381  Economy / Speculation / Re: What make people panic sell? on: August 27, 2021, 01:48:17 PM
Actually, I think that 50% are panic sales and the other 50% need money to fulfill their needs. Many people buy their dream car, home, etc.
Well, OP's asking for the reason why some people panic sells when the market's not in the good run. For me, the only reason that I can think of is that they're new to the market, they expect that the prices are going to be steady and that they're at the right timing in the market.
382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLACKMAIL on: August 27, 2021, 01:14:10 PM
@acroman08 ;
sorry, i wanted to say "report"

You can probably report them to the authorities also, there must be a site that will track this address and hopefully post them for everyone to see and flag as a scam but in the end of all of this stuff that you're going to do, it's futile because the scammer will just change the address that he/she uses and move on.
383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should other countries did not accept Bitcoins? on: August 27, 2021, 12:38:50 PM
What are you talking about? Either I can't read and comprehend English or your mixture of words aren't the best way to convey what you mean or what you want to mean. Hope that I'm right in this one in terms of understanding but I think that what you're saying is still wrong because if they don't accept bitcoin then how about their citizens that use bitcoin, what happens to them then?
384  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will its price start being stabilized? on: August 27, 2021, 11:52:42 AM
I don't think that bitcoin will ever come to that point if you know what I mean, it's volatile and I don't think that it will change at all because it's the nature of bitcoin. For me, it's much better if bitcoin doesn't come to that because that makes things much exciting for trading.
385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tesla going to accept BTC again soon? on: August 27, 2021, 11:20:45 AM
Bitcoin prices have been volatile from the beginning investors get more profit by being volatile tesla began accepting bitcoin in transactions. Tesla suspends transactions in cryptocurrency at the time musk said cryptocurrency mining was more environmentally risky, so he would refrain from using it even if elon musk and tesla cut bitcoin investment rates there will be no impact on crypto and the market will rise based on demand. They are thinking of using bitcoin to improve them.
Didn't they already dropped the suspension for accepting bitcoin as a means to purchase their cars? I think there were articles already that said that mining isn't bad for the environment so I don't get why they still haven't done the right thing and accept bitcoin. This is just my theory but I think that this has some relation with Tesla in China, Elon is the slave of the government there so they might've asked him to abandon bitcoin or something.
386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time to invest in Bitcoin on: August 27, 2021, 10:24:06 AM
Well, in theory, it makes sense to try to buy btc when prices are lower, then sell once they reach their peak. However, this is far more difficult than it sounds. Cryptocurrency also doesnt have proven track record like stocks, so its anyones guess whether bitcoin price will bounce back from its slumps. So hard to say is best moment to buy now or not.
It's not a problem, remember that if you are in it for the long-term then it doesn't matter what's the price right now or even if it's higher than you want it to be because it shouldn't faze you since you aim for the long-term. In conclusion, there's no time like the present to buy some bitcoin.
387  Economy / Economics / Re: Masters in Blockchain and Digital Currency on: August 27, 2021, 08:42:30 AM
You will taking more courses and another degree and I don't think that I will be able to do that myself, I just want to live a simple life when it comes to this kind of things. Plus, it's a niche course that will be difficult to get a job if you don't have many connections.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency: The Future of Finance in a New World Order? on: August 27, 2021, 08:09:09 AM
If they still hold the old opinion that BTC is an unreliable currency, why don't they think that their money has become old and boring, cryptocurrency is the future of finance in the future?.
They don't think that way with fiat and they have that kind of opinion against cryptocurrency because they don't have interest that will benefit if they support cryptocurrency, and they can't control cryptocurrency like they control fiat so why would they relinquish that power.
389  Economy / Economics / Re: The reason to hodl bitcoin on: August 27, 2021, 06:41:55 AM
I think two main reasons are the limited supply and the fast-growing popularity of bitcoin. People think bitcoin will be much more demandable in the future and because of its very limited supply, they won't be able to buy bitcoin in the future so people disagree to sell any of their bitcoin no matter what the price is. They think what they are investing in today could be life-changing for them in the future.
People are right to think that bitcoin's going to be in demand in the future, it's the low supply that makes it expensive and the more popular it becomes as you've stated, more people will want to have some bitcoin. I think it's going to be life changing for them, I am pretty sure of that, bitcoin has did that to many other people so the future not any different.
390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin possibly become the Skynet of human civilization? on: August 26, 2021, 01:38:23 PM
Nope, first and foremost Skynet if I recall was an AI and bitcoin is a financial tool and it's really far from being an AI so I don't think that we're going to see bitcoin becoming what Skynet is. Bitcoin doesn't even have a self learning algorithm when it was made so how will it becme intelligent and self-aware.
391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accepting bitcoin as payment for my business on: August 26, 2021, 01:05:45 PM
Thats good news I hope that one day Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be widely accepted in most stores globally, by the way, here also in my place there's a number of food stores that were accepting crypto but not Bitcoin or Ethereum but it was XRP, and maybe soon they will accept Bitcoin and Ethereum but their argument was settled on the transaction fees. which is a big issue while paying using Bitcoin or Ethereum.
Probably they accept XRP because it's much more stable than most cryptocurrency out there, that's what some of my cryptos go through before I can spend it on fiat but sometimes a P2P could go nust fine for me. So far, I haven't seen any store or business in my area that accepts crypto for payments but this is a good thing because everything starts small.
392  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend got arrested in a p2p scam on: August 26, 2021, 12:24:55 PM
In Biance trading, I will find a fixed merchant to trade. P2P needs a guarantor, generally not bank transfer, but cash transaction. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but I think this problem can be avoided if we use a trusted exchange.
If you read it, you would know that OP's friend doesn't want anything to do with KYC so he goes for P2P. This is a scary experience to be honest, I'm pretty impressed that you're friend's cool about all this thing and the arrest and interrogation, I would've pissed my pants if I was in that position.
393  Economy / Economics / Re: Pakistan's Economy are going to crisis for Taliban? on: August 26, 2021, 11:07:43 AM
Pakistan harbored some terrorists (ehem) in the past, and with this link that they had with terrorist groups, a lot of huge names in the world economy are wary of placing some investments on the country. Add to that the lack of raw materials, manpower, and other resources on the country which further rubs salt to Pakistan’s economic wounds. The Taliban’s rise to power is perhaps one of those things that sealed Pakistan’s economic fate. We would see a continuous decline from here, and it will not be a pretty sight that’s for sure.
Wow, this is actually a really good reason as to why Pakistan's economy is going to tank with the occupation of the Taliban in Afghanistan. Aren't they a nuclear power too? Meaning that they still have a last resort that they can use to their advantage or even probably leverage it to use against neighboring countries to gain some favors in terms of resources.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency and entertainment. on: August 26, 2021, 09:58:55 AM
For me, the biggest news would probably be another country that's internationally prominent in terms of politics, economy and influence is going to fully adopt any kind of crypto and much more bigger if it's bitcoin and do the same thing that El Salvador did, pretty sure there's no other bigger news than that that can influence the cryptocurrency market.
395  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is not limited till buying Bitcoins, it is beyond this. on: August 26, 2021, 09:23:29 AM
If the poor can search for many ways how to earn free rewards from many new projects and he makes a lot of money, that will be life-changing for him and people around him will be curious and ask him how he can do that. But unfortunately, not many people are aware of crypto and the opportunity that they can get from crypto. We can not force them to follow us and we can only spread the news about crypto and let them decide. Only people who think shortly will limit himself and always think that they missed the BTC train. But people who have an open mind will trying to find out and if they can take part, they will try to get involve in BTC.
Easy to say this thing when you're not poor, not everyone has access to computers and the Internet it's difficult for them to find ways to make money. Their daily life is always aimed at survival so they don't have time to find another means to make money.
396  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a possibility of a Country to ban access to Crypto games? on: August 26, 2021, 08:32:47 AM
The platform may be "decentralized" but not the company. They can be taxed and have their business license revoked.
It doesn't even matter because the company doesn't operate in the country and they don't trade securities so they aren't under any laws that is for the securities. It's decentralized so that can only mean that they can't do a thing about it. Also, the government can ban all they want but remember that people will always find a way to access it.
397  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin could destroy economy on: August 26, 2021, 07:50:48 AM
Bitcoin is just a way for their criminals to launder money. There are other ways, just because of the advantages of Bitcoin, many media have hyped up criminals for money laundering. As a result, everyone has a negative impression of Bitcoin.
Every transaction on the Bitcoin chain will be permanently recorded on the public chain. As long as someone checks. Will definitely find out.
Really, how come I am not yet caught by the AML task force in my country since I am using cryptocurrency too? Generalization in regards to bitcoin as a money laundering tool is the most stupid thing there is, are you so out of touch that you didn't know that it's easier to track money laundering when you're using bitcoin? Just an extensive work on tracking the addresses and you will be able to point out who is laundering the money and who benefits from it. Bitcoin can't destroy the economy, in fact it bolsters the economy since there's more people that will have more money meaning that more economic activity.
398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador rolls out 200 Bitcoin ATMs in a bid to speed-up nationwide adoption on: August 26, 2021, 05:41:51 AM
~~~
Maybe first set of Bitcoin ATMs did not have means of verification, with what I know about the recent Bitcoin ATMs, it depends on the amount you are transacting. For example, some will only verify your mobile number if transacting below $2000 (this will depend from ATM to ATM), any amount above $2000 will then require ID card or any other identity verification.
But the amount of transaction fee on Bitcoin ATM is always appropriately 10%, this is too high in my opinion, will El Salvador make it reduced in their country, I mean the transaction fee?
That's alright for me, a little identification in some certain number is acceptable, long as there's no camera behind those ATMs like a regular ATM, what I'm mad about is the 10% fee, that's definitely too high and it's going to be bad for them because no one's going to use them if they allow a P2P there, to me that number is pretty offensive, you don't see that percentage on a normal ATM right?
399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would you consider living on crypto? on: August 25, 2021, 12:54:29 PM
I consider living in crypto if I get paid in crypto when I work and I use crypto buy the basic needs for me to live normally. I think any compromise in the system isn't considered a crypto because what's the point of getting paid in crypto if you're just going to sooner or later convert it to fiat to use it, might as well just get paid in fiat in the first place.
400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin go high the poor will not participate on: August 25, 2021, 12:18:35 PM
They can still participate, there's a reason why you can't buy a bitcoin as a whole, poor people can always buy a fraction of those bitcoin and depending on how early they enter, that small fraction that they've bought will be worth more than their initial capital and even more than they've expected.
