2381  Economy / Services / Re: CryptoTalk.Org Signature Campaign [Yobit Panel] on: September 29, 2019, 10:50:13 AM
Hello, please I want to verify something. Hope posting 20 posts in a day won't get my account banned/flagged by the forum?.
Also, Can I spread the 20 posts over a period of 10hrs with average of 2posts/hour?

First try to understand that you need to post constructive and constructive means you involve in a discussion or share something which is new and relevant to the topic. If there is anything of your interest, you may post  3-4 posts in an hour too and at times you will not post for period of 12 - 15 hrs or even a day.

By the way, constructive posting is not a 9 - 5 Job where you post twice every hour.  Cheesy
Believe me while posting if you have something at the back of your mind that you have to complete 18-20 posts, no matter what happens, you will end up spamming.

2382  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.3 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: September 29, 2019, 09:58:24 AM
The weird thing about wagering contests is that most of the time people who end up in the top 5 positions all way until the last seconds to see and feel how the last seconds will be like so they don't gamble too much. Isn't the purpose of a contest is to see who can do the most damage?

I have similar experience in wagering contest which are for shorter time duration. While we are seeing who is wining and losing, in the last minutes or seconds, suddenly we see a lot of hidden members appears and also with big wagering amount and those are the ones who mostly got the top positions. I sometimes have the feeling that sites manipulate the results of the wagering contest and award the winners to their self made hidden accounts.
2383  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: September 29, 2019, 05:39:09 AM
Most of the matches which i saw in rugby world cup till now are one sided ones. Same goes for the on-going match between ARG and TGA. TGA is losing this match by 7 - 28 and this is another example of a boring match. Maybe as the tournament progresses, we may see a close finishes.

Argentina is currently leading by 28-12, and I won't regard this match as an one sided affair. Tonga is not a very strong side, but they put 100% effort in to this game and gave a good fight to Argentina. BTW, we have the Namibia vs South Africa match later today, and I expect it to be really close (although South Africa is one of the tournament favorites).

I agree that there were a number of one-sided matches so far in this tournament. But at the same time, we had one big upset (Uruguay defeating Fiji by a margin of 30-27). Considering the limited geographic reach of rugby as a sport, we can expect wide discrepancy in the skill levels between various nations. So one sided matches are expected, at least during the group phase. Still I would say that they did the right thing by expanding the world cup to 20 teams, rather than limiting it to a handful of nations (similar to what the cricket world cup has become).

Probably the match between Uruguay and Fiji was the only one which got a lot of attention and interest. It turned out to be a thriller.
For today's match i love the way Tonga played but scoring wise it was still another one sided world cup match. Undecided

Although Uruguay played brilliant against Fuji, they have not started well today against Georgia and have been missing the ball. Remember this match is crucial for both teams as the current points of Uruguay is 4 and Georgia is 0 and a win can really make them stay in the race of qualifying to the next round.
Australia and wales are currently at the top of pool D with 5 points each.
2384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this why Bitcoin is crashing? on: September 28, 2019, 02:55:58 PM
  • Baakkt is not doing very well
Thoughts?

Before jumping to a conclusion on bitcoin crash reason, we need to determine what was the expectation from bakkt ?
Many people thought that the bakkt will launch , the marketcap and volume of bitcoin will increase enormously as institutional investors will enter in to this market. Yes, they will invest but no one said that it will happen on the first day or the first week. We need to give some time to this new platform for bitcoin futures and only after sometime we may see positive results for crypto currencies.

Bitcoin Price Dropping - Are You Scared?

It is as it is planed. Bitcoin price should reach $10000 only at the end of the year but we allready had $10000 Bitcoins in June. That was a suprise. Those 5 montsh of constant price increase. A big surprise I would never predict. What is happening right now is totaly normal. Price can easily go down to $6000 before recovering. But can also stay where it is right now. We are not hihg or low right now. Just perfect.

How can you say that Bitcoin correct price for December 2019 should be 10,000 ? I do not see any logical reasoning behind it. I am sure bitcoin will be either 1- 3K above or below 10K on December this year.

And Yes, the bitcoin falling is very scary as after the dump it takes a lot of time in recovering the bitcoin price.
2386  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 26, 2019, 08:26:43 AM
Yup, it's governed by this 45 year old law which is the PD449 and it have a couple of ammendments, i just forgot what PD it is. No law governing online cockfighting AFAIK.

I just searched this PD499 law which was made way back in 1974 by Manila PRESIDENTIAL authority. There should have some updates or changes in it as things do change in the period of 50 years or so.
https://www.lawphil.net/statutes/presdecs/pd1974/pd_449_1974.html

There are amendments to this PD449 where it is stated there that the local government can regulate cockfighting but i don't know why there is a raid on a cockpit arena near to my place. The raiding team's basis for the raid is the PD449, it's controversial as one of the owner of the cockpit arena is a government official. Please see below for the link of the news.

https://www.sunstar.com.ph/article/1817492

This incident is not very old and just happened on August 5 this year and around 200 people were held by the police. According to the amendments, cockfighting is allowed on holidays like on Sundays and public holidays. If that is true than why they raid this cockfighting arena ?
Maybe because Aug 5th was Monday and the cockfighting was still going on there ?
2387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: September 26, 2019, 07:10:44 AM
Yesterday we witness one of the closet match between Uruguay and Fiji and probably the first big upset of this world cup.
Important to mention that this was Uruguay's first win in 16 years and only their 3rd  world cup win. Juan and his team had a memorable moment of their lives when they beat Fiji.
With this win, Uruguay move up to 3rd position in the pool D.
2388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 26, 2019, 05:19:25 AM
I never saw this really huge amount place in one bet, usually big players will play max 1 btc per bet even though they have 10 btc or more bankroll. Now I underatand why stake is more than just a gambling site. Big player or small players just gather here to make some fortune
These are whales basically. I guess you have never been to Las Vegas. The amounts wagered in Stake are small when compared to what whales wager in the Las Vegas casinos just like any popular casino out there.

They must be really big whales man, otherwise there are not idiots who barely have 10 bitcoin total and then just bet it all in just for one bet (or maybe there is I don't know but that would be really silly to do)
Wrong. This is a smart bet and they call this yolo gambling where they wager their entire bankroll at once in order to win a big one and leave. Wagering small amounts might help psychologically, but the house will beat you in the long term which is why this short-term method is very popular.

I do not agree to invest all your bankroll in a single bet and call him a smart gambler. Suppose you have 10 bitcoins and you invest them all in a single bet and then loss he bet  Roll Eyes
If this happens to me , I might suicide. There is no money left with me and I am helpless.

Doing bets with small amounts is also not as easy as it seems but this idea of investing in a single roll, I am out of it. Shocked
2389  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: September 22, 2019, 03:26:35 PM
^^
I looks to be starting sometime this year as they said October initially but that doesnt look like its going to happen when they gave us a sneak peek of what the interface looked like on the stake chat about a month ago.
It did look quite slick but there were alot of information which just looked like programing language. So it is far from complete to be released to the public yet.

I did not see that sports betting interface which they shared through the chat. Maybe I am not that active on the chat and focus on the games only.
I would like to see it live on October as you mentioned but the site admins can tell exactly when they will be releasing the sport betting feature.

sports at Stake will be huge , can't wait  Cheesy
weekend megarace was a big disaster for me , but happens in gambling
19 btc wagered means a potential 0.19 btc loss  because of the 1% house edge , so it could be profitable if the session itself was good

Sports betting at stake ? Is it starting soon ?
Currently I am enjoying the crash game at stake. This is a very difference experience of playing crash game here.  Smiley

2391  Economy / Speculation / Re: Speculating with Tom Lee on: September 22, 2019, 12:55:05 PM
What bitcoin will do is dependent on couple dozen whales and that is it, not the market, not the public decision, just those whales wanting bitcoin to go one direction and doing it.

From what you said above, I think the whales won't control the direction of price soon. At the time the popularity of bitcoin will rise more, more investors would come in and the chain of whales will be broken down into smaller parts and unit. By then what you would have are semi whales, that is holders with quantity that can't really change a market direction by a single effort.

When a lot of institutional  and retail investors will come in the crypto world, the bitcoin will be divided among them and it will be more difficult to manipulate the currency which is more distributed and no one holding the major portion of the coins.

As far as Tom Lee is considered, I have stopped following him and other famous persons because none of them give the correct predictions and all of them give statements to move the market in their favor.
2392  Economy / Speculation / Re: Day Trading for a Living? on: September 22, 2019, 12:37:33 PM
A big part of day trading is how much your commission fee is. If you can trade near commission free you will be able to profit easier.

What do you mean by commission fee in day trading crypto ? If you are talking about the transaction fee or trading fee, that is very low and trader normally do not consider it.
Or maybe you are trading on the behalf of someone and talking about the commissions which you get by trades made for others ?
2393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 22, 2019, 12:04:28 PM
I think India has a great chance of winning the T-20 world cup. Will wait for the see actual result. Smiley

Next T20 world cup is very far away and will be played in Australia in 2020. There is still one year left in that series. It is very early to predict who will be the winner of that world cup as it is not easy for the Asian teams to perform well on Australian pitches.
2394  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bakkt is coming: will this be biggest crypto week ever and set off bull run? on: September 22, 2019, 11:58:35 AM
I dont believe it will mean much to the price. It is mostly for the large corporate investors to make their move with the swing of the price. Nothing more but making the rich get richer..
only this time around in crypto. Roll Eyes

For a moment just forget about the impact of bakkt on bitcoin price. Think of the adaption Bakkt will bring. There will be so many new investors who will be investing in bitcoins through Bakkt. When you will see more people using bitcoins its demand will automatically increase and since we all know that bitcoin quantity is fixed, the price can shoot up very high in very small amount of time.
Both Bakkt and the bitcoin halving are enough to start the another bull run.
2395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Rugby World Cup predictions on: September 22, 2019, 10:13:05 AM
Today's match between Ireland and Scotland just ended and it was real entertainment. Although Ireland win this match comfortably but Scotland really played well and keep the possession of the ball in their hand but did not manage to break the defense of Ireland.
England and Tonga match is about to begin and it will be another thriller.
2396  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: September 22, 2019, 01:52:59 AM
The other day, we saw the introduction of KYC by the popular DEX called Idex.
Yes, if you use the exchange https://idex.market, you cannot trade on it unless you create an account there and do the KYC.

I can't stop laughing, a decentralized exchange is asking for KYC. So, what is left decentralized in there?

That's is what concern me too. There must be a some push from the authorities to make all the crypto enabled sites KYC compulsory and this cannot be done in decentralized environment. I see KYC as a big hurdle in making crypto a truly decentralized entity. Sad
2397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many times have you gone against majority on: September 22, 2019, 01:35:04 AM
Many times, I do this whenever I'm in the mood and had a small amount to bet and doesn't care whether it will win or lose. I just want to feel the thrill.

So what is your percentage of winning or losing when you go against the majority ? I tried it few time but failed most of the times. The Majority of the bets are placed on the ones gamblers think will win based upon the past performances, and it is very rare the upsets happen and the less favorite team wins.
Unless you are the one who like to take the risks, it is better to stick with the decision of the majorities.
2398  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 21, 2019, 06:14:40 PM
Bangladesh needs to perform as team. They are heavily depending on Shakib which is not good. Not every day he can save them and perform. Anyway, it was a good win for Bangladesh which should boost some of their confidence for the final.

Bangladesh will have home advantage when they will play the final on 24 of this month. At the same time they will be more under pressure because they cannot afford to lose the final in front of home crowd.
Regarding Shakib, he is playing well for the team but how often do we see that the best in-form player of the team fails in the last most important match. Bangladesh has to come up with a plan if Shakib fails.
2399  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LocalBitcoins and Tier verification's on: September 21, 2019, 12:19:15 PM
The invincible hand of government is pushing for a compulsory KYC in crypto exchanges and sites. The other day, we saw the introduction of KYC by the popular DEX called Idex. I am not against KYC. Any good KYC system to see a mass adoption of bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general, I am okay. Maybe some persons from some parts of the world may later have issues with KYC because of USA economic policies and sanctions.

Yes, if you use the exchange https://idex.market, you cannot trade on it unless you create an account there and do the KYC. I think for the traders, we should realize that there was now very less options where we can buy/sell and trade crypto without KYC, so its better to do kyc then for looking for conditions on how to avoid the KYC.
2400  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5Dimes founder found dead in Costa Rica a year after abduction on: September 21, 2019, 04:51:31 AM
that's really sad especially for his family the hopes of his family returning him home alive is now banished yes he returned home but he is dead. anyways people always do anything for money and the fact that he's owner of online casino and huge bitcoin holder which makes it more likely a target so, for huge btc holders, keep your identities safe or else your life is in danger and you'll might end up like this guy

He was the owner and founder of the sportsbook site https://www.5dimes.eu/
William Sean dead body was found but no one is sure who actually killed him.  This is a sad demise for a person with good business and money. I wonder who will run the sportsbook now, maybe his wife ?
