I recommend S3.

Electricity costs depends on where you live.
2502  Other / Meta / Re: questions on: May 03, 2015, 08:14:12 AM
What if my post farther from my activities and when 2 weeks I rarely do post whether to keep increasing my activity?

If your post count is higher than activity, those points can be taken by making less than 14 posts in 14 days period but this isn't necessary. There is no effect if your posts > activity.

Ty for the first correction! I didn't knew that it was changed!
For the second correction, it increases 1 per day and shows up when its 14 days as I said in 3 Smiley

Anytime. That is not correct. It increases 14 per day, not 1 per day and showing up when it is 14 days. You should understand the difference between saying "I get $3000 per month" and "I get $100 per day" even though the amount you get monthly in both cases is same.
2503  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.0 release on: May 03, 2015, 08:01:24 AM
@Muhammed: How did you compile it under Windows? Can you help me?

I am away from my PC, so I can't tell which all dependencies are needed. If a dependency is not installed, it will show when compiling. Download it and install it manually.

Some of the dependencies for Electrum 2.0 are

 • Python 2.7
 • Python setup tools(incl. pip)
 • PyQt
 • ecdsa
 • slowaes
 • BTChip-python API.

I can't recall all dependencies. Like I said, it will show "Import error: No module named abc" if you haven't installed "abc". When it does, search that module in internet, download and install it.

i have installed electrum-2.0-setup.exe under win7 professional.
When I start the program, and  the "Select your hardware wallet" screen is displayed, only Trezor wallet can be selected.

Haven't you installed BTChip-python?

P.S. If you have successfully compiled Electrum and want to auto-start it when windows open, follow this:

#1. Create a ".bat" file and put this code.
Code:
cd location-to-your-electrum-folder
python electrum
#2. Click the Start button, click All Programs, right-click the Startup folder and then click Open.
#3. Drag the .bat folder file to Startup folder you opened.

You were spamming/trolling. You should wait for some days and appeal after that. It won't be lifted soon.

Posting outside of Meta and outside of your thread to troll is ban evasion.
2505  Other / Meta / Re: questions on: May 03, 2015, 07:28:30 AM
Minor corrections:

2) IN any section you post your activity increases!(You can see it within 30 mins until you reach 14 activity)

30 minutes was changed to 60 minutes, i.e. update may take upto 60 minutes.

3) No matter how much post increases per day, the activity increases only by 1 per day! The changes will be seen in 14 days!
4) No limits for posts! Activity increases only by 1 per day  Smiley

Activity increases 14 per 14 days, not 1 per day.
2506  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BFGMiner 5.1.0: GBT+Stratum, RPC, Mac/Linux/Win64, BlackArrow Prospero, KnC Nep. on: May 03, 2015, 07:19:22 AM

2507  Other / New forum software / Re: Screenshots from epochtalk on: May 03, 2015, 07:17:09 AM
So the new forum will be called epochtalk ? Why change the name ?
The bitcointalk forum is nice and so good in itself and biggest of all it was chosen by Satoshi. Undecided
The Images show it to be really awesome and great . Cheesy
How long for it to come ?

Epochtalk is the name of the forum software (like SMF, phpBB, vBulletin). This forum name will not change, it'll still "Bitcointalk"

Ah! okay , that's a relief. I think currently it's SMF right? Any estimate when is it coming to effect?

Yes. We are using SMF currently. Epochtalk may be ready within a few months but the development is slower than expected. There is no need to be hurry though.
2508  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.0 release on: May 03, 2015, 07:15:19 AM
@Muhammed: Fine. Did you install anything beside Electrum? Is it a Win7 system?

Didn't get your first question. I compiled myself and yes, it is Win7(Ultimate).

2511  Other / New forum software / Re: The 1.5 million dollar (5067 bitcoin) new bitcoin talk forum. on: May 03, 2015, 06:51:22 AM
I wouldn't mind if the signature campaigns are banned in the new upcoming forum. Though i've one in my profile too but it's because it's good earning something than nothing . But some people really go overboard with these. I think if new forum has it , there should be a limit of like 100 posts maximum allowed to be paid by a campaign manager or so . IT will decrease the spam rate .

Better to enforce rules on campaign managers.
2512  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.0 release on: May 03, 2015, 06:40:42 AM
Platform: Win 7
I am trying Electrum 2.1.1 with HW.1
After some minutes I get: "Exception: Timeout"
What should I check or do to make it work??!!!
Please help.

----
Side note:
In the same Win 7 environment,
Electrum  2.1.1 an HW.1 works perfectly under Ubuntu 14.04 LTS in a VirtualBox environment.
I have btchip-c-api, btchip-python and electrum.
I can post the make script to anybody, who is interested.

In 2.0, HW.1 works fine for me. BTChip C API isn't needed for Electrum.
2513  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Can someone check this out. Is it a bug in electrum? on: May 03, 2015, 06:35:52 AM
if you just losted your previoud funds . my advise is that dont use electrum again use blockchain.info which is much more easy. i m using blockchain.info from long time but i got never scammed .. i just want to ask is that your electrum wallet is imported with some other ? and your wallet was passowrd protected or not ?

This is the worse advice. You're basically saying it is better to use a website wallet which is so much less secured than a desktop wallet. What happened with OP's funds is still under investigation but keeping your funds in a website wallet is just wrong and you should not suggest it to others.

It is safe if you know what you are doing, if you have a good security and keep clean your personal computer. However I also don't suggest a web wallet  as 'wallet' because it is not safe to store your bitcoin on a wallet like that, I think it is more secure to keep your BTC on your desktop (and obviously the PC must be 'clean').

well both are safe .. as i use blockchain.info more frequently and i voted for that and suggested it .
it is safe unless you use passowrds like ``123456`` etc etc
as red said your pc need to be clean if you want to use desktop wallet.
blockchain.info also have sms 2 factor authorization why dont you enable it for more security ?

Please don't suggest a web wallet over a desktop wallet unless it is secure enought. This is not the case with Blockchain.info. It had many bugs and they had also pushed unverified code previously. People had lost ~200BTC+ from Blockchain.info.

2515  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Net Neutrality in India on: May 03, 2015, 05:38:34 AM
I agree with you except one thing. Christians schools' majority of staffs are Christians but in Muslims schools it isn't like that. They recruit non-Muslims too just like Hindu schools.

Who said that?  Shocked

I studied in a Convent school and I had mostly Hindu teachers. Yeah, it was run by Nuns but because it is a convent school and Government aided. I honestly never considered religion as an important factor and hence I never noted the religion of my teachers or friends but now I am feeling that religion is a very important factor. Is it so important?

When anybody asks me how many employees are there in my office, I saw 4000 employees are there. I don't say 500 Muslims, 200 Catholics, 100 Hindus and so on.

I'm sorry but this sounds quite odd when somebody discriminates in terms of religion/caste/country/culture. If a person is injured on the road, I don't ask them what religion they belong to as first they are human beings.

I don't like my own religion as except me, 90% of catholics give importance to the word RELIGION. I don't agree with their views nor their beliefs. I asked a priest to bless my grandmother's grave and he said it's not his job. From that day, I felt there's no use of being a catholic or belong to any other religion as all they care is for themselves. If you are a good human being, I am your friend else not.

All Gods are one. No matter how God looks like.

I didn't say religion is important factor in school and/or office. I said in general how the school is when he mentioned about it. I don't discriminate people because of religion. I have friends from most religions. Anyway, come back to the topic. Smiley

You can't withdraw LTC and Dash from a Bitcoin wallet. You will need to use a different wallet to store them.
2520  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: May 02, 2015, 05:00:03 PM
@Muhammed Zakir, thanks. I dont know there is so many commands.
Try the first post as well Smiley  Depending on vanitygen version, there's possibly also some options not listed in that post or provided in the --help output, e.g. "--F compressed" for compressed key output.

In Samir's vanitygen, compressed keys aren't supported, right? Lifeboats' vanitygen supports it and IIRC --help output have --F command.
