541  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FABLE] The Resurrection of YoBit on: April 20, 2019, 12:55:47 AM
My big question here is since there are quite a few scam accusations against them, no official account is really active, and they're gonna allow spammers to go nuts what is everyone's opinion of joining the campaign?
I'd say DT should tag everyone who joins their signature campaign as they're technically a scam. Maybe they will take the accusations seriously then.

Also on a side note, I have sent a support message on their platform voicing my concerns of having no official manager or at least spam checker to watch over participants.
I think no reputed person will be interested in doing that since they will be taking a risk of managing a scam service which can end up in negative feedback for the manager.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the future HODL? on: April 19, 2019, 10:09:17 PM
Unfortunately, there is a very small portion of the community that belongs to 'Do Not Trade Your Freedom' group. The majority doesn't care. Imagine this, Jack hears about bitcoins from his neighbor next door and keeps hearing things like bitcoin make people rich. Jack googles 'buy bitcoins' and he is convinced to buy it from coinbase or other 100 other shitty exchanges. All jack cares about is doubling his money.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India declines Bitcoin Legalization Again on: April 19, 2019, 10:01:38 PM
Do you think Bitcoin being legalized will still happen for Indians?
Doesn't matter. What do you mean by legalized? Will users have to pay taxes on the usage of bitcoin then? Or the exchanges will be controlled by the government? I think it's better the way it is. Bitcoin is still booming regardless of whatever decisions RBI makes.

I'm guessing for that they would have to allow exchangers returning to online business again.
Exchanges based out of India are scams anyway. I hope the Indian government bans them first.
544  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto-Games.net ⭐ 4 Years Old ⭐ No bet delay on dice every Monday! ⭐ on: April 19, 2019, 09:51:55 PM
crypto-games motto should be:" one day a week, were awesome! the other 6 days we suck!"

never slow down someone who's willing to bet
Maybe it's your internet connection lol

Oh come on, the bet speed is already decent if you bet with, say, 100 sats.
I don't understand why you would bet with less than that, it's not worth it, for me at least.
Oh, don't mind him. He has a love-hate relationship with crypto-games and periodically he has mood swings which are thrown in this section. He is a very loyal player though lol
545  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: CoinSwitch Is Integrated Into MetaMask Wallet on: April 19, 2019, 09:46:35 PM
Your service seems to be quite established. Why would you hire shills to promote your website? This account https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=2554589 creates post only with the purpose of linking them to your service which obviously means they're getting rewarded for it. Shilling isn't encouraged here. I'll have to start reporting his posts.
546  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: A set of developers needed for a long term project on: April 19, 2019, 09:42:38 PM
I'll tell you why good developers wouldn't work with you.

1. There is no source of income at the moment. Everything is on papers that is, nothing is guaranteed to work.
2. Good developers wouldn't want to invest time for anything. If the project doesn't work out for whatever reasons, they will not get paid for their time right?
3. You can always fire freelancers, pay them upfront or use an escrow if you really believe your idea will work.
547  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Prediction website for sale with backend software on: April 19, 2019, 09:38:14 PM
The website www.bitcoinfreecasino is for sale.   Its a turn key operation set up in 2015 but I havnt had time to run it.   Backend is all set up, all it needs is somebody to promote it and run it.    Price is 2 bitcoins.
You can't just give it a price out of thin air. Stats, number of visitors, technologies and other stuff should contribute to the final pricing. From the information provided above, the website isn't making any profits and there is no front-end to see what it actually looks like (if you ever created one).
548  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: MoneyBadger.io | Opportunity for new owner on: April 19, 2019, 08:32:36 PM
I don't know why everyone is so inclined towards stats and the number of visitors. The concept is great, all the core functionalities are implemented, the only thing to do is revamp the design and market it. 1BTC is a very reasonable price for the code and of course, it is deployed!

Good Luck with the sale OP!
549  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BITCOIN ATM SOFTWARE NEEDED on: April 19, 2019, 08:25:07 PM
Very difficult to find one indeed since most of the hardware shipped is designed according to the software requirement. You should probably contact the maker of that hardware to know where to buy the respective software from? No one really develops such software if they don't have access to the same hardware. The reason being, every key on the ATM has to be binded with the specific functionality which only native developers can be good at.
550  Other / Archival / Re: I will create your bitcointalk ANN thread today on: April 19, 2019, 08:15:48 PM
Contact me via telegram @eduhold or via gmail:blockchainexpert46@gmail.com
This should be forbidden. Only scam ICO or services use others to create threads for them. Don't confuse this with the thread design or posting images (since one can easily buy a copper member account). I don't understand why any legit service provider would like to have a stranger to control their main service thread?
551  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FABLE] The Resurrection of YoBit on: April 19, 2019, 08:05:55 PM
Does this mean we're witnessing the start of another bubble? I was kinda getting used to the less-than-50k-posts-a-day version of Bitcointalk.
Yeah, this is how the Philippines & Indonesian army is gearing up at the moment.

Context:

YoBit campaign has restarted and there is no thread. They sent emails to announce the beginning of their campaign, which has a reward that maximizes at 20 posts/day. This is just calling for spam.
Well, prepare yourself bois, you gotta a shit ton of reporting to do. Also, I feel so left out since they keep spamming me with their ICO and other events in my email but no notification was sent regarding this. Sad
552  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multi-Accounts Joining Same Campaigns on: April 19, 2019, 08:00:38 PM
stfu you Curry Nigger thinking youre all powerful
who died and made you king
stupid Punjab you live in india youre nothing but a stupid Slurpee Jockey
Did you just create a new account to post that? Either way, thanks for investing all your time to dig out those irrelevant details. Grow a pair and be audacious enough to post from your main account. Otherwise, it makes you look like a cunt who's too afraid to share his opinions.
553  Economy / Reputation / Re: VegasCasino.io Shill + Merit Abuser [Updated DT Needed] on: April 13, 2019, 11:42:46 AM
Tagging won't help. Nuking accounts won't help either since most of them are newbies easy to create one. What mods should do is nuke their service off bitcointalk.

I can create a large number of forum accounts and shill Crypto-Games.net with them. Should Crypto-Games then be nuked off of bitcointalk?
Do you have a better solution?

Another account was born today who started shilling for the casino with their first post. At this point, I think they're using bots to create accounts and post garbage data.

554  Economy / Lending / Re: BTC / ETH / BCH Loans 0% - Small Short Term Loans Only - Reputable Members Only on: April 13, 2019, 11:37:41 AM
Choose who you lend to very carefully. Even legendary members with good trusted feedback and a reputation around the forum have unpaid loans. Like don't fall for trust or ranks, your 'little help' will be taken advantage of. Always secure a loan with collateral even if the interest rate is 0%.
555  Economy / Reputation / Re: Buy/Sell Reddit upvote, Legal or illegal? on: April 13, 2019, 11:08:24 AM
I think we shouldn't really care about stuff like Likes, Upvotes, followers not only for Reddit but for other common social media platforms as well. The social media sites are well aware of bots abusing the system and they don't really have any strict measures to control it. Like why should we be so much concerned when the website developers aren't? This is also because no matter how strict the rules are, people will always find a way to cheat the system.
556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any real use for bank-backed cryptocurrency ? on: April 13, 2019, 11:04:12 AM
Beginning with the fact that cryptocurrency was originally built in some sort as a mean to avoid banks and the bureacracy related to those kind of thing, is there any use for bank to launch their crypto, why would people who are searching for a non-centralized way to manage their asset to join centralization expert like JPM or other
Banks can put their operations on blockchain but that would be a private blockchain! They will never run a public ledger because if they did, no one will like to open accounts there. I mean why would you want everyone to know what your bank balance is?
557  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Want an easier way to transfer your coins? on: April 13, 2019, 10:59:52 AM
But it's true that most services who use whois guard are shady, so approach with caution.
I disagree with that. Having a guard doesn't necessarily mean they're trying to operate a shady business. They can also be hiding for privacy reasons which are totally fine in the crypto environment. I personally would hide my domains with WhoIsGuard even if I'm running a simple bitcoin price calculator online.
558  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multi-Accounts Joining Same Campaigns on: April 13, 2019, 10:55:25 AM
snip

If you are not willing to do it yourself you should keep your advices to yourself I guess.
Advising others on what they should do? Much hypocritical isn't it? Why don't you do it if it's much of a concern to you? Stop derailing the thread, please.

I notified some BM's that I'm familiar with. I only checked two campaigns with no KYC that I know of but I'm pretty sure there are more. It'll take a lot of time if I check all campaigns they joined. Now that they've been red tagged, it's up to the bm's to find out why and decide whether they'll still accept those accounts.
Yes, my point was if the bounty manager still doesn't take any actions against them then we should categorize them as terrible bounty managers who appreciate such behavior.
559  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multi-Accounts Joining Same Campaigns on: April 13, 2019, 10:41:33 AM
Additionally, you should contact the bounty manager of that project and let them know about the issue. They should get kicked out of the campaign and other bounties if the manager is legit. I'm sure the bounty manager will be too lazy to see their negative feedback and keep paying them.

Why not do it yourself?
Is that a request or a command? The reason I won't do it because

a. I'll have to reinvest time to verify the details and find links to the subject which OP pretty much did.
b. If someone starts a thread or an accusation, they should make sure to do all that is required to weed it out from the root.
560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Heard of Crypto Games Conference in Belarus? on: April 13, 2019, 10:37:12 AM
That's interesting! Can't believe they are having a conference on a business where owners like to stay anonymous. I wonder how many casino owners will actually attend it.

Main topics to be discussed are crypto games, iGaming, and ecosystems and services. Expect crypto games like VR, RPG, mobile, collectibles and more to be discussed, then there's esports, casino, poker etc. on blockchain.
Yeah, I think stuff like KYC, Licensing, Scams should also be on that list.
