Welcome, Daengineer.
As a new joiner here, you may want to take a look at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177133.0 and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0 to get some basic info about bitcointalk.

Yeah I've gotten into 3D printing I've been doing it from my house since 2009. During the huge scare of Obama banning ammo and 30 round clips and such I had boom in business because I have many, many files of clips for different guns and had a pretty long life span.

That's very cool. You may provide the service for bitcoin as well now.  Smiley
242  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difference Wallet - Brainwallet on: September 26, 2014, 01:24:27 PM
The good thing about a brainwallet is that you can use whatever characters you picked and convert it to a bitcoin private key.
The bad thing is that someone else can just keep trying to do the same, and get your bitcoin.

Do not use a brainwallet unless you really know exactly what you are doing.
If you know what you are doing and still think you should use a "brainwallet", you don't actually know what you're doing. Smiley

Very true. Smiley

Before you create a brainwallet, please take a look at https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Brainwallet especially the precaution section.
243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to send bitcoin to multiple wallet at once ??..... on: September 26, 2014, 01:13:14 PM
Some peoples send payments like this

https://blockchain.info/tx/6f19db77993aaedc3ac1c93e73451ed4047c8924905b622eb38ad80827e08369

How to send like this

It will be great if i can.. as it will save my transaction fees

Which wallet are you using?

If you are using bitcoin core, you can click "Add Recipient" at the bottom of the send tab.
If you are using blockchain.info, you can click "Custom" on the left and the + sign on the right of the send money tab.
244  Other / Meta / Re: My username here has been hijacked. on: September 26, 2014, 12:44:53 PM
There was a post by him somewhere about him having a leaky queue, so we are to resend every two days. I dont know why you get no answer.
The leaky queue was not about restoring accounts, it was about something else. IIRC the "leaky queue" was regarding people wanting to change their usernames.

I believe you are talking about this post https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.msg7697424#msg7697424.
While theymos was responding to a request of changing username, he mentioned "I have kind of a "leaky queue" for forum work". Smiley
245  Other / Meta / Re: China blocks Bitcointalk - what will the results be on the alternate section? on: September 26, 2014, 12:39:15 PM
Those who can understand bitcoin should have no problem using proxy and Tor lol. Cheesy

246  Other / Meta / Re: [SCAM] Ongoing attempt - Phishing link send around in PM, copy of the forum on: September 26, 2014, 12:24:36 PM
Hopefully I can get up to 30 activities quickly, 74 seconds is still painful for me Cheesy

You have made 49 posts now in total, so you just need to make a post after 09:40 UTC, Sept 30 and you will get 42 activity and a positing limit of 48 seconds. Smiley
247  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Huobi withdrawal resumed after misoperation involving 920+BTC on: September 25, 2014, 05:39:38 AM
It seems the customers have already paid back 880 btc out of the overpaid 920 btc within a day.
To be honest, I am quite surprised to see that the customers are so cooperative.
248  Economy / Gambling / Re: All-Dice.com (JD on steroids) on: September 16, 2014, 06:56:07 AM
Apart from copying the design and all the text from JD, your site has a zero bankroll lol.
Are you supposing people will invest in your 0-bankroll 0-bet site?

Coinpiler was offering weekly signatures. They might be closed now, though.

EDIT: Open only for Sr or Hero members.

What do you need to do to become Sr/Hero member? Is that explained somewhere?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0
You need to have 240 and 480 activity to become a Sr member and a hero member respectively.

And you can get at most 14 activity every 2 weeks.

You again - you replied to my activity post on another topic aswell  Grin Thanks.

Yup I am stalking you! Just kidding.
You are welcome. Grin

i just see in my facebook group is that he is got the number 10000 and his balance now 1.3 BTC

wetsuit can you approve this true or not or he is just use Inspect Element ?

Won 0.35 and has now 1.3...
I think he lies.

maybe you true
i think is impossible to get number 10000
We cannot say impossible but very difficult and need too much luck for this which I have no  Wink

The chance to hit 10000 is low at 0.005%.
But if there are 200 active users, each making 10 rolls a day, we should have 3 "10000" rolls a month on average.
255  Other / Meta / Re: The definitive explanation of how activity works! on: August 24, 2014, 04:48:27 PM
Let me see if I get this right:
I registered on Jan 4th this year - this is 17 two-week periods, right? Multiplied by 14 it's 238.

Nope, because you haven't been active in every periods.
For example, you haven't made any posts in between March 26, 2014 and May 05, 2014.

You have been active in a total of 14 periods, and so your activity has been capped at 196 at this moment.
256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges on: August 24, 2014, 04:42:45 PM
BTC-E is located in russia i think. So it's kinda risky to trade there.

Owners say its located in bulgaria as for being risky if i was to choose between a new exchange and btc-e i would rather go for btc-e as its been around since 2011.

I also use it and i have never had issues with them, so far.

Yeah, owned by Russians, located in Bulgaria, business banks in Cyprus or something...shady guys if you ask me  Grin

And unlike Bitstamp and the dead Mtgox, no one ever know who the owners of btc-e are.
So yup, it is shady but it is still working well at this moment. Smiley
257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin same-day? on: August 24, 2014, 04:33:19 PM
If you want to get bitcoin fast, the best option is to use Localbitcoins or Bittylicious (if you are in the UK).
I don't think you can get bitcoin for just bitstamp+1% though. You probably need to pay bitstamp+5%.

Edit: Sorry I think I might have put this in the wrong section. Mod's, please move it to the right place. I guess you can call it a "service".

You should find a "Move Topic" button on the bottom left corner, and you should be able to move the thread yourself. Smiley

It is nice to know that the problem is finally solved now, and it is nice to see you haven't trusted the wrong person.
Well done, btchris.
260  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin bought at ATM = Cold storage? on: August 24, 2014, 03:57:32 PM
Generally speaking cold storage is considered to be BTC that is in an address/wallet that only you have ever controlled.

Not only that.
For cold storage, your address should be created in a machine without internet connection.
Plus, your wallet should never be placed in any online machines.
