381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: January 20, 2024, 02:00:55 PM
Bitcoin can create an opportunity to reduce poverty but it can never be a guarantee to eradicate poverty. Bitcoin is just a tool, so if one uses it to its advantage and maximize bitcoin investment, then he will surely see growth and prosperity in his life status. But bitcoin alone, does not mean being rich or wealthy. It’s up to you how you will use it to gain wealth. A lot of bitcoin owners are still not considered rich, because they don’t use bitcoin to double its potentials and gain wealth, but rather use it to satisfy their wants and needs in their life.
382  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 20, 2024, 01:49:44 AM
I also read that Kyle Kuzma as well be on the trading block, and there are multiple teams interested on him.

Maybe Kyle Kuzma for Russell would be a good trade. But this scario look favorable on the Lakers since Kyle Kuzma had developed his game to be the main man of the Wizards, Lakers would be lucky if this would happen.

Lakers doesn't need a true PG actually, Lebron handles the ball, so he is doing the job. They need a good scorer that when Lebron has nowhere to go he can shoot the ball when Lebron pass it on. can't wait for the big news to splash, but for sure D'Lo despite showing good game on recent games will not be in the LA roster after the trade deadline.
383  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 20, 2024, 01:33:30 AM
I suggest you take this matter to Scam Accusations board if you have the necessary proof on your accusation. There reputation in the forum is very positive, so I can say that they are not a scam site. However with your concern, it's a serious accusation and I think we need to hear the side of Rollbit on this matter to clear things up. It could be a multi account policy that was broken, but with your explanation I think you are not attempting to cheat the Rollbit but everything is subjected to their rules once you agree with using their site. So let's see what they can say about this.
384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: January 19, 2024, 11:49:48 PM
Know that once you enter in a forum, there will be a parade of ideas that each one of you will share, but that does not mean that one is better than another.  But sometimes, once your idea is off topic or not relevant to the thread, then the seniors will surely correct your post not to humiliate or offend you, but to correct your mistake so you won’t be continuously believing in a wrong concept. That is actually leading you to the right path, hence you should be grateful that your post is being noticed and corrected, otherwise you will always have to carry a misconception.
385  Economy / Economics / Re: Financial education and why it should be a priority. on: January 19, 2024, 09:59:26 PM
Financial education is at its utmost importance, simply because without proper management of our finances, we will end up messing around and might even be homeless in the future if not properly guided. And I think the schools administration have seen that that’s why they make it sure to touch financial education even at a small scope only. What’s important is that the young minds have been aware on it already that they should do their best not to mismanage their finances once they become mature enough, otherwise they will see theirselves financially broke in the future.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying house rent with bitcoin is it appropriate? on: January 19, 2024, 09:29:13 PM
It depends on the agreement between the renter and the house owner. If the renter also wants to share his bitcoin to its landlord and the latter agrees on it, then it’s certainly a right move for the two. At least, the landlord will also  have the chance to own bitcoin that will be more valuable in the future than fiat. As long as he knows how to keep it safe and seeing it grows, then it’s certainly a right decision to accept bitcoin as a house rental.

On the other hand, paying bitcoin for house rental means you lose the chance to hold a valuable asset. But bitcoin is not just about keeping and hodling it, you need to spend it at least for your own advantage.
387  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 19, 2024, 08:08:51 AM
Big line movement for SMB. From -6.5, currently it's -8. ROS has a decent lineup also, so it's really hard to decide if we would think that SMB will win \

I could not say no to this line movement, it simply tells that SMB is gonna win, maybe on a huge margin. SMB has a lot of players that could defend the ROS import, not sure if whom they'll put to minimize the output of SMB's import who scored 44 points last game. It's a quarter finals game, I expect this game to be a physical game, so I'm also leaning on the under.

Just to be clear, I have SMB -8.
388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: January 19, 2024, 07:07:30 AM
That only shows how desperate Casimero is. Trash talks and showing arrogance is most of the time spice things up between two fighters as well as the fans, but this one for Casimero, he's starting to sound so annoying and desperate. He had his chance but he definitely blew it. Now, he's desperately chasing for the spotlight. However, Casimero's performance looks like it's deteriorating based on his last couple of fights. Comparing the 2 currently, Inoue is way too superior against Casimero.
Even before when he was still a champion he already starting trash-talking Inoue, so there's nothing new here. The only problem of Casimero is his ranking and that reflects the quality of wins he hand in his previous fight, maybe more fights for him to polish his standing and who knows, he might become a mandatory challenger while Inoue has not decided to leave the division yet.
389  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Drop to Zero? on: January 18, 2024, 11:51:06 PM
I am not closing doors that in the long run, bitcoin will still end up with a zero value and might be replaced with a new highly potential coin but it will only happen if there are no active bitcoin buyers by that time that will make its price unable to grow and become stagnant instead. If that happens, the crypto community might have abandoned bitcoin already and just leave its price resorting into zero value.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever regretted selling your bitcoins ? on: January 18, 2024, 09:17:30 PM
What’s the use of regretting when you have all the chances to buy and hold bitcoin again. Although it’s undeniable that there are certain points in our lives that we regret our decisions but regretting does not really help at all. And besides, when I sell bitcoin, there’s always a valid reason for that so I don’t see any reason why I do have to regret.

For newbies, regretting might be a common thing, but certainly not for long term investors and traders in the crypto space. There’s no space for regretting when you consider bitcoin as your jewel.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: January 17, 2024, 09:59:33 PM
The only way to prevent yourself from huge losses is to diversify your investment, which means do not put all your eggs in a single basket. But it also depends on your amount of capital that you can afford to lose. If you only have a small amount, then just prioritize bitcoin more than any altcoins. Bitcoin alone is good enough, and just diversify when you are already having a huge amount of profits. And when you diversify, DYOR first. Do not fall investing into too good to be true altcoin projects, but invest in the right coins that have great potentials to succeed in the long term.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Bitcoin price history is important on: January 17, 2024, 08:59:17 PM
~~~
That's right, you need to know the history of the bitcoin price. I remember its price at $100 and falling and rising to about $25 Smiley But when it started to cost 6,000, everyone realized that Cryptocurrency is not a joke. Nevertheless, I do not recommend looking for recurring periods in the bitcoin price chart. I think that if everyone expects growth, then there will be a fall, and vice versa, because the smart market has one important law - it always surprises all traders. That's why I don't like the massively positive mood before halving BTC.
There is a feeling that the market may fall heavily.
Well, we'll find out soon.
Bitcoin has always been volatile in the first place, which means we don’t have to be too confident in its price as it could suddenly dump any time without expecting it to happen that time. Bitcoin is for long term, but it doesn’t mean that its price will also keep its price growing or dropping for long, it has its own fluctuations so price varies from time to time.
However, if you know the history of bitcoin price, you will never be bothered anymore with how its price moves, because no matter how highly volatile it is, it will always end up recovering even from its deepest fall, that’s how amazing bitcoin is.
393  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: January 17, 2024, 05:53:00 AM
I'm taking the Sixers ML against the Nuggets at this home court, currently the odds is @1.83. I think this is already a very attractive odds for a ML and game between two top teams.
Congrats, good pick. Sixers won the game and covered the spread, ML is the safest though. Smiley
Embiid took over, he just proved to Jokic that he is more deserving to win the season MPV award. But with the numbers he missed, not sure if he is still qualified, but a win is a win, it's a big win as what we witnessed is a possible championship rivals.
Suns vs Kings, another great game, I'll pick the Suns in a close match, -2.5 @1.74.
I thought this game is already over for the Suns. Kings were in control of the game, even in the 4th, but damn Suns, they are in business, they make perfect plays in the 4th and their good 3 point shooting was the key for the comeback win. However, you fall short by .5, you lose your bet.
@Hypnosis00, great handicapping due, 2/3 is not bad all.
394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 17, 2024, 05:08:01 AM
Comeback of the year for the Suns against the Kings I think. This just after the Dame dagger against the Bucks the other night. Durant closed out the win with a couple free throws but it took one hell of a comeback in order to win this one. Good for the Suns. Glad to see Durant had the ball at the end too.
Kings lead I think 23 points in the 4th quarter and yet Suns were still able to comeback. They had some great offense but for this to happen to them twice, I think they have to figure out how to play great defense.
Suns knows they are down big but they didn't stop playing, specially Durant who made some clutch shots and with the help of some role players. Overall, it's fun to watch but it's just a big disappointing seeing the Suns not showing maturity in the game.
395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: January 16, 2024, 11:52:03 AM
It's not the player but more on the coaching capabilities, players are competitive but the way they are being rotate is something that
the team needs to adjust, they need to work hand in hand with these lapses.
Absolutely, this has to be emphasized as it's easy to blame the players while in reality it's the coaching staff that are struggling to make an effective team.
I would like to use some example so fans would believe that it's really happening in the present season.
1- The LA Clippers= When Harden was acquired, their struggle was very evident, but look what they become now, they became a championship team already. I would say they are one of the best in the West now, although not yet at the top 3 as per standing.
2- Utah Jazz = It's the present. We are seeing a healthy Utah team and they had a good run. I know you guys had watched their previous games and just like me you are also amaze. So question, did the Jazz played like this before? No, so there's still a chance for the LA Lakers.
We of course encourage you to use VPN for stable connection 🙂
I like the smile here, I presume it's a go? hehe, whatever I'm thinking.
I'm happy that you'll consider removing some countries that are on the list, yeah it's a huge list and hopefully my country will be excluded so I could try enjoying the casino without worries. Thanks for the reply!
397  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 15, 2024, 01:04:36 PM
That's true, I have seen a guy who used his school fee to gamble, he claimed that he was trying to help his father since his father is so broke that he can't pay for his school fees, funny thing is he use the last amount in his fathers bank account to gamble and lost everything, the home was filled with so many tears that day, I can't forget.
At first I was so mad, I felt like beating him up for putting his father in such position, but later he felt that this guy is full I'm of regrets too, till this day he have grown so much hate for gambling, people don't actually know what gambling is, they instead try to give a try in a stupid way.
His wrong interpretation about gambling made him hate gambling which is bad. If at first he did a quick research and didn't think gambling gives easy money, he would not be in the position that he would gamble the last money. They say gamble what you can afford to lose, this person can't afford to gamble since his family is struggling financially, his action alone was already wrong, regardless of the outcome, because if he had won, there's no guarantee that he will quit and just keep the money, For sure he will be greedy and will try to push his luck.
It's not even about having the bankroll only, your expectation in gambling will finish you if you are not careful, what you have in your head is what will control your ways with gambling, one minute you decide to only use $50 in gambling and another minute you start feeling like a magician and you will increase the bankroll yourself.
This is a different kind of scenario, what OP was referring are for experience gamblers who do and doesn't have a good bankroll, and their respective experience. For me, with a good bankroll, I tend to be more serious.
I was trying to look for the terms to see if there's no country restriction, or if there is, I'm hoping my country is not restricted. I haven't sign up with the casino yet, so if you have the information about it, kindly share it here please. Or @OP or anyone here, please share some information regarding this.
You can go back to the first page, there is someone who quoted the full list of the restricted countries or you can simply go the terms page.
Thanks, mate! I found what I was looking for, LOL.
My country is blocked, so does this mean using a VPN is okay, considering they are VPN-friendly?
Who among you here uses a VPN to play at the casino? Have you experienced any problems or issues?
Ahh, I think I would not dare to go blind on this. The terms and condition do not mention anything about VPN usage. In fact they have straight away written which countries allowed and which are not. In addition to this, they have also clearly mentioned about in which country a specific game provider doesnt allow their games to be played OR some countries where a game provider is allowed but users cant participate in their jackpots. If they have outlined such strict policy then it would be better you check up with their support team. If only they confirm that VPN is allowed from the country where you accessing it, then only proceed with it.
Have you checked the ToS page? Its just 10 minutes read and you must read it. Frankly, I havent seen anything about VPN. So I might just keep it simple and ask things, confirm them from official staff and then make further decisions.
Also, read this….
Quote
It is entirely and solely your responsibility to enquire and ensure that you do not breach laws applicable to you by participating in the games. Depositing real funds and playing for real money is subject to the laws of your country, and it is your sole responsibility to abide by your native regulations.
Thanks for the detailed explanation. Mate, I pretty much aware about the risk, but just for the purpose of testing the site, I would try to use VPN. If my account would be lock and my fund are frozen, then I would understand, at least I know myself I broke the rules, but hopefully they will not call me cheater. lol
It was referring to this reply by LM!
JustCasino is VPN-friendly. However, I have been informed that after reading all these responses, the team decided to make some adjustments.
399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: January 15, 2024, 07:01:17 AM
TNT won tonight, and they are now qualified in the quarter finals.
RHJ their import is leading the team with 35 points with his very high shooting percentage with 17-23. It looks so easy on him, I think he is better than his brother has he had a smooth release and he doesn't force things trying to drive the ball even if the defense is waiting inside.
And Pogoy was back in this game, played 20 minutes and contributed 11 points, not bad. I think this team is ready for the QF, they are on a twice to beat disadvantage but we can never tell. On their first game vs Magnolia, I'm sure I'm betting with the TNT.
FINAL SCORE 116-96 (https://pba.ph/playbyplay)
Interesting to see if how magnolia will prepare for RHJ with his smooth type of a game, he can easily create his shots and have a decent accuracy,  unlike with his brother where it's an anticipated strong attack  to the basket. Though Poguy is back and we know what  he can contribute but giving TNT a chance in a twice to beat advantage I guess magnolia will be in a crucial side, much better to finished the series if they can in game 1 else, they might be eliminated by TNT.
I guess TNT here just need to take it one step at a time, a win in the first game, then do or die in the 2nd game. With their current line up, I think they are good enough to compete with the number 1 team. Import vs Import, TNT has the edge IMO, but as to locals, I think it belonged to Magnolia. So personally, I find this game interesting and I believe it's unpredictable on who will win in the quarter finals.
I'm wondering if Jason Castro could play, TNT need him in situations like this, the experience of being a good play maker is very crucial  for the team. So hopefully he will be available this coming Wednesday.
