1801  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the best way to create a new crypto currency? on: February 09, 2018, 07:34:02 PM
1)  Are some platforms better or more trustworthy for creating new crypto currencies?  Any recommendations?
No,there isn't such thing as 'trustworthy'.Depending on what you have to do with your project, you can choose to Fork an existing project, clone an existing project and make changes in their algos or use frameworks like Lisk/Waves/Ethereum to create smart contracts. This also depends on the developers you will find for the team.

2)  I want this currency to have a fixed circulating supply.  Does this mean that my coin should not be mineable?  (I don't really know how mining works).  Any recommendations?
You need to study a lot more basics about cryptos in general,my comment here wouldn't help you understand all of it.

3)  My coin will mainly function as a currency.  I was going to use the ETH20 protocol because hardware wallets seem to easily support it.  Would there be any advantage to using a different protocol?
Do you understand protocols ? What is your project ? It is too early to advise you on anything. Please read more about stuff.

4)  I'd like to eventually get listed on Bittrex, Poloniex, etc.  Does this mean I need to avoid certain coin creation platforms?  Any recommendations?
Thanks!
Nope.Only thing I can recommend is,use google to know everything that's been asked for.
1802  Economy / Reputation / Re: I Got hacked?? Someone used my all sMerit on: February 09, 2018, 06:34:07 PM
This is to be expected. I am also worried about my account. Maybe with the introduction of merit it would also be necessary to strengthen the protection against hacking an account? For example 2fa ?!

I agree on this part because of a lot of hackers involved in this forums. No security available at all here and account recovering takes lot of time. I hope something will be invented for the future so hacking will not happen again.
It would be pointless for hackers to hack an account "just to steal the merits".Merit history will clearly show if the merits were sent to an account which original account owner didn't intend to.Hence, the hacker will end up getting his accounts tagged.
If you're scared your accounts will get hacked for merits,I wonder how safe your online banking credentials are.Grow up,set strong passwords.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Fairgrounds | Ethereum Gambling | Live Now | Raffle Roulette Lottery & More on: February 09, 2018, 06:26:48 PM
Fairgrounds is an Ethereum blockchain based gambling site.  There are instant payouts, and no signups are required. We're provably fair, with all gaming done on the blockchain and contracts verified on etherscan.
Did you forget to mention that this just isn't a regular gambling website but also has an ICO and a white-paper ? The website looks nice but ICO options definitely needs a better UI/UX.

We've just launched with our first game Raffle: A winner takes all game.  Players purchase tickets, and when a target number of tickets is reached, a random number is generated via Oraclize, and a winning ticket is drawn.
Unable to locate the 'Provable Fair' lottery option. The game is on-chain,how are you guys picking up the raffle winners ? Oraclize doesn't explain much and I believe you should have something in-house since you will be issuing your own tokens and stuff.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earning on your Altcoins on: February 08, 2018, 08:10:23 PM
Hi,
I am looking for most secured exchange to transfer my BTC, ETH & LTC to earn some interest by funding it , Leaving coins in cold storage does not earn anything on it
It doesn't have to earn anything, the fact that it is safe from exchanges and the dropping prices is valuable in the long run.Why do you want to throw them on an exchange and allow it to lose their value by trading/selling.Of course it depends on which coins you're holding.

Can you suggest which exchange is more reliable & can be trusted to leave coin for long term in order to earn some interest
Go for an exchange that is located in your country.Even  better if they have a physical office.Random exchanges on the internet are going to steal your money with excuses like KYC and other bullshit.
1805  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Etheris Wallet - The first API on: February 08, 2018, 08:03:41 PM
Etheris service, operating in the Beta testing mode, has demonstrated reliable and safe operation to all users. The development team has responsibly approached the product implementation and we are pleased to announce the full launch of the service for storage and transfer of the ETHER cryptocurrency.
The company's management decided to rename Etheris to CoinKeeper. This move will bring the company to a new level of development and attract the attention of new customers. We are open for your wishes and questions 24/7.

Best wishes,
CoinKeeper team

Stop rambling on forever.Try to address the questions asked by someone in the previous posts,
 - Does your product's code exhibit on github yet ?
 - What is coinkeeper.io ?
 - The website has shit tons of bugs in the given condition it is at the moment.I don't think this is well planned and executed properly.I smell scam.

Warning : I do not recommend using this service.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: please help me seriously to leave gambling ???? on: February 08, 2018, 07:42:40 PM
Today i realised i am in huge huge trouble due to gambling...i just kept loosing amount in gambling quickly...decided many times to leave gambling but never happened....today i counted that i have lost almost 10 bitcoins in gambling in last 1-2 years and the amount i loose is going to keep on increasing...
i just tried to do every thing but nothing is quiet working...what ever i earn i dont know what to do with them and in some time i loose them again...
i am realising i am in big trouble, already in huge loss what to do... Embarrassed
You need to take bath in an Indian river to get rid of your previous sins and begin a new life. Wink Hope you understand what I'm referring to.I wonder what websites you would have lost 10 bitcoins without making any profits ? Even my dogs have better luck than that.
The problem is not your gambling habit,it is the website that is sucking money out of you.Change the ball, not the game Wink
1807  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We're bulding an exchange! on: February 08, 2018, 07:34:21 PM
We're in the process of building an exchange from garlicoin to bitcoin. It'll be a bit more p2p - much closer to localbitcoins than binance for example.
It can never be fully p2p,that would only led the traders to scams and con-artists.There has to be a certain level of centralisation over the trades to maintain the integrity and security of an exchange.

What you look for in an exchange? Have you any ideas on how we can make this successful? Our intention is to provide options to the market. We expect to roll out to other new altcoins if it goes well.
- Great customer support.Write that in big bold words in your development room, your developers are of no use if you can't hire a GREAT support team.
 - Less service fees and obviously not ripping off money in form of 'this' or that fees.
 - To stand out from the existing services, you need to be extremely customer focused.
 - As an exchange, you strive to make a traders life easier and not stress him with unwanted support emails.
1808  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to get best rate for your coins in Australia (melbourne area)? on: February 08, 2018, 07:20:13 PM
As Australia is quite bitcoin friendly nation there are several options to exchange bitcoin for fiat. But what could be best way to sell your coins there? There are several bitcoin meetups for trades, will that be best option or bitcoin ATM will give you best rate.
If you would like to be a bit anonymous and stay away from the fraudsters/risky trades, doing it online would be much more reliable than meeting up someone personally. It saves your time as well. You can use escrow to do p2p trades on the forum or go for exchanges if they have any fiat conversation feature. Not sure how bitcoin ATM gives you best rate but if that is also an option,go for it.

Finding someone through localbitcoin will be safe enough?
Yes and No.Localbitcoin accounts are sold on the forum so you can never be sure if you're dealing with the right person behind the screen.LBC's online trade is much better since they use escrow and everything.
1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin take over the world and drive most of the commerce worldwide? on: February 08, 2018, 07:09:01 PM
Do you believe that take over the world?
Do you believe that Bitcoin will drive most of the world's commerce?
No.I don't mean to sound like an anti-bitcoin protester but the governments will never allow something like bitcoin to take over their economy. What more can you do if all the world's governments decide to put a ban on the usage of cryptos ? They wouldn't exist. The market will be too small for anonymously operated currencies.

Silicon Valley legendary venture capitalist Tim Draper certainly thinks so and talks about it in the latest interview in Forbes Magazine.

I certainly agree with Draper, why anyone would want to go back to fiat when crypto is distributed, secure and global, while fiat is subject to the whims of political forces.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/nathanvardi/2018/02/07/silicon-valley-legend-tim-draper-bitcoin-and-crypto-will-take-over-the-world/
Because Taxes.Never heard anybody paying taxes on their amounts earned from crypto. If it continues, government will put a stop to it at some point because they wouldn't be able to drive economies without taxes.Crypto is just a small part of the revolution, you need mass adoption to shake the government policies.
1810  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to remove negative trust? (from Hilariousandco) on: February 07, 2018, 07:25:45 PM
I have not scammed anybody or did something similar. Why can I not be trusted? Why trade with extreme caution?
*You can't be trusted by Hilariousandco and everybody who follows his trust list - FTFY (not exactly but that's how it works ,you're free to trade with people using an escrow anyway)

What can I do more to recover my trust?
1.Get hilariousandco removed from the trust-list by requesting to the person that added them to the list.
2.Like said over 100 times ,wait for the day hilariousandco responds.

Pretty sure you don't want to go with the 1st option and second options just isn't working out for you.
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not make a token for online games? on: February 07, 2018, 07:17:02 PM
Not a bad Idea if you were able to get a few major game company on the hook to spread it across multiple games.
The point is,no major companies want to get their businesses replaced by cryptos just yet.

This idea just came to my mind while playing an online MMO, it might make no sense, but it's something that I'd like to see in my life time.
I'm just throwing an idea here, hopefully discussion can shape it better, and finally someone with enough skill will be able to realize it for all the gamers.

The topic is discussed several times in the same section.People also came up with blueprints that would support the idea but the end consumer market isn't as open minded as you think. This is also a good time to establish the roots which will form the base for future developers.

Crowdfunding is not new in the game biz. But the problem with a token for a game is - the game gonna be old in few years - what about the tokens? Did they loose value with less interest in the game?
Yes they would.Less players == Less usage of the tokens == Drop in the market price of the tokens.
1812  Economy / Reputation / Re: THREAD USING BUMP SERVICES on: February 01, 2018, 11:14:29 PM
This guy came to talk with me in telegram offering this so called "bumping threads services" because I am part of a team in a new ICO and I tried to take something from him. This is what he said to me. It's in my Telegram and his user is @michael500650.
He said me he worked at this Litra Coin project: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2145201.0
The said project already has on-going discussions in their thread about the scammy ways they have adopted. And yes taking this post into consideration https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2145201.msg27073561#msg27073561 (and others obviously) they did seem to have bumped their tread. Not sure if they did that using the same person that offered you the service. You could have played along a bit more and tried to get the accounts involved so it would have been easier to tag those accounts. For now, there isn't any information on the user on bitcointalk or the certainty of their services.
1813  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Eyes in the Sky — Millions of Civilian Drones hovering over Flashpoints on: February 01, 2018, 11:06:49 PM
Imagine a Blockchain platform/app/website where Surveillance videos are regularly uploaded by Civilians from every part in the World. I think such platform is greatly needed and will be frequented by Journalists, the Media, Investigators, Courts, Police, etc for evidences and useful information.
And why would 'civilians' do that ? Moreover,I failed to understand what is the point of the project ? Your first line should have highlighted it.

Such platform will be specifically made for Drone owners who wish to earn good amount cryptocurrency by flying drones over Flashpoints.
Such Flashpoints can be: Protest zones, ongoing robbery/crime scenes, locations of natural disasters, chaotic traffic locations, hideout for criminals, crowded locations, election spots... etc..
Anyone with a drone can earn by simply going through the Platform/website and search for Flashpoints he/she wishes to visit and film. Flashpoints will be regularly updated & identified with red dots. Newly identified Flashpoints would will be worth lots of coins for potential flyers depending on the location. I would recommend a minimum of $100/hr for every Flashpoint.
Videos from flashpoints could be directly streamed or uploaded later to the site. The value of each videos will depend on the importance of a Flashpoint. All videos deserve good reward though considering how expensive Drones are, the cost of flying them and their risk of being shot down
So this is more like a 'Worldstar-HipHop' platform but for drones and awareness in general. It will be a good way of bringing recorded coverage to notice for the general crowed which media prohibits.People can actually watch the stuff happened instead of relying on the media generated fake news. The risk's of person being shot-down at the crime scene is more probable than their drones being shot down.

Drones with night vision cameras should get more rewards. Infact I would recommend a bigger reward for night flyers.
Using drones have restrictions and the rules are country specific.Your platform goes down if someone records the information which they're not supposed to and leaks it online. For instance,Nuclear Project of country.

1814  Economy / Gambling / Re: ☛☛ A new bitcoin game (URNBET) ☚☚ on: February 01, 2018, 10:55:06 PM
1.The game layouts and basically the entire site is very plain to be released.I mean you could have taken time out to customise the default BootStrap layouts.

2. Why does your Free Play option needs one to sign up ? Turn off for first time users who wish to try out the game. You should know if you're launching something which seems alien to regular casino games, you should allow a free play where people can see what the game is and how it works without having to sign-up.

3.'4 keys in 36 cells' don't explain much.I need to know how much are the amounts that can be deposited and what's the potential win ratio if the keys are found.
1815  Economy / Reputation / Re: How to remove negative trust? (from Hilariousandco) on: February 01, 2018, 10:44:35 PM
I was searching today few hours in forum threads for help. I thought that there is somebody dealing with trust problems. I don't know moderator or a thread where you can add your case for consideration but I found nothing only more questions.
There ain't such authority which deals with trust problems except the person who gave you the negative trust and the one who added that person to the Default Trust.

That is why I am here to ask more experienced users what can I do more?
Wait for hilariousandco to respond and see what they have to say.No one controls when they would respond ,from my experience ,bothering them with multiple PM's and off-topic seeking attention doesn't help.

Quote
I don't want to argue if Hilariousandco was right or not because this will bring nothing good.
That is what determines if the trust given to you is valid or should hilariousandco revise it based on the community feedback.Personally,I don't think they should.
1816  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cryptolottery - your Lottery in open blockchain on: February 01, 2018, 10:36:49 PM
A few more questions that needs to be highlighted in the main post,

- How is the risk level calculated ? Who calculates the risk level ?
- There is no information on how the lottery is drawn or winner are selected.
- Web mining tool sounds interesting considering this isn't a regular PoS/PoW staked coin, might want to elaborate more there.
- Which on-chain coin you're going to fork your platform from ?
1817  Economy / Reputation / Re: ICO: VECTORZILLA Not to be taken seriously ~~Using services to Pump ANN on: January 26, 2018, 06:12:29 AM
OP is a professional "coin promoter"(aka ann bumper/shitposter), and all the replies seem to be written by one single person/organisation that repeats their agenda over and over again, just rephrasing it every single time.
There are multiple OP's in this case.Which one are you referring to ? I'm also an OP  Lips sealed

No matter how good an ICO looks like, if they are willing to use such unethical means of promotion to get an unfair advantage over their competitors, then they are going to be a project not looking at. It basically means "we cannot get attention elsewhere, so we can to pay for it".
From my experience,ICO founders or the marketing team is not aware if there is a rule that forbids using such pumping services. They're approached by service providers which give them false promises of giving more exposure to a wider audience hence they fall for it.
1818  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitsler support team has become more arrogant on: January 26, 2018, 12:00:19 AM
I'm playing on bitlser for more than year and admin always quite helpful in solving issues very polite manner.

But recently I noticed that he and his support team has become more arrogant in replying our issues. They didn't scam anything to me but noticed a different tone in their response. Is it due to they already gained sufficient trust from this community?

Did you also notice the same thing?
Maybe the admins changed ? I don't know if you're complaining or just sad that you don't feel special at the website anymore ? The logic is simple,if you're unhappy with their latest addition, either talk to the owner about it or move on.You can represent your concerns to @yahoo too.

I haven't play yet on bitsler but if things are this worse I think I will stay away from it specially after I discovered the 777coin casino when they have a proffesional team behind it doing only awesome things.
Why would you even care writing here if you don't know what's what ? And no that isn't a right way of promoting your signature.
1819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arsenal FC promoting cryptocurrency on: January 25, 2018, 11:56:20 PM
Pretty cool news. Football has such a wide audience, let's hope more clubs or companies will hop aboard.
It is not always a good news when a wide spread audience will be adapting to something which has shown a paradigm shift in the way finances work. Government too will hop on the bang wagon and implement the tax policies concerning crypto markets as soon as possible since they don't want to miss an opportunity to make money.
Arsenal Coin,ManU Coin sounds rad though!

Don't worry. No illegal or unmoral work. Hit me pm.
*Looking for a hacker* - Well that sounds unmoral as fuck ? No matter how legal the work is,even if you are stuffing a cookie on a website that you are not authorised to,it will be considered as illegal since you're not the rightful owner of the business.

In your case, you are wanting to dispatch a payload on a website which doesn't sound right unless you're the owner of the website.
