321  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blackjack.fun on: February 13, 2024, 08:50:19 AM

Ser, pardon me for saying this, but please read what I said. I never suggested for him/her or anyone that it's OK to play in an online casino with chat support that's "hard to reach". I merely suggested a solution that might get him to an admin, or a moderator, that could help him/her connect more quickly with a chat support representative.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Blackjack.fun used to have a very good reputation here I used to be part of their campaign for so many months and now they closed their thread here and there's no representative here anymore but they have build their name here on the many months when they are active here, many people are still playing here, and are not aware that they do not have a representative here.

So I support that we still have an independent thread here so in case there's an issue those players can find this thread and drop their issue or whatever that has something to do with the platform and all help them.
This is a reference thread for Blackjack.fun for now, until they decide to open a new thread or open their locked thread.

Has there already been accusations/cases started against BlackJack.Fun, saying that they refuse to send withdrawals to their users' wallets? That would not be good for their reputation, and that especially becomes worse if they're true.

I was a part of their campaign too for many months, and they built a very good community for their service. BUT because of their generosity, there were nefarious individuals who took advantage of them. "Diggy's Hole" was absolutely abused, probably sometimes without lotion. Hahaha.
Yeah, remember that there were a campaign by this casinos and it did run for several months under a manager and they seems to build up a good reputation already. But we know that sooner or later someone will have an idea to try and break this casino and take advantage of it. Probably they are too generous, and perhaps they just wanted to show the community that they are for real. So most likely, they feel betray or frustrated that after giving everything to the community, someone still find it not enough and did take advantage of it and so they lock their thread already. Maybe there will still few gamblers who play on them, but just chose to keep quiet.

In case we all forgot they had a face-off and a thrash talk inside the ring 3 years ago here is the video

Ryan Garcia & Devin Haney Face-Off, Exchange Words Ahead of Potential Fight
And this is the latest confrontation mate,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J_UeSSemN94

Just after the super-bowl. So it's on, the fight definitely has some narrative already. There is a storyboard and they don't like each other. Excited to see what will happen in the press conference to announce the official fight. And then in the weigh-in, wherein both fighters would have their fans present as well. So it's good that they have create more hype more than ever. Yeah, I'm buying the PPV and going to bet on this fight definitely.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware all Crypto Owners. Privatekey of Bitcoins & Altcoins Are Compromised. on: February 10, 2024, 01:15:56 AM
And so we don't need Quantum Computers to break every existing private keys moving forward as they are now all compromised by this one website + Bitcoin address? I think the OP shows that he doesn't know how Bitcoin works and how it is hard to crack private keys. Anyhow, good luck to him on his journey. He can start to break every Bitcoin address he can find in this community alone and see how many of them can he break or crack and get those precious Bitcoin. Alamy website? I haven't heard of it and I'm not interested to know as it has nothing to do with crypto at all.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: February 09, 2024, 08:29:35 AM
@Baofeng. I very much agree on the no boycott. Mucn of the world might have also forgotten about the war on Ukraine vs. Russia or much of the people have stopped caring. We are very distracted by all these new information being shown to us constantly by the internet.
Yes, I do agree, the war has been forgotten already and the world is back to normal already and so sports shouldn't be affected by what the geo-political events that is going on beyond and behind.

Mauricio Sulaiman also appears to have caring because he is allowing Beterbiev to fight a Russian national hehehehe. Sulaiman had very strong objections against Russia's war and Putin before hehe. Also, on which side is Saudi Arabia? I reckon they denounced Russia's actions against Ukraine. Everyone knows I like conspiracy theories, you know what I am implying with this hehehehee.
I guess it's all about the money, and if it is good for WBC and the Sulaimans, the fight will go and continue regardless of who they support or what is their political believes are. Saudi doesn't care as well, it's sports for them, they have the luxury, rich oil money flowing to boxing and who wouldn't want it? All of them are into it, Arum, Hearn, Sulaiman and every entities in boxing and they will say yes to Saudi Arabia right now as what fight they want to see.

It has always been about money and also maybe making an agreeable decision. When the war in Ukraine was only beginning, making the decision of letting Russian athletes compete was very unpopular. Many people wanted a boycott and this forced sports organizations to ban them. I reckon the only big sports organization that allowed Russian athletes to continue was the UFC under uncle Dana's instructions.
Yes, when money talks everyone listen, even those who have their political beliefs, at some point they have to trade it as boxing organization and boxing in general is business. Specially win the entry of Saudi Arabia right now, no one can deny the fact that they are giving this promoter big money to have fight in their country. So step aside their political beliefs like the WBC and the Sulaimans. Good for Dana and now it make sense as we are back in the normal and Russian players are now allowed in every sports and hopefully the next time, sports is not going to be affected.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: February 09, 2024, 06:53:15 AM
For those who wants to view this fight live, see the link below if this will work in your area as it is fine and working in our place.

https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=search&v=1429606197984101

Thanks bro, great timing. the 2nd round has just finished and thus far they are still adjusting. This Jamaine Ortiz is quite slick, he moved a lot and doesn't go toe to toe battle with Lopez, so there's a huge chance that we might not see a KO here, rather the fight will end via decision.

Edit : people seemed not enjoying the action as Ortiz  became like Mayweather, he is so defensive here.

I hope Lopez won't get too frustrated... Grin

You're welcome bro.

Lopez did win the fight with not much engagement as Ortiz was disciplined enough to stick to their game plan. Though i agree with the judges to give the fight to Lopez but he should have done more on cutting the gap between them, you just could not stand there and expect your opponent to come and hit you, this is boxing, hit and don't get hit lol.

117-111, 115-113 (2X), were the scores of the judges for Lopez.
Yes, no fanfare in this fight, Ortiz becoming a south paw but it was not that effective against Teo. Lopez is the quicker of the two and I will say that it has power behind those peek-a-boo style of him. And it might have that Ortiz felt the power that's why he just try to run circles and then throw couple of punch and then hug that's why the fans didn't like what they see in the fight. But it is still a win for Lopez here, I haven't seen the post fight interview, but maybe a reunification fight with other champion. He also say that Matias is the easiest fight for him for all those champions, so we will see.

@FinneysTrueVision - Do you agree that Matias is the weakest of the champion in that division?

That is according to Teo, actually he said all Puerto Rican fighters are easy fights.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 09, 2024, 06:29:53 AM
And so the Milwaukee Bucks beef up their defense with the acquisition of Pat Beverley.  Bev though is going great with the Sixers and he had games wherein he did played very well. The Sixers will received Cameron Payne and 2027 second-round pick. So I guess the Sixers win in this trade, Payne a solid role player as the Sixers also get Buddy Hield from the Pacers in exchange of Furkan Korkmaz, Marcus Morris and three future second-round picks. And others have reported a lot of trades too beating the deadline. And when we thought that it's going to be quiet, teams started to move pieces at the last minute. There was also rumors that Warriors wanted Caruso in exchange of Kuminga, but the Bulls are asking too much as per report.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 08, 2024, 10:35:01 AM
No one is talking about how well the Pistons played against the Sacramento Kings tonight. Detroit Pistons better when Cade Cunningham isn't playing. Check how many times Cade Cunningham has not played this season and how many times the Pistons have won without him playing.
Also Jaden Ivey had an amazing game scoring a career high of 37 points with 19 of those in the fourth quarter. The Kings didn't play good defense and missed many chances.
Yeah, but it was a big upset by the Pistons, I guess another game that is very unpredictable and I do hope that you didn't include it in your parlay bet? As lately I have been seen you betting on multi-leg and sometimes as single game could have destroyed it for you. Anyhow, just bad night for the Kings, just like Curry just scoring 9 points against the Sixers, but they still win. Kings though is not known for their defense, they are more of a run and gun team and very quick on transition because of Fox and Sabonis can also run for a big guy. Ivey lead the Pistons with a huge 3 point performance, and there are other players too, who help the Pistons get this huge win in their own homecourt. And for sure fans are frustrated seeing your team losing to Pistons.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teofimo Lopez Vs. Jamaine Ortiz WBO Welterweight Title February 8 on: February 08, 2024, 08:01:21 AM
Here's the press con yesterday.  It felt like Teo was not in his right mind anymore  I couldn't find a proper emoji to insert to describe him  Roll Eyes

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWn58IwLtQs

All the time, he was pretending to be reading that Bruce Lee book that he tried to apply to himself. It felt like this was a loss anymore. I'm having doubts Teo will win this fight. It's like listening to someone with deep thoughts I think he said he already has climbed the top and come back down again so he understands it all. He lives in his small book.

Correct, not sure what's going in the mind of Teo and the way he talks, looks like he is high and talk something about his idol Bruce Lee and then previous Puerto Rican great boxers and then Jesus? WTF? And then have some words on Keyshawn Davis beside him.

So not sure what to get out of this press conference in my opinion, no animosity to bring fight to this fight or something that fans can be excited for his defense of his belt.
It was different though in the weigh-in, Teo trying to punk Ortiz, but it's not working. But it good to hear that they have the same weight, or at least no one goes about the 140 lbs and make this fight difficult for both sides.

The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WZu2OG8Kopw

Just a good laugh as someone telling Teo to read his book,  Grin
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 08, 2024, 07:17:27 AM
Philly is really missing Embiid. The way the Warriors have been playing I was afraid to put any money behind them. Interestingly enough Andrew Wiggins led the team in scoring tonight. That seems unusual.

The Pelicans are starting to blowout the Clippers right now. Not good for me since I picked the Clippers to win.

If Embiid can't return for the season, it might very safe to say their season is pretty much over, Tyrese Maxey sure as hell can't carry this team by himself. And as for the Warriors a good vintage Andrew Wiggins surely is one of the recipe they need for stretch to get it right and at least try to make a good run for the season!
Maxey has some good games and leading the 76ers without Joel Embiid. But I think it will be not enough for top teams as they can easily lock him up and it will make it difficult to look for another options. There is Harris, but then again, same case with Maxey, he is guardable and any good perimeter defender can stop him. So yeah, if Joel will not be back after the All Star Break, it might be over for the 76ers this season.

Clippers are clawing their way back gradually here in the 2nd Quarter, the lead has been cut to a single digit 8 points lead, with less than a minute for the 1st half. Clippers still have their finger prints on this and it is still pretty much within reach. However, an healthy New Orleans Pelicans roster will be a force to reckon with come the post season!
Tired legs for the Clippers, low scoring game that really favored the Pels. No one even scored 20+ for the Clippers, while the Pelicans had Zion and CJ 46 points between them and add Ingram to the equation and some role players, Pelicans winning by 10+ points.
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: 100 Push-Ups A Day Until Bitcoin Is $100K Challenge on: February 08, 2024, 06:51:27 AM
I also did try this challenge many years ago, and I'm fitness on and off in the last 2 years. But I was surprised to see this again. I guess some crypto influencer made this challenge to the public. Currently, I start another journey, going to the gym at my age this year as this is one of my goal for this year. Did do it 1 month straight, but it seems my body is hurting right now so I have to take 1 week break as I also not feeling well because of the weather. In any case, I can't insert it in my regimen, I'm more on strength type of training, lifting heavy, 3 sets of 5 heavies, sometimes singles and doubles on deadlift. But I will encourage everyone to try this challenge, obviously, it's going to hurt on your chest or your triceps as this is a body weight exercise. But just watch Youtube clips who have done this before and maybe you can draw inspiration from them.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 07, 2024, 08:43:49 PM
Perhaps there are a lot countries who practices cashless society specially in some part of Europe. But if might be a difficult road for bitcoin to be part of it, for one there are so many factors like volatility, transaction fees. Of course there is LN, but it might take time as well to grow and be adopted. So for me, it remain uncertain, I would like to see Bitcoin being recognized around the world, but there are a lot challenges that we need to face in order for it to even grow first and be adopted before we talk about it competing against Visa or Mastercard, in my opinion. And government will not allow fiat or the banking system to be obsolete, so that is another parameter that we have to look at as well.
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin now? on: February 07, 2024, 08:22:12 PM
Buying bitcoin is easy the difficult thing is to predict the price according to what we want to buy so one of the best ways to buy bitcoin is by DCA you can buy all the time when the price is going down or up but for me this strategy is still quite efficient many people use it.
If you are going long term, then everything will be easy, I mean just buy as much as you can, whether DCA or any strategy that fits you. Of course, DCA is the best strategy, but there could be someone who are just buying in bulk every time there is a dip and I think it's also good.

Never wait for the uncertain because we never know when bitcoin will go down, right? Better buy now before you miss the train where the price of bitcoin will go higher.
Now many say we are going to a bullish moment because the price will soon arrive so indirectly the price of bitcoin will begin to recover.
True, and if we look at Bitcoin's past history, you can see that there is no right or wrong time to buy, sooner or later you will make profits. It's just base on our mentality and our toughness on how long can we hold before selling. That is the most important part in my opinion, saving is easy, HODLing on it is another thing. Overcoming the temptation to sell assets requires discipline, patience, and a long-term perspective specially in Bitcoin market. But if we master HODLing attitude and resist the urge to sell based on short-term fluctuations or emotional reactions, but it's going to be worth when you sell them at the bull run and get X amount of profits.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: February 07, 2024, 08:03:30 PM
I don't know why this kind of influencer exist and why people still believe them. It's not about just believing, they straight up worship them. Gambling is all about luck and you cannot change anything about it no matter how much you try. This is not about skills that you can improve over time or you can copy someone else's advice to create the same outcome. Possibilities and probabilities are the major factor in gambling.
It's because this is the generation that everyone can become a star, or what we call influencers. Youtube, IG and other social media produces the worst and best influencer out of every genre that we have in our society. And that's why they are called influencers, they become niche expertise, in our case, in the gambling industry. And then they become or we allow them to establish themselves as experts or authorities. But if you look closely, it could also be you or me, if we allow ourselves to go out and put our gambling "exploits" as well. However, it's not for everyone, and I do agree that we shouldn't base our gambling to this kind of people and like straight up worship them. And we don't know if what they show to us are real as obviously, they are paid by this casinos and perhaps the game could be adjusted to them to give those who follow them a feeling that they can also duplicate that kind of winnings.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 07, 2024, 07:13:25 AM
^^ Chemistry is slowly building up with the Suns big 3, and it's scary to see that each of them can score almost 30 points each in every game. Teams might have one good perimeter defender, but in this case, the Bucks have good one like Crowder or Portis or even Pat Connaughton, but it was not enough as Beal just bully himself against Payne and giving us the too small gesture. The Bucks played without star guard Damian Lillard though, who missed the game with a sprained ankle, and starting center Brook Lopez, was out for personal reasons. And for those who are asking, Milwaukee fell to 1-4 since hiring coach Doc Rivers so you can just make your own conclusion if that is a good move to hire him or not.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Pacquiao vs. Buakaw - April 20 on: February 07, 2024, 05:39:42 AM
Although I'm still looking forward to this exhibition match, I am not as excited when it comes to betting on this. I'm not even sure if odds will be released by the top crypto betting sites. I highly doubt it. I tried looking for betting odds elsewhere and I'm not very lucky either. I guess this will just be a fight to watch and not to bet on.

As regards the fight, I think Pacquiao is at an advantage primarily because this is a boxing match. Buakaw can box, too, but it's just not his sport. Well, this is pure entertainment anyway.

Yeah, same with Pacman's exhibition match with DK Yoo where sports bookies didn't bother to cover and release some odds for betting.

Same here also, not excited anymore hearing Pacman's name on the news that he will fight as his glory days in boxing is over.

I don't know why Manny is still doing this kind of stuff, he has the money to enjoy life without engaging himself into this kind of circus.
I have to agree, but if I can speculate, we could all agree that maybe,

a. Manny Pacquiao has lost money when he bid for the Presidency in his native country,
b. He is not doing good, business is losing money
c. He still love the sport and so after he retired, he still want to continue in his capacity to be involved even in exhibition matches
d. He can't refuse the good offer by whoever promoter who set up this fight

So there's a lot of pros/cons on Manny taking exhibition fights, but his only person that can answer it. We as fans can only speculate what's the reason behind.
336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AI-generated fake IDs claimed to pass crypto exchange KYC are selling for $15 on: February 06, 2024, 09:01:33 PM
So it's up to this exchanges, and to be fair, they hire 3rd party to handle their KYC. so the burden is now on this entities to level up or be on the lookup for this fake AI-generated ID's now as this is the new thing for criminals. They can really used it to register, pass and then use those exchange for whatever purpose it could serve them. And when we think that we have captured them because they used this CEX, then the authorities might be in for a surprises as the document is fake but it goes through this exchanges without noticing it. So in the long run it could really hurt this exchanges. So they better hurry up and make new softwares to detect this fake documents immediately.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $35K or $45K next? on: February 06, 2024, 08:42:34 PM
Initially I thought that after the ETF drama ended and was approved Bitcoin would easily reach $50k, but in reality Bitcoin struggled to break $50k. I agree with you, maybe $45k looks easy but to reach $50k it seems like bitcoin takes more time.
It is not as expected, Bitcoin price dropped after the approval of Bitcoin ETF. I think there are whales who don't want to see the price of Bitcoin easily pass $50k now. They want to collect more Bitcoin, so they are trying to dump the price. But it may return to the right way again in the next 2 months because we will have Bitcoin halving.

You might want to know how a bitcoin ETF works, it has obviously seen its price drop hugely post-approval. The heavy selling done so far has made it difficult for the price to break through the $50k resistance. That's a really bad consequence for the bitcoin price after the ETF, but there's a lot of good hope in the long term.

If you are a holder, you should ignore short-term volatility and focus on long-term potential. The halving is approaching and holders can expect the price to rise after that, but as I said, ignore the price volatility in the short term and focus on building a portfolio.
Yes, that's the wisdom that we should learn, we should look for long term and not just be emotional every time the price will drop. Now after the 1st week of this new month, we have bounce back to $43k already. And I think we could have at least forgot about the Bitcoin ETF effect for now. What we should look forward is the block halving because we all know that this is the catalyst and not the approvals. So we still have months before that activity, and so again, look for long term, accumulate because we still have time. It's going to be a learning process again to all of us, even experience investors who knows the game might be not satisfied with what they had and so learn and un-learn should be the cycle before and after the halving.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 06, 2024, 12:04:44 PM
What happened to the Lakers? Grin I mean, they've been winning more often lately, and they've even improved their spot in the standings a little bit. The surprising thing is also that LeBron and Davis are becoming more and more active on the court, as well as players like Reaves and Russell. By the way, LeBron recently had a triple-double against the Warriors, and now Davis has a triple-double against the Hornets. Have they finally found their rhythm?

With this kind of games recently, they are holding their position well and not giving up on trying their luck to win playoff games if ever they manage to enter the playoff tournament without worrying about the play-in knockout rounds like last time. But right now, they should prefer their plan to beat the Denver Nuggets because that's when they hit the wall when they are against the Nuggets they don't have enough players to counter their offense and great defense since LBJ is slowing down, they are now in need of more players to survive that round unlike before.
Maybe they found their chemistry already and after a good rest, Lebron and AD is back with full of confidence and so they are back in winning track. Although they just beaten a team that is below in the standing. But a win is a win and so it might have created motivation for them. So let's see if they faces tough team specially from the West like the Nuggets which is like some sort of kryptonite for them. LBJ might be slowing down, but he can still score and lead the Lakers in the court. Austin Reaves and D'Lo seems to be also better right now and I do not see anyone of them being traded.

340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 06, 2024, 03:03:38 AM
This is the highest risk I have ever taken on gamble.  :)Why I called this the highest risk was because if the remaining 2 games lose I will be the loser and not my friend, so that risk was very terrible but I just have to take the risk because I already have in mind that you can not win if you do not risk. But to cut long story short, I win the bet, this was like sharing the money equally with my friend.
So have you ever taken such a risk on gambe before?
And this is the very definition of gambling, you take the risk, you don't know the outcome and it's by far a long shot if I'm not mistaken. But still you do take that jump, that leap of faith so that you can win no matter what the odds are. And I think I has seen others here who also loves that risk taking and more than kind of odds and prevail in the end. Same here, I do sometime take that, unfortunately I was so unlucky and not hitting that huge risk. So the biggest for me in a parlay if my memory serves me right is like 10x only. So congrats with your big win and you and your friend enjoy the winnings. But just remember that not every time you take that big risk, you are going to win though. Everything must be perfect that time for you to win and it might be hard to replicate it again and again. Just imagine though, lately there are a lot of parlays that has been destroyed by just one game lost in the NBA. So can go and see it in the thread as some are complaining how unlucky they are.
