Someone proposed this idea once before.
I don't remember if there were any takers...

Im a little dummy, please explain.
I'm an ex-patriot of the nation of Six Flags I'm an ex-patriot of the nation of Disney. That makes us mortal enemies! I concede defeat! If I had a white flag, I would raise it. Really, Disney is way better than Sux Flags--at least, that's what everyone says when Six Flags pisses off their patriots

I'm in it because screw fiat. Everything else is icing on the cake
|
|
|
No no no no no. Do not mess with Bitcoin to accommodate fiat.
That's like saying to the banksters, "You win. We'll play."
The markets are def being manipulated, but tying Bitcoin with fiat is a baaaad idea. Then you just manipulate fiat and BTC will follow along.
Someone mentioned tying Bitcoin (colored coin?) to gold; I still don't think that's a good idea. Bitcoin should be its own thing.

So is it a case of "I have a lot to say" or is it a case of "I have a lot of fluff" "I have a lot to say, and I'm going to say it over and over again to make sure you get it." Yeah, that. Or even "I have a lot to say, and this story will cover a lot of twists and turns and things and concepts, and and OH HAI HERE'S A 100 PAGE SUMMARY OF IT ALL JUST SO YOU REMEMBER WHAT I TALKED ABOUT THE LAST 800 PAGES!!!" Followed by, "Ending? Who gives a shit." An in-book summary? Lawdy Is there a summary of the summary?

I think another problem is the volatility of the Bitcoin economy (not to be confused with price volatility). If I buy this info for $15, how long will it be useful? It reminds me of books published in the 1990s listing all the "good" Web sites -- probably a quick cash cow for the publisher but not a persistent value for the buyer.
Still, it's not a terrible thing. Selling information in different/better packaging is common and can be of value to some buyers.
Good point. It's like a phonebook; you gotta get another one every so often, and the last one becomes that much more unreliable.

I want to go up again, whats going on with this ride?
It's down for maintenance. Please come back at an indeterminate time in the future. I used to say this all the time when I worked security there You worked in MtGox? No, no, other way around

Well...communism + anarchism seems to be all right. I just wonder how it could work in this day of age; in that movie I watched, about the Spanish, they were mostly farmers and the like. In the digital age, where most people are in some kind of technical job, would communism still work all right? You'd have to be close to farms (not a problem in Texas, but I imagine a place like NY might have a tougher time feeding lots of people), or barter for your food, which would essentially be capitalism.

Crenel's right! You have a lot of reading to do Or YouTube videos to watch if that's not your thing. Also, welcome!

Just like at six flags you have to wait an hour for your order to be executed.
Six flags is closed due to poor weather Haw. More like, Six Flags is open in the rain, takes everyone's money, then shuts all its rides down and sends everyone home.

Is there anything in the catalog that can't be found online for free?! confused...........
Is there anything in any catalog that can't be found online? It's essentially rounding up info and keeping it in one spot; that's a pretty dandy service if I ever seen one.

socialism is a precursor to communism.
liberalism is a precursor to civil wars and anarchy. By that do you mean "Classical" liberalism, or what the US calls liberalism? And you say anarchy like it's a bad thing. Aw everyone knows anarchism is all about doing drugs, blowing stuff up and wearing your hair in a pink mo'hok

NK isn't going to bomb anyone but SK (maybe.) NK just wants to scare its people into thinking they're the good guys and the west are the bad guys (y'know, the opposite of what the US is doing.)

I got really interested in this show called Breaking the Set with Abby Martin. From that, I found out about Max Keiser's show. Max mentioned Bitcoin briefly, and I almost missed it; I rewound it and listened again, not sure what on earth Bitcoin was or how it would stir up the Banksters. So I did some research and voila, managed to find my happy ass here

Whenever someone claims "Bitcoin is the digital currency of the future" I never argue about the future part, just the present.
That's a keen observation Well, there was never an emerging technology which didn't have its bumps. Do you think Bitcoin 1.0 will come with super-advanced price-stability features? That would be rad Bitcoin will likely end up exactly like everything else is right now, with people trusting other people (MtGox instead of decentralized currencies) and organizations using social pressures to control everything. It's human nature. Bitcoin doesn't change the world, education does. Bitcoin is a very good tool for education though, but I fear the only ones receiving an education are the ones losing money in it. Disclaimer: I'm not a libertarian but I'm libercurious. I couldn't agree more, actually. I know for a fact I've learned more about markets, money, economy, and economics from just this one piece of software. I haven't invested a lot in it and probably won't (since I'm broke anyhow) but just by being around Bitcoiners (if it wasn't a noun, it is now) I've learned tons. What's going on now has been what's always been going on; will a change in people's thought change people's action? Why, I'd say that's the only way change has ever happened
