341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Kid already making $32k monthly through ethtereum on: September 04, 2021, 09:40:27 PM
It will give them a better life as Ethereum is here to stay and the same as the other cryptocurrencies and most specially, bitcoin. They have an idea about cryptocurrencies at a young age and they're making money with their parents.
If they are earning money through Ethereum by mining then the migration to POS will end that revenue and i am not sure how much coins they are staking or they will be a super node to get the full advantage because not everyone even with money cannot become a supernode.

We might see them in the near future as one of those crypto/blockchain experts that will contribute more to the society.
There are many kids that grew up watching the technology could come up with something interesting that could change the market altogether and i am hoping these changes in the next ten years.
342  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are athletes also becoming problem gamblers? on: September 03, 2021, 10:49:42 PM
It's not a secret many popular athletes had or still have issues with gambling addiction during their lifetime, which prejudiced their personal lives and careers. Is the mentioned competitive spirit a double edge sword, which helps the athlete to improve his performance, but at same time lead him to an insatiable desire for winnings that may end in a frustrated attempt of beating the casinos?
From what i understand gambling for a match you are involved is not allowed as you will be able to manipulate the game and if you are caught in some sports there is a possibility that they will be getting a lifetime ban. We have seen many revelations about NBA players having addicted to gambling during their playing days but now a days it is easy to track a player with addiction than it was before.
343  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here’s what traders expect now that Bitcoin price rallied back to $50K on: September 03, 2021, 10:26:34 PM
Breaking the $50k resistance again before having a dump was really critical and Bitcoin made it! Otherwise, we might have seen another boring period and the price would have started decreasing drastically. Now, this must be a sign for $55k and $60k levels consecutively. And after that a bull run must come to be able to see $100k at the end of this year in the worst case.
We cannot expect the valuation to break the all time high valuation in a short period of time. Majority are expecting the market to be on the bullish trend till December before the major correction and if we pick up the momentum now what would be the price by the end of December, may be around hundred thousand. Whatever be the situation now, expect a few more minor corrections on the way before we break the all time high valuation.

Am seriously disappointed with the Indian bowlers. The tables completely flipped with several English batsmen who were out of form in recent times performing well. Woakes was an excellent replacement since he is performing with both bat and ball.

I don't see the Indian team scoring 300+ runs unless their out of form batsmen step up and perform well just like the English batsmen.
England counter attacked and full credits to Ollie Pope who was instrumental in building partenerships along with Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali and Chris Woakes who was attacking the Indian bowlers and they were able to get to a comfortable lead and 3 days left in the match and India is still trailing by 56 runs and the openers are still in the crease, how long India is able to bat determines the match.

It was a great win for Sri Lanka. We have seen the dominance of South African batsmen in the entire match. As the first 4 batsmen of South Africa have performed, this match should have been easily won by South Africa. They have failed to perform well and have been defeated. They should be more focused on batting.
South Africa is not known to play spinners that well and still they were able to give a good fight. They have a new team and it is difficult to conquer the spin wickets and even when they had great players they usually struggled in spin wickets. Sri Lanka is back in the winning column against South Africa and i am more interested to see how they perform in T20.
346  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL vs Staking, What is the best strategy? on: September 02, 2021, 11:59:55 PM
Of course staking is more profitable than holding. what I know is that there is no bitcoin staking, staking is usually done by coins to test the system's resilience, the effectiveness of the blockchain network, I follow some staking such as Cardano, ANKR, SERUM and Mina.
Right now if i am investing in good coins especially Bitcoin then all you need to learn is to Hold rather to make a good profit than staking. Majority of the staking pair are ETH USDT and so on. Hardly we see BTC as staking or liquidity pair and i never thought much about that why that is the case when they have ETH but not Bitcoin.

Tamim has already announced that he will not play t20 world cup. It seems to be an angry move as most of the Bangladeshi people have questioned his performance including me back in the day. But this is also true that we can't find anyone playing better than him even although the last series and current series against NZ can't prove anything as the pitch is quite terrible to play. It's favoring bowler all the time.
I thought Tamim Iqbal retired from T20 cricket but rather opted out for selection from the upcoming T20 World Cup and it is true that he was playing in good wicket that are helping the fast bowlers and it is terrible for Asian batsman.

On searching about his situation, i saw an article which claims that the BCB president is applauding his brave move by opting out of the World Cup according to him and i do not think he will change his decision as i really think that the BCB president or anyone from the selectors forced him to make this decision Cheesy.
348  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spain bans betting adds - no celebrities, no sport sponsorship, no daytime adds on: September 02, 2021, 10:53:50 PM
The new law has knocked down strongly all the preferred advertising options for betting business. They cannot, for example, be on a teams shirt nor celebrities from sports are allowed to promote betting houses or platforms. Also, the adds in TV can only be run late at night. Needless to say that is a torpedo on the finances of several teams and may affect their ability to recruit and maintain the right players.
Even now majority of the clubs are finding it hard to sustain especially after the pandemic and the only sector where money is flowing constantly during these last two years is the gambling industry where new users are searching for new platforms to spend their free time and now the government wants to restrict those advertisement revenue is harsh for these clubs.

Patience doesn't work perfectly in test match. Game condition will depend on the pitch and bowlers skill. Both teams has struggled with their batting lineup in day one. England has already lost their three important batsman who played nicely in the previous test. Malan and Craig Overton should make a good partnership tomorrow otherwise England team will struggle to make a good total. Though the betting odds is still in favour of England but I think it's going to be a competitive test match.
If batsman is able to stay on the ground for a long time, he could change the match and for that he needs patience and the modern day players lack that patience and only a few possess that now and they are rare breeds Grin.

Root their most trusted player is gone and they needs to find someone to rescue them and the first one hour determines whether India will be coming out to bat tomorrow or the match length will be longer. I was surprised with the changes in the Indian team as they changed their bowlers as they are the only ones that were performing.
350  Other / Off-topic / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Yordenis Ugas Rematch discussion on: September 02, 2021, 07:35:05 PM
There's a lot of rumor going on that Manny wants to have a rematch in January which I believe is true cause Manny promised to have his last fight at home (Philippines), he also said his heart still fight and watching his fight with Ugas he can still rematch.
If the fight happens in January who does think will win (mind Manny was out of the ring for 2years before he fights Ugas)
I would like to see Manny Pacquiao retiring for good, age is not just a number, you slow down considerably and i do not want to see any major injuries at this stage for Manny and he contributed a lot to boxing and i want him to focus on his new path which is politics and hopefully if he wins then he will be busy with his political career and the best he can do is to promote the youngster from his country.
351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESPN into a betting deal worth 3 billion dollars $$$ on: August 30, 2021, 11:53:09 PM
~
A very positive news perse since ESPN, is now trying to explore more of their options in the betting section now how do you think this might affect the industry??

They are trying to enter the online gambling industry and I do believe that they might try and dominate the market which is already heavily competitive but it might give the users more choice perse.
Finally they are diversifying their resources and entering the gambling marketplace which is a trillion dollar market and since they are broadcasting majority of the sports they can be an instant success if they come out with a decent looking UI because of the reach they can get adverting their product globally during major sporting events and they can be a serious competitor for all the major sports book because of the financial backing they have.

What do you think Huh
I do believe they might get involved with the crypto casinos too soon enough!!
Something to watch out for.
I am not sure ESPN will jump into the cryptocurrency market space from the beginning but expect them to rule the fiat based gambling platforms and they do not need to shell out extra amount for broadcasting the matches live in their platform. It i a really interesting development and will see how they will perform.
352  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Tether crash to $0? on: August 30, 2021, 11:44:34 PM
~
It's manipulative and they can do a maneuver whenever they see the falling of it comes. But it's highly unlikely to see Tether crash to zero.

Many times did people thought of it a few years ago yet it's still there standing and giving the highest volume in trades.
The huge volume of trades can vanish anytime. How many times we have seen coins and projects with huge volumes of trade and exchanges with huge volumes vanish just like that, either due to a major hack or some sort of legal issues. With the legal issues Tether is having and the court cases they are involved you cannot blindly say that it will never happen. We will see how long it can sustain these levels once regulations kicks in globally.
353  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend got arrested in a p2p scam on: August 30, 2021, 11:30:45 PM
That's the real concern during buying or selling Bitcoin peer to peer. Actually, it's not possible to determine bank transactions either it has been coming from any suspicious sources. The only way is a peer-to-peer deal should be done with a trusted person and we should get help from an experienced person.
Can you really trust anyone when doing peer to peer transaction with fiat involved, i highly doubt i will trust anyone like that unless it is a reputed person from this forum who is taking care of his account and has some successful trades. I did use other platforms purchasing cards and other things with cryptocurrency but i never tried to accept bank transfer from any strangers because it will end up creating issues if i am accepting funds from illegal sources.

I know about Binance P2P transactions and i want to know if anyone tried that and do they ask for mandatory KYC for everyone to make these transactions.
354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will $50,000 be the resistant price? on: August 30, 2021, 11:25:50 PM
I think, if we will hear one great news, we will surpass the $50k level very easy. But right now, it is already doing good as we surpassed the 45k and it is keeping afloat more than this range. What we can do while waiting for the rise is think of ways how to improve our portfolio and be ready for the bullish run of bitcoin. If we will just wait, we may not be prepared once the market is going green again.
I do see that in a different aspect, i do not consider $45k as the best time to invest. Everyone had many opportunities to invest in Bitcoin for a long time and if you did not take that opportunity then you need to wait for the market to settle down before making investment decisions. I usually do not invest during a bull run and our bull run started a few months back and i have booked my profit during its run and when we had a minor correction i once again entered the market and now watching the market to make my next move rather than planning to invest now .
355  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on: August 30, 2021, 11:15:26 PM
I am sure all who bet on Jake must have filled their bags. Jake was on fire from the beginning. The fight was really interesting to watch. . Woodly was defending often then hitting where as Jake was just on his toe to keep hitting Woodly. Yes Woodly as well had given few strong hits at his 5 th or 6th round. Seriously it was really amazing. Yes Jake has finally own.
The fight was really close in papers but if you watched the match i thought Jake Paul won the fight even though one of the judge is making it hard by giving the scores to Tyron Woodley but i though Jake Paul won it fair and square but Tyron Woodley had his moments in the fight when he rocked Jake Paul but Jake was fighting smart to earn the decision.
356  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Bull Attempts to Break $50,000 - A Psychological Hurdle as well as The Next on: August 30, 2021, 11:05:15 PM
~
I think that if bitcoin breaks the resistance at 50k and be able to stay there for awhile, 56k is going to be only easy for bitcoin to just pass through because a hard resistance will always be followed by an easy resistance based on my amateur observation.
I am expecting a minor correction and now the end of the month and hence expect option markets to close some contracts and it is possible that is the reason for the minor correction now and once we are able to breach the psychological barrier of $50k which i think will take sometime to breach but once we do then the market will rally and possibly touch another all time high valuation.
357  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The life span of bitcoin is till infinity on: August 30, 2021, 10:52:06 PM
~
because from what i observed from little bitcoin seminar program i hosted in my geographical domain even a nursing mother that is approximately forty to forty eight (40-48) years is interested to invest with bitcoin and children in school is already knows what is bitcoin, so with this length of bitcoin awareness in my society i think BTC can stay till infinity.
You cannot compare Bitcoin during its initial years and in 2021. The market has created a revolution because of the technology behind it and then the price rally create huge waves in the market where everyone started noticing well before the second rally and major news outlets covering the market and anyone investing in financial market will be well aware of the cryptocurrency market and it is a household name even if they are not holding the coin.
358  Economy / Economics / Re: Differences between an investor and common man! on: August 30, 2021, 10:39:02 PM
In my opinion, it's different in that investors have a high risk of getting rich, they use all their brains to think about how to invest and generate profits in the most optimal way. , these are things that normal people don't do.
The risk factor is the same for a common man and big investors, for example if you find an interesting new project and you want to leap into investing in them, then if you are having decent amount of money you negotiate with the project during the seed fund days and you get a major share of the tokens or coins and the risk factor is the same if a common man with his funds investing in a new project. Before investing you do your work to know more about the project and if it is a success the seed investors earns a much bigger profit because the risk percentage he took was much great. It can happen in the opposite direction as well if the project fails to deliver the promise.

On the other hand if you are investing in establish projects or coins then the risk factor is similar for both and if you are well aware of the market then you will have an idea on when to enter and when to exit.
359  Economy / Economics / Re: Pakistan's Economy are going to crisis for Taliban? on: August 30, 2021, 10:16:39 PM
Amid decreasing Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) floes, Pakistan's economy is expected to shrnik further, flowing Afghanistan's current situation.

According to Dawn (Pakistan's official news pepar), the consistent decline in flows into Pakistan in recent years should worry the country's economic managers.
From what i understand Pakistan was instrumental in creating these forces and now they are biting them back  Cheesy. I am not aware of the entire history but i have seen debates when Afghanistan was occupied by Taliban and it was a hot topic globally and that is where i know about the history of Pakistan and the Taliban and now these forces enforces terror in neighboring country how can they expect FDI. You need stability for money to flow and as long as there is no stability investors will not risk their money.
360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Domino's franchise offering salary to employees in bitcoin!! on: August 30, 2021, 09:13:16 PM
The headline looks catchy, offering salary to employees in Bitcoin but what i would like to know is how many employees are taking this offer and accepting Bitcoin as a payment method. I am pretty sure that majority wont be taking their salary in Bitcoin and on top of that it is not a high paying job as far as i know to have a huge bank balance so that they can hold them for the long term  Grin.
