2161  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] FaucetBOX.com - API & faucet script, create your own crypto faucet on: May 14, 2015, 02:19:37 PM
I've got a second report from a faucet owner that he has been hacked. So once again: keep your api key secret, don't keep too much coins, use a hosting that you trust.

2 hacked users out of 2000 isn't a lot, but still that's 2 users too many. We'll slowly start rolling out more security options in near future, but really there's nothing we can do if someone gets an access to your server.

please offer 2 factor option for your site. that would secure it better,

also if most faucet owners have a hosting it would most likely be a shared hosting, (since its cheaper)
and there script must be bad, not the hosting.

if it was hosting and they got access to it they would go to bigger sites.

if your are planning a future update consider two factor for your site.

Please offer Bitcoin message signing as 2FA like a-ads. You can use a java code* for verifying signed messages and also try integrating Clef. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=965220.0

* Such as https://github.com/brainwallet/brainwallet.github.io/blob/master/js/bitcoinsig.js

I vote for simple 2FA with email. To login you have to insert code received in registered email.

I never liked email 2FA. It is insecure IMHO. Different people have different suggestions.

Having three or four options of 2FA wouldn't be a bad idea. Email, Bitcoin signed message, Google 2FA and Clef.
2162  Other / Meta / Re: Please help me ! My account has been banned ! on: May 14, 2015, 02:06:50 PM
I think the forum recognizes IP addresses from certain locations and analize them. If you are in such country, and use the IP to login, it will ban you automatically.
There is nothing you can do about it.

Wrong. It doesn't ban a whole place, only IP.
2163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Error code when trying to spend MultiSig from Bitcoin QT on: May 14, 2015, 01:26:43 PM
You need TXID of the unspent transaction output you are using for the creating transaction. You can't use one TXID everytime, it will be a double-spend.

P.S. I misunderstood your question. A sender only needs to know your multisig address to send funds, don't need to know TXID. But you needed to know when creating a transaction.
2164  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Looking For Web Wallet with no Transaction Fee on: May 14, 2015, 01:11:31 PM
Blockchain.info. You can use a custom fee if the recommeded fee is high. Remember, using amount below recommded fee will decrease priority of your transaction which results in slower confirmation.
2165  Other / Meta / Re: scammer gave me a Negative trust because He Defaulted in loan on: May 14, 2015, 01:09:34 PM
There's nothing you can do about the feedback unless you can get him to remove it but the account is yours if he gave it up as collateral and hasn't met the payment terms. Was it cryptoforcause who defaulted? What does he have to do with this?

Yes He is a cryptoforcause  who defaulted the Loan, He gave this account to an escrow (MZ) as collateral, and when he defaulted after 24 hours MZ sent me the detail of that account. Now cryptoforcause is under my control.

It's camelson not cryptoforcause.
2166  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sr. Member account for sale! on: May 14, 2015, 11:21:39 AM
You're welcome!

Let me dig up. If I see I have more accounts, will reopen this thread.
2167  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sr. Member account for sale! on: May 14, 2015, 11:15:14 AM
I sent you a PM

Replied and thanks for the good deal.

wow. just wow. I know its suppose to be constructive at this point. But I'm speechless.

There are people who do much better than me. It's not a big deal.
2168  Other / Archival / Re: 7.5 BTCjam investments... help a brother get funded :) on: May 14, 2015, 11:07:16 AM
I am, but the point of this loan is that I do not want to use my salary straight up to buy BTC.
Otherwise I would have just bought the 7.5 straight up with my credit card or something.

I am trying to avoid using my fiat of this.

I will send the 2.5 for sure as I have it there.
I can do more with fiat, but I will be away for 10 days come Monday, and need my fiat for holiday.

You asked for collateral and I am providing this.

Am I understanding correctly? You send 2.5BTC to lender/escrow as collateral and lender send 7.5BTC to you. Isn't it better to give 5BTC instead?

Lastly you can see my details are verified on BTCjam so I am who I say I am at least there.
And along with other exchanges.

What can we do with it?
2169  Other / Archival / Re: 7.5 BTCjam investments... help a brother get funded :) on: May 14, 2015, 10:59:58 AM
Here is the 2btc in Bitfenix that I use for trading...

What forces you to use that coin, or the coin in scrypt.cc, to pay your debts?

(btw.. you posted in your btcscam listing "I currently have 13.5btc from in Scrypt.cc and it pays out 6.6btc per month. I also have other btc elsewhere that I will use to pay this back."   Not according to the screenshot!)

Yes this is all due to the change in power over at Scrypt. All rewards have dropped.
If you look over at the scrypt forum you will see all the info on this as you wish.

I placed the loan just before this all went down.

Nope. They were ponzi way before that - from starting.
2170  Other / Archival / Re: 7.5 BTCjam investments... help a brother get funded :) on: May 14, 2015, 10:52:39 AM
This is my current balance in Scrypt.cc

Ponzi accounts are not valid collateral.
2171  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Sr. Member account for sale! on: May 14, 2015, 10:51:39 AM
Trusted positive feedback couldn't be removed but I managed to remove user who left trust feedback to be removed from default trust list.

Thats some determination to get the trust removed from the account MZ. To actually get them removed from default trust so the trust is not on the account. Am I understanding this correctly? I think you may have used some misleading words in that sentence? Or did you?

Nope. The trust feedback is still there but the user was removed from default trust list so that the feedback no longer appears trusted.
2172  Other / Meta / Re: Clarification About The Forum on: May 14, 2015, 10:49:00 AM

3) Thereis no minimum and maximum. Keep the quality of your posts high.

How to keep the quality posts high? The more words or sentences you write the better? Is one sentence also a considered a quality posts high?

1) Read the thread and (all) posts.
2) Think about what you are posting.
3) Only post if you have something to contribute to discussion.
4) Don't create answers if you don't know.

Yes, even post with one word can be high qualitative post. But making many one-word-posts will be a different scenario.
2173  Other / Meta / Re: Clarification About The Forum on: May 14, 2015, 10:26:33 AM
1) Community answer: no. Yes. Not legal or illegal.
2) Yes.
3) Thereis no minimum and maximum. Keep the quality of your posts high.
4) No.
5) No. You need to post at least once in a 14 days period to get activity.
6) Yes.
7) No.
8) No. You can only earn a maximum of 14 activity points per 14 days period. There is an exception for banked activity.
2174  Other / Archival / Re: 7.5 BTCjam investments... help a brother get funded :) on: May 14, 2015, 10:10:07 AM
No collateral, no loan. You don't have enough reputation to ask a no collateral loan here.
2175  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What about our old miners? on: May 14, 2015, 09:48:32 AM
How about using it to mine a n other SHA256 based coin ? its not just bitcoin thats built around sha256

All SHA256 coins which is worth mining has high difficulty. It's better to give it to a school for experiments or mine an altcoin for fun.

2177  Other / Meta / Re: Please help me ! My account has been banned ! on: May 14, 2015, 09:27:14 AM
Many low value posts. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=499870;sa=showPosts.

That could be the reason for your ban.

It is a permanent ban from the message you posted. When you buy an account you always carry the risk that it was already banned earlier. In this case it was, otherwise you wouldn't have got a permanent ban.

What is your account?

Read the message but couldn't find the username?
