781  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: my investments are hard-forked. Is it a scam? on: January 19, 2019, 03:30:04 PM
You're likely being scammed from the information you've put up here. Which miners? Why are the miners responsible for your investments? Where did you find them? Why did you think sending money to a miner was a good idea?  The linkedin account seems fake. Give us a point of origin to understand your problem please.
782  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance and centralization on: January 19, 2019, 03:22:31 PM
99% of the traders give two shits about decentralization. Hell, they don't even bother creating a wallet outside of an exchange wallet. It is of least concerns to them. Binance already has data about their customers due to the KYC policies. I used the service once but not planning to use it ever again. Doesn't matter how decentralized they claim their service is as long as it's controlled by their trademark it will always have a centralized structure.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to invest BTC other than in casino bankrolls? on: January 19, 2019, 03:17:39 PM
I'm looking for places to invest BTC. Are there any decent options other than casinos?

It's possible to lend BTC at Bitfinex and Poloniex, but interest rates are ridiculously low. What else is there that isn't an evident scam (like ponzi schemes)?
- Lending is not a wise investment, it never was except if you are a well-established lender on bitcointalk.
- You can trade and stuff but that would be such a cliche reply.
- Invest in a project or a product. There are many new projects which look out for investments. You could be a bitcoin venture capitalist.
- Invest in the coin itself if you know what I mean.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATMs should target developing and third world countries on: January 19, 2019, 03:11:41 PM
Lot's of Bitcoin ATMs keep popping in the developed countries such as US, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong etc. But I have been thinking why don't the owner's target countries without much economic stability? Like Venezuela (btw they just got their first Bitcoin ATM). That would increase the adoption. Something like backpropagation. What do you think?
Because maintenance cost of the ATM's will be higher than compared to the profits in a third world country. Venezuela is a different case. Consider other third world countries like India where lot of people don't have access to the Internet and it will be a waste to implement bitcoin ATM's there. Might work out in the metropolitan cities though.
785  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Tag the user who are supporting ICO's with fake team/ plagiarised content. on: January 19, 2019, 03:05:32 PM
Just going around tagging users without proper reasoning isn't a way to go about it. That's a misuse of the DT privileges.

Just come on mind when I had check my untrusted feedback. Those scammer I have tagged obviously they will leave me negative feedback. Never mind if they do. But during checking time I have noticed someone left me negative feedback but I never tagged him. Then I checked his post history and found he is a project supporter who have used fake team. Then I have visited the main ANN thread and I found 2 account they are supporting that project. So I tagged both of them. Just he remind me to tag by his feedback. Lol.
Aren't you sort of retaliating here? You never cared about leaving the feedback when you were not on the DT and suddenly you feel it's necessary to tag them? Illogical. Tag them because they're wrong and not because they left you a feedback.

Whoever exposed fake team/plagiarized content, please leave a reply on their main thread with your Accusation thread link. So that investors and others will know it. After that if you found someone else bumping with , great project and great team or someone defending them reply on this thread with archive link or PM me. I will tag them. Never mind if they are newbie or legendary.
Legendary users don't shill for such projects. Without proofs, you can't tag members.
786  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: LocalBitcoins Scheduled Maintenance on Monday [Don't Freak Out] on: January 19, 2019, 02:50:47 PM
Thanks for your info. Smiley

Is there any warning notice sent by the LBC via email about this maintenance? I am also registered but didn't get any news regarding this while surfing LBC on mobile.
The best thing I love about LBC is they don't spam your emails with unwanted stuff. They haven't sent any notice on email but posted an image on Facebook. I'm assuming they did post the news on twitter a well. Just dropping an image below for reference.

787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Anybody Selling Grin yet? on: January 19, 2019, 02:48:01 PM

ive read the thread about grin and i found out that you trade grin on here > https://bisq.network

not sure if you already know it ?

Quote

The best way to trade grin is using Bisq: https://bisq.network  ,  Bisq is a self-hosted, P2P decentralized exchange without KYC, routed through Tor.  It is more involved than a centralized exchange, but the benefits are abundant. Please start getting familiar ASAP!

you can read more here > https://tmgox.com/exchange/

you can also mine grin here > https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090427.0

Jesus Christ those exchanges have the weirdest domains I have seen. I'm not sure trading on them is a wise choice. Thanks for your time though.

Don't have some but some updates on what are the exchange listings are on their forum.

https://www.grin-forum.org/c/market
I went through that page but not most of them are functioning now actively. I think I have better chances of buying from someone who is mining it at the moment.
788  Economy / Service Discussion / LocalBitcoins Scheduled Maintenance on Monday [Don't Freak Out] on: January 19, 2019, 02:30:58 PM
Just posting here because many of you traders will freak out once you open LBC on Monday and notice the site is down. I also assume there would be a number of threads popping here regarding the same. According to LBC, they're carrying scheduled maintenance on Monday from 7AM UTC for 3 hours. Services should resume normally after then.

Cheers
789  Economy / Gambling / Re: Exclusive interview: Nick Garner, Oshi Casino CEO on: January 19, 2019, 02:27:44 PM
AFAIK most of the famous bitcoin-based casino owners love to be anonymous and not reveal their identities in public. I wonder how this guy doesn't get charged for not filing taxes or running shady operations because the moment you get commercial with cryptos, the government starts following your ass.
790  Economy / Services / Re: installing peatio needed on: January 19, 2019, 02:21:24 PM
About the payment, I think we should find an escrow,
I doubt he will need an escrow when trading with you. Your feedback is certainly worth risking $100 lol @OP Let me know if it due to any unforeseen circumstances it doesn't work out you Yogg then I'd be happy to install it for you.
791  Economy / Lending / Re: Need loan 3 btc (Going through divorce need pay lawyer) on: January 19, 2019, 02:14:19 PM
Lol you could actually go for a pro deo lawyer if you do not have the funds. Those guys work for free and are paid by the government. So you do not need 3BTC for a lawyer. You even can get divorced without a lawyer as well. I did it once. So for me this is just another scam attempt fit into a sad fairytale.
lol if I was that broke and stupid no wonder my wife would want a divorce lol Man, just go your own ways until you have money to file an official divorce. Your wife wouldn't be accepting bitcoins for child care or support anyway.

Hmm, do you really think your god will listen to someone who can't keep his wife satisfied?   :/
Well, that kinda hurts. I mean satisfaction in what ways lol
792  Economy / Services / Re: FREE SPORTSBOOKS TİPS [ONLY 100 PERSON] on: January 19, 2019, 02:06:24 PM
Hello
I am giving you sport tips
I opened a discord channel for only 100 invites
HURRY UP!
https://discord.gg/cEB6cc

You should move this to the gambling discussion board https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=228.0
How can i move it ?
Sorry i don't know
Edit your thread, on the left-hand-side bottom of the page you'd have a text to move the thread to the appropriate section. You're giving out sports tips but how accurate will they be? Do you have any history of giving successful tips? What is your win percentage? Moving to the gambling or any other section won't help because you're not known to give any successful tips.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: January 18, 2019, 07:32:18 PM
I wouldn't call these betting strategies. Rather money management techniques. This wouldn't help you win big or win at all but certainly help you from going all dead broke or hitting the rock bottom. Needs a lot of patience for this shit to work out.
794  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for a team to implement the project on: January 18, 2019, 07:29:48 PM
In order to achieve something in life, you need to strive for it, and do so to be the best in your business! But not to say if! And if in a week the asteroid collides with the earth and everyone dies you need money? And if, and if. Are you joking? Live the real life! Even the most senseless project with a good team will be a success!
Being philosophical is good but I prefer people who are realistic. If the asteroid hits tomorrow, it's better to die rich than dying hungry. If it doesn't hit, you are still hungry. Money is important in life and so are the good deeds. You just don't expect random people on the internet to have either of them. It's very hard for a freelancer to take projects which are based in tokens. There is no guarantee that it will ever succeed regardless of how good the product or the team is.
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Games Survey on: January 18, 2019, 07:25:48 PM
Writing my honest (critical) opinions

1) The crypto-games niche is already saturated. Literally, our gambling site goes by that name.
2) Many previous attempts to start a gambling site based on ERC-Tokens have resulted in failure and the community just doesn't fancy them.
3)You need a massive investment plus promotion money to be recognized in the community. Even if you manage to do so, there is no guarantee you will satisfy the needs of the market.
4) In summation, rethink your choices.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Anybody Selling Grin yet? on: January 18, 2019, 07:20:41 PM
I hope I don't have to explain what Grin is. I tried looking to purchase from a few famous exchanges but none of them that I use are trading the coin currently. That's why I'm seeking out help from the community to hook me up with a few Grins if you're a holder already. It's obvious I won't deal without an escrow. Drop your comments below or send me a message with the rates. I'll contact the right person with my offer.
797  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ADDISON CHURCHILL "new exchange, best at everything"?? on: January 18, 2019, 07:13:42 PM

Addison Churchill is a platform open for all sorts of people who are willing to trade their crypto with ease and convenience. Name one guy on the forum who trusted you lol . (obviously apart from your shill accounts) "Awards and accolades" - You can get real fancy with the words there but that won't change the fact that your service is a shithole developed to scam people.

Cameron
Sure sir. What would you take to go away from the forum?
798  Economy / Gambling / Re: Looking for an investor, everything is planned. on: January 18, 2019, 07:09:29 PM
Dear All,

I am in the online gambling community since Nov 2010.
I've been a marketing manager and a community manager at a few sites which can be provided with references @Telegram.
I'm seeking for a investor or a group of people who'd like to invest into my project. The full details will be given @Telegram.
The amount I'm looking for is 10.000 USD for 10% of the project. You'll get your money back in less then 3 months and you'll be able to gain profit after it.
I'm gonna give you full details regarding what I'm doing with the money, you'll be a part of the investor team, you'll get much higher rate of the profits untill you get your investment back so it's gonna be most likely earlier then you'll expect.
I know 101% what the gamblers are looking for, we're not gonna do a Player vs House game, we will have a Player vs Player game so the investors cannot lose any money if a player wins.

@AnythingByExcelsior on Telegram

Best regards,
Excelsior

799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet. The Honest Casino - No Fees, 100+ altcoins, BTC + more soon. on: January 18, 2019, 07:06:39 PM
The guy who he was talking to is IRL friends with the owner. We treat our customers with care & with full support, through live-support.
You want us to believe that? If the owner doesn't care about politeness on the chat, I wonder how the future of this chat is going to be. Either way, I did what I had to do, rest is upto the community to decide. Best of luck with your venture.
800  Economy / Reputation / Re: A very organised petty scam [I almost fell for it] on: January 18, 2019, 07:04:54 PM
I'm not sure almost falling for this deserves any merit   Grin:Smiley. I have little sympathy for anyone who gets suckered into these sorts of things though as it's the absolutely classic scam that only the greedy fall for. It has all the hallmarks that should set alarm bells off for anyone: Double your money. Quick, offer only lasts for short amount of time. Just send money here first to verify. Why would any company offer to magically increase your money for nothing but require something first?

The old adage if it sounds too good to be true should immediately spring to mind. Did anyone send any money to the address?
Apparently, they made around 0.37 BTC assuming the transactions were sent by the poor fellas. The comment, however, is deleted. I didn't exactly mean that I felt for it but I gave it a second thought because it wasn't as obvious to me in the first look. Also, I thought to exaggerate it would get more attention and probably make noobs aware of the scam.
