381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taxes on Bitcoins: Unreasonable or essential? on: July 27, 2020, 02:51:47 PM
If we think about it, the main point of this whole industry specially bitcoins, is that it wants to be away from traditional ways or to give freedom to its users from the world we are used to in terms of assets or so if you get what I mean. But if we really want recognition and being allowed by most of the countries, we really have no choice but to agree with taxes no matter how unfair it kay seem since there really is no other way.
382  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC up 42% year to date while Gold did good at 28%. Will it carry on? on: July 27, 2020, 01:59:24 PM
I personally think that comparing bitcoin related numbers with numbers related to gold wouldn't really do much for anyone concerned since they are both like water and oil. It really doesn't make sense. But for the sake of it, I don't think bitcoin will stay as so because clearly in the past years and months we have seen it move a lot unlike gold that almost doesn't make moves. In short, it is less likely volatile compared to btc.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When Bitcoin Must Be Inherited on: July 16, 2020, 01:53:10 PM
Seems pointless at first thought but if you think about it thoroughly, the idea turns put to be quite great. I mean, the issue is real enough for everyone who owns any type of crypto currency. Since no one knows when and how they would die, it would be pretty amazing to have apps that grants family members or specific people chosen by the owner him/herself just in case some accidents happen.

On the other hand though, the owner of the coins can brief their chosen person in advance about crypto currencies and all then be done with it so the owner can be put at ease and not worry where his/her hard earned crypto currencies would end up when he/she dies tomorrow or the day after. The only thing about this though is that it truly is quite risky in many ways.

Or just leave everything to the lawyers and let them do their job. That is, if the owner of the coins has one or can afford one.
384  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will a BTC bull market begin in July? on: July 15, 2020, 02:15:00 PM
That's good and all to dream about but in reality, I do not see a bull run happening in July. Looking at the movement of the price of bitcoin, there really isn't that much volatility which means less chances for the price to shoot up. Well, at least that's what I have noticed in the past. But even so, I am pretty optimistic still with bitcoin. Specially for this coming year end and the first few months next year. Because the bear season has been happening for quite a long time already so I think it's about time for it to go up. And which time is more better than the year end? I have seen the prices move a lot in these times. In July though, I really do not think so. But being optimistic isn't bad. Hope It really does happen.
385  Economy / Speculation / Re: Where will we stand at the end of pandemic? on: July 15, 2020, 01:21:36 PM
Well, it clearly depends on how long this pandemic lasts or when the actual vaccine will be made and distributed all over the world. The way I see it, if this pandemic goes on any longer, I believe that people will be forced to remove investments specially those small time investors. But on the other hand, if this pandemic ends earlier, then we may see a huge pour of investments days or months after because people will be more desperate to find more ways to earn money. Even now, people all over the world are being more open minded in online businesses or any other online jobs and investments. What more when people who used to be well employed suffer? This will definitely force a lot of them to find other ways to earn while trying to find other physical jobs. That is how I think things will turn out one way or another.
386  Economy / Speculation / Re: technical analysis of Bitcoin prices on: July 15, 2020, 12:21:06 PM
Great point. My take on this however is that this process has already been repeating a lot of times. In fact, not only on bitcoins but also on other crypto currency out there in this industry. I really think that there is nothing we can do about it but to get used to this fact. Only the big whales make a difference which is why I think that as small fish, we should just take advantage of situations as much as they take advantage of the new comers in this industry that know less and buy then sell depending on their emotions. As much as I hate the thought of taking advantage of other's flaws, there is just no other way to gain in this industry. Sad truth :/
387  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we going to see another PANIC on: July 15, 2020, 11:42:17 AM
Well, if it happens it happens. Been here quite long and have been seeing almost the same things happen almost every time in bitcoin. Even in other coins this thing happens a lot but not as big as how it happens to bitcoin. I just try to brush it off and sell whenever I feel like it and buy later. The only thing that saves me every time is the profits that I save up every time. Although going all in is quite tempting, I've learned my lesson already several times. So just don't worry too much about it if you haven't invested life savings on bitcoins. Because times like these always come and go. In fact, I am quite optimistic for the price of bitcoins this coming months near year end and the very first months next year because these are the times when bitcoin moves a lot which is quite thrilling.

389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should we invest in a bitcoin exchange? on: July 12, 2020, 03:41:09 PM
You know what op, I really think that that is a really great idea. It has also crossed my mind a couple of times. The only problem for me is the funding. Lol. But seriously though, I really think you should give it a shot yourself. Start off with the famous ones. Also, it would he nice if you can encounter an exchange that is just starting out but has great people behind it. This is quite risky so you should do it a bit later when you are more confident about your skills on investing on exchanges like background checking of the developers, the investors, and so on.. I hope you make the best decisions. Good luck Smiley)
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin soon will become a boring investment? on: July 12, 2020, 11:22:05 AM
I think you mean if the people in this industry? Because if not, then you are completely wrong. Bitcoins aren't even mainstream yet how could it become boring? Even the people who are in this industry for years never said it bluntly as you did. It may be boring sometimes in the bear seasons but that only happens for people who only stack and never trade. And if that isn't enough, ll the bitcoins ns haven't been mined completely yet. So that just means it will take a lot of time before the supply gets fully mined. Seriously, most of the population in this industry alone have a hard time getting even a single bitcoin. I just don't understand why you think Bitcoin will soon become a boring investment.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are happy only when the price goes up? on: July 10, 2020, 06:52:12 PM
Main reason as to why is because their investments go high. Specially those who invested in etherium based tokens or any other coins that are new and emerging. This is mainly because when Bitcoin price goes up their shitcoins or if not, new good coins would get a lot of hype and go up in an  instant. Of course it is only possible if bitcoin continues to go up same as 2016-17.

And yeah, there are also people who invest important funds to them into bitcoins without even testing the waters or taking the effort to learn more about this industry. Hence, they are furious when the price plummets.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin smart contracts are not developed? on: July 10, 2020, 04:48:26 PM
As far as I can understand, even if there are existing smart contracts, they did not work out for a reason. And that maybe because the sole programming of bitcoin just isn't suited for smart contracts to prosper. If the developers really wanted it to work, it would have been better if they did something about it in the past. But today, the process would be painstakingly difficult and long. Plus a bunch of people are using bitcoins already. Not to mention that the entirety of this industry is heavily reliant on bitcoins since when the price of it rises or falls, every other crypto currency follows.

And so, I think that it would be hest that bitcoin never bothers with smart contracts and just focus on improving its efficiency to better itself for the users and for the survival of this industry. We already have etherium anyways. Plus if some people really want to make a currency that can generate smart contracts that give great amounts of privacy, they can create one of their own and see if it thrives.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: The Covid19 Curve is Flattening on: July 03, 2020, 09:14:14 PM
Well, it is a good thing for you if the covid 19 is flattening in your place, but for other countries such as mine, the cases are just going up and down not while not steadily increasing, it isn't steadily dropping down either. And this is just too frustrating specially to a country which lacks funds to support the needed equipment both for the front liners and for the general public.

Now, I am pretty sure that this pandemic has already been a big eye opener for the whole world which is why I am pretty positive that when a similar problem/pandemic like this arises in the future, most countries will be well prepared or have allocated budgets and plans for emergencies such as this one. which in turn will result in better management and prevention of overwhelming widespread. That is, if governments of any country at that point won't be too careless and complacent towards such problem.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Possible solution for economic go-slow on: July 03, 2020, 08:24:25 PM
To be honest, this kind of topic is really hard to talk about specially for the ones greatly affected by this pandemic. The only solution I could think of right now for our country is to raise awareness and make people abide strictly to the needed protocols because as long as this pandemic exists, most of the economical movement that can lead us upwards are all halted. If only our government became more serious before this virus reached our country, or even just acted faster and accordingly to the situation and rise of the cases, then a lot of unnecessary problems and deaths would have been avoided and our country would have never reached this point.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: July 03, 2020, 07:20:29 PM
   • Try to cut down your present cost and save a portion.
    • Hold a handsome cash in hand or any savings that can be immediately convert into cash. Even if needed to make encash any long term savings, do
       it.
    • Don't invest in any long term project at this moment.
    • Don't buy any luxurious goods for you or your family.
    • Don't engage in any borrowing. You should try your best to avoid it.
    • If you are salaried, concentrate to your own job seriously so that your organization don't get any scope to release you from the job temporarily or
      permanently.
    • And finally you should find out some of your own policies to face any serious moment.

I'll be saving these in my notes. posts like this one really does help. I hope you also posted the same on some social media apps so that more people would also be able to see these suggestions you have mentioned. The sad thing though, is that most of the people who actually gets to see this would obviously be able to comprehend these suggestions but would most likely ignore these and would rather choose to indulge in the wrong choices they have in mind despite knowing the grave consequences that may occur in the future. And when all things go to crap, most of these people would be pointing their hands to the government when they only have themselves to blame. sigh. people.

-merited.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can never become a currency. Part 2: reward distribution. on: July 03, 2020, 06:42:01 PM
This kind of topic really never gets old. It still pulls my interest no matter how predictable the answer would be or the views of most of the people who indulge in a conversation regarding this topic. What I like about this post though is that it is made easier to understand for dummies like myself. My opinion about this still stays the same as always though; that bitcoin will be very difficult to use as a day to day currency similar to fiat. That's just how I see it. dogecoin is a good candidate though, although I don't know if others would agree.

Edit: I liked the post so I'll be giving a merit. Hope to see the continuations of this topic soon.
397  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money and beat up inflation rate? Options please! on: July 03, 2020, 05:39:50 PM
This is quite a problem you have here sir, indeed everyone wants the best when it comes to their money or assets. The thing is though is that the answer that would fix this problem of yours perfectly is none-existent. The only thing you can do is take into consideration all of the choices you currently have at your disposal and make the most of all the information that you may gather from people here and on google. And yeah, while I may be really enthusiastic about crypto currencies, I wouldn't recommend it since it really is quite hard to ensure profits and value of your investment. I hope you make the best choice for your money. I'm gon merit this since I also got some good ideas from this post or yours.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Without banks, is it possible to move physical currencies to Crypto? on: June 29, 2020, 06:08:23 PM
Talking about physical currencies, which is fiat; the money we use in a day to day basis buying or exchanging for all the needs and wants that we consumers have or whatever you wanna call it, makes you/us already connected to banks since we use the money they release. But going with your logic, it is indeed possible. The only thing is though, is that while possible, the process will truly be painstakingly long. Wether you use the e-wallets that some mentioned or by meeting up with people you may or may barely know which is risky, you cannot exchange huge amounts in one go. You will still have to do it slowly and break the expected amount by bits because if not, you will be found out by the banks or government obviously and we can only expect bad things to happen after being found out by the government or banks that you are converting huge amounts of fiat into crypto. Specially in countries that hate even the thought of crypto currencies. Plus the problem that the prices may have probably changed dozens of times already going up or down by the time you finish converting your planned amount. This is just my point of view
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Venezuelan can now renew their Passport with Bitcoin as payment. on: June 29, 2020, 04:05:44 PM
Ahh.. it's always so refreshing hearing news like this one despite all the bad things happening both in the real world and in this industry. I just wish though that this is truly a lasting and ascending step for this industry and not just something temporary because I have seen good news such as this that either turns out to be fake or doesn't improve or gets terminated in a way. It's just sad. But still though, progress is progress. Wish these kind of news also gets to happen here in my country.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A lot of Americans still don't know what Bitcoin is on: June 29, 2020, 03:09:02 PM
Haha, you shouldn't be surprised man, it is only natural that a lot of people from a lot of countries specially people from the us don't know about crypto currencies. Main reason would be because it isn't mainstream yet which makes it not something that people will most likely talk about or recommend thus the information are limited so as the people who have heard of it. The only thing surprising about this is that the people you are talking about should be very familiar with computers and all. I wonder of they really haven't heard about it or are just acting ng dumb coz they do not like and trust enough crypto currencies. Just saying.
