Naku!

302  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Bagong game na nightcrows on: March 14, 2024, 09:36:52 AM
https://www.nightcrows.com/en?wmsso_sign=check
https://www.nightcrows.com/en/token/playbook

303  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Anong altcoin ngayon ang may potential mag x10 to x100? on: March 14, 2024, 09:03:27 AM
Up dito. Nagstop nako saking DCA which was mostly BTC lang din since 2022.

ETH, BNB then kunting Doge, Syscoin, Gala at Chainlink. Mataas ang potential ng ma ito pero I doubt kaya nila mag x10 man lang.

Baka meron interested magshare ng coins dito na meron potential mag x10 or more at kunting explanation.
304  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: PCSO Discussion thread on: March 14, 2024, 08:34:09 AM
305  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: March 14, 2024, 08:12:45 AM
Boring main event. Both looked like non-championship fighters. I wonder how long Dana White protects this Pink Poodle from Dvalishvili. Cejudo was already taken care of. Long time champion Aljamain Sterling should've been given an immediate rematch but surprisingly his mind changed and is now moving up in weight, probably convinced or paid by Dana.

I wouldn't call it boring, it was a decent fight. I don't like O'Malley as a human being and I don't like what he represents, but I have to give him credit when it's due - he's a solid and consistent fighter. But yeah, he's probably not looking forward to a fight against Dvalishvili, he called out Ilia instead, which is a very good move. Losing to Topuria would bring him no shame at all, he would earn tonnes of money and by calling him out makes him look brave and confident in the eyes of the fans.
Sadly, Dana wasn't happy with the idea in the post-fight press conference.

I would've appreciate if it he was fighting safe against a Cejudo or Sterling or Merab. The fight only became a little interesting in the late rounds only because O'Malley is obviously not used to 5 rounders and he cannot stop Vera because of his limited and play safe offense. If O'Malley won't fight Merab then I am happy to see him against Ilia. Cheesy

Great wins by Maddalena and Poirier but heart-breaking losses by Gilbert and Saint-Denis. Damn, Gilbert should've stayed it safe but he has a heart of a warrior and risked his position in the last seconds of the final round. Saint-Denis was a bit reckless there and was finally caught hard.

Saint-Denis got some reality-check, fighting no-names is not the same as fighting guys from the top 5, but I don't think that loss would hurt his career in any way. He still managed to present himself well and caused Poirier a lot of troubles in the first round.

Saint-Denis is still young and can climb back in the rankings. But the stoppage can make or break him depending on how it affects him mentally. I just thought Poirier is already in the sunset of his career and the younger French is taking over. Saint-Denis was winning as expected but he really needs to address his bad habits if he wants to reach the top.
306  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 14, 2024, 07:47:37 AM
^^ I think it's more on Oscar Valdez to win this fight. He has lost to Shakur and Navarette, those two are really great boxers. But I think the pressure will be on his shoulder here as for me this is a must win for him. Although 130 lbs is pretty much stack up at this point, champions like O'Shaquie Foster the WBC reigning titlist. So it will be very hard for Valdez to climb up in ranks. But if he wanted to, he can start by defeating Wilson. They are in the WBO, so maybe the winner might face either Albert Bell as he is the number 1 rank and it could be a title eliminator and face Navarette. So it will take 2 fights for Valdez to have another shot, hard road but maybe he could still do it.

There are rumors of Navarette moving up in weight for a chance to become a 4 division world champion. So maybe the winner of this fight can fight for the vacant WBO belt. But if Navarette is not planning to move up, I think it is better for Valdez to focus on the other champions. Roach of the WBA, WBC champ Foster and IBF ruler Joe Cordina are better for him than the tough as nails WBO champion.

This is a great fight anyways. This is a great opportunity for Liam Wilson to prove that his close fight with Navarette was not a fluke. I am planning to bet on Wilson in this fight.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 14, 2024, 07:01:06 AM
...
Yeah, maybe Ngannou has a better chance of winning against Wilder because that guy has little skills in boxing.

That will be a great fight, two heavy hitters. But I think Wilder will still have the advantage.

Yeah, Wilder still has the advantage because he is used to the sport more than Ngannou. If only Ngannou is younger, he can developed into a better fighter.

Dana White is right, former UFC fighters crossing into a different sport ended like that. They ended up becoming multi-millionaires. Who cares about losing in another sport for a big payday. It's like Lebron James losing to Lionel Messi in a soccer exhibition game. No shame in that IMO. It only bring shame on Dana and his partners for keeping the huge part of UFC revenue.

Until UFC stars are not getting the same level of revenue share boxers are getting, it won't stop them from wanting to crossover.

It might be good if Dana will also address that, the payday in UFC is small as compare to these boxers who are getting millions in every fight if they are a champion. Unlike UFC fighters though. Perhaps fighters like Conor or Jones can command millions per fight. But the rest is getting little paycheck to paycheck. So it make sense for fighters like Francis to set greener pasteur on the other side of the fence.

UFC superstars have better contracts now especially to demanding fighters. But still far from boxers' PPV revenue share and their purse guarantees. But maybe boxing superstars are overpaid or their purse guarantees are just too high which is why networks like HBO and Showtime left.

Yeah, maybe Ngannou has a better chance of winning against Wilder because that guy has little skills in boxing.
(...)

Not a big fan of Wilder, but I wouldn't say he's lacking skills. The guy has more knockouts than any other active heavyweight. He also sent Fury to the canvas few times (but then again, so did Francis).
As for the Wilder Vs Ngannou - I think the way AJ defeated Francis effectively killed his boxing hype and he's no longer seen as an attractive opponent. Ironically it would be better if he stayed down after the first knock out, as then it could be spun as a "lucky" punch, or just a brief moment of him getting careless etc. But Joshua was so dominant, that there's no doubt he was just multiple levels above Ngannou in boxing skills.

I think we're much more likely to see Wilder Vs AJ, which would indeed be a great fight to watch.

As for Ngannou, the PFL has already announced he will return to mma and will be fighting Renan Ferreira, although the date is not yet set:
https://www.pflmma.com/news/ngannou-to-make-pfl-mma-debut-against-winner-of-pfl-champions-vs-bellator-champions-heavyweight-superfight-between-renan-ferreira-and-ryan-bader

Wilder is overrated, a product of careful matchmaking and was pumping his wins against nobodies. Wilder needs 32 wins before fighting for the belt. Cherry picked opponents for his title defenses. Ducked Wladimir Klitschko for years hostage the belt and preventing the division to have an undisputed champion. Instead of challenging AJ for the undisputed belts he challenged and tried to exploit Fury who just came back from long years of inactivity and mental problems. AJ only need 15 and Usyk only 9 fights before having their title fights and were ready to unify the belts once they became champions.

I think Ngannou being inactive from MMA is taking a huge risk against Ferreira. We'll see if he takes Ferreira because Ngannou even if he lost badly to AJ might still receive bigger purse in boxing.
308  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Huwag magpadala sa at maging practical on: March 13, 2024, 09:43:45 PM

309  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you believe in savings or investment on: March 13, 2024, 09:13:14 PM
I grew up from a poor family with a lot of hardships. I noticed how small the take home pay of my father after a lot deductions from loans. So I developed a mindset to never take a loan as much as possible. Having a business was also in my mind but I was busy with my job so all I can do is to save. Saving money was everything to me back then. I dream of paying cash for my house and car.

Until I realized, I cannot save more than enough to achieve my dreams and financial freedom. I resigned from my job and worked abroad. Everything changed, almost all of the extra money from my regular salary went to different types of investments, usually stocks and crypto. It's mostly from my crypto investments that made my assets grow.

Kings ML vs Lakers in Sacramento.
311  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 13, 2024, 02:48:18 PM
As Dana White put it,

Quote
“You know how I feel about crossovers into boxing,” White told reporters following UFC 299 in Miami. “That’s how they end. Just like that.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/dana-white-s-how-crossovers-into-boxing-end--182037

@inthelongrun - I do agree, I think if you are really a boxing fan, we all know that at some point, the skills of AJ as boxer will take over.

However, I don't think that this will stop though, those MMA fighters crossing over and making a ton of money like what Francis got in only 2 fights as a pro boxer. And we have the classic example of Floyd vs Conor as the first cross over fights that generated tons of money to a MMA fighter.

Yeah, maybe Ngannou has a better chance of winning against Wilder because that guy has little skills in boxing.

Dana White is right, former UFC fighters crossing into a different sport ended like that. They ended up becoming multi-millionaires. Who cares about losing in another sport for a big payday. 13 days na di pa din nagcloclose
14 days na now mate yet wala pa din hehehe.

Di na yan maban mga kababayan kow. Grin

313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 13, 2024, 02:04:53 PM
And this is what Ryan Garcia has to say,

https://twitter.com/RyanGarcia/status/1765430179697164711

So moving forward, he will be focusing on the fight and not on his social media. That's good to hear if he is serious.
But we all know that Ryan has a lot of followers and he gain that needed attention already in this fight, he has promoted it immensely. No question that he did this whole personality of him as the bad guy with that kind of posts and his conspiracies and other tweets that people think that he is going on another mental breakdown bout again.
However, he had Derrick James as trainer, so I doubt that he will allow his fighters to go on a downward spiral as this is another biggest fight for James and trying to break that curse of losing his students on a championship fight.

We will see if this bubbly kid commits to his word and focused on the remaining weeks before his fight. Ryan is having mental issues again with his weird posts. Even his ex-wife also posted asking for prayers to Ryan. Ryan's promoter Oscar though told the media that Ryan is doing well and will be ready by fight date.

Pretty sure Derrick James is concerned of his ward. This is also a huge break for him and the result of this fight dictates what happens next to his career as a coach. But what happens to Ryan's social media who's earning a weekly? Maybe he will hire someone to continue posting?

Oo natakot bai dahil naipit.
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 12, 2024, 10:17:36 AM
Rumors are circulating about Crawford facing Eubank Jr but I am not buying it. I am not sure what Crawford gets fighting Eubank Jr. and as mentioned by @Kemarit, both are working under Bomac. Or maybe both fighters have issues in the gym that they want to fight each other. But still, Crawford gets nothing fighting Eubank Jr unless he can dictate a catchweight.

Crawford's years are really wasted. Inoue if he wins in his next defense or if Usyk wins against Fury deserve to replace Crawford as the new pound for pound.
316  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gambling winning streak on: March 12, 2024, 09:24:04 AM
Baka few days lang sa akin. 4 to 6 days mga ganun. Mga 80k plus total winnings ko that time. So ayon nga simot yung 80k na gain. After nun namundok at tumigil muna.

318  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 12, 2024, 04:51:53 AM

I doubt that he underestimated Anthony Joshua. I believe what really happen is we overestimated him thinking he has a shot on beating a real pro boxer AJ. He was there because of the hype, we bought it and we believe he can win, when actually he is not a championship caliber fighter, he is just a newbie in boxing. I know he is good back in UFC, but that does not automatically make him great in boxing as well.
People thought Francis will be able to hold off Aj, same way he did Fury. Boxing can be an  unpredictable game, a game where title holders can lose to the underdogs in the case of Anthony Joshua and Francis, I feel like Aj was underestimated in the fight, they didn’t expect the match to take that quick turn of Aj winning by knockout. Now people will know that the UFC is way different from Boxing. Its training is more intensive compared to UFC game. Francis Ngannou  need to consider switching Into boxing. Aj even encouraged he doesn’t give up on his boxing aspiration.  Despite his lost he still  cashout in his ends.
Personally I think Francis will excel in boxing if he focus on the game, he has the physique  and of course the strength, at least we can’t deny that he has those qualities, he his an amazing athlete and if he keep his mind right and ready he can face any opponent thrown at him.

AJ was underestimated? Only a casual fan in the sport with zero to little knowledge will underestimate AJ's chances against Ngannou. I want Ngannou to win against AJ but I did not bet. For the knowledgeable fans, it is very hard to imagine a well-trained high ranked losing to Ngannou. These pros spent years since they were kids enhancing their skills and gaining experience.

But in the first place, Francis is just into boxing to cash out that can set his financial freedom. Surviving, scoring a knock down and losing close to Fury was a bonus. I am glad Ngannou earned around $30 million in just 2 fights. He deserved it. He can retire for good and help grow PFL.

Alperen Şengün, who was on his way to the top of his career, suffered a serious injury in the last match. There is no statement about his condition yet, I hope he does not have a serious injury and he will recover and return to the field in a short time. It is very sad for him that he suffered an injury at perhaps one of the most important times of his career. I am very afraid of a health problem that will reoccur. I hope there will be no problem with his self-confidence and he can continue playing with his old performance
This was a topic that I would comment on here too. Anyway, I hope Alperen Şengün recovers and that it's nothing serious. What made me worried and sad about this situation is that there was less than 1 minute left before the game ended and Şengün was seriously injured.

Is there any update on his injury yet? Maybe he had an ACL injury or something similar?

I had a bet on the Kings and was cheering for them but it was unfortunate that Sengun fell and got injured in the final minute of the game. Everyone is concerned with the injury including myself hoping it is not something serious.

But here is the good news just released a few hours ago, Sengun's falling on the floor caused a lot of injuries but none of them are major. This is great since everybody is looking forward to the young team especially next season. I believe the Rockets will become better next season and can get a solid top place in the playoffs.

I wonder if meron bumalik at nakakuha nitong rewards.
