321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I doing the right thing on: July 09, 2022, 04:47:07 PM
As a newbie it is advisable to invest in less risky coins and btc and eth are not just the top coins, they are the most trusted which means you can invest on either of the two and rst easy unlike alts that are very risky and being a newbie you are fully prepared to take such risk, you have to have the right knowledge, understanding, patience and most of all know your risk tolerance. Alts investment is high risk and you should know the level of risk you are prepared to take.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "BSV and Monero are the way, and Craig Wright is Satoshi" on: July 08, 2022, 08:28:08 PM
He works for a crypto marketing company and he thinks Craig Wright is the actual satoshi! I don't think there is anything anyone can do for him of after such exposure he still can see beyond his nose thats too bad. He is entitled to his opinion which are unfortunately wrong and judging your post he seem like someone who would be hard to convince.
Although am yet to understand his response for this opinion of CW being satoshi. What has he done in his eyes to qualify him for such a huge position  Huh
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Go and get your coin!!!! on: July 07, 2022, 07:10:47 PM
Don't worry if they are not motivated now that price is damn cheap they will be motivated when the price start to surge high and the latter is always the case with many investors. Watch and see Grin
Meanwhile those smart and long term goal investors need no motivational speech to do the needful. "Be daring when others are fearful" Lips sealed
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 07, 2022, 07:03:22 PM
It is very clear our dear op is new in the game, he must not be used to seeing the market dropping this much and at the same time having to read those bad news.
@op don't panic about btc price and get yourself worked up over some news, one thing has nothing to do with the other, it so happens those companies decide to go under the same time the bear market is happening. Btc after every bear market always comes out strong, you can refer to past history for your piece of mind.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Roller coasters!!! on: July 06, 2022, 03:45:37 PM
I am not sure if this makes sense, but whales are nothing in real but made up words by the trading community. Hence dont tag every movement to a "whale" but traders in general and in unison the market psychology.

While it is true that the market is showing movements I would not say "roller coaster" as the term for it. Prices seem to oscillate between the 19k to 20k USD marks. This is the sign of a impending bull trend or a bear trend to start as soon as the support or resistance level falls.

Not specific to a coin, but in general there is money to be made, but probably not at this point. This is rather a point to wait and watch.

What do you call someone who hold a large amount of  coins enough to influence the price negatively?
I don't think whale in crypto is a made up word, there are people who have the funds to buy enough of whatever coins they chose and their actions can directly influence the market.
Although you are right about not to tag every market movement to whales, it could any other reason. It could be as a result of the economic instability the whole world is currently facing. I don't think there is a known reason out there that causes the bear season.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Things are easy to understood now on: July 06, 2022, 04:14:18 AM
and the whole story began when every country started giving away stimulus packages and to full fill everyone’s need they required to print more money than ever before. However they forgot one thing, peeps were loosing their jobs, companies were not doing well, supply chain stopped so as to inward of money and taxes thereafter. Central banks required to print even more money but it was above the income of government through taxes and businesses. So it was but obvious to have higher costs and in short followed inflation.

If they didn't print new money to support the stimulus package idea where wouod they have gotten the money to address that situation as it raises! The money has to come somehow. The real issue now is making supply meet up with demand. Since the pandemic the economy is struggling and supply chain is behind. Printing more money into the system won't solve the inflation problem except those monies are directed to improve the supply chain radically.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: July 05, 2022, 08:56:35 PM
Only if you are willing to be patience, bnb can be as high as $1000 or more in a long term. It is a coin with great utility so you can only expect it will have a high price value long term.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SOLANA PRICE ANALYSIS: IS SOLANA'S $40 TARGET REALISTIC OR MYTHICAL? on: July 05, 2022, 05:40:38 PM
$40 realistic or mythical? This sounds like what a short term trader would say, if not I don't understand why sol reaching $40 would be mythical if you know this project and it's previous ath.
Am not a short term trader so my response will solely base on long term goal, and long term I know sol will do way more than what you give it credit for, price wise.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu, Dogecoin Accepted for Payment by Food Delivery Company Uber Eats ! on: July 04, 2022, 07:21:41 PM
If these memecoins can now be used as a payment option, does it change what they initially represent! since are known to be fun coins with no real utility this news has change that for these two coins. Will this really make an impact in these projects and make some investors see them differently, more than just a mememcoin and take them serious?

331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Be a Failure Even If It Hits $100,000, Says "Black Swan" Author !! on: July 03, 2022, 07:44:30 PM

How is BTC a failure when it started with zero and have reached up to $69k during the bullrun and its still going to reach higher in the next cycle. Taleb is just like his fellow Buffet who is an old dog that never learn the new tricks. So out dated they can't manage to understand what his book described as Black Swan. In fact its BTC that is the real Black Swan in this era that is destroying the old Swans.

He must be speaking from someone who bought at 69k experience and not From below otherwise his view on this subject would be clearly different. Btc have managed to keep fighting. The problem is not about not knowing but ready to acknowledge the real fact. They always like to say the negative even when the truth is right in front of them.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce the Global Wealth and Income Inequalities in 2022? on: July 02, 2022, 06:29:20 PM
Through btc! I sincerely doubt that, the gap between the haves and the haves not is very wide, btc even at this current price is expensive to many middle to low income earners, and for you to effectively gain a reasonable profit from btc you have to buy a good amount of it. And by the look of things, not very many people can afford 1BTC let alone several.
Now if you say alts for instance, perhaps the possibility is there, if you are lucky enough to get your hands on some alts that end up going x100 then you are made. Income inequality will no longer be a thing for you.  Wink
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Uganda’s gold discovery: What it could mean for crypto !!! on: July 02, 2022, 06:18:31 PM
I doubt such news can have a direct impact on the price of gold at least not for now. The supply may be unlimited but it seems to be Scarce because of it's value and demand, assuming this news is 100% authentic it won't dip the price of gold since big organizations will just buy them up. Many people still sees gold as the best safe haven because of its very low volatility nature.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong Hands Are Buying on: July 01, 2022, 07:14:15 PM
This is the time to be daring when others I fearful. If whales are busy accumulating regardless of the market condition what stop retailers from accumulating as well! For evey weak hand that is selling, strong hands are scooping them up, that is enough to ponder about. The best way to overcome the stress of bear market is to have a long-term goal in mind.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has reached a point of no return on: July 01, 2022, 07:04:35 PM
What else to say, the article really hit the nail on the head and if we view btc interaction with the world from the onset it will be clear that nothing can touch this technology at this point, btc have gone through it all and still remain standing.
The only regret you can have as a bitcoiner is not able to take advantage of btc dip when you had the opportunity. The time is not very far.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for a crypto that won't depend on BTC anymore on: June 30, 2022, 02:28:00 PM
From what we can see on both cmc and CG there is no such crrypto, well not that i know of. The majority or better yet the whole crypto react in accordance to btc price movement, when btc price is down especially in a serious bear market like this present one all other alts will follow, no exception. But if there is such crrypto out there i think many investors will be interested.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you all think on: June 30, 2022, 02:17:01 PM
It is not usually the case that a low volume will automatically mean the project is bad or going to die. When very few people are aware of a project the trading volume can be low because of the obvious reason. A project with a good utility but has a low volume especially with this current market situation can perform even more better once the market has recovered, i won't make any hasty decision yet if the team are active with the project, besides some volume are artificial, let the project grow organically.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 28, 2022, 06:44:39 PM
If as an investor you can't see the benefits of periods like this except only the negative then you are better off investing on something more stable like gold or real estate. Otherwise what is the point of trying so hard to convince people to dca in bear season if they don't believe a bull season will come around again. Anybody who don't feel comfortable buying now can probably wait till next bull market to buy. Undecided
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with daily usability on: June 28, 2022, 06:31:48 PM
Btc is the most accepted coin in most online/offline stores. Other altcoins can be eth, xrp, trx, bnb (not so sure) depending on the store or business. I think for every business out there that accept crypto as alternative payment option btc is always included, whatever other popular altcoins they decide to included btc is always available.
In a nutshell, btc is the only coin I believe that has the highest day to day usability because of the high number of acceptance, btc may be considered as store of value by the majority but it still remains the most widely used.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweatcoins will be launching this summer...Is it worth it? on: June 27, 2022, 06:58:12 PM
After seeing the successful launch of stepN (GMT) I think we are going to be seeing more of similar move to earn project in the market. There is also a new one called Menzy - an "AI move2earn full body project" incubated by poolz project, they just had there IGO on seedify and other launchpad. I think the project has a very high standard.
Let's hope this Sweatcoin such high quality and will be more smart and use the right platform to market their project and conduct fundraising events too.
