2741  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: 10 Highly Potential Accounts for Sale! Ownership Proved. on: April 22, 2015, 05:30:30 PM
Account #5 sold.

Where did you get the accounts from? Create them yourself or are they from defaulted loans? Can you gurantee the potential activity that you state? Thanks.

Bought accounts. I believe they will reach potential activity but I can't promise you.
2742  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What do you think about Piper Wallet? on: April 22, 2015, 05:01:20 PM
Looks cool. It's way too expensive. I would probably go for Ledger Blue(when it comes) or Trezor than spending ~$220 on this. I like the idea. So I may create one myself. Wink

Bitcointalk thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253975.0
Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/PiperWallet

Edit:

I think the price kills it: $229 USD or 0.9630 BTC

Look over here at Mycelium Entropy that you can use on printers that print from USB: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709936.0

I think the usb device for around .80 btc less is a better option if you have a comparable printer.  To me this wallet printer looks like a Raspberry Pi and small printer.  I would guess you could build your own that does same job for much much cheaper.

Mycelium Entropy is good for creating paper wallets. +1.

They have mentioned in their website that they are using Raspberry Pi. Tongue

2747  Economy / Services / Re: Chess Coach looking for new students to teach online lessons for $ BTC/ALT on: April 22, 2015, 03:09:11 PM
Thats a brilliant idea - teach people how play chess and receive btc for it.
But how can you prove your skills and that you are a professional chess player?

Check his ratings. http://www.chess.com/members/view/Snow_Lion

Sent him a PM via Chess.com to verify this is run by him.
2748  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: April 22, 2015, 03:05:03 PM
If I remember correctly, there is a settings on blockchain.info that allows you to redirect blockchain.info/wallets/(shortcut) to your complete wallet ID.

Yes. You can set alias in settings.

MultiHD is pretty cool. I think Bitcoin Core is supposed to support HD wallets too, but how to use it?

I don't think Bitcoin Core supports HD wallets but they support watch-only wallets. I might be wrong though.
2749  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PayPal to OKPAY - exchange? on: April 22, 2015, 02:51:43 PM
AFAIK it is better to Paypal -> Bank -> Okpay.

P.S. See https://www.okpay.com/en/catalog/exchangers.

I think I found an easier/better/faster way. I don't know about the fees though.

1) Buy Dogecoin with PayPal from weselldoges.com.
2) Buy Butcoin with Dogecoin from Bitin.io.
3) Deposit Bitcoin to your OKPay account.
It's much easier, that's sure (provided you're verified at WeSellDoges).
About the fees... I have the feeling it's going to be quite a bit higher Smiley

Yes. Verification details:

Level 1Level 2Level 3Level 3+
Email verification: Email us from the primary email address associated with your PayPal account for a daily purchase limit of ~$15.
In this email, please include the following information:
• Full name
• Location
• Primary interest in cryptocurrencies
• The amount you anticipate buying (per day, week, etc.).
ID Verification: Send us a scan or picture of a state-issued ID
alongside a written statement “WeSellCrypto Verification”
and your signature. Here is an example of what that might look like.
• This will entitle you to ~$150/day, subject to our discretion
• Our email server is hosted on a separate, offsite server to ensure your private information is kept private.
Two-piece ID Verification: Send us a scan or a picture of two pieces of ID alongside a written statement “WeSellCrypto Verification” and signature. Here is an example of what that might look like.
• This will entitle you to ~$250/day, subject to our discretion
If you require a limit higher than $250 per day, we can work with you on a case-by-case basis. This most often entails ID verification supplemented with a picture of you holding your ID. This helps us ensure that your submitted ID matches your true identity.

An estimate fee of 15% or less was charged when my friend bought Dogecoin. I think it isn't high. Similar fee is charged when trading in this forum.

BTW, you can also buy other altcoins:

• Reddcoin: wesellredd.com
• Darkcoin: weselldark.com
• Pandacoin: wesellpnd.com

P.S. Main website: wesellcrypto.com. If they add new coin, you can get the link from there.

2752  Other / Meta / Re: New Theme on: April 22, 2015, 01:07:24 PM
If theymos enable theme changing option in "Look and Layout Preferences", you might be able to change theme easily. I don't know if it was ever enabled and how it does, i.e. whether it is a drop-down list or an local/server upload option.

2753  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Antminer S3 on: April 22, 2015, 09:08:55 AM
Is fan frequency high and when it become silent, is it too hot?

I haven't used S3, so I don't know about it. Haven't you tried normal way of using ethernet? Connect when it is off and them switch on it?
2754  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: wallet software and confirmations on: April 22, 2015, 08:48:27 AM

Thanks for answering.
I will experiment with a few other wallets, I think required confirmations should be adjusted to spending amount.
3 confirmations waiting time can be very long when you are hungry ;-)

The required confirmations depend on the type of thing you buy/sell. For small payments 3 confirmations is fine. You wouldn't sell your car with one confirmation.

IMHO no. Number of confirmations required depends on the person who you deal with. Some people is fine proceeding with 1 confirmation, some wants 2, some wants 6 etc...  Some exchanges require Bitcoin deposit to have 6 confirmation, some only require 3 confirmations regardless of the amount.
2755  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $5000 to buy BTC's on: April 22, 2015, 08:33:02 AM
You can use Circle or Coinbase to buy Bitcoin using US dollar. AFAIK they are best exchanges for buying with USD.

There is no problem with grmining. It is quite normal for a ponzi to run/close sooner or later.
