301  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 18, 2023, 09:37:33 AM
Shorting your play time in gambling is the best strategy in gambling, apart from knowing how to manage your bankroll, don't spend too much time on a casino game, the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.
That's true. Because in order to play longer, a gambler needs a decent bankroll (unless you're lucky to win and never got busted early). Everytime I gamble, I have a set budget and that's the only amount that I should use in playing. If I lose early, there's no extension and I have to stop. But sometimes I was able to play for like an hour or two because i'm lucky in the game that I chose.

It's fine to stay long if you're still using your set budget and not keep on depositing just to sustain your eagerness to keep playing. Discipline and self control are important so you won't go beyond your limit.
302  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 18, 2023, 07:50:17 AM
I agree, it is dumb for a casino not to KYC a player before they sign up, because they could deposit their own money/receive a tip, and try to withdraw but that money is just gone. Makes me think some casinos are thieves, such as roobet. Happened to me, but I ended up just KYCing, but for people who don’t have it available, they just have frozen money.
Really disappointing but these days, we have to prepare for that as they will be able to ask you KYC anytime. That is why it is better to choose a legit and reputable site so if they ask for that we don't bother and worry about complying with it knowing that they will keep it and not use it for other purposes.
Nowadays, it is an urge by the government as well for casinos to do that in order to avoid fraud and other illegal transactions, we have to admit that it was a drill for them otherwise, the government will stop their operation. We have to admit that our privacy is soon to be over, we can't hide anymore.

Indeed. Regulated casinos will sooner or later ask their customers to verify their identity to continue playing or to be able to withdraw, and this is not new anymore. So expect such thing will happen if you're playing in centralized casinos. Therefore, much better to KYC first before making your first deposit to make sure you're already verified because who knows you might end up winning a decent amount. But be sure you are dealing with a reputable casinos. Anyway, it is still our choice if we don't want to submit our private information because we are free to look for alternative.
303  Local / Pilipinas / Re: When do you think is the next bull run will start, and why? on: December 18, 2023, 04:33:41 AM
Feel ko next year pa ito mangyayari, currently the market crash na which is trying to testing the support and resistance nito feel ko nga itong 41k is bababa na naman sa mga 35-36k hula ko lang naman tapos tsaka na magkakasunduan ng mga naiwang mga trades at tsaka na ito lilipad, feel ko this christmas is mag sideways galawan na nitong mga ito tapos tamang abang na naman ng market pump feel ko nga mag red ulit pag March like we experience before. Ika nga Invest when people fear and Take profit when they get FOMO.

Pero ganun pa man like what I said ay mabilis din agad ito makakarecover.
304  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Behavioral Change!!! on: December 17, 2023, 11:00:14 PM
It's understandable that if you win you feel better while if you lose your mood is not good. But it's not right that the people around you suffers. Learn how to manage your emotion when you gamble and try to control yourself. So even after playing regardless of the result, you're still fine because gambling doesn't affect your behavior.

Before, I experienced this too. I can't handle myself and it's hard to accept the reality of losing my money in gambling. But then, I think I became used to losses and was able to face the fact that if you gamble, you need to expect that you'll lose your money. Thus, just enjoy the game and don't spend the money that you can't live without. Because if you have high hopes that's the where the problem starts.
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 17, 2023, 09:52:46 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.
Well, I often play Baccarat and it's a game based on luck so I don't think intelligence has something to do on this game. Unless you're playing a skill based games, because strategy and knowledge could work to win (though not guaranteed still).

Therefore if you're thinking carefully trying to figure out the strategy to use to be able to win. Then I think we can somehow say that it has something to do with intelligence. Nevertheless, the choice of games are not the basis if you're smart or if you are your using your brain to have an advantage for the specific game. Gambling is existing to entertain ourselves and be lucky to make money. The games are not the basis to know the player's intelligence.
306  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: December 17, 2023, 09:34:01 AM
Correct Roobet seems to lessen their way of advertising here in Bitcointalk and not planning
to add more anytime in the future as even their Signature campaigns are now running with 10 members from 60 regular members
It's pretty common for most casino after some years of launching themselves here. If you remember the likes of Cloudbet, Bustadice,Bitsler etc, they used to have lots of promotions here back in the day but as time passed their activity reduced in the forum.
Now I am not saying every casino follows the same path but sometimes these things happen.

Agreed, a couple of years ago, there were a lot of promotions (in the games and round section) from both Roobet and Duelbits but that sadly stopped some time ago. Now you see some newer casinos launching promotions as it is a good way in getting new members.
New casinos need a marketing strategy to spread awareness and be known. If the casino is already established it is not surprising if they will lessen their promotion to cut cost since they already reach their goal of attracting the gamblers and gaining their trust.

Well, this is not possible if the platform is shady. But since these casinos are reputable, it's already easy for them to have a loyal gamblers to keep playing on their casino through exclusive promotions, rewards and benefits. Most importantly the fact that they will not scam their gamblers is one of the main reason on how they build their good reputation.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 17, 2023, 08:33:28 AM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?
Honestly, sometimes I only read the important things that I want to know. But I make sure that the casino where I am going to play is a trustworthy and recommended of most gamblers here. Because even you didn't read their rules one by one, you'll already gain idea due to the experience of gamblers who played there.

Anyway, of course it is advisable to read the ToS before using the platform. This is crucial and necessary to become aware of the rules. Especially the KYC section wherein many gamblers are still not comfortable submitting their personal information.
308  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 17, 2023, 07:46:10 AM
I think this will not be the case anymore, those who got their RLB free had been selling it when the RLB market started uptrend last time.  I think the  RLB holders now has more patience and for sure they will be holding RLB for some time, and if RLB started to get bullish, the possibility of FOMO-ing is always there  so it won't be surprising if we see another run that will break its current ATH.  But for sure, dumping will happen when someone wants to cash out their profit.
Many investors who got their RLB through airdrop before probably sold their token already at the time Rollbit added the feature of buying and selling on the platform because it's already convenient. I know some who did this. The price is around $0.03 something at that time, quite cheap. They didn't wait for a price growth and already take profit since they got their token for free.

It's understandable if investors are selling when there's an increase but if it is from airdrop, I think it's worth to wait since you already have nothing to lose. Those who have patience (even though they spend money to have RLB) are seeing the importance of holding because there's a chance to gain more if they wait further.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: help me not to leave btc on: December 15, 2023, 08:41:07 AM
What kind of mindset should I have to stay in Bitcoin? And I think Bitcoin is about to hit the highest price ever, so how should I plan my dca strategy?
Trust and patience are crucial if you're going to invest in Bitcoin. That's how you can bear to continue holding and not be tempted to sell until the price reached your desired price to take profit. But of course you need to dig deeper first to know what you're getting into. If you already gain knowledge then have plan on how you would like to accumulate Bitcoin. On the other side DCA strategy is good since you don't have to mind the price before buying and it's best for long term gains.
310  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is hard!!! on: December 15, 2023, 07:29:02 AM
In trading you'll fail a thousand times but it's your ability to pick yourself that differentiate you from the lot. Pay for knowledge to shorten your learning time, else you'll learn and you'll learn the hard way.
It's not bad to fail because that's how we'll learn. Experience can give us a valuable lesson that we can use to our trading journey. It is hard if you're going to pressure yourself. But if you take time and exert an effort learning to understand what trader must be aware of first, then this can give you an idea to maximize your chance to profit in trading.

However, though anyone can try to be a trader, sometimes it's not suited to all. But you will never know unless you try so it's worth giving it a shot and see if this is a way for you to profit.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: help me choose the best possible ALTCOINS for 2024/2025 on: December 15, 2023, 03:15:38 AM
im looking into ALTCOINS i wont to invest into projects such as AI , GAMING , DEFI  - do you recommend any other SECTORS ?

what would be the best time to start buying them ? now  ore before halfing  ore after halving ?  some of them are really low how low can they even get ?
DYOR that's how you'll know the best altcoins to buy. In my portfolio, I have ETH and BNB that's what I think is good to hold even before. But it doesn't mean you just follow what i'm doing. As I have said, have your own research to have your own understanding. On the other side, for me it's good to buy before halving since we'll never know what will happen after that.

do you think BITCOIN will revisit 30K before halving ? if that happens ALTCOINS could bleed heavily ...
I don't think that's going to happen but of course we can't say since Bitcoin is unpredictable. You can wait for correction or buy at the current price if you can afford it. Just be certain that the coins that you're going to buy is not shitcoins.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Young student teaching his classmates about Bitcoin on: December 14, 2023, 09:12:08 AM
Imagine he knew all this by the age of 9? I can sense that he can do more in the future and more technical than bitcoin. A lots of users doing crypto arent really old people butt some are quite young and still on their early phase of life. They are lucky to be exposed with this kind of environment unlike before that to learn bitcoin you must deal with it and none are really helpful about it.

His parents likely doing crypto too and teaches their kid.
This is the result of his parent's influence. If you are surrounded by people using and talking a lot about Bitcoin, chances are you'll also adopt it since you're expose to this kind of discussion even at a very young age. Just shows children can learn and understand what supposed to be an adult's business. As long as they understand how it work then they will show interest that can result to influencing others with the same age as the kid. A proof that anyone can engage themselves in Bitcoin regardless of your age. Because if you are interested and willing to learn, for sure age is not a hindrance to make this happen.
313  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 14, 2023, 04:54:44 AM
We have cryptocurrency you still use Banks ?
I still use bank but I don't save huge amount in my account. I have an atm for urgent matter, that's why I still save but a big portion of my assets are in crypto particularly in Bitcoin.

Do you think banks not working reliable any more ?
Many people trust bank. Though I don't have bad experience (fortunately), I can say it's still reliable to store your money in crypto rather than letting it sleep in bank with very low annual interest. I'm using bank for convenience that's why i'm not completely closing doors even there are already alternative. When it comes to investment, I still prefer Bitcoin and other established crypto.

315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll! on: December 13, 2023, 06:25:09 AM
1. How much bankroll can you afford to start with?
Depends on my set budget, but usually it ranges to $20-$40. That's my set amount meant for leisure.

2. With your bankroll, how much expected profit do you anticipate in a year?
I never think of it honestly. Of course as a gambler I want to win and somehow earn. But if that's your mindset when playing, it's not going to be healthy since you have high hopes which is not advisable in gambling.

3. Will you be content with your profit? If not, have you considered increasing your bankroll, even if you cannot afford it?
I don't go beyond my set budget and that's how I discipline myself. So if i'm out of funds already then it's time to quit. Regardless of how much I won during my gambling session that's already good enough.
316  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever heard about financing a gambler? on: December 13, 2023, 03:59:53 AM
Surprisingly, funding a gambler is a gamble. Like you, I think this is risky. Why? Since the financier becomes an indirect player, sustaining losses without the joy of the game. Almost like a shadow gambler, invisible but involved. Shouldnt risk be assessed for sustainability rather than short-term gains?
Exactly. Why finance a gambler if you can do it yourself? At least you can enjoy the game even you're not fortunate to win. Because in gambling, profits are not guaranteed. Therefore it's not a wise idea (if you value your money) to finance someone to play if the chances of gaining from gambling is just based on this player's luck. Anyway, if you decided to take risk by financing a gambler, might as well consider your money as a throw away so you won't be disappointed if worst case happened.

Maliit man o malaki ang profit eh dapat nating i appreciate.
318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 12, 2023, 12:59:22 PM
Hey house someone need a few clips here, don't know if a post of this exact nature has been discussed though.

In a situation where the both spouse are gamblers. Husband gambles, wife gambles, how can both of them manage the situation in terms of finance and the family affairs especially when children are now involve so that the time both spends on gambling doesn't affect family moments and affairs in general.

Would it help if  one of the couple quit for the other and if that's the case who should quit for who.
If there's one who should quit then for me it's the wife since often she is the one managing the finances. Therefore if the wife is a gambler, she might get tempted to spend their household budget into gambling (but this still depends on the level of her gambling activity). On the other side, if both gamble just to have fun, I don't think one should quit to give way for the other. Communication and understanding each other are the key so that they still prioritize their family in general. And just gamble during free time using a money meant for their leisure.
319  Economy / Gambling / Re: Slot Educational on: December 12, 2023, 05:11:38 AM
in the video, it is not explained which region (city) it comes from but it is clear that the parade is from my country, in the parade it is clear what slot players get when they play from the "first" month (still motorbikes are expensive) to month "fourth" (ugly motorcycle).

without direct education by the central and local governments to young people and the general public, I think this kind of parade is not effective enough, it's even obvious, the parade is the initiative of the private community in the area.

do you think, a parade like this will be effective in reducing the level of gambling addiction?
I don't think any sort of parade will be effective in reducing gambling addiction in the current situation. Because gambling sites advertise them in such a way that they cannot escape their addiction. They arrange various types of video marketing in such a way that it looks like anyone who goes there and gambles will get rich quick. Seeing these, people's inner greed compels them to gamble. To get rid of the bad addiction of gambling, first of all you have to control yourself and control your greed.  Otherwise the desire to gamble cannot be reduced in any other way
Indeed. Many advertisements are quite attractive and tempting for people to try gambling. If you're not familiar with it and see an ads wherein a gambler win a huge amount through playing slots (or any other games) certainly you'll be curious if it's really true and that's the moment you will gamble to try it yourself. Though the intention of this parade is good, it might not enough to reduce gambling addiction or to stop the gamblers from playing. It depends on the understanding of people who saw this parade and how they want it to apply for themselves.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin at its ATH of 2023 so far on: December 12, 2023, 02:26:55 AM
Bitcoin has surged for 2.87% today and reached the highest level in 2023. Does this year has more surprises for us and we can break all time high of bitcoin ?
It's nice seeing the price of Bitcoin over $40k because it's been a while. Although there's a minor correction, the price is still decent for those who want to take profit and bought their Bitcoin below or above $20k.

Only 2 weeks more before this year end, I don't think the price can manage to surpass the previous ATH since the increase is not consistent. Instead, bull run might happen after halving (maybe months or a year after) just like the past history. Anyway, Bitcoin is unpredictable so let's see when will the price break its previous ATH because we're all waiting for that event especially the long term hodler.
