301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]★CryptoBridge★BCO★🔹Decentralized EXchange 📈RELEASED NOW BETA🔹 on: June 28, 2018, 08:24:16 PM
Is there anyway to get rid of all the dust in my CB account?  I have almost 100 different tiny tiny fractions of coins from the original payouts of BCO Staking.  It is a mess trying to weed through all those to find what I am actually working with.  I know that you can hide some coins from view, but that doesn't seem to last all that long.  I thought about just making a new account, but I have referred a bunch of people with my referral link and want to keep it the same.  It would be cool if there was a way to convert all that dust to BCO but I get that it is expensive to do on a DEX.  I love Crypto-Bridge!  Keep up the good work guys.  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Yeah, I have the same "issue", maybe in the future the developers will add a "delete" button or something like this to get a clean balance.

How about a donation button? If everyone who has a ton of crypto dust like the early BCO stakers could donate it back to CB, or maybe one of the bitcoin organizations, maybe something could come out of the dust.  Smiley Smiley

Ya but isnt all this dust the reward for staking? I would rather have a type of market sell button that would sell it off....probably unlikely to happen though. Converting it all to BCO is a good idea maybe they would integrate that.

If it's a DEX I don't understand how there is so many people having issues with deposits/withdraws?? If everything goes through gateways then who is helping them?

Just want to disclose I had to put in a support ticket for deposit stuck at 19/20 on cryptopia but it was pushed through a couple hours after i submitted the support ticket, good for cryptopia being fast with their tickets now.

Think we are at a solid floor around 9500-11k sats, hopefully will stay sideways (or up of course) from here.  Wink

You have a good market capitalization already but I saw the circulating supply is low even though you forked this from Btc. When will those coins hit the market?

This is not forked from BTC. Forking BTC directly gives the same major unbalanced distribution BTC already has (i.e. Mt. Gox) and is prone to fail.

You are right it is not forked from BTC, but then your implying that the distribution of bitcoin is unbalanced because of the Mt. Gox trustee??  Roll Eyes

You do realize that bitcoin is probably the most widely distributed crypto in existence right?

Not only of that one but there were also a lot of BTC forks lately and why should you hold those afterwards? Yes it is well distributed around a lot of small holders. But there is also a big concentration on a few individuals. Imho all those BTC forks only had one goal: Make rich richer.

If that were the prevailing goal then segwit 2x would have happened, it may be the goal of some to just fork to get richer but in most cases the forked coins look to serve a purpose. Bcash bigger blocks, bitcoin gold for GPU mining, but the added value of forking is that you actually do attain TX history of BTC ya know? So for all the forks it's like they automatically get a % of the bitcoin community to adopt them...some do, others just dump and move on.

This coin on the other hand just hijacks the name and doesnt fork off at all.....maybe because its too much work? Cheesy Cheesy
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BlockCAT - Visual Smart Contract Designer || Beta just launched! 🚀 on: June 28, 2018, 02:54:02 PM
Why the price sucks? Because there is no community, you should list on large exchanges, otherwise this project can't survive well.

Community is important, exchange is not....only newbs think that getting listed on binance will save a coin

You do realize that this time last year the buzz was all about poloniex and getting listed there right? The hot centralized exchange comes and goes, all that matters is whether or not there is liquidity. BlockCAT has liquidity, people can easily buy and sell on cryptopia.

Around 4200 sats right now down from its all time high of 50k sats, looks like a good buy. Chart looks very similar to ERC-20 projects that came out last year. Wouldn't be surprised to see this 10-20x in the next two years. Especially if developers are able to easily utilize their platform.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] 💻💻💻Callisto Network💻💻💻 on: June 27, 2018, 07:50:00 PM
There are lot of usless comments on the forum topic & telegram, prople are writing copypasting from the main callisto.network site and from the whitepaper just to make the number of posts to get the bounty reward
The intention was to help noobies, not to write just to make a number of posts to get the bounty doesnt help the CLO community

Think about it...

Signature in the profile is much more effective. I think the team should think about this kind of bounty.

Agree

I 3rd this.

My sig campaign is likely to end soon, would be interested to join this one as I believe it to be a reputable and worthwhile project to promote. Hope they integrate a sig campaign.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are cryptocurrencies ranked? Price, Project or market performance? on: June 27, 2018, 04:15:45 PM
i think you are asking for basic factor for coin ranking on coin market cap, well the answer is simple, coins are ranked according to the daily volume of each coin, btc is the most traded coin at the moment and its volume exceeds $100 billion so it is ranked number one, similarly Eth has second highest volume so it is ranked number two, i hope you understood now.
Now I think you have answered my question correctly. So they rank by Daily volume of each coin in the market. So for instance if a coin starts trading than bitcoin and has larger volume you are saying it will definitely be ranked first?

Thanks for saying your point of view which i think it seems right and reasonable.

yes indeed it will replace Bitcoin on coinmarketcap list,
just like what happened with Ethereum a few years ago,it surpassed Bitcoin for a few times and reached the top.
but it did not last long, because they knew Bitcoin is the king and ETH only gained that much because of its mass pump and popularity.

bullshit posting here, both are wrong also

it sort default by MARKET CAP not VOLUME

stupid spam bot posting on this forum is out of control, jesus they should just create their own ERC-20 token and reward people who report this garbage
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★★DigiByte|极特币★★[DGB]✔ DigiSync v6.16.2 - DigiSpeed - Segwit -DiguSign on: June 27, 2018, 03:47:46 PM
DGB the coin that is falling the most today. It's a shame that this coin is turning into a cash ATM for Asic miners. Soon there will be no hope and DGB will die before other projects.

but why is it dropping like a rock???
i have quite some of them and the value vanishes like ice to the sun...
dgb dissapoints me soo much right now.... Huh

It's falling like this because of Asic miners who are selling non-stop to cashout. DGB devs are not addressing the mining issue fast enough and this will kill this coin.

It is falling because of the whole crypto market going down. Thats all. This has nothing to do with asics... Completely nonsense!

Non sense is ignoring the problem with this coin. DGB barely recovered today, BTC is up 10% and DGB went down 20% yesteday and today it's up only 10%. In summary DGB is 10% down despite BTC going up.

Why? I'll tell you why, ASIC miners!!!!

The ASIC Miners Are on the market since decembre last year. And you Want to Tell me that today up and down is because of the ASIC‘s? Sorry guy, But you have no idea what you are talking about...

It's the same theme within so many communities right now.

An outcry from people claiming "why" their coin is tanking, the reasons can range from developer neglect to lack of marketing to asics as seen in here.

I think all of these reasons are just vices to try and avoid the obvious overall bear trend that has really hit crypto recently, literally all altcoins have been slowly dumping.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: June 27, 2018, 03:42:44 PM
But it's just TBA, as it stands the requirements could be literally any number
The major malfunction in the whole thing, for me, is the DDSS integration. It just seems like such an asymmetrical system
Investors are in the dark in terms of what to shoot for
It's apparently such an important component though that you would think there would be some type of rough math worked out

If you paid attention to the iagon presale when it was open and going through dragon you would have gotten an idea for ideal slumber scores for ICOs

I don't remember exactly but it was something like a DSS above 1 mil was going to get each IAGON token at .08c...there were tiers for .10c and 12c

That would have been considered the "pre-sale", the public sale was going to start at .14c...so if you had a 1 mil slumber score and got in at .08c then when it hit the market you would already be up like 80%.

Hopefully we will get shots at early access to ICOs in the future, will depend if they really create an environment/marketplace for businesses to build on...overall the sentiment is pretty bad...not just in drgn but everywhere in the market.

Cardano Co-Founder: Wall Street Will Bring ‘Tens of Trillions of Dollars’ to Crypto

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cardano-co-founder-wall-street-will-bring-tens-of-trillions-of-dollars-to-crypto

What do you think guys?

You people are seriously trolling.  It's Charles Hoskinson trying to pump and dump via Twitter.  He made that statement just straight out of left field based on no kind of news or fundamentals or anything.  Like he just drank a 12 pack and that was the first idea he had at random.  Someone claimed I was a "poor man's Charles Hoskinson" once which makes it even more ridiculous : /.

It was like he just got a call from some investor that said "holy fuck we need to dump these shitcoins but there's no buyers, get on Twitter and do an Anton Antonopoulos pump and dump impersonation!".  I would also like to add that MIT is completely compromised for anything cryptocurrency related and it seems like both Gavin and Antonopoulos have hung out around there and given talks.

Sheez you are one salty baby boomer
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [BITG] Bitcoin Green | Sustainable Bitcoin | POS | 85% MN | #savebitcoin on: June 26, 2018, 07:07:06 PM
It will be necessary to study in more detail the project itself and team if it is. I wonder what the project plans and goals, as well as methods of implementation and implementation. The coin may be issued purely for speculative purposes and does not carry anything of value. But a lot of good reviews from beginners. I wonder what it is, they are paid for it or not?

I'm not an investor that comes on bitcointalk to shill a project for personal gain.

The specs are great also. 21m total coins and only 3m coins in circulation. That's a winner to me. Add the masternodes and the project elevates even more.

hip hop and away...

Pretty much what you say you are not doing is exactly what you are doing  Cheesy

The detail you go into about the specs are astonishing....wow just because it has 21m coins and 3m in circulation makes it a winner huh? Man it must have taken hours or research to come to that conclusion....

Go back 4-5 pages and you will see my post saying this coin WILL dump to 50-55k, guess I was right huh? Sorry but the only thing this coin has going for it is branding, and even then it's hijacking the bitcoin name and not even forking off. This is nothing more than a pivx/dash masternode clone with POS and a green branding angle.

Not that it's a terrible project, just don't believe hype, these young masternode coins are prone to consistent dumping right now.

wow, you have no clue about crypto's. Go back to moms basement

My prediction coming true shows I do have a clue, thanks for you're irrelevant comment though  Kiss Kiss
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ETC] Ethereum Classic: Immutable Smart Contracts on: June 26, 2018, 05:53:59 PM
Been stable and actually increasing despite almost all other alts dumping, that says something there, at 250k it's so cheap considering where it was before.

This will pump, coinbase add is so much bigger than people think, the overall bear market just overshadows it.

Way undervalued atm

jsnip4 been talking about it recently, think what you want of him but alot of coins he talks about ends up spiking

the youtube transition tool was a great idea, but it broke within what a week?
they thought they could do the "TPS" of youtube, their tool broke b4 10% of people had their vids ported Sad  has it even caught up YET? a YEAR later? Sad
have the "20k Burkley vids" they were so proud of even up? ive seen like MAYBE 200...

same mistake many crypto projects make sadly
their premines so big they dont care, small team? i think theres like 20+ people?

i think they will just continue to dump the premine as they have through many ways, then sell the project when "done" inna few months, look the the CEOs, they do that over and over, serial entrepreneurs. build a project, sell if off for big payout, rinse and repeat

Who would they sell it to if it has no value which is what you seem to be implying?

Even if they sold it to some big company I think that would probably be great for any LBC holders.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are cryptocurrencies ranked? Price, Project or market performance? on: June 25, 2018, 07:59:36 PM
By default CMC (coin market cap) will show all cryptos by rank of market cap.

The price of a coin shown on CMC is the Market Cap divided by the Circulating supply (Mrkt Cap / Cir Supply)

The market cap can be found by multiplying the price by the circulating supply (Price X Cir Supply)

So the market cap shown on CMC is really just an aggregate of the most recent price paid on all exchanges, and in most cases this price is defined by bitcoin price in satoshi, since most alts only trade to bitcoin still. This is why you will see alts go down in USD value when bitcoin goes down.

CMC will not show any advanced statistics like github contributions, sentiment reports, google searches ect ect...these can better define a coin.

Hope I was of some help. good luck

316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: LBRY.IO - DICUSSION THREAD on: June 25, 2018, 05:04:00 PM
There were 3 main things that contributed to Library's down fall:

1. The Dev's absolute refusal to market it and attract more users. They simply thought that users would magically just show up and were too stubborn to put together a solid marketing & user acquisition plan.

2.The Token economics of LBC is absolute garbage. The inflation has nearly stripped all its value from the token. Just look at the LBC chart. The Sat value is headed to zero by the time all the coins are printed into existence. If you had invested a substantial sum of money a year ago you would have been 20x down on bitcoin at this point. Absolutely TERRIBLE model and zero incentive to use or hold the token. They should have just allowed people to use the app with other, more establish coins instead of LBC.

3. The UX is not good at all. Their downloaded-able application nearly kills my entire computer when running it. Also, the user interface is super elementary. They needed to create a simple web based application.

I was a long time LBC follower but they simply got crushed by the competition and now they are swimming in a sea of other alt coins and random projects. I believe they truly had a chance to get ahead of the market a year ago but were too stubborn to market the project and get the word out. Now I am not really sure about the future of this project but I really do wish them the best.

1. I feel like their marketing wasn't all that bad, they had a mechanism for youtubers to migrate to LBRY and created an incentive to do so. They also ran campaigns for subscribers to earn free LBC to watch videos. I feel like every skeptic always says that a project didn't do enough marketing. In your opinion what else could they have done marketing wise?

2. I will agree with you that the distribution of the token really hurt the price, especially early on. But maybe that will slowly effect the price in years to come as the reward slowly declines? I feel like they should have just went with standard halvings like btc.

3. The UX is only 2 years old though man, you gotta admit it's not that bad considering its been a small team and a short amount of time. I believe a web-based application and a mobile application is in the works.

And on you're last point I wouldn't say it's been crushed by the competition, maybe if you consider any 2017 ICO competition then yes. But as far as a decentralized media sharing platform I feel like they are still very relevant. But you are right that they are swimming in a sea of other random projects, being 294 on CMC it will be hard for new investors to find them.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: June 25, 2018, 04:52:22 PM
I would've never thought that factom would end up having a such a downturn
The same could be said for the other cryptocurrencies. But as investor you should know that sooner or later a new bull market will emerge.

will take time, but for sure we will see new ATH for all good coins/projects .

If in January/December someone would show me the prices of certain cryptos in June I would cringe and maybe poop a little in my pants but I wouldn't be that surprised to be honest. If you have been in crypto for a while this kind of sick nasty volatility is something that comes with it.

It's the opposite feeling of cringing and pooping in my pants that enables me to hold and not worry even after my investment looses so much, like if someone showed me what crypto prices will be in June 2019 vs now, the euphoria and excitement associated could be priceless.

318  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 25, 2018, 03:50:32 PM
Some bot on GDAX is buying at roughly $6300 USD - 0.001 BTC a pop, over and over, currently unbounded in volume. When their wall gets eaten through, they submit another at 25 BTC worth just under current market.

I see it

It looks like its buying and then market selling right back? What am I missing?
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain Token Sale on: June 25, 2018, 03:39:47 PM
Where to store the Dragonchain coins?

Ledger Nano S is that working? Or will there be a Main net aka EOS?

Peace

Trezor is also an option.

But be careful when moving around your coins because everytime you do it will reset your DSS score.....you don't want to do that

Edit: Dragonchain has released a solution to this problem so that users can transfer coins to other (more secure) wallets and not lose DSS score. There is a small fee but it seems worth it if you have accumulated a large score and don't want to lose it.

Can you please tell me little bit more about that DDSS, do I have to register somewhere? Or is it enough with the MYEtheraddressWallet on the Ledger Nano S?

Thank's in advance

Peace

You don't have to register anywhere just hold all your dragon at the same address.

Go to https://dragonchain.com/slumber-score

Enter your address in there to see what your slumber score currently is. The score will be used (to the discretion) of companies that are incubated through the dragonscale program to denote ICO discounts.

So if you have a high score you may get very profitable discounts on up and coming ICOs. There was also talk of dragonchain migrating to it's own chain and if they do that the DSS will be used to integrate nodes on the network.

Overall the score is a mechanism to reward holders of the token. At the moment the only mechanism of reward I am aware of is the discount on incubated ICOs.
