2821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 16, 2022, 08:05:22 AM
As much as most of us hate a big mouth athlete. I'm kind of okay with Lopez choosing Campa as his first fight in super-lightweight and kind of return bout after his loss to Kambosos. Earlier, undisputed champion Josh Taylor mentioned he will move up in welterweight, thus all 4 belts will become vacant. Teofimo was surprised no one from these 4 sanctioning bodies ranked him 1 or 2, so he can just fight for a vacant belt. Now, Josh Taylor wanted a rematch with Jack Catterall before finally settling into another division.

***From Wikipedia (boxrec ranking was removed)
***TBRB was made when The Ring was purchased by Golden Boy Promotions citing conflict of interest.

Here are the current ranks in the super-lightweight division. I'm surprised Campa is unranked. If we look at Campa's record, I can recognize world-ranked contenders Aaron Herrera, ex-champ Jose Alfaro, and Marvin Quintero. He probably entered the top 10 during those years. But after that 2017 upset loss, he was fighting nobodies. Teofimo should stop expecting high gains from this fight. Although knowing Teofimo's popular name, these 4 sanctioning bodies might improve his ranking soon, especially the WBO, a close organization with Top Rank.

The best scenario for Teofimo to fight for a vacant belt here is the WBO. Jose Ramirez might accept a rematch with heavy-hitter Jose Zepeda for the vacant WBC. And most likely Catterall loses his rematch with Josh Taylor and will lose his rank. Now Teofimo can fight Liam Paro for the vacant WBO. Although I'm still hoping for Jose Ramirez to abandon the WBC and just wait after the Taylor-Catterall fight, so he can fight Liam Paro. But maybe Catterall will beat Josh Taylor in their rematch after their controversial first fight.

Will it be worth it? Or baka mas lumawak pa ang ating mga opportunities worldwide dahil halos lahat sa American continent puro Spanish.

Day 15 Matches

Game1: 5:15 PM PH Time
ROS Elasto Painters -13.5
Terraferma Dyip +13.5

Pinapahiya pa naman sila ng TNT nung Domingo.

2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 15, 2022, 09:19:26 AM

I believe PPV sharing is probably the main reason why they haven't come up with a deal yet. Spence's previous PPV buys are a little better than Crawford's. Spence also has more belts to offer in the division but Crawford is the only ATG of the two.

There's no other reasons, Crawford here has to agree with a small share because Spence will not agree with a 50/50 share.
he has more belts and he has a better PPV record in the past compared to Crawford.

We get it, Crawford is also a champion but Spence have proven enough based on the numbers he have.

However, Spence versus Crawford might be the biggest payperview revenue in the history of boxing. It might be more than the payperview numbers of Mayweather versus Pacman. It would be very stupid for Terence Crawford's team to not demand a share equal to Spence's share.

Even before, Crawford already mentioned his willingness to accept the lower share. I forgot the exact number but he did talk in public about it. 45/55 I think. And there was also another option where the winner will take a certain percentage. I think it was fair. But obviously, it's Spence that really avoided Crawford over the years.

I disagree when some people mentioned that Crawford needs Spence because of his 3 belts compared to his 1 belt. Crawford even without fighting Spence has enough credits to enter the Hall of Fame. Spence's achievements are not enough to even get a nomination in the HoF. And if we talk about the money. Crawford was already receiving a minimum of $5 million per fight when Spence was just a hundred-thousand fighter. They're both rich and can move on from fighting each other. But if Spence cared about his career achievements, if he wants to enter the Hall of Fame then he needs Crawford for a chance to become undisputed. What more advantages does Spence want against Crawford? He was scared for many years when was approached by Crawford. Did Spence get a Crawfordphobia after that incident? Now he got a chance to fight an almost 1 year inactive and older version of Crawford.

Otherwise, Crawford can just activate a WBO mandatory status in super welterweight where Jermell Charlo holds all 4 belts and the Ring belt. A chance to become a 4 division world champion, a 3 time Ring/lineal champion, and the first to become a 2 division undisputed champion (4-belt era).
2825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 15, 2022, 08:42:50 AM
...but the way I observed it, some of the greats make one comeback and test themselves if they still have it. Muhammad Ali (RIP) for example, they say he should have retired but he keeps on fighting until he was knockout cold, and so on.

This is very common in boxing. It's in their blood. They grew up fighting since they were a kid, then in the amateurs until they turned into professionals. Boxing is their life. I believe more than half in the Hall of Fame made returns or continued to fight past their primes. From Muhammad Ali to Roy Jones Jr.

Although some continued fighting for monetary purposes. Many boxers aren't well educated or they simply do not have basic financial education and many of them went bankrupt. Mike Tyson for example.

I can only name a few that retired for good while they're still on top. Andre Ward is probably the only ATG that retired in its early 30s. Finito Lopez and Joe Calzaghe were in their mid-30s while Floyd Mayweather Jr, Lennox Lewis, and Vitali Klitschko extended their careers in their late 30s but they finally retired before losing to the younger contenders.

Has anybody watched Team Spirit and BetBoom series yesterday? That was insane. I lost my bet on the second map so tripled it on the third map. That was unreal, especially on the deciding map. I cannot count how many times its momentum switches sides. In the end, Team Spirit prevailed.

OG losing to Liquid somehow indirectly affected Team Secret. It minimized Team Secret's chances to qualify. Because if OG won, there could've been 2 slots available for Entity, Team Secret, and Team Liquid. And Team Secret already smashed Team Liquid before with 2-0. Now Team Secret will play against Entity whom they already lost earlier. It's a tougher game to them I believe.

I see so instead of just a two way tie breaker, it could be a 3-way tie breaker for 2 slots. Thats literally 66% chance to get one compared to 50% chance so yeah but Liquid was just way better against OG although OG seems to be stomping the other teams. It wasnt even close at all, Liquid totally owned them in both of the map so yeah it was expected
It's just my thought that OG Notail does not like Puppey, its long-time rival. So I was contemplating betting on Liquid on their regular series. But I'm supposed to bet on OG when it comes to the tie-breaker series. Luckily I fell asleep during the 2nd map tie-breaker series with Secret and Entity. I really thought Secret can manage to close the series in the 2nd map. What a heartbreaking loss to Puppey.

In Southeast Asia, newcomer Talon Esports surprisingly secured a slot, endangering T1 or even Fnatic. Currently watching Fnatic and T1. Hoping Fnatic will win in order to seal their slot to Arlington.

I bet to T1 with +1.5 but I guess I need to say goodbye early to my bet because they seems experimenting on there game 2 pick. They pick pudge as pos1 for Gabbi which we all know this hero is frequently use on trolling in Sea pub as carry. I don’t know if they can win this but Fnatic Line up is very solid with TA and Puck as there carry.

They need a good black hole to win this which I don’t if they can manage to execute with this line-up. Smh  Roll Eyes

In fairness, Gabbi manage to use properly Pudge carry from early to Mid game. It's just this kind of hero has an expiration of effectiveness when facing against hard carry like TA. Those last clash on Rosh pit cause them the game because over commit to Roshan Fnatic wipe them out 1 by 1 since they didn't expect that Fnatic will still contest.

It's very enjoyable to watch the game especially to our local caster that very biased on supporting T1.
T1 is choker since before and now they are worst when they replaced 23savage as pos1. No offense gabbi is good carry but he always choke on late game just like what happened on the previous match against Fnatic. Maybe its still good that they lose since Arlington Major will gonna massacre them with this kind of play that they are showing on SEA tournament. GG to your bet.
I don't like Gabbi either. When T1 announced they are letting go of 23savage I was surprised but when rumors leaked that it was due to his attitude then I was like "okay". There were even rumors that Ana will replace 23savage. But when they announced that Gabbi becomes the permanent replacement, I felt disgruntled because I think they just downgraded the team.

Regional eliminators are getting more interesting and exciting in their latest stage. I will try to YOLO on Team Aster as LGD may not play seriously.
The odds are close though and LGD bounced back on their last series taking down RNG 2-0. If the odds were more in favor of LGD there could've been value on Aster but it feels like LGD is the better choice since they're also one series win away from forcing a four-way tiebreaker for a major spot but a series loss puts them to a three-way tiebreaker to avoid relegation.
I just have the feeling that LGD was not playing seriously in some of its matches to let the other Chinese teams catch up for a chance in TI. They have already secured in the TI anyway. RNG win or lose is already in the top or 2nd spot. Provided Aster beats LGD and wins over RNG in the tiebreakers, I think 1140 points is enough to join TI, if they lose to RNG then they need at least an 8th finish in Arlington to join TI. But maybe LGD will play seriously against Aster and will take the no-hoper Aster.Aries out.
2827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 14, 2022, 10:53:32 AM
Yup, if they lose against OG they'll join the tiebreaker together with Entity and Secret.

Damn Secret is still alive and kicking. Is it really possible for OG to not play seriously against Liquid in order to further diminish Team Secret's chances of joining the upcoming last majors? OG only needs 1 DPC point and it will be secured to TI already.

Well actually the result for OG vs Liquid wont really affect Team Secret. OG lost the game therefore there will be 2nd-3rd place tiebreaker between OG and Liquid once again, the result wont affect OG at all because they have secured both Major spot as well as TI11 spot

As for Team Secret, they will be playing against entity for the 4th-5th place tiebreaker. Winner of this tiebreaker will be getting the last spot for Major well in this case both teams need it badly to improve their chance for TI11 so this is going to be interesting game on Saturday but I doubt we'll be able to bet on tiebreakers though

In South America, regional favorites beastcoast and Thunder Awaken will still battle it out, with the loser in danger of losing the last slot to Infamous.

In North America things are getting more colorful too with regional powerhouse EG and Quincy threatened by nouns.

In eastern Europe, favorites Team Spirit and BetBoom Team are all of a sudden on the brink of elimination with only 1 of them heading to Arlington. Unless NaVi and Outsiders will suffer upsets in their last matches which seem unlikely.

In Southeast Asia, newcomer Talon Esports surprisingly secured a slot, endangering T1 or even Fnatic. Currently watching Fnatic and T1. Hoping Fnatic will win in order to seal their slot to Arlington.

2828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 14, 2022, 10:00:12 AM
There are too many rumors circulating but they were really vague as both camps and Showtime will try not to offend each other with the ongoing negotiations. So it's like we can only say that news is only reliable when it comes directly from Espinoza head of Showtime, Al Haymon of PBC, Ellerbe the manager of Spence, Spence himself, and Crawford himself. Stephen Espinoza of Showtime said this week that he is confident of a deal this month.

Errol Spence also said this week that a fight deal is near. But how near? I read another rumor that Spence is actually fine with the terms and that it is Crawford's monetary demands that are difficult to negotiate. These people aren't giving figures and numbers though so we do not have any idea what's going on. And we do not know if Crawford's demand is fair or not. Because clearly, Crawford is presenting himself in hostile territory with the fight itself aired by Spence's network and promoted by Spence's promoter.

2829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Kazuto Ioka vs Donnie Nietes II on: July 14, 2022, 08:52:14 AM
Tough year for Philippine boxing. The chance of getting another world title now vanished.

Now what, we don't have any possible match for the title match right? Our boxers should now line up again for the title shot.

Nonito Donaire, who loses the WBC bantamweight doesn't have any chance now for the title
Rene Mark Cuarto, who loses the IBF minimumweight title has to be lined up again
John Riel Casimero, who loses his WBO bantamweight title by default because of weight issues, the future is not clear
Mark Magsayo, who loses the WBC featherweight might not get a rematch for the title and have to line up too
Donnie Nietes, who loses recently, might hang his gloves now

Did I miss someone?

When will PH have again another world titleholder? That's the question.

Really tough times for Ph professional boxing. Because last year was its golden age in amateur boxing and in overall sports in general achieving gold, silver, and bronze medals in the Olympics.

I think Donaire, Pacman, and Nietes are done simply because they are too old to compete in this hurting sport. I am banking on former world champions, Casimero, Tapales, Ancajas, Cuarto and Taduran in order. They are experienced at the world level and were former champions, especially Casimero already a 3 division champion. Taduran and Cuarto are very talented in their division but if they keep on fighting in enemy territories then they will be easily exploited by bad officiating.

I don't have much confidence in Magsayo because he's too raw. In all his last fights in the US, he actually struggled against cherry-picked opponents. Thanks to his punching power, he barely escaped defeats although still wild with no proper setups. He also became a world champion because Russell Jr.'s other hand was injured plus his long inactivity. Magsayo's punching power nearly saved him again from Vargas but came up short due to his lack of boxing technique he failed to capitalize on some moments where Vargas was visibly hurt. I really hope that he can execute Freddie Roach's game plan in his next fight.

As for Nietes. Hope he retires and enjoys the fruits of his hard labor. And for Ioka. I want to see him unify the belts. The division is filled with very good names like El Gallo, Chocolatito, the new kid in town Bam Rodriguez, and Ancajas.
2830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 14, 2022, 06:10:00 AM
As for AB, yeah, even if he wins here, I guess his career is really over, he no longer generates the hype, About Billions? nah, ever since he lost against the hard hitting Maidana, it was over for him. Just fighting for scrap now, another of those story that didn't end very well for boxers because of their attitude.
It's always a relief seeing these brash fighters losing badly. Adrien Broner losing to Maidana was one of the best feelings I had as a hardcore fan of boxing. A bad beating has psychological effects and many fighters were not the same in their next fights. That is why many top fighters need tune-up/s, especially when coming from tough defeats in order to recondition themselves but many of them cannot return to their former selves. And AB is one of them.

I am actually hyped for this- given the downfall of Broner in his career, this might actually be the redemption that he is looking for.

I mean, we all know that AB almost copied his style from Mayweather's technique and skill. His move sets are somehow similar but the execution and punching power is still lacking compared to FM. But to be honest, we cannot deny that AB is still gifted and skillful- it is just that his methods and training consistency fell short when his career boomed.

Nevertheless, I will definitely keep this fight on my radar and watch it. I'll give my honest feedback about the match and see if AB can revive his career and from his slump.

I think Broner's career as a world-level fighter is done already. Including Figgy too. They're still in their early 30s but I just think the fire is not there anymore. They're only here for money but of course, they will still do their best to win.

AB wanted to become the next Mayweather but in reality, I felt like they were nearly the opposite. He is arrogant but somehow he was not cherry-picking during his prime years and I give him credit for that. Moving up 2 divisions to fight then-world champion Paulie Malignaggi. And despite barely winning against Malignaggi, he picked a very dangerous opponent in Maidana in his first welterweight world title defense. These career moves were not Mayweatherish. Adrien was also exciting and brave inside the ring. Guy got a big heart when he continued fighting despite receiving too many heavy blows from Maidana. But somehow the heavy beating affected him mentally. He was never the same again.

LOL Grin you got me there! I sure do hope that Omar's sister, Liliane, would attend the said press conference to make the event more hotter and interesting. Anyway, yes this will be a better fight and an entertaining one to see because of Broner's attitude and movement in the ring. I'm also looking forward to this match next month and not in less than 2 weeks.
I can't find the betting odds. But I think this is a 50/50 fight knowing both are equally inactive. Oddsmakers are probably having a hard time assessing both fighters. Adrien got better skills but if cannot move like before, Omar will have the advantage since he is the natural brawler of the two.

i was really close to going full Dota today with +1.5 Goonsquad and Gaimin Gladiators, dodged a bullet
huge game for Liquid tomorrow, if they lose they'll go to a tiebreaker, right?
Yup, if they lose against OG they'll join the tiebreaker together with Entity and Secret.

In the Chinese region, LGD played seriously against RNG but they beat an already qualified RNG. So I believe they need to lose against Aster then? I'm thinking of betting big for Aster because I still feel LGD is giving the other teams a chance to collect points in this last major in order to qualify for TI. But there's still the slim possibility that LGD will play seriously and wins the series. And they will chill only during the tiebreakers.

Day 12 matches.

Game1: 3:00 PM PH Time
Blackwater Bossing -1.5
ROS Elasto Painters +1.5

Game2: 6:00 PM PH Time
Barangay Ginebra Kings -2.5
Meralco Bolts +2.5

Sana makakuha ng dalawang panalo dito. Tough games pa din lalo na sa ROS na naghahabol makakuha ng spot para sa playoffs. Pero I'll go with Blackwater, hoping they will bounce back strong after that close defeat from SMB. I also expect Ginebra to win their game against Meralco dahil babagsak sila 3rd place pag matalo ulit. Pinapahiya pa naman sila ng TNT nung Domingo.

Few more hours before they fight. In our poll, we got Nietes 68.2% compared to Ioka's 27.3% and 4.5% had it a draw. So it seems that many of you guys answered it based on your hearts? Grin

I would love Nietes to win here but honestly, I voted for Ioka. Because Nietes based on his previous fights is not the same fighter that went undefeated in many title fights in 4 divisions. I didn't bet this time because, of course, I want Nietes to prove me wrong.
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 13, 2022, 04:10:39 AM
I think there is already a Women's boxing division, and the recent fight if I am not wrong was Franchón Crews-Dezurn VS Elin Cederroos on April 30, 2022, you haven't seen it because I think men boxers are more popular than men that is why there are not so much exposure for the sports in woman division, and Franchón Crews-Dezurn is the Super middleweight WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, title holder, and here is the LIST of woman who is currently holding a title belts
Yes, women's boxing existed already many many years ago. And they also have their own superstars that are also more popular than most champions in men's boxing. The current biggest networks are DAZN, PBC (thru Showtime, Fox), and ESPN. DAZN got Katie Taylor and ESPN got Mikaela Mayer as main event fighters. Although it is not as popular as men's boxing who's biggest superstars will compete as the world's highest-paid athletes just like Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao. I think Canelo could take the highest-paid athlete this year if he didn't lose to Bivol.

I am surprised after these two long rests from boxing I never thought that they still wants to continue their hold-up career, Adrien Broner after that fight with Pacquiao in 2019 had a long rest then comes back to fight Jovanie Santiago and won that fight, and after that an Omar Figueroa fight, if Adrien Broner won this fight I think we can surely say that this is his true comeback, While Omar Figueroa Sister was really legit hot, Omayra Liliane Figueroa surely has the body to die for and I will be expecting her to show up aswell on his Brother's fight, and this fight was set on August 20 on Florida, this could be a great fun fight to watch,
I like this fight because it's like 50/50 IMO. Although I don't consider them as serious world title contenders at this stage. The current world champions will easily destroy them.
2835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 12, 2022, 03:04:27 PM
Does anyone know what cause Lopez to move to other weight division? Last Canelo fight showed, that being so self confident and moving to other division ends bad. Why not try to regain belts back? What was all that shouts "I am the best", after winning Lomachenko, for ? Why not make make a second fight against Lomachenko, I am sure Loma will instantly accept it. Or a rematch with Kambosos ?

Even before the Kambosos fight, Teofimo and his dad were already planning to move up in weight to fight undisputed champion Josh Taylor. Teofimo wanted to become the first undisputed champion in 2 divisions. Although in reality, Teofimo never became undisputed in lightweight since former WBC champion Lomachenko was elevated into a WBC franchise champion while former WBC interim champion Devin Haney became the WBC champion. The new WBC franchise belts were not well-received and were never credited by the hardcore boxing community. After losing his belts to Kambosos, his dad mentioned that they will continue to their to move up. There was no rematch clause too because it was a mandatory fight that went into a purse bid.

The arrogant father and son duo also dismissed a Loma rematch before the Kambosos fight. They're not man enough. They forgot that Lomachenko donated personal money of around $800,000 to them as additional payment because they demanded more money, something promoter Bob Arum cannot satisfy due to the pandemic. And Teofimo barely beat an injured version of Lomachenko who undergo surgery right after the fight.

I hope this unknown Pedro Campa upsets Teofimo Lopez.

The champion on the lightweight division are really though too, Haney and Tank.
There's only 1 legit champion in the division. Haney already collected all 4 belts in the division plus the Ring belt. Tank is a fake WBA regular champion just like the WBC franchise belt, otherwise, Haney is not undisputed.
2836  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 12, 2022, 11:35:11 AM
Seeing this on social media, I don't really understand the real condition but mismanagement is most often the reason why a country goes bankrupt, mismanagement includes high corruption.
It's more precisely the conceptualized mismanagement. Basically, corrupt officials will always abuse the trust of the people.

Nepotism is rampant in their nation. Imagine the president and its prime minister are brothers? And they also appointed a lot of their family members to many government positions.

The bombings in the capital and then came the COVID pandemic, it totally killed Sri Lanka's big tourism industry. Many of their overseas workers went home weakening foreign remittances and further rising unemployment. Their unbalanced imports and exports aren't ideal too. I think nepotism played a major role in its government's bad economic decisions.
2837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 12, 2022, 10:42:30 AM
Well, it is no secret to anyone that Spence is gaining sympathy and more fans, which is a very favorable move for him, especially for the entire business model that can be developed based on it, but following this logic we see that Crawford He doesn't have a promoter yet, I don't know how good he is at representing himself, the scopes as a businessman and as an athlete are standards that can be very demanding, and he may neglect one of the two roles, I know there is a lot of speculation about it In my personal opinion, I say that a good promo is needed to get good fights with many chances of success so that it is done as quickly as possible.

Terrence Crawford's manager will be one making the negotiations with Errol Spence's team. In this scenario, Bud without a promoter is more beneficial in making this fight becoming a reality since it avoids conflict in the networks. His former promoter Bob Arum is locked with ESPN while Al Haymon's PBC, Spence's handler is with Showtime and Fox. So there will be no more negotiations as to who will promote the fight or who will be the lead promoter or which network will televise the fight.

I believe PPV sharing is probably the main reason why they haven't come up with a deal yet. Spence's previous PPV buys are a little better than Crawford's. Spence also has more belts to offer in the division but Crawford is the only ATG of the two.

If this fight is going to happen in October then a deal needs to materialize within this month or early August since they need at least 2 months to prepare.
2838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 12, 2022, 10:03:35 AM

In less than two weeks we can see a crossroad fight between former world champions Adrien Broner and Omar Figueroa. This should be fun to watch as both were entertaining fighters before. AB with his funny antics and trash talks while Figgy's hot sister might attend the press conference, weigh-in, and the fight. This may not be for world title contention but I felt this fight as more alluring than the fake fights of Jake Paul and Mayweather Sr.'s exhibition fights.
2839  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 11, 2022, 03:27:39 PM
There's a chance that Magsayo can ask for rematch but this will happen if the camp of Vargas would agree on this since many fans still want to watch their match because this match can be consider as unfinish business.

Well. Every featherweight wanted to fight WBA champion Leo Santa Cruz. Magsayo too but he cannot escape from his mandatory. Right after the fight, Vargas also called for a unification showdown with Santa Cruz.

Mark Magsayo will need to fall in line now since there was no rematch clause. Vargas wanted LSC. But it also looks like the WBC is ready with another mandatory in Brandon Figueroa. There's also Russell Jr. who claimed to have lost his title to Magsayo due to an injured arm and inactivity which seem legit too.

I think Magsayo needs to re-assess himself. I cannot see many improvements from him in the past few years. The only improvement I saw with his fight against Vargas was knowing how to clinch. And that's actually very basic when you're at the world level. I'm pretty sure Roach taught him a lot. Head movements, jabbing, foot work, combinations, and setting up power punches. It's just that Magsayo cannot execute them inside the ring. Magsayo could've finished off Vargas in the late rounds should he have learned to set up those power punches properly. And not just throw them like Deontay Wilder.

I believe Ioka has more world title fight experience than Nietes.
I don't know about this but I like to believe that Nietes would not lose in this fight if he is not old, at his age now, I think Ioka will bounce back and beat him. Losing a split decision means the fight is very competitive, so now Kazuto Ioka has the edge due to his age and he is more active than Nietes I think.

Yes. I also think that prime Nietes will beat a prime Ioka. Both are the same 4 division champions and are future Hall of Famers. They nearly have the same styles too. They're both smart, technical, patient, and armed with excellent jabs. I just believe that prime Nietes is just slightly better.

Back to reality. Ioka has a clear edge in this coming rematch. I don't think Nietes has the power to knockout Ioka and his age makes the mission becoming nearly impossible.
