1381  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: beginner trader: Are trading signals and bots worth it? on: April 30, 2021, 04:41:15 AM
Bots if they are used correctly can help you trade conveniently because you will not be actively managing your funds since you are using a bot that automatically does the orders and stop loss, it looks easy but you have to know how to tweak so you can use the bot's full performance and to your liking.
1382  Economy / Reputation / Re: Do you miss VOD poll? on: April 29, 2021, 10:20:50 AM
I think Vod needs an extended break from the forum. His actions show that he was not doing well mentally for quite some time prior to him leaving. I hope that he can get himself help that he needs so he can heal and live a good life.
What happened to @Vod to cause him/her to be mentally afflicted though? Based on what I have seen in these forum and his trust rating, I am sure that people are going to miss @Vod because if I base my opinion on the trust, @Vod is by far the only person that works real hard busting scams on this forum.
1383  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 09:36:21 AM
Twitter is a shitty website anyway so I don't think that they will be able to cater the reports, it really is a sad thing because if you try and search for something that is pretty perverted in Twitter, there is a lot of it and no reports are made on this and has been happening for a long time.
Its on social media so everyone can freely make or do something like this. But we can help by reporting the website and tagged it as scam site. For me I could assure that its a scam site so we better report it and turn it down. No need to confirm it to pancakeswap, those guys are not low like this so obviously these are the scammers and lurers did.
What I am saying is that reporting this scams proliferating in social media is a futile thing because the moderation team are short-handed and ineffective in terms of addressing this report, imagine there are millions of scams and every scam is reported and there are only a thousand in moderation team, I don't think that they are going to be able to address all of that.
1384  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Warning]: Fake Microsoft DirectX 12 site pushes crypto-stealing malware on: April 29, 2021, 08:55:02 AM
Not just crypto credentials but considering that it is a Trojan, I am pretty sure that they will be taking over your computer or even putting a ransomware to add salt to the wound. This fake websites has been craftier over the past few years and they are really good, remember that there is a version of alphabet that fake websites use to bypass the name similarity so if they can't name their site as the original back then, now they can do it and the fonts used are really not that different so it is difficult for an untrained eye to spot.
1385  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Modus on Twitter [Scammers commenting on legit topics] on: April 29, 2021, 08:16:18 AM
this modus has become pretty common throughout social media platforms. if you wander around Facebook clicking comment sections on posts, videos, and articles for an hour especially from popular pages and accounts there is a high chance that you'll encounter them. the sad thing about is that when the post is reported it takes so long before any action is done.
Twitter is a shitty website anyway so I don't think that they will be able to cater the reports, it really is a sad thing because if you try and search for something that is pretty perverted in Twitter, there is a lot of it and no reports are made on this and has been happening for a long time.
1386  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] Robocoders.net Ponzi Project on: April 29, 2021, 07:37:53 AM
If some idiot with money has stumble upon this website and is a total robo nerd, I am sure that they are going to fall for this scam. To everyone out there, if a business that you think is shady is throwing out technical words in the faces of their investors, then it is likely that they don't want you to understand a thing and just be amazed with the technology that they allegedly offer. Good catch OP, damn this Ponzi projects to hell and back.
1387  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 29, 2021, 06:06:02 AM
Emotions are hard to control in reality, some say it could but that was just a hearsay's, nobody could even tell himself that I'll be consistent in doing this.

Frustrations are just the result of our bad actions. We keep blaming ourselves (or someone) because of the mistakes but I don't think this is a good idea. Instead of blaming ourselves, why not make this a reason to educate ourselves and be cautious for the next decisions. If we wanted to improve, then we also to accept that sometimes we lose.
We are an emotional species, that's why it is bard to control and our progress as a civilization is slow. To me, FOMO is mitigated if you don't talk a lot about a certain cryptocurrency to invest in, just get in and buy and hodl and that's it. The problem with blaming ourselves is a lot don't see it as a learning curve.
1388  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I'm wondering who trades with paid signals? on: April 29, 2021, 05:25:45 AM
there are lot of paid signals in trading, there are trading whales and group that is capable of hyping a specific token or coin. if you paid into them they will surely give you some signal info on what to buy and profitable. trading experts and whales are capable of doing dump or pumping a coin,
Well most of this paid signal groups are pretty exclusive that I don't think it will be pretty easy to find a legitimate one because most people who advertise this service are either ineffective or a scammer.
1389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: simple technique of selling high and buying low. on: April 29, 2021, 04:49:30 AM
That's true also you need to consider a lot of things this includes when are you going to enter a trade this is the most critical part, there are times that you thought you have a good entry at a lower point but it keeps going down.
It's not advisable to go in waiting for the right time because you won't find it and it may never happen and the prices might that were looking isn't going to arrive there anymore. Just get in the market, accumulate as much as possible and in the accumulate part, that's where you should be mindful of when you are buying so you can get more out of your money.
1390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you don't need to HODL or trade Bitcoin on: April 29, 2021, 04:08:57 AM
The reason that hodling is good is because bitcoin price is proven to go up in the long-term and not hodling will only result in regret and FOMO because you didn't trust bitcoin to go up in the long-term and then you will make a thread in this forum about how you regret not hodling bitcoin when it was still cheap and then others will reply trying to tell you that it is okay but deep inside they think that you deserve it.
1391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade? on: April 29, 2021, 03:28:26 AM
Funnily enough, the experience of amateur traders with little to no experience and who immediately went with big deposits are almost no different than the experiences of people who lost a fortune in gambling. Wanting to get-rich-quick is a bch.
Them newbies thought they could probably become like the early adopters of bitcoin, they thought that with trading they might make a lot of money but in reality, it is not the case. Any promise of a get rich quick is a trick pulled by other people so they can make more money out of the gullible ones.
1392  Other / Off-topic / Re: Corruption and Sports on: April 28, 2021, 11:31:26 AM
Corruption in the sports sector is linked to the political system where the entire government, from election to governance, is corrupt. This has affected the sports activities in most countries and even the premier league.

FIFA and other sport governing bodies are not left out in the corruption.
Could be the case but most of the time it is an isolated case. Now that I think of it, you are probably right, if the political system is corrupt then that means that they are tolerating corruption in other aspects too.
1393  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gigabet - legit or not? on: April 28, 2021, 10:50:08 AM
I just seen that gigabet is closed.
It's so ridiculous.... people were betting hard to increase level / rank  and gigabet closed without any reason / notice...

But probably there was a reason too few people played so they barely had an income. Actually they didnt have much people in chat last time.

But I should admit the last event of gigabet was good, they given some rains in chats and people could withdraw them. I did withdraw 10 USD from rains  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I think that it is for the better that they closed because a lot of issues have been stacking on them or they probably just have to close to make some big changes. I checked some websites that list gambling websites and I didn't find them. Maybe because they have already closed but I don't think that they will quickly update it though.
1394  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 60+ Billion Bets | 113+ BTC Jackpot! on: April 28, 2021, 10:05:51 AM
That's a pretty scummy thing to do, I assume that that person is a gambling addict because he/she tries to blame the casino for his/her misfortune. I feel bad for this person because besides being addicted, he/she also can't report a real scam or something illegal because no one is going to believe him/her anymore.

The worst thing is that one day, because of her addiction, she will be really cheated. But then, nobody will believe her because of her attitudes.

It's sad, when someone reaches that point.
Isn't that what I said in my previous reply? It is sad to reach that point but at the same time someone who reaches that point deserves arriving there since they lied over the same thing on their own volition. So don't feel pretty bad but they have to face consequences.
1395  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ Crypto.Games ⭐ Biggest wagering contest...250k$ ⭐ Revamped games! ⭐ on: April 28, 2021, 09:24:06 AM
Congratulations to player "OldVsNew" for hitting a 0.03732051 BTC dice jackpot with a bet of only 800 Satoshi!
That is one damn lucky person for only wagering 800 sats to get the dice jackpot, is a lot of money in my country and I am jealous of that guy and I am sure that a lot of dice players who wagered more than the winner is jealous too.
1396  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Table] Withdrawal Fees and Withdrawal Amounts on Crypto Casinos on: April 28, 2021, 08:33:02 AM
Apparently this will be one of the favorite threads that I will always be visiting, it should be noted that Stake.com has lowered the withdrawal fee rates a lot, it is already at 0.0002BTC when before it was at 0.00025BTC, this is considerable, for its part casinos that do not charge a withdrawal fee certainly attract a lot, it is an option that attracts players, especially those looking to have a better economy.
Is the withdrawal fixed or is it based on how much bitcoin or crypto you are withdrawing? For me though, 0.0002 is still a lot of bitcoin because I come from a background that appreciates everything that comes to my hand and 0.0002 is a lot of money converted to my local currency.
1397  Economy / Economics / Re: World risk - global on: April 28, 2021, 07:38:21 AM
I get increased social anxiety, when it watch this chart.
What the hell is "digital inequality"?Does it have something to do with the big tech companies having a monopoly over the high tech industry?
So the biggest problems of the world are weapons of mass destruction, climate change and infectious deceases? Will any country in the world give up on storing nuclear weapons?Nope..
Are we fighting climate change?Nope...
Do we have an infectious decease going on around the world?Yes...
The world will fall apart and there's nothing we can do about it.Let's get drunk. Grin
If we continue to tolerate tech companies, I am sure that they will get a stranglehold of government because they will have a big influence. I don't think that countries will ever get rid of their nuclear stockpile because they know that when war brokes out and they lose, they have to make a stand to do a mutual assured destruction. Regarding diseases, I am sure that we will be able to to address it if we continue to improve in terms of medicine.
1398  Economy / Economics / Re: Tesla still an unprofitable automaker on: April 28, 2021, 06:56:45 AM
I see negative annual car sales, but they have other revenues to make up for this business. The revenue from carbon credit gives them a lot of money to just pay and research and develop other fields. As for tesla cars, I think it will be difficult for them to compete with other brands, since the minds of people are still not accepted by many.
Not enough to behonest, plus I am pretty sure that they will bounce back once their cars become less expensive, I think that it is the only thing that is keeping them from getting a lot of sales, their cars are expensive because it is is an electric car, maybe if the government put some sort of incentive for owning an electric car, they might be able to see some big jump in sales.
1399  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 28, 2021, 06:04:30 AM
If Tesla could sell then anybody can. You really shouldn't worry about it.

The fact that they're interested in buying makes Bitcoin popular and strengthens its market position. If they later sell it will cause normal waves of volatility that would be there anyway.
It's the aftertaste that matters. People saw them buy and saw them profit > they saw information in the news> they will think they can profit too. Institutions that made money once will come back to buy again.

Don't worry about short-term volatility, focus on years to come.
That's what I don't get about this question, I mean everyone has the right be it whale or individual investors, unless bitcoin is a widely adopted currency then it is pretty questionable that they are selling their bitcoins if they can directly use it to buy commodities. Traders have to worry about short-term since they can benefit from it.
1400  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 28, 2021, 05:28:05 AM
Isn't some users here are the same? They have profited out of bitcoin too so what is the difference of Tesla and the other retail investors? We are not blind, it's just that we see that taking  profits is a normal thing for any investing, you need to grow up and accept that this is the reality, if we were blind though, could you do anything to stop Tesla from profiting out bitcoin?
The reasonable people here need to keep a healthy distance from people like OP who chug the Koolaid and work themselves into a lather about anyone who doesn't think in the same unreasonable terms as them. Bitcoin would probably have a better reputation and wider adoption if so many people advocating for it didn't act like they were in a cult.
Is there something wrong with Kool-Aid?  I like their mascot Kool-Aid man. Distancing is one way to address problem with OP but the better alternative in my opinion is to understand the argument and try to put your argument against them to have a healthy discussion and hopefully have OP change his/her perspective on the subject or at the least acknowledge it.
