2661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A New Clipboard Attack on: May 04, 2017, 06:49:53 PM
Unfortunately, only the newbie victims fall for it.Pretty sure an experienced bitcoiner is cautious while doing transactions. Doesn't matter how low the amount is,I'll make verify it couple of times that I've pasted the correct address as I copied from the source.Being extra careful about your money helps.Clipboard hacks are probably the oldest in the bitcoin hacking scene.
2662  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: New Project WorkingForBitcoins.com! Come help test it out! on: May 04, 2017, 06:44:42 PM
Here are my 10 minute analysis after visiting the website. You do know you have a good competition out there, right?

->The website's css man.You need to hire an experienced front-end developer.Use a modern responsive framework.Your custom css makes it look like 1990's.
->Have a look at this page : https://www.workingforbitcoins.com/terms .With my latest chrome browser, half the content is hidden under the site navigation menu.
->You're using php + ubuntu server, severing at the port 443 ? Such information should be hidden from the back-links.

Hey Joca, sorry for hijacking your thread. You know I've been your long time tips follower and almost check out your bets every other day but today I've to let you know that you might be promoting a scam betting website.I'm sure there are many like me who follow your bets and want to bet on the same site as you do.You know the truth,sportsbet.io has been accused of stealing bitcoins and have already tagged red on the forum along with their counterpart casino sites. Please look into the matter and you should stop playing there too!
2665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: something we can all be happy about on: May 04, 2017, 06:27:18 PM
Zcash has the best underlying privacy technology (zk-snark) and has good corporate backing. I think it will be a leader in getting Crypto accepted and used in business-to-business transactions; Augur is for prediction markets, Golem is for distributed computing.
However,Zcash is really insecure when it comes to privacy. The critics say, they developers indirectly have access to your private keys which is not only bad but a big NO.The price drops in the early stages is enough for me to stay away.

Well, this is actually sad, because it means I can't pick up coins at a cheap price...
You can always pick up the best ones at the current price which would always be cheap when you think of the future.Better yet, pick one of your gems from the new altcoin market.

there will be many who regret not hodling.
How would the exchanges run if everyone only were over possessive about holding ?
2666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any accounts of bitcoin in Japan? on: May 04, 2017, 06:23:13 PM
Bitcoin and crypto currency is slowly starting to buzz in mainstream US news, it isnt big yet but i noticed a few publications focusing on it now.

Was wondering if there was anyone in japan that could give us some idea if the "bitcoin hype" is real? Also, if so have you purchased anything with bitcoin?

Really curious
->Japan is way ahead of any other country in practical use of bitcoins.
->They've malls in japan with automated vending machines which accept bitcoins to provide variety of goods for kids as well adults.
->They have functioning bitcoin ATM's and real time conversion machines.
->Bitcoin hype is way more than you can imagine in Japan.Follow one of your favorite Japanese bitcoin businesses ,you'd know.
2667  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Virtual Private Phone Numbers on: April 29, 2017, 08:08:49 AM
phone.com is the good services for virtual phone numbers as they are having lot of real look like numbers from around the world. But they are not accepting bitcoin payments as per I have checked with them.
Thanks.I'll check them out.

They are not charging per call nor per sms. We can change numbers as per our wish so that we can have more numbers. But familiar services like gmail verification might get failed as some numbers had already been used by other users.
That's the problem, most of the free numbers have already been used for a similar service.Anyway,I found TextMeNow they provided me with a free number.Working fine for now. Smiley
2668  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Virtual Private Phone Numbers on: April 29, 2017, 06:44:03 AM
Have you tried Dygits.io already? I believe they are still giving some free credits If you want to try them out (their thread are on this section). The countries that you could get a phone number from  are US/Canada/UK but more should come soon.
Yes I just dropped a message in their thread. However, they charge per sms that you receive which is bad and expensive.I'm waiting for them to get back to me.
2669  Economy / Services / Re: || Dygits.io || Bitcoin VoIP service [FREE trial] on: April 29, 2017, 06:32:27 AM
-> Since I'm in a situation,I think your project can help
1.I want an Virtual Phone number just to receive SMS.
2.I want to be anonymous.Signing up details are fine.
3.Does your app charges for every sms that I receive ?
4.How many numbers can I get for 1 account ?
2670  Economy / Services / [WTB] Virtual Private Phone Numbers on: April 29, 2017, 06:13:47 AM
I'm looking for a service which offers either free Virtual Private Phone Numbers (Any  country) or paid Personal Virtual Numbers.Of course Payment options should be bitcoins.I know I can use disposable online numbers for SMS verifications but I don't want that.
Please help me out with leads if you guys know any or if you provide this type of service, link me to your website. Thanks
2671  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Victim of BTC scammer - please help !! on: April 29, 2017, 06:07:20 AM
Hello guys,

It's already 2 months ago my bank froze my account because of suspicious activity. I wanted to show them evidence of BTC transaction, IDs of the guy I was buying BTC and all documents according to this transaction but bank didn't want to see anything from me. They just told me I have to wait for the letter, my account is under the investigation etc.
What was the suspicious activity ? Do you mind elaborating on that ?

After 2 months of waiting, I have finally got information from the bank that guy who bought the BTC from me was a scammer. Lady from the bank told me that the scammer has stolen the money from some other victim account and hence the money I got from scammer have been returned back to victim's bank account.
That's messed up.Either way,you could tell the Bank that it isn't your concern since you have traded goods with them and you want your money ?

The lady also told me the bank sent me two letters but I have never received any of them ... the letters have been sent 2 months ago ...
You could argue.Don't give up.Be ready to take legal actions or just tell them you will.
2672  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How Yobit exchange work ? on: April 29, 2017, 05:18:39 AM
is that exchange between users or the site do the exchange ?
is that like local bitcoins ?
->Site never does any exchanges. It just provides the platform for doing exchanges.Having said that, sites like YoBit do control the flow of coins and trading volumes so they could manipulate the rates however the want to.
->Localbitcoins is completely based off p2p process. They don't control anything.
2673  Economy / Reputation / Re: Thank Patatas or whatever for this... names not important enough to remember on: April 28, 2017, 08:53:07 AM

2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ETC dice game? on: April 28, 2017, 08:41:17 AM
Hello,

What gambling sites with dice game accepts ETC?
I can find only ETH dice sites but not ETC

Do you know one?

Try to find a gambling site that uses shapeshift or something which allows to instantly convert your ETC to whatever currency they accept and let you play. You can withdraw the coins back in the same way and convert it to ETC.As long as your actual question, not that I've come across any sites yet.
2675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants these Bitcoin scaling wars to end? on: April 28, 2017, 08:34:12 AM

Patatas, please respect the OP's request and take your mudslinging elsewhere. Such comments are not welcome here.
Out of all the comments posted above, you only think my comment instigates things ? I don't think so.
This is merely a discussion/argument.I didn't even hate your idols (if you worship the members mentioned above). All I tried to portray is we should stop bragging about it and find the solution by 'actually coding things' over 'endless arguments'.I'm out.
2676  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: We need a loan of 3 BTC on: April 28, 2017, 08:29:40 AM
Guys, who can help?
I can provide a passport and a receipt for a loan.
All contact information about me.
And I will return everything on the agreed date!
If I'm located in Madagascar and gave you 3 bitcoins, what makes you think I can do anything with your personal information ? I can't use your passport to fly to anther country right ? Do you think I'll spend 5 bitcoins to fly down to your place and sue you in your country where there is no such thing as bitcoin laws ?You know people would want something that can be sold while sitting in Madagascar. That's how digital loans work.

Quoted for future reference
Not sure what you're referring to but you look like another farmed account made for shit posting in the lending sections.
2677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants these Bitcoin scaling wars to end? on: April 28, 2017, 08:23:58 AM
The only way to end the war and move on is by getting one of the proposals activated. Even though, I doubt people will use Bitcoin Unlimited with all the scandals that appeared in the last a few weeks. As for the personal attacks, I believe that Jihan, Roger ver and others are getting them just because of they trying to achieve some personal interest which you mentioned.
In my humble opinion,
 ->Fuck Roger Ver'
 ->Fuck Jihan
 ->Fuck Bitcoin Unlimited
Why are we even letting a few fuck-heads decide the future of bitcoin ? Give  control back to the  developers, let them do what's best. Also I'm tired of waiting forever for the transactions to confirm.
2678  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Use Coinbase as a mixer? on: April 28, 2017, 08:19:48 AM

Using Coinbase as a mixer is perhaps the least reliable alternative to anonymising transactions. After a certain transaction, Coinbase will ask you to provide them with ID verification and answer what type of transactions you're sending and receiving if you wanted to keep your account.
To simplyfy it further, they'd want to control what you can do with your bitcoins. The moment they find out something is against their policies, they'd call the FBI and give out your details and take control of your bicoins by locking your wallets.

Coinbase is NOT a privacy friendly service and their attempts to be in full compliance could have your transaction data shared with authorities (based on terms you agree upon when signing up).
Exactly!

TL;DR: If regarded as one, Coinbase is perhaps the worst coin mixerout there.
Coinbase is the worst thing ever happened to bitcoin.
2679  Other / Archival / Re: Do you agree with idea "Bitcoin bank" ? on: April 28, 2017, 08:07:59 AM
Do you suggest a tax on wealth or what?
Suggest ? Isn't that''s what happens in the real world ? I mean, you could be all rich you want but if do need to pay taxes for every asset you have owned in terms if property/Fixed Deposits.

Why should some people pay taxes just because they have more bitcoins than the rest of the pack? I don't think that these people will agree to that and are going to pay such taxes anyway. In fact, some governments (e.g. that of France) actually levy similar taxes (the so-called wealth tax) but it only contributed to capital flight as well as people ceding their citizenship and moving to countries with more loyal and "user-friendly" tax systems
Because,Government can only harness more money from the Rich and not the Poor.Isn't it obvious ? On the brighter side, corruption makes it even worse, rich end up hiding their monies and poor are knee deep in taxes.
2680  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitcoinGet - Earn bitcoin with surveys, tasks, and videos on: April 28, 2017, 07:56:12 AM
We've added a new survey platform with HIGH payouts. Would love to get some feedback.
I need some explanation before i make an account on the website.
->Is the site available to traffic from all the countries ?
->What is the minimum payout per add ? Basically I don't want to earn a few satoshi's that can be leeched from the faucets for too much efforts.
->What is the maximum amount of coins can be made per month?
