1701  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for PROFESSIONAL website designer [Budget ~1k$] on: March 09, 2018, 07:33:58 PM
Designer as in someone good with Photoshop/Wireframes or someone who can write HTML/CSS from the Photoshop files ? You might as well want to specify that.Shoot me a PM if you have the designs ready and would like to put everything together using JavaScript (Front-End Developer here).

If you only need the design part, don't hesitate to message me as I will hook you up with someone I have previously worked with.
1702  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Gambling and online casinos sites list on: March 09, 2018, 07:28:37 PM
Hello guys,

some time ago this project was created - List of Bitcoin Casinos. Me and my team member listed and reviewed some of top bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies) casinos. I know, there are some affiliate links provided, but that's why most of the people do projects like this.
We're trying to make it better and more convenient for users to filter top casinos and gambling sites.
BitStarz definitely doesn't deserve to be there ! Don't make it so obvious that people can easily make out you're shilling for them or that rating is a paid advert. How obvious can it be ? The more serious problem is,your website shows all the listed websites are legal in my country (with that little country flag under the name).Miss-information right there!Online gambling is not legal in my country and people may fall in trouble if they follow your advice.
1703  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: ❤️ CryptoHackers ❤️ — Inspiring Stories of Blockchain Startups on: March 09, 2018, 04:09:49 PM
That's an interesting concept but the people or the ideas featured as for  now aren't really something that needs a wider audience.I mean do you have any standards for one to get featured on your website ? For instance, story of a dude named Hari doesn't impress me at all,he isn't really doing something great that we are not already aware of.

Maybe you should get some content that would interest people.
1704  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Case against Stocks.exchange. How they stole my coins on: March 09, 2018, 11:33:26 AM
I think you were Phished, I am a reputed member of ethereum stack exchange. I have helped too many people there. The site is stack exchange not stock exchange.
Its bad that people are using such a great community name to smash the scam.
Dude you serious ? lol You're a solidity developer and you didn't recognise the difference between https://stocks.exchange/login and https://ethereum.stackexchange.com/ ? One is an exchange ,later is a sub-division of stack-overflow community.
Moreover,if you think of it,how would one get scammed on stack-exchange ?  Undecided

OP - When people suggest to not store coins on exchanges, you don't follow it.Start following.
1705  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 09, 2018, 11:01:27 AM
I know signature campagns exists on this forum for very log time . I was wondering , do they really help to promote ICO , i know they spend a lot of money to pay bitcointalk members to wear their singatures and make posts . Do they really make profit out of this ?
No,no all the ICO's pay a lot of money for signature promotion. Most of the ICO campaigns are paid in shitcoin tokens which aren't valuable at the time they're distributed. Also the price is really unpredictable so the values promised are hypothetical.Very few signature campaigns choose to pay in bitcoins and they're very effective.

Note : Success of your ICO is not determined by how effective your signature campaign was.

IF we do try to see how many ICO's now are offering signature campaigns then we will able to say that this is really helpful and it does really contribute for a certain project to achieve its success. Its one way of the most popular when it comes on promoting and ICO since we know that this forum do have the best crypto traffic which means potential investors are circling into this forum. If they aren't effective then they might gone for long time and cant see any signature on here.
Doesn't make sense.Having a crypto-traffic doesn't redirect them automatically to your signature links unless of course the one carrying signature intrigues them to.
1706  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: spectro.space - A CryptoCoin Analyzer with Spectrograms. on: March 08, 2018, 07:43:00 PM
Very nice!
I like the entire design, theme and how you have matched the other static content on the website with keeping Spectrogram as a niche in mind.Addition of sliders to set custom filters was again a beautiful job coding wise. The graph plugin used could have been a little better ,it would nicer if  they had zoom-in feature.
1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tell about Bitcoin gambling site and your opinion & experience on: March 08, 2018, 05:55:42 PM
Would you share your opinion about bitcoin gambling website

& Which is the best on your choice?

Share your best and worst experience about bitcoin gambling.
There are 100 other threads which are dedicated to the same purpose as this one.It would be great if you can just lock this thread and dig deeper for those threads.Everyone would applaud the websites they have in their signature as "the best" one which is not true in all the cases.

Crypto-games.net
PrimceDice
BitDice
are a few good names that have been around for a while.Crypto-games.net provides the best gambling experience and accepts a variety of alt-coins. (At this point you may want to click the link in my signature)

Websites to avoid (based on personal experience)
betcoin.ag
luckygames.io
bitcasinio.io
vegascasino.io
1708  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to change mnemonic for recovery of Electrum wallet? on: March 08, 2018, 05:38:53 PM
It appears that many replies to my post suggest that I make a new wallet. OK, I shall make a new wallet with extended seed feature.
Make a new wallet with a different seed and not to be mistaken for importing the compromised seed.

Yes, I do remember my current wallet seed. I have it written on a piece of paper but one of my relatives has seen it. It means that my wallet may be compromised.
It depends how technical is your relative or do they even know about bitcoins for that matter.Either way,it's compromised and you must secure your coins.

A question arises: how do I avoid paying transaction fees when sending bitcoins from my old wallet to the new one? I find it ridiculous that I should pay the bitcoin network to transfer my own money from one wallet to another.
I don't think you understand how bitcoin works. You're not importing bitcoins from one wallet to another but generating a new one without having to import the compromised one.Regardless, you will have to pay transaction fees since you're sending money from one wallet to another.
1709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to change mnemonic for recovery of Electrum wallet? on: March 08, 2018, 09:54:49 AM
I created my Electrum wallet a few months ago and at the time of creation, I jotted down on a piece of paper the mnemonic for the recovery of my wallet.

The mnemonic consists of twelve words and I just wish to change two or three of them.

Could someone please show me how to make the changes without losing my funds and the record of transactions? I am using version 3.1.0 of Electrum.
Why would you want to change your words ? Do you think your seed could be sacrificed ? That phrase is associated with your private keys and address generation and altering it will restrict your access from the wallet. The seed phrase is hashed during seed generation, altering the values will mismatch the root hash and wouldn't recognise your wallet.

For now,you can't come up with your own seed as far as I know.If you're interested in the math behind seed generation, here you go : http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/seedphrase.html#seed-generation
1710  Economy / Services / Re: Reward (20k) for filming an anonymous video of mining farm on: March 03, 2018, 09:43:21 AM
Why does it have to anonymous ? Pretty sure the mining farm will be operated legally on the land it’s mounted on.How come one wouldn’t expose his ownership if he’s running a mining farm ? What would you do with the video anyway ? Maybe your objective will make it more obvious as in why you are doing wanting to do this anonymously ?
1711  Economy / Lending / Re: how genuine is ICO Lending why have companies faltered and closed shop on: March 03, 2018, 08:06:29 AM
All of these sites you listed I heard about two weeks ago being ethconnect/neoconnect and they folded already?
This just goes to show you that cryptolending platforms do not work.
Not when your end customers are money thirsty customers from the third world countries who don't intend to pay back loans.

As soon as bitconnect died being the first big one to gain a very large following then came davor coin you just knew it was going to scam all their lenders.
It was seen just because they came out with a similar model as bitconnect and I think from what I remember it was created by the early investors from bitconnect if I am not mistaken.
So that right there should of told those people who invested that these guys were up to no good.
Bitconnect was a Ponzi since day 1.Anyone who didn't realise it fell for the scam and then should have no regrets as community had warned them which was taken very lightly. It's not the company's fault,it's the idiots who fall for anything around here.

Now the major promotors are going to court for bitconnect.
Maybe they were just doing a last call to get enough money to cover their lawyers fees. Lips sealed
The case isn't going anywhere last I checked.
1712  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for people to work as Brand Managers for some languages on: March 03, 2018, 07:57:37 AM
Do you mind listing out the languages you are looking the brand managers for ? How many hours do you expect to be given for the job per week ? Is photoshop a mandatory requirement ? Could it be done using paint or other similar tools ?
I think I can be a perfect fit for a 'xyz' language but due to system constraints  I can't access photoshop. (A CentOs user here)
1713  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Let's create an open source project about automated coffee machines on: March 03, 2018, 07:12:33 AM
Hi, I am working with IOT and i am very exited about how cryptocurrences can can be used with IOT and I was thinking if anyone wanted to help creating a automated coffee machine. The basic fuctions of the machine could be:
Coffee machine or IOT in general do need bit of an investment to buy sensors/vending machine/other hardware. Are you ready to take those expenses on you ?

1.get pait with a cryptocurrency (may be eos for example) and make me a coffee
2.If the water is finished or the coffee pay anyone who refill it
What is your opinion?
who wants to learn by doing something creative?
1. Why ? How does that make your coffee anything but special ? What ease of use does the blockchain provides here ?
 2. In case of an IOT,a sensor architecture or a robot in layman's terms will do it.Again what role does blockchain play here ?
 3. Not me as the idea is just absurd as it is.
1714  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▰▰▰ LUCKYGAMES.IO ▰▰▰ ✅ 5 Awesome Games ✅ 49 Cryptocurrencies ✅ Daily Contests on: March 03, 2018, 07:02:33 AM
All I can see is the website being pumped multiple times a day with some newbie accounts who aren't posting anything constructive but shilling by bumping posts.Such behaviour is not encouraged on the forum especially if alt accounts are talking to each other.

@OP,please stop it or I'll be obliged to open a accusation for not obeying bumping rules and using newbie accounts to pump the thread.
1715  Other / Archival / Re: Merit abuse. Bounty abuse. Giveaway cheating. Trust abuse. on: March 03, 2018, 05:31:01 AM
By far,it is proved Bounty campaigns are the farming grounds for merit cheaters and account farmers. After taking an initiative to clean up the regular boards, measures should be taken to put restrictions on the bounty campaigns.

The simplest solution I can think of is ,disable the merit sending feature for a few boards like Bounties,Off-topic threads. This can reduce the merit shilling to a certain extent.
1716  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Electroneum [ETN] Holders, What is your take? on: March 03, 2018, 05:20:39 AM
Hi,
You have to be more patient.
Next week, ETN staff will be at Mobile World Congress: https://electroneum.com/2018/02/02/electroneum-to-exhibit-at-the-mobile-world-congress/.

Depending on news, the coins could pump.
I don't think you understand how any of this works.Your reasoning is vague and absurd. The event cannot make the value of a coin increase genuinely  but indeed pumpers will take this opportunity to  pump the prices and this is how it works 90% of the time when an external event is considered.

I bought ETN post ICO and more than 1k sats. I then added some from the dip for 400 sats to increase my average, I think I'm in the positive now with my ETN holdings. Waiting for Mobile World Congress and Kucoin listing. Binance/Bittrex listing would be an icing on the cake but I'm still happy with ETN.
Binance won't be listing such coins soon.Bittrex is too rich to give two shits about a low graded coin.
1717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in Bitcoin Diamond BCD? on: March 03, 2018, 05:16:47 AM
BCD this time trading prices are very different in each website. I know that BCD has no official wallet and can not withdraw. But is that okay? Should I invest at this time?
Recently,I came across a thread where the price of this coin was so drastically different on different exchanges that it made it look worthless. For instance,it was traded at Binance @ $49 and @Gate.io @$9.Those figures don't look statistically correct and I don't know what to make of it.Since the fork, coin has been dumped hard.Only the one's who got their free BCD were lucky enough to get some money if they didn't hold for long.
1718  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Pundix bounty - the best scam ICO of the year on: March 03, 2018, 05:10:50 AM
I'm on behalf of bounty hunters on bitcointalk. I want to expose all of Pundix team, manager for cheating on us so many times.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2216833.0
lol we literally give two shits about the bounty hunters on bitcointalk,You are bunch of low ley spammers on the forum that we need to get rid off.

The first time they promised us to deliver bounty before Lunar new year which was 16/2/2018. After that they made some mistakes and told us to deliver during February. Lastly they changed the date of distribution to 1/3/2018. But till now they don't deliver anything.
More information can be found on Telegram group
I look at it this way,
 - Was the bounty escrowed ? No
 - Was the team reputed to trust them ? No
 - Did anyone force you to join the bounty ? No
 - You were taking a risk by working for someone who didn't guarantee any payments ? Yes

1719  Economy / Reputation / Re: This thread's page is really suspicious. on: March 03, 2018, 05:03:24 AM
I don't know if this is just a coincidence but this is really something. Newbies straightly posting in this thread page with less than a minute intervals. Can anyone check this thread?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2095908.1900
I don't think we should be bothered. They can post however they like but account farming won't just be possible since those posts aren't meritted and don't think they will be.I could consider it suspicious but since it isn't an ANN or any particular service thread,it's just an failed attempt at account farming.
1720  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Best Recommended Book on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2018, 07:51:56 PM
I don't remember when but Diginomics had a free ebook giveaway on the forum.I remember subscribing to their content and receiving a free e-book which had detailed stuff.I should check my mails if it is still there.Otherwise you can always access it through their website along with video courses https://www.diginomics.com/

Ideally, google should give you answers for all those points above but no harm in getting views from the community members.
