i entered balance as i was told i asked for an address and  i sent the doge. and i don't know how to get btc instead of them

After you login to Poloniex, go to https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_doge and in third box(Sell Doge), type amount of Doge you deposited in 'Amount' and click sell.
2283  Other / Meta / Re: What day of the week does the new activity period start? on: May 11, 2015, 11:04:57 AM
You might look at equation again for this.  The way I always read it was you need to have 14 posts for the 14 activity per period. As far as only 1 post equaling 14 activity.  I'm 95 percent sure that's untrue and do need 14.

Make 95% to 100% if post count is equal to activity points.

You would need to join make 14 posts, and get activity before the 12th.  And you would have to get another 14 posts per period before the 26th to get it's activity.  And this is a endless cycle.

Right.

I will say I'm unsure what happens if you get 1 post in the period ending on 12th and then get 27 more the period ends on the 26th.

Won't happen. You can only get a maximum of 14 activity points per 14 days period.

Does that one post get you access to activity for the period ending on the 12th?  Do you get partial activity? Or what I would like to know this is someone knows.

Making 1 post will only earn you 1 activity unless your post count is 13 more than activity points.

I don't understand your question.

You tried to enter your BTC address and what happened? Also where did you enter your BTC address?
2285  Other / Meta / Re: Ways to reduce spambots? on: May 11, 2015, 10:41:34 AM
Is there any way to block the registration from 1 PC, like no matter what IP it has if its the same PC it gets blocked and you cant register more accounts? Or is that impsossible.

IP ban can happen but registrations shouldn't be blocked if there is an account from that IP. But there should a restriction for number of registrations per IP per day.

And what is the patrol thing?

See the link. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol

It is a page for patrollers(aka staffs) for moderating newbies' posts.
2286  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitin.co Scam on: May 11, 2015, 10:39:22 AM
I have already contacted skrill but they told me that it is impossible to pay me to a particular transaction. I do not understand how these scammers always rip people freely without any penalty, and additionally protects skrill that way.

TBH I always wondered why people trust their money with unknown companies.

Verified and witnessed. Always put a date when signing. It is better to write the reason in message when you sign. Here, "Hello this is Plusone from Bitcointalk. I am staking my address here and today is 11/05/2015, Monday".
2288  Other / Meta / Re: Ways to reduce spambots? on: May 11, 2015, 10:32:46 AM
Where have you seen these spambots? I havent seen any lately honestly.

I saw spams from spambot(s) even in Meta. You can see many if you closely watch Patrol page.

When you register you need to provide your email aswell right? Doesnt that slow the bots already?

It won't.

The only effective way of dealing with this would be some way of verification, like mobile phone verification but i know it wont happen.

A mobile or similar verifications shouldn't be implemented.

Just remember to always press that little "REPORT TO MODERATOR" link in right bottom. Generally deleted after few minutes of reporting.

Always using but we need a way to slowdown registration.
2289  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 0.1 btc (No Collateral) on: May 11, 2015, 10:23:15 AM
Any collateral?

Edit: No need to answer. Already found.

I need a loan badly.
Loan amount required : 0.1 btc or 0.05
Term length: 1 month
Interest : 20% depends on you.

I don't have any collateral to offer besides my account which I know is not enough. I need the money badly now. I can't repay until next month because I will have my allowance back this June. Please let me have a loan. we can talk and Negotiate further. I just need it badly for some emergency thi week with my family. Sad

address: 1J6zJhBNJagJLAEcE77Zu4G73nHAkJqtm

You won't get any Bitcoins as you don't have any trust/trade feedback and your post history isn't good. Provide collateral or close this loan request.
2290  Other / Meta / Re: What day of the week does the new activity period start? on: May 11, 2015, 09:58:30 AM
no you would need only two posts, that was my question about

one for example could join on monday and post 1 post, then on wednesday he could post again 1 another post, and raise his activity to 28 in two days only, or even less if you do it all in tuesday

You mean making two posts in two periods to earn 28 activity points? It is not possible unless your post count is higher than activity by 26. But if your post count is equal to activity points, you will have to make 14 posts on Monday before new activity period starts and another 14 posts on Wednesday after new activity period starts to get 28 activity points.

There are services here which helps you to load money with Bitcoin.

There already is a captcha when registering.
 -snip-

Current captcha is very poor IMHO. We should use areyouahuman or reCaptcha.

So I had 1 bitcoin in a paper wallet. I swept the funds into my blockchain.info account, then I sent it off to my mycelium phone wallet. That was 40 minutes ago. There are people waiting on me RIGHT NOW to do a transaction and my coins are not confirmed. What should I do???

Did sweeping the coins cause some delay or something??

Blockchain.info has not implemented the new variable fee system yet as it seems.   Even though it should suggest a fee to make your tx a high priority, it still just suggests the standard fee.

Are you sure? I once swept a lot of inputs and I put a custom fee. Blockchain.info gave a warning saying it is not recommended/enough fee.*

* Not exact sentence.
2294  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Generating new bitcoins on: May 11, 2015, 08:13:34 AM
To avoid trust issue, Bitcoin is decentralized. I highly recommend you to read white paper. https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

every new block is generated after the previous reward is done, forming a chain as a result, only the first block, the one called geenesis, is different in this regard

Genesis not geenesis. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Genesis_block

about the trusting, isn't necessarily, true, no one know if miners are trustable, but usually a smart miner will not harm the network or it will hurt his income

"Smart" isn't appropriate here. Smart miner who want to harm network will harm network if he has enough hashrate to do so.
2295  Other / Meta / Re: What day of the week does the new activity period start? on: May 11, 2015, 08:06:54 AM
Many users here always said if we have a lot posts (which over activity), we can increase our activity in two weeks period just with single post.

My question is if that single post deleted by mods, is it take effect against my activity in the future?
I mean will it lowering my activity by 14?

If all posts in 14 days period are deleted, you will loose that points.
2296  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: [ANN] Bither - simple&secure Bitcoin wallet.( v1.3.4 released) on: May 11, 2015, 08:02:02 AM
HD account will use a new address every time you want to receive a payment or send a transaction with change.

We can still choose an address in our wallet to send change like we do now, right?

We are considering maybe supporting multiple outputs transaction in some kind of a plugin.

Didn't get the plugin part. Anyway, ETA?

IMHO a "+" button for adding output addresses is better. See brainwallet.github.io/#tx or 'Blockchain.info custom send' pages.

Hello! Recently I saw many spams from spambots. Bot registrations are high. I think we can reduce it by limiting number of registrations per IP per day and by putting captcha when registering. I know both can be bypassed but I think it can reduce spambots. Any idea and/or suggestions are welcome!
2299  Other / Politics & Society / Re: UN leaked report: French raped African children aged 8-15 when they asked food! on: May 11, 2015, 04:14:02 AM
French government and the UN deny a cover-up of the potentially devastating scandal, but whistleblower has been suspended for ‘breach of protocol’

Judges in France will investigate claims that French soldiers raped children in the Central African Republic, the prosecutor has said.

Fourteen soldiers are under investigation following statements by six children aged between nine and 13 that some were sexually abused by French peacekeepers between December 2013 and June last year.

It has been almost a year since the French authorities opened an initial investigation after receiving a leaked internal United Nations (UN) report in July last year. But despite sending police to the country to investigate in August, no children or soldiers were questioned and the allegations were never made public. It was only after they were revealed by The Guardian newspaper last month that the investigation was launched. The French government and the UN have denied trying to cover up the potentially devastating scandal, but the UN aid worker who leaked the report has been suspended for "breach of protocol".

Prosecutor Francois Molins said on Thursday he wanted to wait until he had spoken to the aid worker, Swede Anders Kompass, before launching the probe, and the UN had refused to lift his diplomatic immunity status as required for a formal interview. He had instead received written evidence from Mr Kompass on April 29.

He did not draw any connection to the fact that April 29 was also the day the story appeared in The Guardian.

French NGO Innocence in Danger, which works with child victims of violence, said it would take part as a civil party in the investigation.

The Central African Republic government said on Wednesday it would launch its own legal action against the French soldiers.

I have a friend who only eats chicken without the skin.  The skin is bad.

Another who won't eat Chinese food.  Thinks it's bad.

Another who is vegetarian.  Meat and fish are bad.

Another who won't eat bread.  Says it's bad.

You are just one more with your personal opinion.
You can do a lot better than that....All the animals are potentials hosts for various diseases, the pork is just one among many animals carrying diseases ...I can't believe that you are turning this discussion into the "pork is the most dangerous stuff to eat"

Someone just showed you just a fraction of the diseases that the goat carries...same goes for birds (everybody heard of the avian flue - H5N1) , beef (mad cow disease , the UK had huge problems with it ) etc etc

My point is not to convince you or others Muslims to eat pork ( I don't eat pork very often either), but I DO WANT TO SHOW YOU that your brain does a "deep freeze" (similar to the famous software) when arguments circumvent the Islam teachings...You (Muslims) cannot let valid arguments to change the way you were taught for 20+ years, thus you are not capable of evolution...

We(non-Muslims) learn from our mistakes, we learn from others. You are not capable of accepting/absorbing new information, you are stuck to square 1 in the Qur'an. That is the reason that in 1400+ years you evolved so little as a society and in 2015 you still kill people with stones for an affair...and I don't mean ISIS ruled territory here, I mean Saudi Arabia and many other "developed" Arab countries

You(Muslims) are a huge problem for the rest of the world because you are many, you cannot adapt and you are unwilling/incapable to accept facts...Sooner or later something's  gotta give...

Yes, all meats can spread diseases but you should understand why pork's meat is different and unhygienic than others. "Pork are omnivorous scavenging animals that literally eat everything. From rotten food to dead carcasses nothing escapes their menu. They not only eats bugs, insects, and whatever leftover scraps they find laying around, but also their own feces, as well as the dead carcasses of sick animals, including their own young. This is why the fat that builds up in their muscles is far more than any other meet that we eat. This itself can explain why the meat of the pig can be so dirty or at the very least not so appetizing to consume." (Read below)

I don't want to convince you either but you just keep saying we don't think...

The study was not just pig meats but most eaten meats. It doesn't make pig as healthy as other meats like you said.

Pork are omnivorous scavenging animals that literally eat everything. This itself can explain why the meat of the pig can be so dirty or at the very least not so appetizing to consume.

Pork meat is loaded with toxins, more than most other meats like beef and chicken.

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that more than 100 viruses come to the United States through pigs.

You’re probably familiar with H1N1, better known as ‘the swine flu.” This too is a virus that has made the leap from pig to human. But H1N1 is not the only disease to fear from the pig. There are other sicknesses you can get from eating the meat of the pig.

There are reasons that the meat of the pig becomes more saturated with toxins than many of its counterpart farm animals. The first reason has to do with the digestive system of a pig.

A pig digests whatever it eats rather quickly, in up to about four hours. On the other hand a cow takes a good twenty-four hours to digest what it’s eaten. During the digestive process, animals (including humans) get rid of excess toxins as well as other components of the food eaten that could be dangerous to health.

Since the pig’s digestive system operates rather basically, many of these toxins remain in their system to be stored in their more than adequate fatty tissues ready for our consumption.

Another issue with the pig is that it doesn’t have any sweat glands. Sweat glands are a tool the body uses to be rid of toxins. This leaves more toxins in the pig’s body.

It takes the human body more than 6 hours to digest the smallest stake and pork eaters often eat more than just one stake per meal. Pork becomes a problem when consumed in excess and it leads to a severe back up in the digestive system. This back up can make it difficult to absorb essential micronutrients from foods (malabsorption). Over time, undigested foods will putrefy in the stomach and small intestines leading to toxicity in the body.

Pigs carry a variety of parasites in their bodies and meat. Some of these parasites are difficult to kill even when cooking. One of the biggest concerns with eating pork meat is trichinellosis or trichinosis. This is an infection that humans get from eating undercooked or uncooked pork that contains the larvae of the trichinella worm. If it enters the human body it lodges itself directly into the heart muscles and poses an immediate danger of fatal heart failure.

In fact, it’s been theorized that trichinellosis is the exact cause of Mozart’s rather sudden death at age 35. An American researcher theorized this after studying all the documents recording the days before, during, and after Mozart’s death. He found that Mozart suffered many of the above listed symptoms and he, himself, had recorded in his journal the consumption of pork just forty-four days before his own death.

Pigs carry many viruses and parasites with them. Whether by coming in direct contact with them through farms or by eating their meat we put ourselves at higher risk of getting one of these painful, often debilitating diseases (not to mention put our bodies on toxic overload.)

Pigs are primary carriers of:

• Taenia solium tapeworm
• Hepatitis E virus (HEV)
• PRRS (Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome)
• Nipah virus
• Menangle virus

Each of these parasites and viruses can lead to serious health problems that can last for years to come.
