281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 19, 2019, 08:15:28 PM
By the way, I am just curious to discuss about Ben Stokes innings in the final match. He had a dashing world cup. Not many player can play an inning like that. His inning had a good combination of luck and skills. Fortune favored the brave.
Do you know Stokes innings is ever highest for England in a world cup final? The previous highest was 63, can't remember the exact name of that player. He played an excellent innings by the way.
As a player yes, he did play well. As a team, they didn't deserve the cup neither did the kiwis. I wish Austalia or India could have won as these are the strongest teams out there. Nz clearly didn't belong there, they played the worst game for a cricket team playing in the finals.
282  Economy / Lending / Re: I will give loans with domains and other cryptos are collateral on: July 19, 2019, 08:05:09 PM
Yeah right... you would disappear with any collateral should there be anyone stupid enough to send anything to you.
Plot Twist : Op will get scammed by all the domain sellers who will transfer the ownership back again after receiving the payments from him.

Just a personal curiosity, how do you calculate the value of a particular domain? Cause nowadays I see a lot of these domains used as collaterals but everyone has a different price.
Every website calculates it differently. Like there are no general conditions involved in calculating a domain's price. It will depend on how badly the buyer wants it.
283  Economy / Reputation / Re: Flag against Livecoin (again) on: July 19, 2019, 08:01:47 PM
After receiving negative ratings and the flag against them being valid, there is a new account
I doubt it's just the new account. Someone from the forum secretly wants to earn some money and avoid getting a bad reputation on the forum. It's obvious someone experienced here is managing the account. Regardless, right flag. Supported.

That is deeply concerning. If only there was a way to track IPs .. wink wink?
Not sure if you're being sarcastic or whatever but was the supposed to mean that I'm behind the new account and managing the campaign? If that's the case, I don't think the admins should waste their time finding my IP's, I'll just give them on my own lol for a terrible manager I'm. You're defending them and I can clearly see why's that.
284  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambler's Fallacy (The key to unbiased gambling) on: July 19, 2019, 07:58:13 PM
A very interesting read indeed. Love the breakdown on github as well. The Gambler's Fallacy is well known and there are books, movies, shows based on it.

What makes you say that humans are very bad at gambling?
How many humans do you personally know who are good at gambling? Like do the math and you wouldn't be surprised what is the ratio of good gamblers compared to bad gamblers.
285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoins 'NIMAKEYS' – Claims Bank Account got Frozen – Owes me Money! SCAM? on: July 19, 2019, 07:51:28 PM
anyone can recommend a lawyer in norway , or knows how to find this person.
this will be rewarded.
From the explanation given above, it's very hard to make out who was supposed to send bitcoins? Wouldn't the bitcoins be already in the LBC escrow so if the person on the other end doesn't send money you can dispute the trade? The bitcoins are still in the escrow correct? It'd be stupid of you to release them without receiving the full amount and I doubt a lawyer will turn out to be a good help.

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra has competitive advantages over Bitcoin. We let this happen. on: July 19, 2019, 07:40:39 PM
If you don't have any concerns about Bitcoin you can always go allin and bash anyone that has a different opinion.
When would you understand that it is not just about bitcoin but crypto-enthusiast as a whole? I like to be anonymous, I like to have freedom over my transactions, I like to have the code-open-sourced. I don't care what market value is of the coin as long as I don't want to use banks. I don't like someone watching over my transactions. Read all that and think about Libra again, "Libra created by FACEBOOK".
288  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Help Wanted on: July 19, 2019, 07:34:38 PM
I need some people to take over a few projects, please send me a message or post on here with relevant qualifications etc etc...
You should be specific on what are you looking for Ex. Developer,Designers,Marketing and also you should not easily believe to those Pajeets that would PM you or either post up into this thread
about their fake experience or qualifications.
He's asking for "Help" which I believe usually mean something that would be done but would not be paid for. Sorry OP, it's hard to find good developers even by paying money, you're asking such help for free. Pointless. Post your project here maybe someone interested in creating their portfolios will be interested.
289  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BitcoinFeed.News - The Crypto News Aggregator on: July 19, 2019, 07:31:44 PM
I think one of your sources is parsing the wrong response. Like got directed to this article which has nothing to do with Bitcoin or crypto https://bitcoinfeed.news/ccn/2019/07/19/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-uncut-footage-flaunts-newfound-maturity/

- Also, do you have permissions to show articles from other sources on your website? This isn't allowed if the company doesn't want to.
- https://bitcoinfeed.news/tools/ is the most helpful section I found about your website. Very straightforward.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra has competitive advantages over Bitcoin. We let this happen. on: July 19, 2019, 07:25:16 PM
Do we have a shill here? Move this damn thread to Shit-Coin discussion already.

@op : I would have taken your argument into account if you could compare them based on the technical specifications. But for peanut brains like you who judges a coin by it's market value, I don't have much to discuss. Let me guess, you created your first ever bitcoin wallet on Coinbase? And got fucked over by one of these scammy exchanges.
291  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC on: July 18, 2019, 11:46:56 PM
Is this website https://coinskyyy.com/ fraudulent?
Move it to service discussion as it's the proper board at the moment.

From the looks of it, I would not assume it is a sheer scam just yet. Having said that, I wouldn't go all trusting it either. They have an invite based sign-up. There is an additional filed called "Fund Password" which is asked while signing up and I don't know what that means. The website is poorly written in English and is not meant for the English crowd at all.

292  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative trust members list on: July 18, 2019, 11:35:30 PM
By the way, I wonder if the negative trust feedback is that much effective like it used to be. To me it seems nothing to worry at all for those who have negative trust feedback. But if they have flag (type 2 and 3) then that is something looks very bad visually.
To be honest, I still believe in the good old trust system. I will base all my conclusions on a person's negative trust. Flags are good to have but they don't necessarily prove whether it is safe to trade/trust a member.

Shame about jamalaezaz - went off the deep end... Some well known names and some more obscure ones make for an interesting trip down scammer's lane...
Money - It's proven time and again that it has the capability to change people in seconds. Take masterP's case for example. Smiley
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: July 13, 2019, 03:01:32 PM

Basically the importance of KYC in gambling platform's cannot be over emphasize since a company would like to know their customers while playing games on their platform's. But does that actually matters if you as a gambler you don't trust the platform's? Actually NO and if that Doesn't matters then your privacy matters because they can sell off your data to other parties.
All the casinos operated under Curacao or other sub-gambling licenses have no rights to ask for KYC from any of their players. If they do so, the site is a scam and players should avoid it.

Kcy is important to know the true information of the person who registered the sites and to prevent multiple account or fake account.
KCY? Really cunt? It is important for the operators to know who uses the site but not the other way around that is the customers should also know who owns the site?
294  Economy / Services / Re: Hiring Community Managers. on: July 13, 2019, 02:37:50 PM
Stop wasting time on the OP. I suspect the service/project is fraudulent and not run with any serious intentions. I've sent them a message on their telegram account a week ago and the message is not even delivered yet or maybe the account is not active at all. Time wasters.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One week in Bitcoin July 2019 on: July 13, 2019, 02:27:50 PM
Those pictures depict the reality of modern capitalism and slavery. Donald Trump is an idiot and Zuckerberg is a business-minded theif. I don't care if Donald Trump shuts facebook's Libra down. It was supposed to be data-stealing money making machine for facebook.

That is right sir, we need to respect what donald trump opinion for bitcoin or in crypto in general, because as you said he isn't a businessman. Donald trump is politician he is on the government side interest, I am not a US citizen or US residence but I understand him he want to protect the banking economic system of the states.
But if he understands well all about crypto for sure their mind can change at the right time.
You're wrong chap. You don't have to respect the ideas and opinions coming from people who are dumb as fuck and don't know what they're talking about. I'm not a US citizen either but it doesn't take a genius to understand how dumb he is as a human being. He clearly sees Bitcoin as a threat for his banking economy and that is why he wants to pressurize laws to stop its regulation but that's not how democracy works correct.
296  Economy / Reputation / Re: Can somebody tag this idiot? on: July 13, 2019, 02:23:05 PM
Tagging the user is not gonna help in this case and I am not sure if someone should tag the user too for this reason. Even if you do, they will not stop. they will keep doing the same thing they are doing. A temporary ban will work fine and good thing that you reported it to the mod.
I don't think bans are given out for providing such services. Even if they could, your logic still wouldn't work here because they're huge account farmers and it really doesn't make a difference if one of their accounts get banned. Negative rating will stand as a warning for projects who hire these ANN bumpers that by using such services you're risking your project' future on bitcointalk.
297  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do high-paying campaigns pose a threat to the community? on: July 13, 2019, 02:16:05 PM
I'm not against high-paying campaigns, seriously but history has witnessed something different, something that tasted bitter in the end. Let's begin here:

Not bragging about, but I'm really glad as well as proud to be a part of one of the highest paying campaigns - Chipmixer as they've got no issues or scam accusations against them till date.

Hypocritical much?

You've based your decision by taking only a few selective occurrences into consideration. There were other high paying campaigns which operated smoothly and still continue to do so. As long as ChipMixer is concerned, I wouldn't be surprised if they disappear tomorrow considering the massive takedown of illegal bitcoin-related operations.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Top 5 Bitcoin Dice Strategy Guide: How to Win at Crypto Dice on: July 13, 2019, 02:04:13 PM
Informative merit deserving post except for the part where you started to promote Trust-Dice. Not heard about the website before and definitely, it is not one of the popular dice sites around. Just in case anyone looking for alternative and better options, don't hesitate to visit crypto-games.net. Smiley

300  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Research question ! on: July 13, 2019, 01:53:12 PM
CEX/DEX/ every other fancy term out there is of less importance compared to the KYC policies and support of the exchange. Most of the exchanges fuck customers over in the name of KYC policies. Is there a way your DEX/CEX can solve that? People have to wait for days to get a reply from support. Can this be taken as a priority?
