Have an issue with verification as i no longer have my old phone that uses the 2FA.  I have a phone number that i received an sms message though but it showed verification error.
You received a code from your phone even though you already activated a 2fa app? As far as I know, it's impossible.

If you are using an Authenticator app or Authy for your 2FA codes, you will not receive SMS to your phone. Please use the code from the app to log in.

If you have kept your 2fa recovery codes, you can just import in a 2fa app.

If so, does anyone have coinbase email?

When you submitted the "Submit a Request form", It's just the same as sending an email to them. There's a reason on why they have put the form instead of their email address in the support page.

Quote from:  jerry0
It might be due to me not sending an email directly from the email i have on file with coinbase?

What do you mean by this? From my understanding, Did you put an email which is not associated with your Coinbase account at the "Submit a Request" Form?
If so, Kindly fill out the form again with a correct email address. And also state why you had to submit two entries because I just read that they are not fond of multiple entries as this can increase their work load

Please submit only one ticket for your issue. Creating multiple submissions for the same issue will result in an additional delay.

Figured I should add that coinbase is facing a lot of problems these past few days and they're still at it until now so expect a delayed response

3062  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 3 days of unconfirmed transactions on Yobit exchange on: December 22, 2017, 07:03:56 PM
Maybe your transaction fee is too low that is why your transaction is unconfirm do you have any TXID so that we can check if its really the problem..
This is not a yobit problem honestly its because of the fee increase these days.. there are lots of people are having this issue stuck or pending transactions..

Well they could have prevented it in the first place. Other exchanges has been changing their withdrawal fee when situations such as network congestion occurs.
Did they ever give warning to their users that withdrawals are not encouraged because of the high fees due to network congestion?? If not then they should have.

Anyways, Is this the solution that they come up with?  Grin Well that's cute

Viabtc = Seems to not be working anymore
Confirmtx = SCAM
pushtx.btc = Charges every transaction with $75+ (depends on the TX)
3063  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitpay / wallet question - transaction too low to spend on: December 22, 2017, 06:19:53 PM
i have a couple transactions that were sent to my bitpay wallet from mining altcoins on zpool.
zpool sent me .003 btc, but in my bitpay wallet it shows this transaction is too low to spend.
i know the fee's are quite high right now.  if all that dies down again in a week or month, will it be cheap to send again?

Bitpay provided an explanation about that. Quoting it for you:

What does the BitPay wallet's warning "amount too low to spend" mean?

This warning means that the incoming transaction is smaller than current recommended bitcoin network fee. If you try to redeem this bitcoin amount in the future, the fee required by the Bitcoin network may be higher than the amount itself.

And yes the high miner fees today are caused by the network congestion (270K+ unconfirmed transactions as of now) which is why if it's not urgent it's not advisable to send bitcoin especially if its a low amount. When the network has stabilized, fees will be reduced.

am i making a high co-pay (lots of transactions that will ultimately result in a high fee) by getting paid
in roughly .003 payments from mining pools?

Aside from the current network condition, Miner fees also depends on your transaction's size like how many inputs and outputs does it have.
Essentially if you are accepting lots of dust payments, you will have many inputs. In your case, I believe that .003BTC is not a dust amount although it will always be better to receive larger amounts.

You might wanna read this: https://news.bitcoin.com/how-to-calculate-bitcoin-transaction-fees-when-youre-in-a-hurry

if i save this amount up in my offline wallet, is that the best idea?
just mine and save? then hope it keeps going up, and sell / re-invest in a year or so?

Offline wallet? You mean cold storage? What kind of cold storage is it?. Well cold storage are the best although some kinds are hard to use imo like paper wallets.
If you know you will be using a portion of your funds frequently, Hardware wallets like ledger or trezor are a good choice although they're not free.

Essentially, Desktop wallets are also safe as long as you keep your pc clean, store your seed in a safe place, encrypt your wallet with a strong password.
3064  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain.info payment missing on: December 22, 2017, 02:18:18 PM
Should he wait more or is there anything to concern here?

Currently, It seems shapeshift and blockchain.info is having a problem with exchanging of coins. There are a significant number of people here who have posted a similar problem like yours. If you want to look, It's in the Web wallets and Exchange Boards

I contacted Shapeshift and sent them screenshot with Transaction and order id 2 days ago but still nobody replied or solved the issue. Help out guys

Try to follow it up on their social media sites below:

To add-on, They've released the current state of their support queue and as expected it's not a good situation for you. Response will probably take a week or so.

3065  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Bitcoin transaction problem on: December 22, 2017, 01:57:38 PM
Post you TXID here so we can now if it's really sufficient enough as the miner fees greatly depends on the size of your transaction (Input/s & Output/s) and the current network condition. The network is congested right now (280+ unconfirmed transactions) so your included fee should be higher than usual.

To clarify, How much did you send in btc?

3066  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mail from support@bitmain-alliance.com on: December 21, 2017, 10:23:00 PM
but how did they got my mail address? I never ordered something from bitmain-alliance?  Huh

It doesn't matter even if you ordered on their site or not, as long as they've got your email address they will send whatever they want, of course with the sole purpose of scamming.

Unfortunately it'll be hard determine the exact reason on why they got a hold of your email but I can think of some possibilities such as:

  • Mass buying illegally
  • Getting from a site where some emails are publicly displayed e.g. facebook, forums, whois etc.
  • Database leak
  • Or just randomly sent

Essentially, you should be fine as long as you ignore any unfamiliar emails but it wouldn't hurt to do some kind of precautionary measures such as to stop entering your email publicly as much as possible tho most sites today has an option where you can hide it. Second, Dont use any easy to guess email addresses. Lastly, setting a separate email for personal use, work use etc..as it actually depends on what you do. As for me I use 4: a). Personal b). Crypto Services (NO ICO) c). For 50-50 trust sites - it means I'm expecting to be spammed and if I had to display an email publicly, I use this d). My Spare one
3067  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is viabtc transaction accelerator really working? on: December 21, 2017, 07:40:24 PM
Viabtc transaction accelerator seems dead since last week, i always try it everyday but it always say Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later. I think it's because of many unconfirmed transaction and the network is super busy nowdays. Even antpool accelerator also kinda hard to push our txid.
Maybe Viabtc initiated the downtime of transaction accelerator if you look at the announcement page of BTC.com for Hashnest investors they have a loot of transactions still pending and they already tried to use accelerator but still the status is the same and besides there are other transaction accelerator services around here that does not require a deposit.

Well that's the most plausible explanation on what is currently happening imo, furthermore we'll see in the next few weeks if it'll be temporary or permanently.
As for antpool, I've come to a conclusion that it doesn't work anymore.

Honestly, No Free transaction accelerator will last if people keep abusing it. Remember that viabtc's site even went down a lot of times and after that this happens  Embarrassed

Hello there. The block failed to eth-btc when it failed to process. It was 18 hours, did not pay again. I did two different things. you check here I wrote you want help for you. Please check if I can get a refund?

0xd4d514daf289d1c69de1eea5b86fb2bf2964328a871d642a82146033f4cb9b73

Is this also from blockchain.info? Both transactions are confirmed [You can check the links below] and if the "trade failed", Yes you can get a refund. Actually, I haven't tried exchanging coins in blockchain.info as its not available in my country but I already tried in shapeshift and as you noticed when you exchanged your coins there is a tag  that states "powered by shapeshift" so I'm guessing that it's not that different  Huh.

Now, In shapeshift there is a field called "return address" its where they will send a refund in case something happens so have you seen a field like that and have you filled it out? If yes, Check that address if the ETH's are there. If not send a support ticket.

If there is no return address field or you didn't filled it out. Same solution send a support ticket and reference your Order ID as well as the TXID's below

Figured this should be helpful so I'll leave some links where you can contact them:

To increase your chances, also send one in shapeshift as blockchain.info's response will probably take longer  Undecided

3069  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Max fee blockchain.info on: December 21, 2017, 10:07:16 AM
No, The 1mb block size is the limit on how many transactions can fit in a block and this has nothing to do with fee's.

Can anyone explain why I get this numbers?

It's because with that amount of fee, you will be spending an amount greater than what you have. For obvious reasons you can't do that.
So you should lower your fee. The network is currently congested right now so if you don't want to get your transaction stucked, Use some guides to set a fee.

For example like this one:

The fastest and cheapest transaction fee is currently 870 satoshis/byte, shown in green at the top.
For the median transaction size of 226 bytes, this results in a fee of 196,620 satoshis.

Please note that the network can easily change so the recommended fee right now might not be the same in the next hours so you might want to add some allowance.
3070  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Blockchain wallet - bitcoin balance 0 on: December 21, 2017, 05:13:06 AM
Hi, please will anyone else have problem with blockchain.info wallet?I logged in now and it showing me bitcoin balance 0.But transactions are empty.

Do what error08 says, I can only think of two reasons on why this is happening. First is because its buggy, Second would be because it is receiving a high traffic.

Here are the other block explorers that you want to try to determine what is really happening.

This one updates every two days from what I know so it might be useless if you had recent transactions but it displays all related addresses from an account so if you have unspent outputs from many addresses, it will be helpful. Here it is: https://www.walletexplorer.com

It says at the bottom: Updated to block 500259 (2017-12-20 10:57:09). All times are in UTC and taken from block time. So it means transactions over that time is not recorded in their database and if you had one, don't use it and refer only to the links quoted above^.

And i have problem with mobile app too, it show me any HTML log.Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks

Try to update (If any) or just reinstall the app but be sure that you have backed up your recovery phrase first.
3071  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: blockchain issue on: December 20, 2017, 08:54:16 PM
This problem lies in blockchain.info's side so they're the only ones who can solve this. You can contact their support regarding this, I'll leave the links below. But please note that they are currently receiving a high volume of inquiries so you might get a response after weeks or might be longer  Roll Eyes

But if you want to access your funds asap. You can import it in another wallet. I recommend electrum.

Import it to electrum and spend it there (You can also view your private keys)

Tutorial: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed

*When electrum prompts you to enter your seed, Click options and tick the BIP39 Seed Box

*Imported Addresses are not included in your seed, and for that you can also use electrum and refer to this guide: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/importing-your-private-keys-into-electrum
3072  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: (Help!) Blockchain.info - Transaction change moved to unknown address on: December 20, 2017, 08:01:10 PM
Yes, the address 1AXXCct4QATf2UdX92piw1AA2As8AoZaoM is my paper wallet, and: 1LsLpbPNS2w98WnKbQ2MmubkQBWhxbPvrz is generated by BKinfo to send funds to the miners in 1ExXPXA6NxwnBpuzdJb68cCsRRKC5Cr3D1.

I don't know much about the technical parts in bitcoin mining but I'm pretty sure it doesn't go that way. Yes, Aside from the block reward, they also get to keep the transactions fees of the particular block they'd solved but it's just as simple as sending them to an address of their choosing.

I believe that in the address 141rWhPaeSpTqn2YH1fw2WFnwhojQTERyp, the balance should have been sent to the exchange: 1PjcZKMFR8wkFjoMAE2aoVfSeB5xHwVLdu, and then to himself, with the remaining balance being moved to my standard wallet.

According to block explorer's, You've used the outputs (funds) of address 1KfTVrLG376B7SYb1bA6NnY7KyK825T72B to send some bitcoins to the exchange.
(Reference: https://blockchain.info/tx/7b506a1623eb4edc0d10b221c8abc84e2f1c8b59b425cde566dc16b7c25bbdf3).

So this clearly doesn't happen and I don't see the exchange address from 141rWh......Ryp transactions either

However: 1KfTVrLG376B7SYb1bA6NnY7KyK825T72B was created after him, which is showing as Watch Only, and I can not get the funds out.

Both 141rWhPaeSpTqn2YH1fw2WFnwhojQTERyp (External) and 1LsLpbPNS2w98WnKbQ2MmubkQBWhxbPvrz (Internal) were found by me in the tool: https://iancoleman.github.io/bip39/ with the seed provided by my wallet, but not 1KfTVrLG376B7SYb1bA6NnY7KyK825T72B.

From my understanding address 1KfTVrLG376B7SYb1bA6NnY7KyK825T72B isn't from your  HD wallet in blockchain.info right? If yes then it won't show up no matter how many times you try as imported addresses are not included in your seed.

The question is, where is the PK of the 1KfTVrLG376B7SYb1bA6NnY7KyK825T72B? BKinfo, is showing this like Watch Address.

I've said this in my previous post but Isn't that address the one you're talking about below?:

I keep my BTCs in a cold wallet, which I enter the PK in the option of importing addresses from Blockchain.info, and transfer the desired amount to the exchange, moving the rest to another cold wallet that I create with bitaddress, I've been doing this for a while and I've never had problems.

To track the balance, I always enter the public key in blockchain.info (Watch Address), this time I saw that there was a 'Private Key' field on the screen below the Watch Address, allowing me to move my bitcoins right there, without having to import them.

I entered the private key in the field below the public key of Watch Address, put the exchange address and the amount that I want to send, imagining that the change of the partil spend, should go to the main wallet.

PK field

There is a process that you will have to do in order to claim your BCH. If you're thinking that it will just pop-up in your wallet, It's not

Since you're using electrum it will be much easier compared to others. Just install a BCH wallet called electron cash and open your electrum wallet file using it.

If you don't know where your wallet file/s resides. This guide should help you: http://docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located

3074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: NEED HELP!! Disappearing Transaction Hash on: December 20, 2017, 05:13:21 PM
It must be because your transaction isn't properly propagated. So I've rebroadcasted it at the following sites here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1938621.0
And it's now viewable in blockchain.info. But please note that rebroadcasting transaction doesn't mean you'll accelerating it, What it does is just reminding your transaction to the miners to avoid getting dropped. It's useful if your transaction has been stucked for hours or days even though it has a decent/high fee, However in your case there are two reasons why it won't work: (It also applies on why it's been unconfirmed for hours)

1). The transaction has an unconfirmed parent, it means the parent has to be confirmed before it does.
2). Both of them has a low included fee. According from: https://bitcoinfees.earn.com, The recommended fee currently is 770 sat per byte and it will probably increase. Meanwhile your transactions have 100+ and 200+ sat/byte

Unconfirmed parent: https://blockchain.info/tx/4b97080cd1a6dcfeb4cefb76d63e742ad55c6b6d04159ac78744de2e01fcd91c

Have you contacted hitBTC's support regarding this? Although I've been hearing that they don't respond.

So I'm looking to purchase something from bitify but haven't used their service before. Has anyone used their service and can vouch for it?

I understand that they use some sort of escrow service but don't know how fool proof it is and how it works.

the website looks to be designed well but I'm a little skeptical.

I haven't used their service but I've seen enough reviews to tell that they're legit, not to mention they've been here in the community for years.
A great example would be this: https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-we-ordered-from-bitify-a-peer-to-peer-bitcoin-marketplace and as you can see it's posted by a renowed crypto site.

But please be advised that you are not dealing with bitify itself as they only provide a platform and an escrow service. In the end it is a peer to peer marketplace so make sure that the user you're dealing with is trusted. They have this guide which can greatly help you: https://bitify.com/too-good-to-be-true

3076  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are there any legit transaction accelerators that work? on: December 19, 2017, 11:46:30 PM
It's either you're too fast or you're not fast enough. There's probably thousands of users trying to get one of the 100 slots in viabtc so you should have submitted your transaction at exactly XX:00:00 or XX:00:01 (slim chance). I mentioned I usually hit the submit button at XX:59:59 because in my case I have to switch to another tab and eventually click the submit button which should just take 1-2 seconds (The captcha should be filled beforehand)

Another tip would be, The timer tab and the viabtc tab should be side by side.

Yeah too bad for me, like yesterday I got nothing but again failure but still I'll just going to keep on trying again since I'm now familiar with the time reset and that's for that Potato.

On a second note it seems after trying it myself a few hours ago, I still got the "submissions are beyond later....". After doing some research, there are a few threads  where users have stated that viabtc won't work for them even though they had tried different schemes.

Anyway, I'm also doing the trial and error thing and it seems that you have a stuck transaction there. If you want I can use your TXID for that, just post it here.
It doesn't guarantee anything but it should increase your chances.

You need to wait the reset of viabtc's accelerator, there's a time threshold on when it's available. I can't recall the time but it has to be working with that time, I'm lucky to sent successfully my submission to accelerate my transaction and it was confirmed afterwards. This thread made by Zepher is helpful FREE BTC Tx Accelerators. Stop paying for something that is free!.

b58f6cc67d9fe1122f75c38c3c818b9b76f3a8ea1afa4f0f866d6335f8b0fa56.
These days miners are prioritizing those transactions that paid higher fee but still good luck on your transaction.
No. this transaction cant really be pushed by viabtc because it do have a very low fee which the accelerator would only recognize 100sat/byte above fee transactions. I have tried to use this and trying to input but gives me the error.I don't see any other free accelrators besides on viabtc because most of them would really need to be paid up for a certain transaction to be pushed.

Are you talking about viabtc? Because the required minimum included fee in viabtc is only 10 sat/byte. His transaction was 19 sat/byte so it passed and as mentioned he queued it in their mempool and was confirmed afterwards. You can check it in any block explorers by clicking the block number/height and you'll see that it was relayed by them.
3077  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Luno: I'm not satisfied with Luno these days. on: December 19, 2017, 09:40:34 PM
As I said in my previous posts, This is most likely due to the high traffic they're receiving although actually, almost all bitcoin-involved services are affected. The supported coins which are BTC and ETH is both congested until now.

According to their twitter account, They are aware of the problem so contacting support is probably useless as the odds are you will get the same answer.

Please note we are aware of issues related to price volatility, network congestion (and high transaction fees), ETH Instant Buy/Sell, bank delays in Nigeria, and verification delays. We are working on these issues, where we can. 🔧
Follow the progress at: http://luno.statuspage.io

It seems like the problem still persists until now.

3078  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: I have some error. Please tell what to do on: December 19, 2017, 09:27:20 PM
I still I haven't send the funds because the fees are awful these days.
I'm sure it works now,but the fees are extremely high.
What can be done with the fees? is there any other way?

The network is currently congested (200K+ unconfirmed transactions, currently) due to a high demand because of bitcoin's current price so the best option would be to wait until it stabilized. It will most likely happen when a price correction occurs (Huge Price Crash)

On the other hand, you can use transaction accelerators like viabtc but it's not advised to use it now as they are cuurently experiencing some problems probably due to high demand.

Also I have one more question: How to generate a new wallet using electrum and transfer the funds there ?

how much can i trade without verification on poloniex?
how are the fees?

Unless your account was created before they changed their policies (long ago) it's impossible to trade without passing the verification process.
I have a legacy account there (unverified) which I created several months ago and it's limit is $2000.

There's no deposit fee's from what I know but some coins has a minimum deposit. Withdrawal fees in bitcoin would be 10K sats.
As for trading fees, You can refer to this: https://poloniex.com/fees
3080  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to buy miners ???... on: December 19, 2017, 06:06:01 PM

Yes I just saw it and there was a huge uproar because of this price increase considering that the mining difficulty will also continue to increase.

From what I see, The antminer s9 receives a very huge demand from the community so most probably bitmain is taking advantage of it since despite what the others says on various social media platforms people will still buy it and all the slots for each batch will still be taken in just a short amount of time.
