Thank you, this is amazing. I am not sure how to give you reputation but I'm very grateful.
You can't. You need merits to give his answer an upvote which you don't have. Glad you find it helpful though.

i can do that and also moderate that thread for you if you want , just dm me on telegram https://t.me/titanslayerz
Sure. You are willing to do something which they can do himself by buying a copper membership. You should help people instead of taking their lack of awareness as a business opportunity.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks are maintaining dependence on: November 03, 2018, 12:08:49 PM
slowly but surely everyone is getting involved in their own ways. mostly they are only adopting the technology so this news may be hinting at creation of some bank-created-token based on blockchain technology. which means they need to develop the infrastructure first here!
*Their centralized ways - to be specific. Why banks don't understand the simple concept? We don't want banks. We want open source protocols and not a bunch of cocky human beings who look at my face before accepting my transaction.

but like always i also believe that the banks will eventually adopt bitcoin and start adapting their services (loans, cards, savings account,...) to bitcoin so they will need something like this in place.
granted that would still be a silly thing in a decentralized world where bitcoin was created so that we no longer need banks but many newcomers still don't understand that and would want a bank-like service, example: the large usage of coinbase!
I doubt we will ever meet the bitcoin's full potential that way. Coinbase is another centralized bank which is run online. The only difference is, they deal with cryptos and not fiat.
1023  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever bought bitcoin on this site? on: November 03, 2018, 12:03:22 PM

I found this site "www.instantbit.co" and it looks pretty good to me because the mining fees are very low. Has anyone ever bought from them?

Their payment method is payline

Like someone pointed out, the developers didn't bother using an SSL certificate on a business where money is involved.

The website doesn't have information about the point of contact or the person who is running it. Most certainly it's one person than the entire team. He just initiates trades from his source and makes margins out of the sell orders on localBitcoins. No, this isn't a right website to buy bitcoins. There is no guarantee if you will get your bitcoins or even it's safe using your credit cards there.
1024  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitrated: Bringing trust back to Bitcoin on: November 03, 2018, 11:58:02 AM
Hi guys!,

Bitcoin has been criticized about its lack of regulatory system and trust was questionable when making Bitcoin transactions.

In answer to this issue, Bitcoin startup Bitrated provides consumer protection and fraud prevention mechanisms for Bitcoin. It added a trust layer on top of the blockchain technology.

How do you see Bitrated for Bitcoin? Please let us know your thoughts about it. Smiley
- The website linked doesn't work. Try putting the absolute URL in the post.

- The fact that there is a startup to interfere in an open source protocol sounds centralized as hell. No one cares about the good or bad the service has to offer provided they're going to control the free audience.

- Not saying people shouldn't agree with whatever they're doing but I personally won't take the venture seriously.
1025  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: User Dannyjr is a SCAMMER! STAY AWAY! Proofs inside!!! on: November 03, 2018, 11:47:09 AM
That guy made scamming look real easy. It just took him one bogs thread and 2 minutes everyday to bump it.Like what made you think he actually has stuff and is willing to sell it to you without running away with your monies.

Every day learning man from legends like you Smiley ...
Trying to build trust and relationships here man...and seems that I don't pick the right people all the time...
But if this post helps someone to stay away from this fucking scammer....than I'm happy.
It really isn't about picking the right people or anything. It's about trading without using a trusted middleman. You know, from my experience, even after his account gets tagged people would still fall for his tactics. The victims are newies outside of this forum who don't take the red trust seriously. This is how the scamming business survives.

1027  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Anyone interested in buying a working (unpublished) crypto app? on: November 02, 2018, 11:49:21 PM
The thing is that you're probably never going to be able to get the app published in the App Store or Google Play, right?
They're never going to allow a crypto investment app, at least that's what I would think.
If the app is actually that good and abides by all the government required  KYC policies, it can be published in the app stores just like how exchanges are hosted there. I mean if it's really worthy, people wouldn't mind downloading the source files lol

Perhaps someone else could comment on this, since I've personally never released an app, so I'm not completely sure what the review process entails.
It's simple, they don't give a damn as long as you're not directly stealing from people. There are many gambling apps in the market which are run by unlicensed casinos.
1028  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Online Embassy 2.0 | bitcoinonlineembassy.com | btc-embassy.com | on: November 02, 2018, 11:42:01 PM
Looks really interesting. What is the practical usage of this application? Are we allowed to trade/gamble/bet in there? The design, UI is aesthetically put! Seems like there is so much potential in the project. (Only if I knew what I'm planning to do with exchange order data updates)
1029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Finally - Khabib the Eagle vs Floyd MayWeather on: November 02, 2018, 11:32:56 PM
Thanks for all your constructive input boys! Indeed this isn't finalized yet but there are talks that they will have a two-way match - 1 in a boxing ring and other MMA. Nothing is certain though. From the comments I could make out Khabib is winning both of them. Grin
1030  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 0.008 btc loan, 14 days, Collateral 800 CARDANO on: November 01, 2018, 11:03:11 PM
Loan Amount: 0.008 BTC
Amount to be repaid: 0.0088 BTC
Repayment Date: 16 nov 2018(Maybe before)
Type of Collateral: 800 ADA(Cardano)  Coin
Bitcoin Address: 1FTboVjnYhQyJRKSfpz1cBvPTEXydm3ZCW
That doesn't qualify as a valid collateral. If I'm not wrong CDA is currently being traded at 800 ADA == 56 USD. (I'm not sure if it's actually accepted by any good exchanges)

Your loan asking amount is about 0.008 btc == 50 USD. Collateral should be 120% of the loan asked for and not 100.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Finally - Khabib the Eagle vs Floyd MayWeather on: November 01, 2018, 10:56:51 PM
How many of you got the news? The Russian bear wresting beast is finally up to take on self-proclaimed wannabe boxer GayWather this May. More info about the event can be found online (Sorry for not linking the sources as I'm not able to find them at the moment). The update I saw was on Khabib's official page about this event on May 2019. Just thought of you guys know to plan your bets in advance.

PS: It would be great if anyone can link to that post.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Men only. Are you daring enough to have a boob job to complete a bet? on: November 01, 2018, 10:46:52 PM
So, during my browsing of the internet and I've again fell down the rabbit hole into the weird parts of the internet, I stumbled upon an article about a gambler who had breast implants to complete a bet. He walked away with $100,000 in 1996, which was a lot of money back then and even today. The bet parameters involve that he get breast implants and leave it for one year, however the guy fell in love with it and only had it removed after 20 years (in 2016).
Getting breast implants in 1996 would be a painful, expensive process with no guarantee as there weren't many medical innovations during that era. It's a challenge yes. On what cost? Your life? This isn't a gamble for money, this is a gamble for life or money. Also, I wonder if they did his breast implants for free or he had to pay it through his winnings. Maybe a good way for doctors to conduct a medical experiment?

If you were the guy, would you have done it?
I wouldn't do it even if I were a female.
1033  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Exchange startup looking for frontend developer (HTML/CSS/JS) on: November 01, 2018, 10:36:20 PM
Is that screen in the provided link the only stuff you want to be implemented? It would hardly have 10 API calls I guess? What sort of budget are you planning to keep for this? I can assist you remotely in doing that considering the API calls are limited to 1-10. If there are more I don't really have the bandwidth to finish it within a week.
1034  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 473 Days Building a Helpful Free Crypto Site Directory - Need Help on: November 01, 2018, 10:32:35 PM
That's a simple yet very informative website. I like the styles and how information is arranged on the cards. Great, you're doing it with the intentions of helping people without the advertisements money. What I felt your website lacking is the section for Crypto-Mixers. You can list down the legit crypto mixing services and add them in one of your sections. Smiley

You should also have an indication with a red tag for the websites which currently have open scam accusations against them. It's hard to manage that but you should be doing it.
1035  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funny scam - OCTOPUS on: November 01, 2018, 10:26:43 PM
I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing. They know it's a troll project and everyone around knows the actors. If you see the details mentioned on their roadmap, you'd probably conclude it's a 12-year-old trying to learn web development. This is not a project, this is W3_Schools tutorial site for a soon to become scammer.

In fact, they are also bounty hunters (Higher level). When the project becomes scam in the end, they are also victims.
Although I don't think the Bounty Manager is responsible for the failure of the project, I just suggest that the Bounty Manager should do some screening before accepting a project.
This has been discussed over and over and every time it ends with the same conclusion: Bounty whores are equally responsible for promoting a scam project when they don't do their 'due diligence' before joining a bounty.

For bounty managers read this topic: To Bounty Managers - How I do my due diligence for ICOs
Says who? A scammer himself?
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this sound realistic? on: October 20, 2018, 12:46:18 PM
Sometimes, when we talk about professional gamblers, I actually have only seen most people who just managed to get lucky at the end of it all, and in that case, when you have to compare that to a lot of people who were never lucky, you will get more of the latter than the former.
Not the case with Dan Bilzerian. Or is it? I have seen videos of him sharing his tactics. I mean the guy's a billionaire from gambling.

People tend to make the mistake of trying to want to win something big from gambling because they have heard some people winning huge amount of money, but one thing I want to clarify is that, when 1 person is winning, 99 others are really losing badly which is why the chances of winning will always be something difficult to come by.
Yep, it's called survivorship bias. People only take the winning or successful events seriously ignoring the majority of unsuccessful attempts.
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: Potential Gambling Site Leak on: October 20, 2018, 12:41:44 PM
BitDice noticed a large spike in bruteforce attempts with a large number of valid email addresses. We suspect that the attacker may have been using a list of leaked credentials from another gambling website due to the large number of valid email addresses. We wanted to inform the public and also advise everyone to always use unique passwords across multiple websites to prevent these types of attacks from being successful.

We may publish a starred email list in the future but we are more concerned that this may have orignated from another gambling site in the community.

As always, BitDice protects your account by verifying unknown logins to help secure your account.
You might as well want to figure out where these email addresses are coming from and inform their respective website owners? Ofcourse it's hard to figure that out but putting it online maybe help service see if majority of them are used in their databases.

thats bad to hear
maybe implement a 2fa system ?
As usual, merit beggars being blind as fuck.

Chill guys, you'll are going way too hard on an 'experiment' - You'll know it isn't going anywhere.  Tongue

OP: Someone has already pointed out how you should be proving you have enough bankroll. When are you planning to do it? There is no point in doing all the technical stuff if you don't have money to pay back the winners.
1040  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitwebz.com - Buy or Sell your Websites and Domains with Bitcoin on: October 20, 2018, 12:09:05 PM
Just one question :

How can one sell their domains anonymously? Like they have their domains registered using some legit info and if they have to transfer that info, don't they have to reveal those details? Moreover, the buyer is likely to get those details from who.is information? I can be anonymous while selling a domain but can't hide from the details I used to register the domain with. You also forget to mention your service fees.
