and I think it could stay there. It’s a whole 3 month period and that would be quite good time to increase the price if you ask me.

I know it’s not an easy task, but it’s also not something I would be wary of neither. The best case right now is to get the price going already, like in this month if it reaches 25k then in 2023 it could be even 40k, but even if we fail now, then it could just be 30k+ in the start of the next year and I believe it is totally possible.
2387  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a secure investment amidst recession on: November 07, 2022, 06:49:21 PM
In my view, other investment options besides Bitcoin as a safe investment in the midst of a recession are real estate as one of the best investment tools for the future because it can continue to grow in value even when the price drops. This is relevant to looking at housing needs where demand increases with the increasing population. According to me,
I do not agree with it, because real estate is something that is tied to a situation there and too risky. Literally just one shooting in front of your house could make it devalue like insanely. I would prefer crypto, a basket of sorts where you have some great ones, and then just leave it be and you could make a huge profit from it.

Other methods like gold, stocks, fiat, real estate all of them feel like it’s not even remotely close to what it could give you when you compare it to crypto and that’s a big part of the problem. I am not saying that everyone should do it, if you do not want to, then it’s your own personal choice but I will definitely only invest into crypto.
2388  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it cheaper to send Bitcoin or Ethereum directly? on: November 07, 2022, 06:20:30 PM
One of the "propaganda" or marketing stunt that I've read from some blogs before the transition was the improved scalability and that lower gas fees usually comes with it. I don't recall them saying it will take another major upgrade to address that issue so that's where the confusion usually comes from.
There is "some" scalability in the sense that we could maybe have more or less in ETH transaction depending on the period we are comparing. Right not, it might be seeming like a little bit better but in the long run it is not really that much better, it's close enough.

It was always about the fact that we would have something that will pass the all "late" transactions, and then start anew, and then we would be able to pay a little less, like a bulk order, and afterwards it would all go back to normal like how it was a year ago. Bitcoin is better thanks to segwit right now and I believe in near future devs will come out with an improved version of segwit which may solve scalability issue permanently.
2389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sports and entertainment industries could play a big role in Bitcoin adoption. on: November 07, 2022, 05:22:50 PM
Sports and music can have a big and important role in the dissemination and development of the Blockchain in general, and not Bitcoin in particular, because as far as I know, no sports clubs or music companies have adopted Bitcoin, but rather they have made their own coins, most sports and music teams have their own tokens that their fans buy To make donations or buy tickets, team products, etc. to support the team through these tokens. So I don't see any significant role these sports and music teams could play in the adoption of Bitcoin.
Honestly that means they have been part of the blockchain revolution and that is fine enough for me. Having your own token as a sports club means that you could actually give part of the club to the fans, and in return they would have some say in the club. That’s a good thing, it allows people to be part of something bigger.

Like the rewards system, they could buy a good number of tokens, and then get tickets cheaper, or a jersey for cheaper, or could buy some tokens and meet a player etc etc. These are all great incentives, giving the team a good amount of money, and also making the fans a lot happier to spend their money knowing it goes directly where it should be.
2390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why i believe in bitcoin!! An amateur's outlook. on: November 07, 2022, 02:40:50 PM
I guess that's part of the natural evolution, I mean when people says that a certain invention is going to fall and it will be doom, guess what, it will go the other way around. Just like in the beginning, yes many people invested on bitcoin but sell early because they think it's going to die. And majority of them are not regretting their decision to sell early because bitcoin really took off in the last 10 years or so. Not to late to invest right now, the price is very cheap so take advantage of this situation.
It's true as you say it's not too late to invest now, because we have to take the opportunity to buy bitcoin when the price goes down, because we learn from the bitcoin price in previous years when the bitcoin price shot up all regretted selling bitcoin early and couldn't wait to hold bitcoin longer, I personally like bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is very difficult to guess, I have also felt the peace of holding bitcoin, patience is needed for people who hold bitcoin.
That is something only the smart people will understand when they check it. Reality is that you have to understand the price will always recover and will always crash, it is a cycle and if you take advantage of the crash, then you will profit from the recovery.

Not many people can do it, and I know it could sound shocking to many people here, but I have seen MILLIONS of people who sell when the price goes down. That is counter productive I know, and it is something that will make you lose money and that is why you should not be selling when it's going down, it's wiser to buy when the price is low like right now but only people like us know what is right and what is a mistake.
2391  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: November 06, 2022, 07:29:31 PM
First, let's talk about the semi finals, The first semi final will likely to be won by Pakistan as they have a history of beating New Zealand in the semi finals of the ICC tournaments.

The second semi final should be won by India as they are a much better team among all the teams in this World cup.

If this happens then we would have a dream final between India and Pakistan and based on history, it is likely that the Pakistan team will not be able to handle the pressure against India and India will come out as a winner. This is my gut feeling but let's see how the tournament matches turn out.
Now we have just four teams remaining in this event as in start we have 16, so things are looking tense for all four because sudden entry of Pakistan has never been fruitful for few specially New Zealand because they lost nearly three or four times against Pakistan and it's again which could be painful with right now we can't predict about this result because their preparation is also good, and they have done good job in early matches with just have one defeat against England which mean here they can play good and confidence could be key for both teams here in this match.

In second semifinal England is going to face India which is also interesting encounter between these two sides after very long time now again England is position to beat any team in big match as they are also looking for their first World Cup trophy in this format and the preparation is also good which helps them for having this spot.
2392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana going Big??? on: November 06, 2022, 06:19:51 AM
This sounds like good news for solana but I wonder how powerful solana will be when constant outages and it's virtually impossible to fix the problem. Solana used to be rated as a potential project but it clearly fell short of expectations and now it is facing stiff competition as new projects are developing like aptos and sui. For me the future of solana is becoming murky and has no future.
And the hacks as well?

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4546458-solana-one-hack-too-many

So this is a good news, but not sure if investors are going to sway and pour their money again. I wouldn't say though that the future is murky and has no future. But it seems the hype has died down already and investors maybe are looking for new projects.

So let's see if this news will be a good push for the price long term.
So, this new update doesn't totally solve the past issue solana experienced? Ouch. I almost comment positive words if not because of your post guys. Guess it's too early to celebrate yet until further fixes are done by the team and upon a long time of observation if solana is now running well without a hiccups.

For now, let us still be cautious and won't be carried away by the hype. True investors of solana might stay because solana is still showing signs of life and I think some will push their support even at the very end and will just accept if the result is a loss while fake investors and hype seekers will only come and go depending on how the news go.
2393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie trading believe on: November 05, 2022, 11:23:30 AM
 - Any person who thinks that getting into cryptocurrency is an opportunity and that you can make money every day is possible, but you must have enough knowledge or idea about cryptocurrency because you can't make money here without knowing anything. That's why beginners who enter here, should first learn or find out what cryptocurrency is, it's not allowed here if you don't understand the world of crypto.

That's why most people always say "Do your own research" and "Buy what you can afford to lose" So that you have no one to blame but yourself.
True, here anything can happen, but we must have knowledge before actually becoming an investor. Knowledge is an important key that we must master about this cryptocurrency, otherwise the possibility of losing money is very high. If you want to invest here, don't be in a hurry, it's better to be late than to feel a loss because of your own carelessness. Now it's easier to learn what's in this cryptocurrency space as long as we're not lazy to find out something new and learn it.
Unfortunately, in this day and age there are less and less people who are caring about the "knowledge" side of things. The new generation show us (people who are over 30) study and have knowledge and basically get ourselves ready for the world like crazy but still got screwed because wealthy people of the world abused our knowledge and used to make themselves richer while we stayed poor.

So for the new generations like Z, knowledge is not the key, it's "happiness", if we are going to be abused and poor and not live a great life, then why spend 8 hours a day working a job we hate? Just do what you like and be poor anyway, at least you would be poor doing something you love.
2394  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Strategies for Trading. on: November 05, 2022, 09:16:03 AM
Being calm and not panic when it’s going down, and buying more with the saved stablecoins you have. I know that everyone will talk about macd, weekly ma, and bollinger and all that. But leaving emotions aside and buying as much as you can at every turn is the only path.

Because in the long run it goes up, which means that we are going to keep seeing it go higher and then buying right now means it’s a good decision. Doesn't matter if it goes down, doesn't matter if it’s staying still, doesn't matter if it has been like this for a day or a week or a month or a year. Just buy more, leave emotions aside, and then buy some more. This will be the key to making a big profit.
This is such a correct way of approaching things. Many people think that the solution is technical and they are forgetting that it’s mostly about emotions. Technical part of it could help you with futures margin, quick trades and al if you are doing rapid trading, but if you are a good investor then the trading strategies that you do should be based on less and less emotions, and you should not be in panic mode when you are wrong.

Sometimes we are wrong, all humans could be wrong at times, Warren Buffet made a profit by investing and even he has down years, and plenty of them as well. So, it should not come as a shock that sometimes we could be wrong too.
2395  Economy / Economics / Re: House is a forced saving on: November 05, 2022, 08:05:50 AM
I have a private house and an apartment. In the apartment, all problems with gas, water, heating, sewerage are eliminated by the communal organization.
In a private house, solve all the problems yourself or hire specialists. If you cannot do at least minor repairs yourself, then home maintenance will be expensive for you.
Why do I prefer an apartment? It is cheaper and in the place I need with good infrastructure more offers. A private house is located outside the city in a good green place, as a place to relax.
You have a point, and also, you are in the middle of the city with all are accessible, but with regards to the problems in your apartments is that if the communal organization takes time to send tradespeople to fix the issues, this is the most common issues, but still, overall apartment is my preferred too if only you have enough money to own it and also I think it is not that spacious, unlike the private house.

I dreamed of having apartments, but the cost here in our country is costly, unlike private houses in provinces (green places with mountains and a lot of trees). Because there is a lot of demand for it, I buy a lot and build a house on it as it is way cheaper.
The trouble of "fixing the problems in the house" is a problem of first world, because in places like where I live, those things are cheap because man hour spent on things is cheap, labour is cheap, you pay someone 10 bucks to solve it and it's done. Private houses are more expensive though because land is expensive, meaning if you could get apartment instead it would be cheaper, it's smaller to live in some 800 square foot place instead of 3000, but it would be cheaper too and people can only afford that.

Worst is when you get a place like that both outside of the city and still small because you can only afford that, which is where I live, it’s both far away from everywhere, middle of nowhere, but it’s also a tiny place, with 31 other people in the same apartment, we each have our own houses in it of course, but it's 600 square foot, so very small.
2396  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im looking For good signals channels on: November 05, 2022, 07:04:21 AM
It was hard to get any of these signals from the forum but you can find a lot of recommendations online. Might that was you need.
If you understand why people here are not suggesting/recommending and that is because they don't want you to fall into the wrong signal groups that are flooder already in the market. But, you are making an urge to see it, hope you will get one and make a profit, but never turn as back talking and regretting why you do this.
That is a big big risk. I mean if they are searching online for a signal group then they could face something that could be good, or they could face something that is a scammer and they may not know how it is.

Since bitcointalk is a fair place, people could share their signal groups here and if they really trust themselves they would share some examples beforehand, and if they are good then people would join, and after people join then customers who joined could come here and could vouch for it or not. This is why bitcointalk is so important, if there are a lot of legendary accounts saying a group is good, there is a high chance it's actually good.
2397  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull or bear November? on: November 05, 2022, 06:36:00 AM

But let us continue our monthly fun. Would the price of bitcoin increase or decrease in November?
I have a feeling that the market will be bearish again this november before finally made its way  high for the Bull market  (or better call semi Bull because there are no assurance that there will big increase)

but we cannot assure what will come instead we will only speculate to what can bring our investments as we are all having our funds on hold till time being.
I do not think that it will be bearish, I think it will be quite stable. At the very worst case it could drop to like 19k, and that’s not really bearish because we are used to it already, and at the very best case we are going to see it do like 24k or so and that would be great.

It doesn't mean that we are going to end up with something awesome or something terrible because it hasn't done that in a while and I do not think that it will do that for a while longer. The best thing to do right now is to get as much as you can and wait, in 2023 it could actually make some moves and that would be great for a of us. I am sure that we could wait that long if we are careful with our money.
2398  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: November 04, 2022, 08:55:22 PM
We have been staying at very low levels for a long time, so the best guess we can say is that the worst has happened and that the next will be much better, or at least we will see more corrections in the near term.
The market has reached a state of equilibrium where everyone is satisfied with a price in the range of 18k to 23k, and therefore, in the normal situation, it is difficult to break these levels.
We already had a lot of lows so far, that means we are going to probably do a lot better in the future. People need to realize that these big huge moves are like time bombs and they happen out of nowhere suddenly. Like when we were about 7k to 10k in 2020 and by the end it was 30k and a few months later it was 60k.

Same could be said about the crash, we didn't crash all the way from bottom 3.4k to 68k and then suddenly we crashed back to 20k as well. So that means we could have a huge unexpected big increase again, and it will definitely happen but we do not know when, the more time passes the closer we are getting there.
2399  Economy / Speculation / Re: The pump isn't coming sooner on: November 04, 2022, 06:28:31 PM
The main thing is persistence and determination to keep up with the market even when days are bad and of course when days are good. There are people who stop having that determination and they stop investing or hoping to invest.

The new investors who are coming in with low quality investments often get trapped in the cycle of bull and bear not knowing how to use these times to their advantage.

There lies the difference with big investors who are willing to take their time and keep putting in money at the proper price and time.
Big investors have the money to invest whenever they want to, that’s their power. I mean normally many people here live with the money they have, and do not have much to invest aside because they need all their money to survive, our salaries are not enough to live amazingly, it's good enough to survive most of the time but it’s not like we are rich people.

However, rich people could spend 1 million dollars per month to live an amazing life, and could still have some money aside, they could have hundreds of millions, even billions of dollars. That is why they do not care when they are investing, they could buy 50 million dollars worth of bitcoin and put it aside for 20 years and never have to look at it again because they won't need that money anyway.
2400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would you do? on: November 04, 2022, 05:41:52 PM
I had invested in this project in the previous bull run but exited after a short-term profit.

Right now I think the big players who were supporting this project ( like Almeda research ) are now supporting other layer 1 projects. Like aptos and sui. Many developers are currently giving priority to these two layer 1 blockchains instead of solana. Hence I think it's time to consider other altcoins
I am not entirely sure if that means it will go higher though. I mean I get that there could be some investors, and even whales who are taking interest in these things but that doesn't mean that it will be going up the way you think it will. Maybe it will go up, but not as much as Solana for example? I do not like solana to be fair, I hope that one doesn't do so well, but like I said there are other coins which may have a better way of going up and that’s why I wouldn't put my trust on these just yet.

Just because there are some whales promoting a coin doesn't make that coin any more likely to go up and stay there, there is a good possibility that it may never go up.
