2541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project Mainstream Update - We're calling in Alex Jones tomorrow. on: October 10, 2011, 03:13:40 AM
We should get Alex and Bruce together. A conspiracy theory nutcase and a convicted scammer - who better than them to promote bitcoin?

Please don't associate Bitcoin with crazy people.  I know you can get customers if you advertise at the local insane asylum but they will scare the rest of your potential customers away.

Call in to business related shows on mainstream outlets and talk about the sound economic foundations of Bitcoin if you want to generate good PR.

Any PR is good PR. We are kind of desperate for PR at this point. Price keeps falling. Wonder what is next ? $2 maybe ?

This is the truth. It doesn't matter what the fuel is, we need to get this machine out of park and on the road at least.

Nice analogy. I like you took the initiative for this. Too much stagnation in the community. Too many ideas but nobody doing anything etc.
2542  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [masterpool.eu] Merged Mining - Proportional - US/EU MIS - 1% Fee on: October 10, 2011, 03:09:45 AM
Hey Nodemaster,
Do you think some large pool is secretly merged mining?
According to http://dot-bit.org/tools/nextDifficulty.php,the network is over 500 gH/s strong.

I would say something like that is happening I see too many solved blocks going by that don't show up on the stats page of the three pools I know doing the merged.

Deepbit is probably doing some merged mining. I just sense it. Or BTCguild etc.

Damn scammers !!! Who knows how long they have been doing it for as well etc.

Oh no, do you mean that they didn't allow you to put your advertising all over the communal cafeteria for your rent-a-desk? lol

Hey man, don't judge us the thieves just stole our sign yesterday !

I'm working on an exchange for GG and TBX, don't see why i couldn't add FBX. Will continue it after I get through with SC 2.0. Keep mining you FBX.

Is there any sense to devising some sort of standard 'coin API' to make it easy for new coins to be supported by existing exchanges?

That's what we need man. I can dump my new ShitCoins / ScamCoins faster than you can say "exchange" LOL !!!
2546  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Send me Gold or Silver and get bitcoins!! on: October 10, 2011, 02:49:57 AM
PM me with your offers!!

Gold > Bitcoins in my opinion. Gold is a real hard asset. Only problem is storing it securely. Maybe give it to you Tongue ?
2547  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: WHy do people only buy ATIcards when NVIDA is somuch better? on: October 10, 2011, 02:48:38 AM
But wouldn't buying 2 3GB 580 GTX's pay off sooner than a ATI?

Nope. Nvidia sucks balls for mining son. Around 4 times slower than ATI shit.
2548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the Hate on this Forum, it Depreciates BTC on: October 10, 2011, 02:43:59 AM

I was joking mate. Take it easy. Nice scam the OP tried to pull. 100 BTC for free YAY.

Maybe he'll have better luck on reddit.

IMHO sending 100 BTC to an anonymous anything on the Internet = so dumb you deserve to be scammed.
2549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Project Mainstream Update - We're calling in Alex Jones tomorrow. on: October 10, 2011, 02:42:22 AM
If we get that crazy guy onto this then we may see the price rise once again. He has LOTS of paranoid folks there listening to his preaching. We might see a rally. BUY BUY BUY !!!

PS : Loving Project Mainstream !!! Hopefully Bitcoin price rises again.

2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alternate Cryptocurrencies Rewiew on: October 10, 2011, 02:00:12 AM
So you perpetuated the scams and made some money. What, exactly, are we supposed to take from that?

Just throwing my personal experience out there.  Take from it what you will.

My take on it is: until something changes (alt chain overload? enough dumb people burned by the scam chains?) every chain popping up like a daisy is insanely profitable for the earliest adopters.

It's like bitcoin to date, but with time frame massively compressed.  For some chains 48 hours separated the "early adopters" from the "late adopters."  The alt chains are coming out ever more complete at launch (pools, exchanges launch day) and I wouldn't be surprised if highly profitable "early adopter" window keeps shrinking.

Well what happened in the end to most of these scamchains !?

They died. Same fate awaits Bitcoin, only on a much larger timeframe Sad
2554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do NOT use MtGox, they have NO customer service AT ALL on: October 10, 2011, 01:59:27 AM
Well said mate. Fuck the Japanese scammers.
2555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop the Hate on this Forum, it Depreciates BTC on: October 10, 2011, 01:14:44 AM
LOL thinking they can scam us for 100 BTC easily. Damn scammers GO DIE !!! If if wasn't for you Bitcoin price would still be $30 right now. Damn scammers. Bet you all from Nigeria too, huh ?
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to grow up. on: October 10, 2011, 01:02:42 AM

2557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to grow up. on: October 10, 2011, 12:23:00 AM
However, deflationists pinged and poked me with so much effort and zeal that I will introduce deflationary influences in TBX (don't worry though, no subsidy cuts and no "demurrage" reaching into user's pocket)

Watch out for next TBX bounty

TBX is pretty much dead by now. Litecoin is the next popular scamchain mate. Go with the flow LOL
2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SolidCoin 2 Release - Monday 10th October 23:35 UTC on: October 10, 2011, 12:17:42 AM
