1281  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: App developers: Can you create a consumer app that uses blockchain technology an on: August 02, 2018, 09:15:26 PM
The documentation links if anyone wants to participate

Android : https://github.com/kinecosystem/kin-ecosystem-android-sdk
Ios: https://github.com/kinecosystem/kin-ecosystem-ios-sdk

What I failed to understand is, your API provides stuff to be done on the app like listing transactions but doesn't it provide an API to create our own smartContract which the app will run on? If yes, what does it runs under? Ethereum?
Kin is just a marketplace or does it actually help build apps based on smart-contracts by providing a mobile-friendly API?
1282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 28, 2018, 01:35:56 PM
I don't know whether this argument is true or not. I know a few of these gambling addicts (some of whom happens to be my friends). These people are definitely not lonely or dissatisfied with their lives.

That is the problem about this Gambling addicts, they look really happy or cheerful on the outside but inside? They are really broken. I know because I had some experience in the past like that. They gamble since we did not know that his mother is suffering from a disease and he wants to help her, he gave some money sometimes but most of the time, he can't since he lost a lot.
Not really, I haven't seen Dan Bilzerian depressed, ever. Not everybody has the same mental state, only weak and emotional minds tend to get depressed and cry over loses. Real gamblers should take it as a sport and face the consequences without any emotional attachments.
1283  Economy / Lending / Re: I offeer loan for Steemit account on: July 28, 2018, 01:33:26 PM
I offer loan in any altcoins for collateral Steemit account. The message here for details and plan for pay.
So I make a new Steemit account and share the details with you, I get paid? That doesn't seem like a bad offer.  Lips sealed

P.S. : Anybody willing to fall for this please refrain from sending him your account details as chances are you will never get the account back. Also, if used as collateral, use a reputed escrow to hold the account.
1284  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Coincrate.net | Get paid to do Offers, Surveys, Games, Quizes [High pay] on: July 28, 2018, 01:31:13 PM
Most of the survey, offer completion sites I have used without bitcoin always turned out to be a waste except sharecash/peecash to name a few.  Does your service guarantee payments? What are the minimum withdrawal limits?

 - I'm not particularly interested but if you have referral income, I might be able to get a few leads.
1285  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1 MAN 560+ accounts on forum, Millions of tokens abused. on: July 28, 2018, 01:28:13 PM
I doubt one person is able to do this, it's most likely a team of abusers working together.

It's not so hard, since we have no Ip restriction is quite easy, one bot to rule them all.

Well they most likely are newbies. I think bounties should at least have some rank restrictions in all of the campaigns. Secondly form should be properly started restricting multiple registrations and bot attack.

Good catch @coinlocket$
- That depends on the bounty manager who is managing the bounty.
- 80% of the bounties around bitcointalk are run by newbie Russian bounty managers who have no fuckin clue what they're doing.
- They just want their projects to be shared with as many numbers of participants as possible without considering the quality of it and what harms it brings to the forum.
- A rule on bitcointalk which would only allow bounties to be run by a set of campaign managers should accomplish this.
1286  Economy / Services / Re: [hire] how to add more than 200 member to a Telegram channel? on: July 28, 2018, 01:24:00 PM
HI

im hiring a developer who be able to pass 200 add up limit to telegram channel!

recently ive noticed some channels, add others people in their channels without permission of the users.

P.s: i dont wanna buy fake users! i need software to be able add other members (with id same as adding in groups) by myself

Pm me if you can

First off, it's not "illegal" as such but it certainly against a telegram users private policies. I wouldn't want to be getting added to random groups without my permission. If a bot or software does that without asking me first, I will report the group and probably blame the service to run a fraudulent operation.
1287  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Margin trading on bitmex on: July 28, 2018, 01:20:28 PM
Been considering trading on bitmex, heard its profitable if you are a good market analyst, how true is it?
Nothing is guaranteed profitable no matter which exchange you are trading on. I have heard people making good profits by leveraging trades on bitmex though. If you're a good market analyst, you can make profits on any exchange. The answer to your question however, it's highly subjective.
1288  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: DO NOT USE BTCFROG.COM TO GENERATE BITCOIN QR CODES! on: July 28, 2018, 12:33:53 PM
Do not use them. It gives you the QR code for their donation wallet instead. I don't know how they got to literally the third result on Google but they're wankers. Just sent $200 dollars to them by accident. Aaargh!
That's some neat way to scam lol I wonder how many addresses were generated against their own wallets.
Lesson Learned: Use your own QR code generators using an open source project https://github.com/soldair/node-qrcode Either way, it's always a safe practice to re-verify the generated QR code on your end first.
1289  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io - Now accepting Ethereum!⚽ 🏆 Top Booster Price Boost Promo 🎉 on: July 28, 2018, 08:58:13 AM
Hmmm. If this site is rejecting withdrawals made by users and asking them to supply documents, this is just increasing my feeling this site is a scam. There's no reason why a sportsbook should need to ask for identity documents from customers. The point of using bitcoin is for anonymity.
That phrase is long gone in 2016. Bitcoin isn't anonymous anymore, even illegally operated services like sportsbet.io enforce KYC's to steal few satoshis from people despite of making a good amount of money from the regular customers. It's trendy in 2018, someone won more than what you expect to give them? Fuck them over with the KYC policies. The only end to this drama is to boycott them out of here.

Hi dulenziya,

Please note that we have sent you a PM. Rest assured that our support staff will investigate in partnership with you.
Sure, you guys are certain to fuck him over with the KYC documents until one day he gives up and forgets about his money.

1290  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the cost of building an ICO website: on: July 28, 2018, 08:50:09 AM
the cheapest way to build an ICO website is just to hire freelance. Hire freelancer, build your website and then hire seriously someone who is really PRO in building websites. There are a lot of good developers (freelancers) who can really be very helpful, creative and cheap. You will definitely save money that you can use it in the feature for upgrading the website.
And who would take the website seriously if they don't have competent developers on the team? When investors invest in a company, they surely take the in-house tech team into consideration. It's okay to get the templates but building the fully functional ICO should be left to the in-house developers.
1291  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Coinbase launches crypto gift card on: July 28, 2018, 07:03:47 AM
The company integrated WeGift so users are able to buy gift cards using their coinbase wallet.  It's instant and no fee, you can use Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Btrash. The sad news is, it's currently only available in the U.K., France, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy.
(you need to log in your account to see the full list of retailers

https://wegift.io/coinbase/

I'm okay with it using as an alternative as long as I can buy PSN network gift cards for my country. Right now, the only way I can buy a PSN subscription is through Amazon US. However, I would avoid coinbase at all costs if there is a better service just specializing in gift cards.

This is a good initiative in my opinion. It's got decent discounts on gift card purchases while still retaining the trust and legitimacy of buying gift cards from a trusted source instead of from a random person, which is probably going to be fraudulent.
Look at the bigger picture, you are forced to create a bitcoin address there and they control your private keys. Just like a Bank giving you a free credit card with massive discounts on a number of products. You are hooked to the product.

Exactly this. I don't really see this attracting any new customers to coinbase per se, but it'll just be a convenient and trusted way of obtaining gift cards using BTC, something of a grey area if you deal with someone p2p.
You would prefer a service that just sells giftcards for bitcoins over coinbase right? Of course the cards will be legally obtained.
1292  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Seeking Feedback On Idea (Crypto Newsletter) on: July 28, 2018, 06:56:30 AM
I've lately been toying around with the idea of a crypto newsletter, perhaps daily or weekly. Maybe just news is covered, OG or reposted content, reviews, etc. Not really sure yet, just an idea.
In 2018, newsletters are a no no! We certainly want a good, no images, no advertisements blog which curates news from reputed sources. Avoiding ICO related stuff is a big plus. Something like hacker news for bitcoin/cryptos. Unfortunately, every curation site that I come across is filled with unwanted advertisements which are a turn-off.
1293  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ubiatarplay bounty scam: Let be unite to file a law case against them on: July 28, 2018, 06:41:36 AM
Hi guys,

Ubiatarplay is making a fun of its bounty team. They are paying only 5% of the bounty budget. No communication from the team, no clarification even.
Lets be unite and file a law case against this fraud company, We have a plan if you are victim of the same connect us on the telegram group:

This is a bounty project which cheated many legendry/hero ,memebrs in signature campaign. Join our group and prepare for legal process against them. Pm me..

lol why do you idiots think bounty is your privilege? Did they escrow the amount? No. Are they operating legally? No. Did you sign an employment contract with them? No. Why do you think Law will ever work in your favor? Bounty whoring is a risky job and you're taking a risk by participating in it anyway.

i think idea just amazing. The bounty people will benefit quite a lot. If the law is passed, then the Bounty people can be more secure concerning their payment. Want to know more about this law.
"Bounty People" - The scum on the forum typically what we refer to as a shit posting army. Go tell the law officers you were going to get paid for sharing links of a page on your fake facebook account with 5000 fake friends.
1294  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: What to do when Yobit does not answer? on: July 28, 2018, 06:37:11 AM
It's almost a week since I can not log in to my yobit account because I do not receive their authentication code.
I wrote 4 emails but alas no response from them.
YoShit is not a reliable exchange and this has been proved multiple times. Why didn't you get alerted and change your preferences then? The fact is, you guys think everything is fine until it happens to you. I only wish people would take this board seriously.

As a matter of fact. if you are online NOW. just go to yobit and check troll chat and you will see for yourself people having your SAME problem and complaining but nobody listens
Why people even trade there? Literally, I don't see any reason why one should use that scammy exchange anyway!
1295  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts in signature bounty on: July 27, 2018, 03:23:18 PM
Well, i've got it.
I don't have enough evidence except 10-20 minutes span in registration, 1 language and 3 hours interval of logout on 20th of july.
I will keep an eye on them to have more proofs.
You shouldn't wait for the DT to take an action, just report the accounts to their campaign manager and see where it goes from there. Also, what kind of campaign manager allows newbies to join a signature campaign?

I'm guessing this account is their campaign manager: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1559357

From the looks of it, the campaign manager himself looks like a shit poster with 1200 posts and 0 merits.
1296  Other / Off-topic / Re: should we all be using encrcypted email ProtonMail? on: July 26, 2018, 10:22:10 PM
I use my own domain name and use Roundcube. I don't get annoying advertisements, I am not tracked, I am not sold to a 3rd party my emails are not stored on several servers. My mailbox is clean and efficient
You sure? Even if you are using your own domain, you certainly bought it from one of the service providers such as go-daddy/name-cheap which do keep a track, don't they? You definitely get a clean mailbox but if you actually start using that email for stuff like online purchases, you will be sold. I mean, own domain wouldn't provide that kind of security or do they?

Just wondering what most people here use for their email in relation to everything cryptocurrency, an encrypted open source email like ProtonMail or gmail?
Every other email service out there provides encrypted emails. The question is, to what extent?

THE NETWORK IS DEAD
ACH NOT BUY BOICOT THIS THIEF
Could you list out the exchange you used to transfer the coins? Is destiny some kind of wallet? To be honest, you should just ask the exchange to delist the coin. Dead nodes are really out of the control of exchanges especially if the coin is as dead as yours.

How many coins did you buy though?
I bought 30k
Do you mean 30k USD? Shocked They seem to have a responsive discord community you can join the group and try messaging the core devs there https://discordapp.com/invite/Dt4gDJe Unfortunately, nothing much can be done if devs have given up on the project already. No harm in sharing your issues there though. I'm pretty sure you're not the only one.

Bump.
Is this like the official "Bump" crypto-games.net thread have ever witnessed in the history of its existence? Quite not used to see the thread leave the main page whatsoever. And probably the only thread which doesn't need any shills to keep it at the top!  Smiley

1300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Idea for quickly stopping scams on: July 26, 2018, 09:28:58 PM
Hello, I have noticed that several people had been scammed by projects that appears in this board. If they had read this board... maybe they didnt get scammed. So I created a Telegram channel and twiiter account for that purpose.
So you by following you on twitter we can predict the end of all scams on bitcointalk? Could you link me to a single scam service that you have busted?

Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic. There are less views in scams accusations section. Maybe the new people doesnt know about this board. And probably that is happening because this board is located in
Those views are not accurate and don't determine anything. New users are lazy enough to not do their research before sending their bitcoins to shady services. They do learn from their mistakes but we get a new wave of newbies falling to the same sam all over again.

maybe if you change this board to the section alternative cryptocurrencies that will be a more powerful tool to stopping scams
Makes sense. That board could have its own scam accusation section.

Even you dont need to move any section, in bounties section. With only one pinned topic that says for example Confirmed Scams would be enough to descourage most of the scammers
But that list at times is highly subjective and it is not a bad option. I remember this list https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1978151.0 was stickied once but don't know why it was removed.
