1841  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info - Bitcoin Block explorer & Currency Statistics on: May 20, 2015, 01:20:55 PM
i dont get it, why when i search for an address or tx with the first 6 to 10 caracters, blockchain's search tool is always unable to find it?Huh

True. Blockchain.info and I think other explorers need all characters. Else, it can't. You may want to give goochain.net a try if you want to search address with first few characters.

Fnally, I'm not arguing with you, shorena. I'm just explaining the obvious: that having a gambling section on Bitcointalk is embarrassing enough, but having two gambling sections? Why, ffs?

1843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockchain transaction issue on: May 20, 2015, 12:59:17 PM
Your transaction bcc1c6efc8be8b9c68d9a...(tx-2) is using an unconfirmed UTXO from transaction 366a5ab796ccd468c9ea...(tx-1). tx-1 need to be confirmed first but I doubt because it is a zero-fee transaction. Once tx-1 is confirmed, tx-2 and e7d72458a8448bcef3afd...(tx-3) will be confirmed as their priority is good.

P.S. Link to tx-1 is https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/366a5ab796ccd468c9eae69a086658e032d3d9724f6c38576f65ed0876d6628b.

wait for activity change. 1 day later, post 20 valis posts. activity changes every hour + 5 minutes.

Activity is recalculated every 30 minutes AFAIK. The time points that are limiting your activity are only changing every 14 days.
 -snip-

30 minutes was changed to 1 hour.

Quote
Nevermind. I will leave you to your illusion that you can spam your way to higher activity levels.

you got me wrong my friend. i said i created another account just to try.
you can get 28 activity point in 1.5 days. want me to prove it again? just remind me 3 days before the next activity count. a pm would do.

what you have not noticed, when you get to 28 activity point in 1day or 2. just wait for the activity count, then post again. a few hours later you WILL be over 30 activity.

i can do it again in 5days. 3days before the next activity count just remind me about it. ill prove it again to you

you are using simples time machine. i had a forum myself on that theme. there are a few loopholes, but on bitcointalk.org, there is only this one i know about.

You probably posted 14 posts *before* new activity period starts and another 14 posts *in* new period. Anyway, I would like to see you getting 28 activity points in 1.5 days by posting in *one* period.
1846  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to sign a message?! on: May 20, 2015, 12:12:28 PM
Can somebody please explain to me how to sign message with Xapo wallet?

You can't. I highly recommend you to use a desktop(or mobile) wallet. If you want use an online wallet, use Blockchain.info. Other online wallets are insecure.

it was transactions from hot to multiple cold wallets... stop with the clueless FUD, don't know about you but i would not keep thousands of BTC on a single cold wallet, just proves that our Administration is smart and knows shit can happen, better to have a backup just in case.

Like others' said, this is not a good sign. They are making it hard to trace and it is possible that they used this money. Good luck, investors!

I agree with you. Private keys from adresses with a big amount on it are more likely found due to brute force attacks.

Brute force attacks? You must clearly understand it is not possible or only have 1% chance or less to find private key. What you said is not true. Please try spending some time for researching before you tell.
I know that finding a private key for an address is nearly impossible. But there is a small posibility. I won't store all my btc in one address... Because if the address has a balance of 10000BTC it's more likely that someone spends that time finding the key. Maybe he's lucky then. The work for small amounts isn't worth it...

Those transactions don't look like splitting funds to protect it.

If someone knows a way to make brute force attack against Bitcoin private keys possible, then they will attack small addresses too but it is nearly impossible.

Nothing is confirmed yet.. Neither that it is a ponzi nor that it's not.

They couldn't provide proof for their mining and hence they are ponzi.

In the end every investor has to make his own decisions.
I just wanted everybody to be informed what's going on, so you can bail out if this scares you - I did so yesterday.

I agree.
1848  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Low Hash Rate Issue? on: May 20, 2015, 09:07:43 AM
If you want to have a feeling of mining cryptocurrency and have a very tight budget, you can try mining other cryptocurrency (not Bitcoin) that have low difficulties. When you finally have confident that you will get a profit from mining, you should really buy one miner (scrypt based, so no Bitcoin) from ZeusMiner. Do also check Amazon for some cheap ASIC miner.

Didn't get you. You are suggesting someone who have tight budget to mine worthless coins to pay electricity cost for nothing? Isn't it better to mine Bitcoin because all of the good altcoins have high difficulty? At least, we can get a few satoshis to play around.

Why wouldn't they use some of the money for withdraws?  Not everything withdrawn is from mining.    I have pretty much zeroed out my accounts with withdraws twice.   Many have withdrawn what they also deposited.

That can also happen. I just said those transactions are sketchy. After all, ponzis can't live for long.

1851  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet for presentation purposes - fast & easy to set up on: May 20, 2015, 08:35:14 AM
Try bitWallet. I recommend only to trust small amounts with the wallet I am suggesting. It is *no* open spurce and didn't came from a know developer. Just for denonstration purpose only.
1852  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BIT-X.com | Bitcoin Debit Card | Spend Your Bitcoins Anywhere! on: May 20, 2015, 08:28:25 AM
Did BIT-X lower ATM withdrawal fee to 0.01BTC?

Used the BIT-X Bitcoin Debit MasterCard to withdraw $160 from the local ATM. These are the charges:

Fiat from ATM: BTC0.701
BIT-X COMMISSION: BTC0.01
Master Card Commission: BTC0.02103
Total: BTC0.73203

Overall, quite satisfied with the services. Will definitely use again.  Grin

Isn't BIT-X ATM commission 0.02BTC? Did they lower ATM withdrawal fee?

BTW, don't forget monthly inactive fee.

Not sure about that. This is the transaction summary which is coming in my profile page. Yeah.... the monthly inactive fee (0.6 Bitcoin per year) is a big headache. But I am going to use this card for at least a few months. Can't trust Localbitcoins after all the recent scandals. I need a second option to convert my coins to fiat.

That's weird. Let me ask Marco about that.

Have you tried AdvCash or e-coin.io?
1854  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-X Debit MasterCard on: May 20, 2015, 07:00:44 AM
I don't have any experience but their fees are high IMHO.

Well that's how they make their money but its also the reason I wouldn't want one. If I could find one with cheaper fees it'd be awesome but it just seems like wasting money having one of these at the moment.

Try AdvCash. It's a prepaid card but it is worth buying. There is no much different between prepaid card and debit card.

I have just created account on Advcash.  But I am not able to find page, how to order the physical Prepaid Card.    please guide me to order Card from Advcash.

You can see 'create card' or something in left side. Click it and finish the process. Please continue discussion on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1011381.0.

Create a new coin like XPY. You can see a high increase in price. Roll Eyes

OMG has quickseller actually been removed from default trust?

The masses of scammers and would be, could be's, and those just under speculation must be celebrating in the streets.

I can't say I disagree with the move but it is an interesting turn of events.

I agree but QS may need to be slow when leaving feedback. He is a good scambuster and I think he still can by posting evidences in Scam Accusations and someone else may leave negative feedback.

P.S. Looks like my rating is red. Grin
