1921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 27, 2023, 11:14:25 AM
In any case though, all fingers point to Errol Spence and his camp regarding the fall out, and it seems that he is not denying it isn't it? because we just hear him and his team says that they don't need Crawford because they have cemented their legacy already. But as fans we think otherwise, we need to see this fight happening as we want to see the best fighting against each other, and that is the history of that division.

People already know the truth and it's evident enough why all fingers are pointing towards Errol Spence Jr. and Al Haymon, the fact is, the played Terence Crawford for months and let him expect that a fight will materialize. They haven't thought about their move well that someday it would backfire at them as they can't just hold those belts forever even if they got some influence.

Spence's camp are just hiding behind the reason that they already cemented their legacy, therefore Crawford won't be needed anymore. Honestly, when did they cemented it? After Ugas fight? Grin They can't honestly fool everyone with that kind of shallow reasoning.

Yes, I think they are and probably this is what they have brainwash Spence for thinking that he had a good career and cemented his career at 147 lbs without fighting Crawford.

I would agree that he has a good resume, no doubt, but there is one name missing in that record and that is Terrence Crawford.

So in any case he beat Thurman, still though there is this huge question in front of him for not fighting Bud.

I really doubt that Spence cemented his legacy already. He owns 3 belts in the division but he is still not considered the lineal and Ring belt champion of the division because the rule is for #1 and #2 to fight each other for the vacant Ring belt and be considered lineal. I say Errol Spence's name will never be considered in the Hall of Fame with his current accomplishments. If Spence has no plans to face Crawford then he needs to become undisputed at 154 or at least conquer 2 more divisions in order to cement his legacy in the Hall of Fame.

While Terrence Crawford has more than enough to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. In reality, it is Crawford that do not need Spence when it comes to legacy. Crawford is already a 3 division champion and was the first undisputed champion at 140 in this 4-belt era. But Crawford clearly wanted more to his legacy as he is also aiming to become the first ever 2 or 3-division undisputed champion in this 4-belt era. What's stopping Crawford from that chance is Spence and his close friend Jermell Charlo the undisputed champion at 154.

The return of Brandon Ingram is not enough to end the Pelicans' losing streak. Ingram seems lost and is still to find his rhythm after his long injury. The Pelicans tried to control the game but things changed when the Timberwolves gained momentum in the 3rd quarter and maintained it until the end. Another huge number came from Anthony Edwards with 37 points.

This is the 3rd straight 30+ points by Edwards. Hopefully, he can bring the same momentum when Ja Morant and the Grizzlies visit Minnesota in their next game. Also today, the Grizzlies lost a wild game against GSW. That's the 4th straight loss suffered by the Grizzlies yet they are still looking strong at top 2 in the west.

Ingram did not play as well as people might have thought he would. It was actually CJ, who scored most of the points for the Pelicans. Of course, the pelicans had some problems with attacking. But I also believe that they also had some problems with the defending as well because they absolutely could not do anything about Anthony Edwards scoring point after point.

I am not giving any individual player any shit talk. Because the Timberwolves had a good all-round team performance in this game. Which the pelicans obviously had lacked. And of course, better performance was expected from Ingram in my opinion.

regards

duke

Maybe if the Pelicans limit Ingram touching the ball and just focused the offense more on CJ or made Valanciunas and other players as better offensive options, they could've made that game close or even a win.

We'll see if Ingram performs better in their next game and stop the bleeding. Their next game will be against the visiting Wizards. Still, a winnable game for the Pelicans since they are at home but the Wizards are also on a 4 game-winning streak. We might see good odds here for the visiting Wizards.

There's a chance that Blacklist will lose against SMG,
Well, I said it correct on this one and Blacklist did really lose against SMG and as Fnatic loses against Execration. It's a big help to Talon that they've got a secured win for their very last match on January 27.

Geek Slate and Blacklist still has 2 matches remaining. And the fate of Talon Esports being the third slot to secure in Lima major will lie on the hands of these two teams that I've mentioned first.

While on WEU, Into the Breach is now out and goes to division 2.

Yeah. What a bummer. Of all the teams, Blacklist lose to the team they're supposed to win. The momentum is on Talon's side now having shut out their opponents in their last 3 series. Geek came from a loss while Blacklist lost all its 4 last maps. It's more like Talon and Geek are the ones to take the last 2 slots for the Lima major.

I guess Nigma is next to fall into division 2. But the most interesting part are the last games of GG, OG, and Tundra. Entity seems like a sure win over Nigma and a chance to earn tickets to Lima.
1924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 26, 2023, 09:55:35 AM
Although there's a huge gap in age, I still think Donaire could be a dominating fighter once he gets his rhythm.
Both boxers lost against Naoya Inoue, both were KO'ed by the young superstar too. (Donaire vs Inoue 2) Although I also want to point out how difficult it was for Inoue at their first fight. Lasted 12 rounds, Inoue was also hurt in the process.
I believe The Flash still has it, the punching power is there although his movements might become limited to preserve his stamina. Moloney on the other hand could use that to his advantage.
This might become a fight with an unpredictable winner unlike other events that happened recently, I hope the odds will be balanced for good profits.

My analysis is that anybody of the top 10 bantamweights might be able to outpunch this version of Donaire but the question is if they can survive the whole 36 minutes without getting hit by those killer hooks. The power of Donaire in this weight is just too much to absorb. Inoue was lucky it was an old Donaire that faced him, otherwise, he would've been stopped especially when he has hurt already in their first fight.

I will have my bet on Donaire but only if the fight happens outside of Australia. Moloney is also a KO artist and the crowd might boost his morale and conditioning and be able to evade all those hooks by fighting smart and consistently holding if the referee allows him to do so, being the home fighter.

Nonetheless, I am also hopeful that Donaire gets his wish of fighting El Gallo Estrada for a chance to become a 5 division champion.

ATOM, DOT, Kusama will be a good diversification of Ethereum. For long-term investment, it is better to buy coins that do not look like stocks and were not sold at the ICO.

Nice. I'll be putting ATOM, DOT, and Kusama in my growing list of coins that I need to DYOR for possible investment. I guess I need to give it a proper time to check them 1 by 1. We still have over a year though to study and accumulate coins that have huge potential to grow in the expected bull run next year. I am just so excited.

I might also move all my remaining local stocks into cryptocurrencies this year. If it happens, it will make my crypto investment portfolio about 80% to 90%. I just felt more comfortable for crypto to have a better performance in the next 2 years.

1927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: January 26, 2023, 08:52:59 AM
Alright! Hopefully, Fulton is committed to the challenge and is willing to travel to Japan. And I am also hoping that Fulton put this matter into his own hands and stops Al Haymon of PBC from deciding what to happen next to his career. Earlier, it was announced by the WBC to let Fulton and Figueroa do a rematch at 126 for the vacant WBC or the interim belt depending on the outcome of current 126 WBC champion Rey Vargas who's also moving up to 130 for the vacant 130 WBC belt. If Vargas losses at 130 then he can remain as champion at 126 and face the interim champ. I wonder what will be the reaction of Al Haymon after the arrangements earlier will be canceled due to Fulton's willingness to give Inoue (a rival Top Rank fighter) a shot at his 2 belts.

Gonna be hard for Fulton though, unless he separate from Al Haymon, but in any case, if he agrees to fight Inoue in Japan it could have been with the blessings of PBC already? or it is they just agreed in principles and then anytime Fulton can says no and go up to 126 lbs?

And I'm not aware that the rematch with Figueroa will happen in 126 lbs? it should be in 122 lbs since that is their first fight?

Anyhow, let's see how it goes for Fulton and Inoue here, hopefully the fight can happen as schedule around April-May in Japan.

Inoue and Fulton only agreed to face each other but there are no signed contracts yet. Most likely Fulton is now trying to get the approval of Al Haymon to travel to Japan and defend his 2 belts against a fighter coming from a rival company. Let's just hope that Fulton grows some balls and sticks to his words that he can beat Inoue. If he moves up to 126, I believe he will be stripped of his WBO belt at 122 since Inoue is now mandatory.

Fulton and Figueroa fought each other in order to unify the WBC and WBO belts at 122. The fight deserved a rematch because it was very close. After the defeat, Figueroa went up to featherweight and since Fulton is a reigning 2-belt champion, the WBC presented them an opportunity to rematch at 126 for its belt.

1930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC or altcoin on: January 25, 2023, 11:14:56 AM
It is the altcoins who is said to be a very amazing investment for a short and long term if you will choose it wisely. Bitcoin is a good investment but its a long term process while in altcoins it will take a short term if you are lucky by the altcoin you choose to invest. There are so many altcoins that is why it is very important to research first before investing to avoid scam and to know more about the coin and have a future insights of the coin you want to buy and hold.

Bitcoin is still an easy x5 in the next bull run. So I choose bitcoin over the ever-dangerous and unstable altcoins. Although, if allowed, I will choose both. I just need to diversify my crypto investments as well. There are the safest altcoins at the top most of the ranks, ETH and BNB are my favorite picks. But I also risked some on other altcoins that are highly volatile but have the potential of earning more than the top altcoins and bitcoin.

So it is a matter of personal preference. The most important is to DYOR and invest the money we can only afford to lose. The higher the risk, the higher than reward but bitcoin is always the safest investment in crypto, and 2nd and 3rd are not even close.

Extra dose of women slapping is what Dana White now needs Cheesy
Yes, combination of slapping women and cocaine is his favorite combination, but I think his buddy Conor McGregor can join him because he was just accused for attacking woman on yacht in Ibiza.  Angry

A portion of laughter - Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is interested in signing Ngannou also. I think the fight should be held in a hospital then. As Ngannou would cripple his opponents and doctors would have more time to save them.
Everyone want's to have a piece of Ngannou now, and now I respect him much more for deciding to keep his stand against Dana slavery, but I don't think he will ever fight in brutal Bare Knuckle.
I want to see him boxing with Tyson Fury, and maybe more MMA heavyweights are going to move out from UFC, I have Stipe Miocic first in mind, who never had good relationship with Dana, but other fighters may follow.

Ngannou will obviously choose an exhibition fight with Tyson Fury. The problem though is Fury will most likely face Usyk in a 2-fight contract which means Ngannou has to wait until next year for that huge money. And there's also the chance of Fury losing the fight. Maybe Ngannou can take a very easy opponent for a boxing tune-up.

Ngannou's fighting style is a good fit for BKFC. Only 2 minutes per round and there are only 5 rounds per fight. While waiting, he can also ask BKFC for a single-fight contract against a very easy opponent because a single defeat might lose him the chance to earn big bucks against Fury. For now, I don't think Ngannou will have an easy time against BKFC's heavyweight champion. Adams is also old like Ngannou but he is slick.
1932  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde on: January 25, 2023, 09:51:15 AM
I like Beterbiev to stop Yarde.

I've never been sold on Yarde.

I backed Kovalev to beat him and Yarde doesn't like to be pressured.

I'm confident Beterbiev with his aggressive and high pressure style stops Yarde late.

What is more interesting here is if Yarde will try to become the aggressor early or he will try to fight smart and outbox Beterbiev. Yarde may be a little faster here since Beterbiev is aging. If only Yarde is used to fighting full 10 and 12-round fights, maybe he can just focus on outboxing Beterbiev. But Yarde had been knocking out nearly all of his opponents in the past which leads to an assumption that he might be gassed out in the late rounds. Whereas Beterbiev may have KO'd all his previous opponents but his style is conservative and he is smart as well which may enable him to continue fighting at a high pace even in the late rounds.
1933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 25, 2023, 09:12:24 AM
LOL.. anyone listened to the comments from Timothy Bradley Jr.? He accused Errol Spence of running away from a fight with Terrence Crawford. Now with Spence moving up a weight class, this fight will never take place.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z_x2VF1-q6Q

I don't necessarily agree with the rant from Bradley. But there is no question that 147 lb is the toughest division out there. Even after the departure of Spence and Thurman, this division now consists of Jaron Ennis, Terence Crawford, Conor Benn and Yordenis Ugas. Now compared to this, 154 looks like kindergarten class.

I haven't heard Tim Bradley's comment but I will agree that 147 lbs in the most stack up division for decades. I mean it's the cream of boxing besides the Heavyweight division. Bradley knows this as he has fought Manny at this weight.

This is very interesting, clearly, as he said, the rise in category would leave it out, but I think that the tone that Bradley used is obvious, he says it as if to "sting" Spence, and that can take a turn, it's not good at all For a boxer to say something like that, and even less to one like Spence, I know that Crawford looked for a fight against Spence a lot, but if it didn't happen and I went to iotri buvek, it's something lost, and yes, this has a different connotation From how we fans see it, this is something that can be noticed as running away, and each person gives their point of view, even if it sounds ugly, it will be to wait and see how this ends.

Every time I see Spence's face or his name online, I cannot stop my mind from thinking of a duck. Anyways, Tim Bradley and Shawn Porter are always the guys that I like listening to since they speak honestly and their opinions and analysis are free from any bias unlike those plastic shits when facing the camera. I'd rather hear someone honest. Tim is so right about entertainment and boxing. Boxing is entertainment but there are levels of it. Cherry picking like what Jake Paul, Tank Davis, and Ryan Garcia for example are just pure entertainment which is good for the money but they don't get legacies on their win.

Tim Bradley anyways just got inducted into the Hall of Fame. 2 division champion and was a unified and lineal champ at 140. Bradley didn't duck anybody during his time. It's a shame Spence took 3 belts already yet he failed to get the Ring belt award and be considered lineal since #1 and #2 in the division should fight each other in order to earn that recognition. I'd rather be Pacman who's got no major belts at 126 and 140 yet he was considered the lineal and held the Ring belts in those divisions after beating the real kings of those divisions.

Another night of nationally televised NBA basketball thanks to TNT, who also has my favorite commentators. Up first is the Celtics and Heat. Both teams have been playing great this year so that game could go either way, but of course the Celtics are the favorite. Then you’ve got the Lakers and Clippers battle for LA. Both teams have been a disappointment, but maybe they’ll bring their A game for the rivalry.

What a thrilling game it was. I was expecting Boston to win since Miami is playing without Butler. It was a duel between Bam Adebayo and MVP candidate Jayson Tatum. I really like it when Bam is expected to step up on his offense in the absence of Butler and he did. I am once again disappointed by Herro's performance lately but the kid sealed this game for Miami. The kid has a lot of playoff experience that made him a clutch but hopefully, he works on his offense because he is supposed to be the next bucket guy.

I haven't watched the Lakers and the Clippers game because I just don't think the former can beat the latter nor present a close game when both Kawhi and PG are playing.

After beastcoast and EG won their series yesterday, they are now secured to play in Lima Major even if they will lose their next 2 series. But I am still interested to watch their upcoming series. It will be interesting if EG can beat beastcoast with the winner being the best in Latin America.

So far, Team Liquid and Team Aster are the other teams that are already qualified for the first major of the year in Lima, Peru. In 3 hours, Execration will face Fnatic the former powerhouse of SEA. A victory by Execration will secure them a lot in the major as well.
1936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 24, 2023, 12:51:24 PM

Earlier today, both the camps of former champion Nonito Donaire and Jason Moloney were informed by the WBC to start negotiations for the vacant WBC bantamweight belt. They will have until February 17 to reach a deal, otherwise, it will go to a purse bid. Moloney's camp already showed willingness and wanted to bring this fight to Australia. Meanwhile, Donaire's earlier target is to drop in weight and face El Gallo Estrada for his ambition to become a 5 division world champion. We will see if old Donaire entertains this fight as he was already a 2-time champion in this division and he's got a few more fights left in his career.

All the belts became vacant after undisputed champion Naoya Inoue decided to move up in weight to continue his conquest of glory. Meanwhile, the WBA, IBF, and WBO are yet to make their own official announcements. Jason Moloney still has a lot of options and he can wait for more announcements from the other sanctioning bodies. I believe he may be able to outpunch past-prime Donaire but I don't think he can take the Flash's powerful hooks. It took another great to be able to survive Donaire's powerful hooks in this division although Inoue was also hurt for the first time in his career. Moloney can opt for his other options. He is also ranked #1 by the WBO which will be easier to outbid the #2 Vincent Astrolabio from the Philippines if he really wants to fight a title in his home of Australia. Moloney is also ranked #3 by the IBF which is also doable if ever #1 Vincent Astrolabio prefers to fight for the vacate WBO belt. Moloney can face #2 Emmanuel Rodriguez of Puerto Rico whom he lost already in a very very close fight which could've gone either way.

I have to come to acceptance with the fact that I very much Lebron and what he has done for the league for sure. I mean I was a hater back in the day because I am a Spurs fan and he managed to get a title out of us but we got a revenge out of that, but that just made me dislike him nevertheless, and I liked Lakers as well, to be honest Kobe alone, and that's why I disliked Lebron too, when you combine those two.

In that situation, it's very very tough to accept that Lebron has been the leader of the league for a while now. Dude is in his 20th season and he still wills his team to wins, or even when they lose, you say that they end up working towards making a better life for themselves.

And I was betting for Miami on those 2 seasons' finals against the Spurs. Personally, I am more of a fan in general and I love the high level of competition and fairness as well before rooting for specific players and teams. So I'd been jumping to many different teams over the years as I gambled regularly in the NBA. Lebron is a special kind. Probably the best if not the best. I cannot hate the guy although I can also say some negative stuff about him. But Bron is much better than the late Kobe. 1 of the questions I have in my mind is if Lebron would be able to mature, gain confidence and earn a ring if he stayed at Cleveland for his entire career. He seemed to struggle and was a bit nervous in the late minutes when the games are pretty close during playoffs. His confidence grows a lot after he took a ring together with Wade. If only he's got that same confidence earlier at Cleveland, he would've overcome Boston and Orlando in the east.

Not at all. Bitcoin will remain as always, a deflationary decentralized form of digital currency unlike that centralized version of digital currency with an unlimited supply. Both can co-exist anyways, so there is nothing to worry about. And besides, it is not just the United States that is planning to launch a CBDC. There are a lot of countries that will be minting their own centralized CBDCs sooner than later. I expect most countries around the world will have their own CBDCs in the next 2 decades.
