Hi, we can offer bets in Local Italian bookies shops. We can bets prematch + live. All bets are offline, we dont touch odds on online bookies. Our service is good for prematch betting. Good bet on football, basketball and tennis (ITF also)
Telegram: offlinebetting
First things first, will you be accepting bitcoin payments? If the answer is no, there is no point to be here at all. Many people get good odds online with sort of anonymous bets and without having to worry about legal stuff. Taking this into consideration, I doubt anyone would like to go offline betting. Moreover, I don't see this working out smoothly even if you accepted bitcoin payments.

Elon Musk Wants to Buy Ethereum (ETH), Even If It Is a Crypto Scam.
Anybody looking for the exact tweet, there you go: https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1034483462235975681 This tweet is causing a wave over all the crypto related forums. I don't know what's the big deal. What are your thoughts on Elon Musk's sense of cryptocurrency humor? While it might not be serious, its good publicity for Ethereum (ETH) during trying times as the coin went from near $1,400 USD at the beginning of 2018 to now under $300 as it looks for its next catalyst…which might be in the form of an Elon Musk tweet..in which it did for Tesla, so why not Ether?
From the looks of it, he is just being sarcastic. Elon Musk isn't the kind of personality to adapt to an existing system. You know, if he comes up with his own crypto, millions will be invested into it and it would actually be used in the real world unlike others.

Do you have anything implemented yet apart from just an idea? There is literally no base for us to give you a feedback without seeing the website/white-paper. Also, that market is quite saturated and we see a new smart contract based sports betting stuff here every week. I'm not demotivating you but it is something you should consider while developing your project. Launch the website/whiate-paper soon as you can.
I have v1 of my unofficial Whitepaper I can send to you? Where should this be sent. I'm still working on my website; It's about 75% completed. The betting market is saturated, this isn't betting. For example in a bet, if your team loses, you lose everything. With this new platform, if you own shares of a team and they lose, the team value will only decrease. It's investing in your favorite sport teams. You shouldn't send it to me because it is kind of confidential, isn't it? Once your website is completed, the first thing you gotta upload is your white-paper. If the team value keeps decreasing, someday, eventually they will hit the bottom along with my investments correct? I believe these are virtual teams, the games are virtual and highly manipulative. Assuring fairness in this scenario will be a bit complex. Anyway, these are just my rough guesses, maybe your white-paper will tell more.

Does anyone think a crypto sports trading project can succeed?
I suppose you wanted to say a Crypto sports betting website? I don't see a reason for a project to fail as long as the business plan is reasonable. I am not into betting so can't give any advice but there is Sportbet.io, I participated in their advertising campaign in their early days and I see they are still here. So I guess it's working well for them... FYI, they are the worst thing happened to bitcoin sports-betting scene. They are a well-planned scam running multiple scam gambling projects. Anyway, OP there is a huge scope for sports betting projects as long as you have the right talent to market it. It's not just limited to good UI or fair anymore, people are more concerned with support, speed, and anonymity. Observer the existing sites to figure out what they lack, you can take those negatives to plan your project accordingly. I wouldn't consider this sports betting, but more as investing. If your team loses, you won't lose everything; the team's value will just decrease. Have you tried many crypto betting sites? Yes, most of them have started with a huge bankroll and have invested massive amounts in promotions and marketing. I wouldn't consider your project as total gamble. yes, I have several ideas for the marketing and use of token for crypto bet platform, but a project is not only an idea needs more things to succeed
What else do you think is required for a successful project? Can a great idea sell? Is huge capital required? I feel as though a great idea and passion will go along way Ideas come and go, the only implementation is all that counts. If you are really passionate about the idea, validate it from a few friends and see if you can go about implementing it. A great idea cannot sell without a market for it. You don't even know if your idea has a market yet.

Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What about Ethereum-based gambling games?
|
on: August 25, 2018, 12:01:10 PM
|
Most recently, I've seen many smart contract-based gambling games which live on the Ethereum blockchain. Some of them are Dice games, while others have a variety of games to choose from like Poker, Lottery, and more. Good examples of gambling games within Ethereum are EtherDice, vDice, and DAO Casino. However, I believe that these are not the only ones in existence right now, as many more are yet to come.
The real question is, do they have even 2% of the bitcoin gambling market? How many people even play on these sites? From what I have seen, there projects are more into ICO funding than actual gambling. I wouldn't take them as serious gambling projects. Nevertheless, what do you think about Ethereum-based gambling games? Will they have a future? Will they become adopted at the same level of traditional gambling games or not? I would like to know your thoughts about this. They don't have a market now? I don't see them going anywhere in the future either.

People quoting the exception really annoy me, sure some beginners get absolutely lucky and manage to nail a completely ridiculous run on their first attempt. but these people are also likely to brag about their success, giving you a bias as to how often it actually happens, whereas few people are going to boast about losing 10x in a row.
Yes, after a certain point bragging becomes shilling. Beginners luck just like the usual 'luck' is just a hypothetical concept with no scientific evidence. I have trie to play too many luck related things for the first time and I didn't win a single time. I think it's only normal that beginners are lucky in a casino. But why is it that when they are hooked up in it they will lose and only win occasionally. I don't want to put any conspiracy in casino gambling, but there is something fishy in everything they do. Even in my own experience in the first time I gamble in a casino, I win lots of tokens but as time goes by my losses pile up. Maybe it's a coincidence or there is something only the casino knows.
Gambling is the same since the day you start and the day you go broke. There is no magic in between.

Why would you use them they literally have no reputation around? How did you come across them? Have you taken off your website from their servers yet? Please use vpsservers.com or some other reputed bitcoin hosts. I don't find their information on bitcointalk, can you? Do they even accept payments in bitcoins?

can an api key to work on multiple websites. have someone tested ?
That totally depends on the website. I don't think blockchain.com gives that provision because before giving you the access to their API, the check your website manually and allow requests from the same origin I guess. You can't use the same API key validated for one website on others. I could be wrong though.

Anyone interested in a partnership or investing in a new crypto sports trading platform? Currently seeking seed funding
What is a 'sports trading'? Do you mean sports betting? If I was you, I'd probably elaborate a bit more to convince why it's safe to invest in your idea. The project is not something you'd get up and running in a couple of bitcoins.

It's unfair that the site had to block a user for doing whatever the fuck he wanted with his monies. How much money on his account was locked up? Either way, signing up petitions isn't going to make a big difference. If a lot of players on that website feel the same about the situation, they should discontinue playing there. As easy as it sounds and not like there aren't better options around.

Hypothetically speaking, 2 min per post = 30 posts in hour = 240 posts in 8 hours. They have to eat, go to toilet and login to different accounts(I'll remove 2 hours from their shift) - that is 180 posts a day, on weekly base that is 1260 posts, as you said they have to post 10 posts a week so one person can operate 126 accounts without problem.
9 laptops, 9 persons = 1100 shitposting accounts.
And that is just the estimation of bitcointalk posting. Bounties are massively spammed over Facebook/Twitter/Medium accounts as well. I'm pretty sure they would have 100's of social media accounts to make the most out of bounties. This is hilarious! Can't believe they have started a company for bounty whoring!

Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any Bitcoin Lending Platforms that accept Collateral (Domains,Real Estate,ETC)?
|
on: August 25, 2018, 10:45:28 AM
|
I've been looking around sometime for Bitcoin Lending Platforms that accept alternative collateral such as (Domains, Real Estate, Autos, etc.). I understand there are challenges with the types of collateral I have mentioned since they require multiple steps and a suitable third party (escrow, holding company, etc.). I also understand that securing the collateral is a bit more complicated, but definitely doable.
It might not work out. Even if you get the loan, the bitcoin rates fluctuate and it might be a hit or miss for you. If you are lent x amount in BTC while paying back if the terms say you're supposed to pay the x back, the final value in $$ might not be the same. Banks offer much better loan options for Real Estate collaterals. That being said, with all the tokenization out there and P2P portals, not one that I have found makes it easy to secure a bitcoin (or any coin) loan with simple underwriting. At least I haven't found one.
There isn't. They couldn't sustain for long given the amount of scammers in the market.

Yes like I said there are articles and fancy media coverage but the industry isn't just ready yet. Replying to your second quote, patient data can be immutable and still be updated. Redundancy is always a great thing, and so is record keeping, and that is what this would involve. If the patients data needs to be updated, the new data will be stored, thus still having the old record accessible and unchanged.
That makes sense! But again the authority who is allowed to change the data must be verifiable publicly otherwise false data could also be updated. It isn't easy as it sounds to be honest.

So with blockchain technology growing and adoption coming quickly, we are obviously going to see large industries like healthcare, banking, and law enforcement begin to utilize the strengths of blockchain.
Can you quote any real-life examples of the same? There are a lot of news and media coverage but have you ever come across a real-life hospital putting any of their processes on blockchain yet? Curious your thoughts on how blockchain could benefit the healthcare industry and why. A great use case that I can think of right of the bat, is protection of patient data, making it immutable once stored.
Patient data should be mutable man! What if the patient suffered a condition in the past that he doesn't suffer anymore? The data should be updated. Yes, we don't have to replace the previous record but definitely, need to update it.

Can you by any chance discuss the details/sample of this license publicly? Does this involves paying tax to the respective country's system? What is the validity of these licenses? By any chance do casinos running on this license are allowed to request personal identification documents?
