1281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the martingale system sucks! (doubling down on losses) on: May 11, 2021, 11:57:54 AM
Martingale sucks if your odds in the game that you are playing is really low no matter where you put your bet on but if it has a mixed one then it doesn't really suck that bad. I think that it is a shitty strategy but I think that I can't speak for everyone since it works for other people.

It works for others who can keep up doubling their bet up to twenty bets, but if you have a big bankroll you will be tempted to triple your bets, martingale is an unpredictable strategy, if you are going to try it be sure you have a big bankroll and you stick your strategy, you'll get bored but one mistake can wipe out everything.
Yeah, I forgot that you also should have a big bankroll which defeats the purpose of gambling for fun because you are putting a lot of funds. Martingale makes you gamble because you need to make money and not to have fun.

You don't track your expenses in gambling when you become addicted and it is really difficult to follow up with keeping a record of your expenses in gambling in the first place, maybe you can do it for a week but you are probably going to stop it in a weeks time.
i havent went in a state where i gamble too much close to becoming an addict .
i am organized and i can track my gambling expense easily  . what about you .
have you went in an addicted state in gambling because your confident with your reply but that could be true that addicted gamblers dont track their gambling expense because of how frequent they deposit and play and if your an addict gambler you will feel lazy and will only care in playing a gambling .
Good for you that you haven't been in that state and you have a pretty strong will to resist and control when you want to stop but I am accounting for the fact that not every gambling enthusiast aren't the same as you, there are people out there probably that isn't on this forum that are suffering some form of addiction.
1283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: May 11, 2021, 09:34:08 AM
This is why we need to control ourselves whenever we spend on something.
He should start to recover his self from it and learn to manage his money well.
This is too much he is too addicted to it and it would surely destroy his life if he couldn't control it or get away from that addiction.
With addiction, you can't do that since you have a poor control over your urges. Recovery is the only for this person because I don't believe that any other route isn't going to be good. Maybe his loved ones are going to intervene and convince him to do a therapy to cure this addiction.

i dont track how much i gamble but i can estimate all my gambling cost in my head but tracking it in a notebook is needed if you are addicted in gambling because it can stop you if you see that your total is big . the three last advice is helpful too for addicted gambler

1285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 💰 Summer Tokyo 2020 💰 Discussion and bet thread 💰 Summer Game 💰 Postponed 21 on: May 11, 2021, 08:04:12 AM
For many of the athletes from developing nations such as India and Nigeria, the protocol means that they will qualify for the Pfizer vaccine which is otherwise not available in their countries. And ironically, this means that they have a better chance of survival, if they participate in the Olympics. For those athletes from the richer nations, I assume almost all of them are already vaccinated. Now if you ask me whether there are chances of contracting CoVID 19 despite the vaccination, then it is true that there is a small chance. But at this point, it is too small to be taken seriously.
If they had finally synthesized a 100% immunity vaccine then probably immunity is a guarantee. To be honest, I wouldn't really want sports event to happen during a pandemic because I am sure that any gathering is going to be causing an increase in the infection which only makes the work of health workers much more difficult.
1286  Economy / Gambling / Re: There is no consistent money left in online poker cash tables, my analysis. on: May 11, 2021, 07:26:42 AM
What's it to you if that was really the case, I mean it's not like everyone has the money to consistently play poker that will increase the money on the table, not everyone will be playing with a lot of money.
1287  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — Tesla Qualifier #3 is ON 🚘 75 mBTC prize pool 🚀 on: May 11, 2021, 06:45:55 AM

Oh don't misunderstand me at all! I love gambling and I see it as pure entertainment not for profits, which is why it can be quite easy for me to control. I admit I have spent more than I wanted (redeposits and going over limits and chasing losses etc).

Gambling is just a hobby. Never see it as an investment or profit making thing. As soon as you do that, you lose.

Except if you can actually invest in bankroll of course (but still is a gamble end of day).
It's good that you can control your urges to gamble, if it was me, I would probably have a problem doing it since I tend to get a little competitive. Bankroll investing is a good thing in my opinion because at the end of the day, the house wins and you can still make money in the long-term.
1288  Economy / Gambling / Re: everything can happen on bitvest [P2] on: May 11, 2021, 05:52:10 AM
well done, it's always a pleasure see some one that has hit a big jackpot!!! Moreover this is the second time, you have a good level of lucky inside!

Generally speaking pay attention to gambling sbecauseit can be a bad habit for your health and your wallet Wink and it's very hard achieve such huge wins in casino with house edge Smiley

@bitbollo is right, pay attention to your habit because winning in gambling can sometimes make you cocky and do stupid decisions regarding continuing or not. Lucky for you OP that it is your second win and I hope that your wins offset your total losses in gambling.
1289  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cryptolottostore.com - TWO NEW MILLIONAIRES MADE IN ONE DAY! on: May 11, 2021, 05:14:54 AM
Being able to create millionaires is a pretty amazing thing to say you’ve done. 2 in one day is almost unbelievable. They say that getting rich is nice, but providing avenues for others to reach success is god tier. Granted gambling may not have been what people had in mind, but it’s hard to argue with end results. Congrats to the newly minted millionaires.
I hope that they aren't going to spend it into depletion, most people who receive big money real fast tend to spend it in a lackadaisical manner. I hope that these people share their story on this forum since I know that we are going to love success stories.

I went for OG +1.5 @1.42 and OG ML @1.96. I watched most of OG's recent matches and they were pretty damn good. BOL!
I thought you were talking about DOTA for a second there, holy shit. I have seen OG and I think that their performance is outstanding but I still have to favor Astralis in this one, they're a solid team.

Looks like they are preventing the Bumping of this thread for a while because of too much accusation ? they are cooling the situation before bumping their thread again  Grin

But lets not stop from pointing their scammy activities guys, this must be on top always for our Co gamblers safeties.
Please don't bump this thread though, the last replies are enough in my opinion to indicate that they are a scammer. I prefer if we just let this thread fade into obscurity so other users won't be able to see this thing and have to think about visiting the site.
1293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: May 10, 2021, 08:28:19 AM
Everyone has their own choice, we choose what we're comfortable with, and some choose altcoins to gamble. For me, I use both altcoins and bitcoin, depending on the market situation of course, but I believe in the long run I would be more focused on altcoins as it is cheaper and faster in terms of confirmation, and I would be able to just keep my bitcoin for a long term investment and gamble altcoins.
If you want to be able to get some profit while still gambling, I would lean on doing altcoin as a payment for gambling instead of bitcoin because bitcoin isn't really a good cryptocurrency to use when gambling given how exponential it can grow, I think someone is better off hodling bitcoin instead of gambling it.
1294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you store your seed? on: May 10, 2021, 07:06:39 AM
the best way to store seed are storing in any places, like USB, Harddrive, and write on the paper, and at lease write on 2 / 3 papers, and placed on different place, i think it will save, if you usb broke, you still have hardisk, if usb and hardisk broken, you still have a sheet of paper. so i think its the best way to store seed
I do have mine written on a piece of paper and I have it fitted on my wallet that is on my clothing drawer, that leather wallet isn't used outside of my house so it is pretty safe in that place and I don't think that someone who doesn't know a thing about those seed is probably going to throw it away thinking that I am weird for storing a strange paper with gibberish phrases.
1295  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase price difference while buying BTC.. on: May 10, 2021, 06:14:06 AM
I think that buying and selling bitcoin is the same for everyone, in my country some apps that I use have mark up price when buying and lower price when selling, I think that it is what it reallly is. I think what you have OP is a normal thing.
1296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Yahoo Hates BTC: "Forget Bitcoin: Here are The Crypto Assets To Follow" on: May 10, 2021, 05:31:34 AM
I think the writer just use terms that will catch its readers attention.  Honestly the article is a bit shallow, there are lots of altcoin that is more promising than the one mentioned on the article.  If only he did his research well, we would be seeing more altcoin if not another altcoin on his suggestion list.
Don't doubt your claim because that's how they do it in the article industry, they try to make the words more flamboyant and catchy since it generates more clicks, that's why I don't believe these articles because they sometimes stray too far from the truth.
1297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's your bitcoin pizza moment? on: May 10, 2021, 04:54:14 AM
I don't know if this counts but I cashed out my bitcoin when it wasn't around the 10k mark yet and I could've waited for the time that it did pump but I was stupid and find the money equivalent shiny for me, I got blinded by petty amount and I regret it a little bit but right now, I am saving again and hopefully get a big profit.
1298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm now all in BTC. All eggs in one basket! on: May 10, 2021, 04:16:49 AM
since 2013 until now? I think you have had a large amount of BTC to date. It looks like you need to sell a little bit of your bitcoins and go on a tour because I'm sure your bitcoin has made a huge profit
Exactly, if I have that kind of possible amount of bitcoin, I would probably be selling some portion of it so I can enjoy the fruits and labors of my hodling for a long time, 8 years is a pretty long time and I think that OP should be selling some bitcoin but that's just might be me.
1299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My feelings after 11 years with crypto. on: May 08, 2021, 01:23:47 PM
It was your decision at that time, no point regretting real hard with what happened, you have to stand by that words. You and everyone didn't know that bitcoin will be a big thing in a decade so there is no point mulling over your past choices, it made you who you are today. It's not like it's too late to start over.
its true 'don't regret the past, back then I had BTC in 2017, if it was sold at this time how many times it was from the previous price. But I don't regret it's time to start over.
It's good that you did the healthy way of letting bygones be bygones, it wasn't our fault that we sold bitcoin at that time because we believed that it was the biggest point, and we don't know what is in store for the future of bitcoin. The important thing is that you are still on the market making bank.
1300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When you heard about Bitcoin vs. When you first used Bitcoin on: May 08, 2021, 12:37:53 PM
I first heard about bitcoin about 8 years ago (2013) but when i started my journey in cryptocurrencies market then Bitcoin price less the $ 500. But now bitcoin already crossed more than $62k ....
Imagine if you could've get in it when it was still around that prices and you still hodl that bitcoin to this day, I am pretty sure that you could've been a millionaire now. I had my encounter of bitcoin at 2017 and I immediately started it because my classmates have been doing it so I have a proper framework as to what to do.
