1221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain now requiring KYC documentation to buy hardware on: August 24, 2018, 10:04:43 PM
It's somewhat of a joke the way you put it, but we're definitely heading towards a state where everything we do gets taxed one way or another, especially when it concerns crypto currencies.
It's in your hands to stop it. For instance, people should just stop buying Bitmain miners and make the company suffer a drastic loss in the business due to their new KYC policy. They will change it or will be replaced by another company which doesn't enforce such policies. It's really upto the people to decide how to go about a government tactic. Evey exchange has started to ask for verifications and everybody is doing it you see, the government did their thing but it's only upto the masses to decide if they would abide or boycott it.
1222  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][ICO] Coinbates: Weapons of Mass Adoption on: August 24, 2018, 09:56:36 PM
What benefits does it offer for an average online shopper? For instance, being a bitcoin believer, I wouldn't want to use my debit/credit to purchase anything from a crypto project. Do you have an option to let me pay using just crypto?

Quote
Crypto cashback rewards are paid out once per quarter directly to your specified crypto wallet address. You can change the coin that you would like to be paid in at any time before your next payout date.
Quarterly is a big gap. Not many people would like to wait this long.
1223  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS on: August 24, 2018, 09:50:44 PM
At the present time it is trading around 4.5$ . However with a market going down. i THINk it will reach lower bottom of   1.5-2$ pc (per coin). what do you think?
It's always a hit or a miss case with such coins. No one can predict how the market would move unless you are one of the whales. They are also very easily manipulated. It's always wiser to invest when the market is down. I suggest, wait for a week and see if it's going down further or showing an increment.

Declaimer: I am new to crypto and I am still on a learning curve (but i have  general understating of blockchain technology, "general" is a key word ). What I lack is understanding of how crypto market works . To apply usual stock market patterns is not working here (or at least they are NOT THAT reliable in my opinion )it is unbelievable how fast and volatile it is. (seriously "in a blink of an eye" would be a right expression here).
You need to read more and experiment with different trading methods to see which one works out the best for you. There isn't a general method that would always work. Not very diferent from the stock market.
1224  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: N.Exchange unprofessionalism, ICO might be a scam. on: August 24, 2018, 09:35:31 PM
They now completely ignored my message on telegram and seems that they don't have any plans on paying the contest.
Only response I received from them was another "Hi" yet they are actively responding to other users.
Now it's quite evident they don't have any intentions of paying you. They should have been tagged earlier considering the above investigations. Please send a link of this thread as a personal message to one of the active DT members in this thread. (The Pharmacist/ malboroza/ Vod).

1225  Economy / Gambling / Re: www.SportsPrediction.org | | 70%+ Win-Rate | Professional Better Working for on: August 24, 2018, 02:56:24 AM
I've used this site on and off over the last year. It's legit and currently on a hot streak, so join up to take part Cheesy
Do you mind giving us more insights into the same? Maybe the bets they predicted and you won a huge margin on it?  Anything else that might be publicly verifiable to see them in action?

personally I don't recommend this site , I joined in the past and they were in negative also the odds aren't that easy to get
20$ a week for a tipster with negative results is so freaking high
But the results can't always be negative given their 70% chances of accurate prediction. Assuming you make a bet of about $100 and make $200 on it, giving away $20 for the entire week seems just fine.
1226  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★ Crypto-Games.net ★ Player just won 1.3 million $ ★ 4 Years old, lets parteee ★ on: August 24, 2018, 02:51:29 AM
Legit?
Thread has almost 250k views. More than 200 replies. Has already celebrated their 4 year anniversary. People posting their winning over here. No unsolved problems or accusation and you still ask if they are legit or not? Why not give it a try? I am sure you will like it.
To add a few more points to that
 - Running one of the highest paid signatures campaigns for several years.
 - Moderated/supported by a long-standing reputed DT member.
 - Probably the only gambling site where investments are proved to be lucrative publicly.

There are not many sites as reputed as crypto-games in the bitcoin gambling scene.  Cool
1227  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TheBigCoin - Pay with Bitcoin Anywhere Online & Anonymously! on: August 23, 2018, 11:51:35 PM
Am I the only one who is totally unaware of this gem of a project (if it actually works as its mentioned)! Basically, I can order anything from a number of stores using bitcoin anonymously? "Anonymous" term is a bit bold to be honest because one will definitely need to add their shipping details to get the product delivered and that also involves a name and other details. Having said that, one can always get pass that using proxy shipping services. I will give you'll a try. Do you support Amazon prime products?
1228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Listing Token For Free On EXDelta.github.io on: August 23, 2018, 11:46:55 PM
Does your platform provide trading of these tokens or you just add them on the market? Also, how broke are you that you couldn't afford a cheap hosting and a domain name? Why would you host your site on GH-pages? If your websites involve any transactions, I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole.
1229  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitmain now requiring KYC documentation to buy hardware on: August 23, 2018, 11:43:43 PM
Anyone know the reasoning behind this?  Buying and selling hardware is hardly the same as what an exchange does.  I'm leery about giving them a copy of my passport.
Holy Shit! Seems like we will have an era where you need to submit your KYC to buy doughnuts using bitcoins! Are there any alternatives? I hope another Chinese company starts selling their 2nd copy miners on alibaba.com.

So Bitmain shoot their own foot by enforcing KYC now. Perhaps its time for GMO of Japan to step up with their manufacturing of their own Bitcoin mining hardware. Might be related to IPO, but what if our/your data is compromised and leaked?
You can't do anything, assuming it's the government that asked bitmain to do so and not their will to add the KYC policy.
1230  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 'useless as a payment mechanism and ridiculous as a store of value on: August 23, 2018, 11:32:07 PM
Of course he is going to say that, paypal wants to see bitcoin die.
Not to mention but they tried to do that but banning so many accounts that involved crypto trading. I still remember the number of accounts that were banned by them in the early bitcoin bubble.

PayPal is the biggest POS ever.  I use Bitcoin at numerous retail outlets and I make many online purchases with it.  SOunds like Paypal is about to be replaced.  Bye Bye.  I have never witnessed a bigger bunch of thieves than those guys.
About to be? They already are! They are not even POS, they're just a highly centralized money regulating organization. Elon Musk wouldn't be proud of PayPal at its current stage either.
1231  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [Project] Alagoria.com - Buy anything on Amazon for 10% Off Using Crypto on: August 16, 2018, 10:46:12 PM
Seems like a good idea. But the website needs to be more professional and functional. I tried opening one of the items listed on the front-page and it took more than 10 seconds to get the details. Not to mention but the loading text could have been better and well formatted. But that's acceptable as this is the first release. Will keep watching this thread.
1232  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Two projects of the same name token CBC, whether scam? on: August 16, 2018, 10:40:50 PM
I found the ico project is running bounty program, cashbery coin- token CBC. along with another cashbet coin project

web cashbet coin: https://coin.cashbet.com/
web cashbery coin: https://cashberycoin.com/

I am a person with little experience in detecting scam projects
wish you have a discussion. Thank you
The information provided is inadequate. When you mentioned the keyword a bounty program, don't you think it's important to include a link of the same so it makes it easier for others to check? I couldn't even find the bounty program for the first ICO. Here's a link for the second one :https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4821617.msg43501734#msg43501734

What is your point?
1233  Economy / Reputation / Re: How To Find A Connected Account (Bounty Cheaters) on: August 16, 2018, 10:25:24 PM
--snip--
That is rather a bit complicated way of doing it. Instead, you can just install a duplicate entries detector Add-on for the spreadsheet. There are free and paid versions available. As finding duplicates would be a one time job, I'm sure the free versions would suffice. It also highlights the duplicates and such.
1234  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best crypto payment gateway? on: August 11, 2018, 11:48:55 AM
Hey,

I'm looking for a crypto payment gateway to integrate into a website, trying to cut out a bit of the heavy-lifting for myself.

- Don't use bitpay, if I happen to come on your website and see you are using bitpay, I will disappear the next second!
- Depending on the traffic on your website, you should decide if you need a payment solution or should implement your own portal.
- If you implement your own payment service, you can save much on the service fees and also customize stuff according to your customer needs.
1235  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [pre-ANN] Moonify BROWSER MINING + USERS REWARD - Looking for promotion on: August 11, 2018, 11:42:33 AM
Hey guys! We have a project that we’ve been working on for a while now and we’re launching part of it today.

https://loot.game is a website that enables users to earn games simply by “being there”. Well, visitors pay with their CPU power (consent is required first) through an in-browser JS miner and accumulate bitMoony tokens that they can then redeem for games.

Please check our announcement here https://medium.com/moonify/we-just-launched-loot-game-448ca0c96181

We would love to get your feedback
Don't you think my anti-virus should show me a warning before letting me access a website that has control over my CPU? You said I would be asked for consent before accessing my CPU power. Well, you didn't. I was greeted by some game modal that doesn't directly asks if it's okay for you to use my computer power.
1236  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Problem with localbitcoins.com on: August 11, 2018, 11:28:16 AM
My suggestion, if you really find this a hassle, just go somewhere else. I think Bisq is really coming up. I have yet to trigger any further verification from LBC beyond what I have already done before but I suspect I'm just a small time trader not warranting the due attention.
Same with me! I have verified my identity which gives me enough freedom to trade about 1-2BTC Per day without any hassle. I don't think it's the volume that matters but your activities do! For instance, I found a Russian trader ready to pay on Indian Bank accounts, that's very suspicious. I instantly reported the ID resulting in that account to be banned until further investigations.
1237  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: N.Exchange unprofessionalism, ICO might be a scam. on: August 11, 2018, 11:21:43 AM
BTW their site is listing recent exchange orders which still haven't completed yet. Someone is starting exchange orders there and isn't depositing it and that is filling up their "Recent Orders" list.
Possibly a scam: Look at their signature campaign thread if you want to further investigate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2178080.260

The webiste is broken at various points and they seem  to have only one support to handle the entire exchange : Chirag  Moreover, their linkedIn profiles look suspicious. Those linkedIn experts on the forum should check the authenticity of it.
1238  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.2BTC loan - 30 Days - 0.25BTC Repayment on: August 11, 2018, 11:03:01 AM
Update: I have this thought in mind. I will need your account as collateral to ensure that you will repay in time. I have lost too much money just for being nice.
To be honest, you shouldn't be taking an account as a collateral because that gives defaulter an easy to sell their accounts. Just in case if he defaults the loan, what would you do with the account? Probably sell it to get whatever you can to cover your loss? Sounds like the root cause of account trading?
1239  Economy / Gambling / Re: OnlineCasino.info - Online Casino Ratings - Bitcoin Gambling Guide on: August 11, 2018, 10:56:58 AM
How do you separate a good gambling review website from a bad one? The bad one will always have Betcoin Casino in front-page of their gambling reviews.

GTFO OP, if you can't review and support the actual legitimate gambling sites, at least don't promote obvious scams. Like you will get all the relevant information if you just google for good gambling websites on bitcointalk but no, you have to shill.

what is the problem with Betcoin casino? when we do a google search for "betcoin casino review" the top 10 results average 4 out of 5 stars... what are we missing? if you can please explain more that would be helpful, thanks!
Yes sure, check out their scam accusations on bitcointalk. I'm putting a few links below
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2988073.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4175145.0
https://game-protect.com/betcoin-ag-scam/
https://www.sportsbookreview.com/forum/bitcoin-sports-betting/3445574-betcoin-ag-scammed-me.html

All those reviews you read are paid for. That is, they are not to be taken seriously.

also, which casinos do you recommend we add to our list of bitcoin casino reviews? we post here in bitcointalk to get information from the community members about overall opinions and consensus. your feedback is very much appreciated.
You can start with the one in my signature : crypto-games.net You can check our bitcointalk thread for more information.
1240  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Thinking of Starting A Review Site on: August 11, 2018, 10:52:51 AM
CEOs are diverse people many dont want to be very public about their work and prefer to be secretive.
keeping the entire public relation on their website. sometimes it has also secretive reasons as they might not operate ina safe region, like in the usa.
Can they always submit an interview anonymously? Can't they? Speaking honestly, if they can link their LinkedIn accounts on the team page, I'm pretty sure they don't care about being secretive.

All the big companies that I have worked for had huge PR and marketing departments. While the CEO needs to be quick on his feet, it's not his responsibility to come up with the narrative for the company; he has much bigger fish to fry. This is why there are case studies and focus groups: the PR department takes this information and puts together some form of narrative for the CEO to relay when he is speaking publicly about the company. I can guarantee that the CEO of Google and Microsoft do not write their own speeches or presentations. Just sayin'
They don't write their own speeches but they DO come on the stage and spit it out. That shows they are concerned. Anyway would you prefer a CEO that cares to spit out the speech or a CEO that hides?
