921  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Escrow or campaign manager services and others on: December 01, 2018, 03:06:21 PM
Do you even understand what you're doing? I'm just offering free services to help people out and you're accusing me of scamming! I'm telling I can help implant a campaign because I already done it and that I can escrow funds for free easily if they're under 0.1BTC because I guess that's more or less what my account is worth!
I'm not accusing you of anything. I'm trying to tell you that the value of your account is NOT proportional to the amount you can hold as an escrow. Anyone can buy a legendary account on the forum and start offering escrow services with that logic.

What do you think happened to trusted escrow? That they came on the forum and automatically became trusted escrow?
No? They had genuine trades with a number of people on the forum over the years. They certainly didn't start offering escrow services without having notable trades on the forum.

If your point is to warn users to not trust me with 50BTC yeah thanks but I guess they already thought about it... Someone wanting to escrow large funds don't care if the service is free or not. I'm here to help new members that's all.
Good Luck
922  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Buy in Amazon with Bitcoins. on: December 01, 2018, 03:01:01 PM
Will purse.io help when we have a problem buying goods on Amazon like the items received defect physically or don't arrive at the destination?
I don't think they will. They're just the payment facilitators and have nothing to do with the suppliers or the logistics. You should be able to ask about that to the amazon customer support using the order number.

You can also use Purse[1], and you can get discounts too! I've read decent reviews about it though I really haven't tried it myself. If only Amazon doesn't charge abysmal internetional shipping fees.
Be careful there! They're having issues with refunding orders lately.
923  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Top API providers? on: December 01, 2018, 02:55:12 PM
Does anyone have an idea about which is the best service when it comes for providing API's to help retrieve info such as balance, transactions, etc?

I was thinking about using Blocktrail's one for BTC and Etherplorer for ETH but I'm not sure whether they're better alternatives or not.
What about Blockchain.info? Do you want API's accessed by just the endpoints or created for a specific programming language? To be honest, most of the third party API's come with restrictions, if you're looking to develop a commercial application, you should use the JSON RPC and that gives you more control over the API's.
924  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: December 01, 2018, 02:52:10 PM
Are you even for real? This is insane!! I don't know if this is provable fair or if I'm ever going to look at the mathematical aspects but risking  0.00056 for a Lambo is totally worth it!! Take my monies please Smiley
925  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Escrow or campaign manager services and others on: December 01, 2018, 02:46:56 PM
Here is why. Just want to help new projects.
Yeah, and the new projects certainly want an escrow with zero reputation to hold funds on their behalf when there is a pool of trusted and free escrows to choose from? But yes, it's so generous of you mate.
926  Economy / Lending / Re: $50 btc loan on: December 01, 2018, 02:44:06 PM
Do you have any collateral?
No. The only thing I have is this account
Let me rephrase that for ya : * The only thing I had is this account

Contact me

Contact number +337 58 83 76 68
That's some shady shit going on here. What can you possibly do to help them with 50 quids? Document or a collateral scammer much? It's not very difficult to get a fake European phone number on the forum.
927  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there a myetherwallet for bitcoin? on: December 01, 2018, 02:40:33 PM
Was wondering if there is any website where one can enter his private key for a btc address and access those funds.

1) You should never access a website which asks for your private key to access your funds. If you do, they will also have access to your funds along with you.
2) Why do you need a service like that? You can access your funds from an online wallet like blockchain.com?
3) The closest thing to myetherwallet for bitcoin would be bitaddress.org.

Bitaddress doesn't allow me to access an address by entering its private key.

Blockchain.com, same story. Can't enter a key and access an address as far as I can see. Can create a wallet and "login" (...).

So basically the answer is no..
Like TryNinja mentioned above, you can use Electrum for that? Hardly takes 2 minutes to set that up and it's more secure than all the online wallets. You can try this open source wallet https://coinb.in/ (at your own risk, download it offline and then use it). Blockchain.com does help you access the address by importing the private keys, here's their tutorial https://blog.blockchain.com/2014/06/18/tutorial-the-import-export-feature-in-your-blockchain-wallet/ Obviously you have to make an account first to do that.

928  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Escrow or campaign manager services and others on: December 01, 2018, 02:36:16 PM
Few trusted escrow? That list gotta be shite. You trust him, doesn't mean the entire forum does too.
You are right, I trust anyone, doesn't mean that everyone will do so. I have never used anyone as escrow except Minerjones (whom I used 1 time). While I made any trade I usually go first if another person is higher rank and reputation than me. But if that person is not higher rank and reputation than me and if cant trust me then I suggest to use escrow. And you might be most trusted forum member but I will not suggest you because you have no escrow providing announcement thread (or I have missed that). In that case I will provide the link to the person to choose anyone from the list. If still the person cant trust anyone from the list if s/he can find out someone whom I may trust then that is ok if not will cancel the deal. I have no right to tell anyone, must trust someone whom I trust.
My point is, why have you added him to the list of your trusted escrows when you have not dealt with them in the past and they don't have a history of doing successful trades like OgNasty/MinerJones? You know, you're putting someone at risk by adding their name there.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: December 01, 2018, 02:30:16 PM
Why not,  since we all know Bitcoin is becoming popular in any form of media, and even popular icons may be involve to this given that when it comes to mass, they were one of the most easiest way to convince a large group of people and in marketing strategy it is a plus for them to be honest, and the usage of Bitcoin will be more and more popular to the people.
The problem is, it wasn't bitcoin they were promoting. They were promoting a fraudulent ICO. There's a big difference in that and the later can get millions stolen from the fanboys who follow these celebrities blindly.

Of course, I understand, but there are fans who are ready to do anything for any celebrity, so even these celebrities will promote scam companies, there are many fans who will invest their money even without hesitation, and smart people will pass by and won't even think about this, because they know how this process works.
That's correct!
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On what kind of gambling you got maximum reward from betting? on: December 01, 2018, 02:26:14 PM
In bets singles reach the maximum number of wins I play in roulette, sometimes dice has also won the maximum number of bets. The least like is that slot games IMO are hard to win the maximum bet there cause the luck demanded to play, regarding other games such as sportbooks I prefer to bet against the flow of looking for profits that multiply occasionally sometimes win but not continuously Wink.
Slots are hard to win but they give out the maximum outputs for the small amounts wagered. The chances of hitting a very high roll with small bets in dice games are very low. They are as equal to winning a slot. My point is, winning a lot from small wagers is equally difficult in a dice or a slot so might as play slots.

Sports betting is like you know the participant r the team and then you can bet considering their strength and weakness which gives us a chance to bet on assured winning to an extent. While gambling in casinos where house has the edge their is always a chance of losing more rather than winning from it.
The obvious wins on any sport-betting sites have very low odds. You will just make a few pennies if you bet on such matches.

932  Economy / Reputation / Re: Using a bot to complete bounty activities?!? on: December 01, 2018, 02:11:34 PM
That is a smart bounty whore indeed. FYI, there are members who can't write a single line in English and they participate in the bounty campaigns to tweet stuff written in English. Managers are okay with it. As long as you tweet something in the required format, it's all good.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Skill-based Gambling/games? on: November 30, 2018, 11:59:28 PM
Speaking technically, if it's skill based, it's not called gambling, its called a challenge. And there are ways you can challenge other players without the need of a host. I   liked the ChopCoin game as someone mentioned above but that's the closest I have come across. I don't trust the bot making game because you are always competing against someone better than you.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who would actually believe celebs promoting crypto? on: November 30, 2018, 11:54:50 PM
DJ Khaled and Mayweather had an issue about shilling an ICO. And other celebrities hyping or promoting scam coins. Who would actually rely on their words? If you're listening to celebs then you are not ready for this type of market at all.
I was going to start a thread about this but stumbled upon yours. Great!

Anyone interested in reading the full story : https://www.forbes.com/sites/francescoppola/2018/11/29/floyd-mayweather-and-dj-khaled-were-paid-to-promote-a-fraudulent-ico/

The name of the ICO is Centra and according to the FBI, they're a fraudulent ICO. From bitcointalk to celebs like these, man crypto is going too far!! Well, not in the right direction.
935  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Decentralised exchanges. Will they survive? on: November 30, 2018, 11:51:54 PM
Do you think that the decentralised exchanges are going to survive or will be swamped by the non-decentralised exchanges? What's going to be the future of trading? Also, what's the meaning of decentralised exchange? Are they really fully decentralised?
They will not survive if they keep running the saw way they are now. Most of them have a pathetic user interface and they don't put a single penny into marketing. Whereas centralized exchanges are all over the media and shit. You know, people tend to fall for the one's that are more known to them. To be honest, most of these noobs don't even know what a decentralize exchange is.

It would be nice to make a list of the good one in order to help other people making a choice.
It's not gonna change anything.
936  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐭 Micerace.com - Bet on REAL mice racing, in real-time. on: November 30, 2018, 11:48:28 PM
Haven't seen fresh idea in a while Grin

I just wonder if each mice have it's profile with information, such as :
1. Race history
2. Common info (species, genus, etc.)
2. Specification (weight, height, etc.)
How can you make sure that list would be legit? There would be practically no means of verifying it. Imagine, OP listing out all the winner mice as the losers and the other way around, then people would just blindly bet on the winning mice considering the given information is true. That would be cheating. Btw it's just a mice run and human Olympics.
And also it would really be hassle to list out those very small details. Its important but as said how can we verify it if those info given are legit ones.? Its not relevant actually.
Well, if they really want to make that happen on blockchain using provable fairness mechanism, they can! For instance, every mice is categorized with a unique bitcoin address and whenever that mic wins a race, some token amount of money is sent to that address. Ideally, the bitcoin with the high balance is an obvious winner more times.
937  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [NEW PROJECT] Bitsender Messenger: Share Your Message With the World on: November 30, 2018, 11:37:06 PM
It looks like an interesting idea but confused how it works and what would be its real-life applications? If I want to send someone a message, I can just send them on a more secure platform like telegram or just send them an email from a custom email server? Why Do I need cryptocurrency for this? While I agree we should really be thinking outta the box and this project is something new but it should have at least one practical usage.

Maybe you should consider elaborating more on the project?

939  Economy / Services / Re: [FREE] Escrow or campaign manager services and others on: November 30, 2018, 11:28:52 PM
I don't want to become a trusted escrow or manager or whatever. I'm here just to give free services for new members and people starting new projects. I guess I can easily escrow any transaction below 0.1BTC simply because of my account but again the goal is not to become a trusted escrow. Just to help out Smiley
Man, you can't be serious! Why are you offering the service if you don't want to become trusted in the first place? Why would anybody in their right minds would use a not-trusted escrow? And no one buys the bullcrap about giving "free services", we all know what is the outcome of the free services. You can't do anything just because you have a higher ranked account. That's a logical fallacy.

I have updated my escrow list where I have just added your service too. You can see it on: Few Trusted Escrow Provider
Few trusted escrow? That list gotta be shite. You trust him, doesn't mean the entire forum does too.

Can you additionally attach any proof as screenshots of the conversations you had with him? I'm not sure if the address mentioned on their website is legit but just in case

You should sue them already. What made you think you should trust a not reputed service with 33 BTC?
