401  Other / Off-topic / Made my own paper wallet for my wallet on: September 22, 2013, 02:27:10 AM
I had the idea to make my own bitcoin "card" that I could put in my wallet, just like any other card. I bought these Scotch self-laminating sheets, came up with a design, sealed it with the Scotch thing and cut it to size with my paper cutter. Very easy-I was happy with the results, too. I wanted to put the private key on there, too. I realized I could do it and cover it with a tamper-proof hologram INSIDE the lamination or outside. I chose convenience over security I guess you could say. Its a paper wallet-I plan to use it more than once (nail polish remover gets rid of the hologram residue-this things literally going everywhere with me though and I don't think many people carry around nail polish remover). If anyone else feels inspired, I have a few holograms and a bunch of scratch-off stickers I could donate. Anyways, here it is:

402  Other / Off-topic / Re: How Many BTC Have You Made From "Free BTC" Type Sites? on: September 22, 2013, 02:20:17 AM
I got my first ever bitcoins from a faucet, it was in October 2011 and I got 0.005 BTC.
.005...the good old days
403  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importing Private Key to Blockchain Wallet on: September 22, 2013, 02:00:57 AM
That's really weird...I tried on Safari and its just where you said. I've never had problems w/blockchain on Mozilla before. Weird...
Thanks for the help

No problems Smiley If the problem persists make sure you clear your cache and if it still occurs then just a do complete reinstall of Chrome. I'm running Chrome at the moment so I don't think it's a browser issue, prolly just the cache/cookies.
Cleared my whole cache-still the same thing. Too lazy to reinstall Chrome ATM lol. I'll just use Safari when I need to import/export keys. Very weird though.

Hm... when I posted that I personally tested it by logging into my account, so it doesn't seem to be a server side issue. What browser are you using and have you tried clearing the cache and cookies?
I'm on Mozilla...I'll do that and try Safari.
406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Importing Private Key to Blockchain Wallet on: September 22, 2013, 01:43:06 AM
In your tabs once you've logged into the blockchain site you should see "Wallet Home", "My Transactions" etc. At the far right there is a tab that says "Import/Export" which is the one your looking for if you want to import a private key.
Thanks for the suggestion. I remember it being quite easy to import keys...but now I can't find the option anywhere. This is what my "Wallet Home" looks like:

407  Other / Beginners & Help / Importing Private Key to Blockchain Wallet on: September 22, 2013, 01:11:43 AM
I feel like a n00b again. I have a private key I want to import to my blockchain wallet. I can't find any import/export link. Am I missing something? I feel like a fool.
408  Economy / Goods / [WTS] Silver and Copper NORFED (Liberty Dollar) Rounds on: September 21, 2013, 09:03:59 PM
Hey everybody,
I have a separate post w/the copper rounds, but I thought I'd just make it easier and put them here, too.
2 x NORFED 1oz Copper Rounds.

As far as copper, I have 2 x 2007 $1 (classic design). I also have 1 x 2008 Error Round-it has the "Peace" (NORFED was involved in a legal battle, hence Peace instead of Liberty on the front) front with the Ron Paul "Vote For Truth" reverse.

Each 2007:
Error 2008:

These prices include a coin capsule and shipping anywhere in the US. If you are international and interested, let me know.

Thanks!

409  Economy / Collectibles / STILL looking to buy your redeemed Casascius Coins! (I know whats fair!) on: September 21, 2013, 09:02:44 AM
Hey everybody,
I apologize-I couldn't find a past post(s) I had on this same topic.

Anyways, I am interested in ALL redeemed Casascius coins. I have been buying them for a while so I know whats fair.

I have bitcoins, silver, even gold. So please-lets make a deal!
410  Economy / Goods / [WTB/T] 90% Pre-'65 Coinage on: September 20, 2013, 11:10:10 AM
Hey everybody,
I'm looking to buy a small amount of 90% bullion. I am willing to pay a small premium above spot (I only say that because most silver bullion is sold for cheaper than its 90% counterpart.)

I'm always willing to deal. Hope to get some messages.

Thanks!
411  Economy / Goods / Fake Cuban Cigars (They Don't Know That)! $5/ea on: September 20, 2013, 05:36:09 AM
Hey everybody,
Fresh back from Mexico, I have some of the finest fake Cuban cigars there ever were. Yes, they are fake in that they're not Cuban. Still, they're a quality cigar from the Dominican Republic. I am asking /ea for these, plus $1.69 shipping. The torpedo at the end isn't such a good fake, I might smoke that one myself.

But these make a great gift for the person who has it all, you'll be the man if you pull one out when you're playing a round of golf or if you or a friend is going to have a baby...think about it!

PM if interested!

Real Cohibas have the three squares above the logo just like these. Like I said, they're good fakes!

412  Other / Off-topic / Re: Johniewalker is closing comments on his threads to scam people on: September 19, 2013, 02:20:52 AM

Thanks for that. Even though I don't consider it a negative, even if someone else does (the silver "AfricanHunter" incident) that happened more than a YEAR ago. Can you even find any blame for me anywhere else? Yes, I posted the shredded currency I had for sale (and it was like I described-BorderBits is full of it if he thinks he can say otherwise...that picture file was to small to make out a word on SHREDS of bills...how could you possibly "assay" -sidenote: hillarious because there is no such thing as "assaying" a picture and he just sounded like a fool saying it-that and get the "results" you got, or any for that matter?). Yes, it was/is available elsewhere for cheaper...if you buy a 5 pound bag like some troll posted a link to. I was selling it by the half ounce for bitcoins, and figuring in shipping costs, so I added a premium (crazy, but people need to make money). The part I don't understand, too, is that if people didn't want to buy it-they didn't have to! I didn't say that the stuff wasn't available for sale elsewhere, I told no lies.

The only reason I "fuel the fire" and respond to trolls, giving them what they want, is because I want to make sure my reputation is not wrongfully tarnished. I'm young with a lot of school loans to pay back...I rely on every source of income I have. I have no "sockpuppets" (whatever that means). I won't disclose their names because I haven't asked if its ok to do so, but I deal with "Hero" members and other prominent members regularly. One I will mention is DobZombie (because he told me it was ok to disclose). I have done plenty of business with him. And, he has his US mail sent to me and I forward it to him in Australia. I'd say a fair amount of trust is involved there, considering I've sent him his silver Casascius coins he ordered, more silver, and more stuff for his museum.

Users like "BorderBits" are the worst kind. They put on a spectacle and try to crucify you to the point that you don't make another sale on this site again (not like he even could have had that power with me-a year of doing regular business with someone speaks louder than some annoying troll). I have no idea what his motive is. Literally all I can think of his that he "gets  his jollies" being a troll on here.

Very nice post. I don't think you are a scammer. That's why I wanted to add my two cents. I'm not sure why BitBorder targeted you. But, I think you are being as transparent as you can. Up to this point you have answered every question which you have been asked in a polite and professional manner. It seems BitBorder does have something against you. I'm not sure what has gone on between both of you, have you dealt with each other?

Sockpuppets by the way mean duplicate accounts. So having a account. BitBorder was suggesting you were using your sockpuppets to vouch for you and boost your trust rating. I have seen you trading here at the forums whilst I have been lurking around and I have not seen one complaint personally.

Thanks for that detailed post, I hope the both of you can sort this mess out.

Thanks. I am just as puzzled as you are as to why "BorderBits" has launched his crusade against me. And if thats what he meant by sockpuppets thats an lol literally. I have one account-anybody with multiple accounts obviously can't be up to anything good. I'm not going to make any unfounded accusations-even against BorderBits, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to find out he is on a hacked/purchased account (notice I stated that as my opinion, not fact). I've looked through some more of his posts and all he seems to do is troll. I would think that somebody with as high a post count as he has didn't get there by just trolling.

And about transparency-anyone can ask me any question they want, just PM me.

*EDIT: I looked back to his first threads and BorderBits might not be on a hacked/purchased account. Nearly every post he has made is negative. He even is against bitcoins as currency. That begs the question...what is he doing here? You have that much free time? Get a job, volunteer, go on a hike or something.

You were incompetent to the point of scamming, in a truly Dunning-Kruger fashion, when dealing with AfricanHunter.  Such stupidity should warrant a scammer tag, but unfortunately it's about par for the course in this community.  Luckily no one is dumb enough to take you up on your shredded money scam, but you blatantly lied about your shredded money -- you lied about its worth, about its origins, and about its condition.  That's some real shady shit.
The truth is that you don't know anything about that-that's why your post was moved here, idiot (if you're going to throw around that word, I don't feel bad doing it). First of all, you still have me puzzled as to why my post selling shredded money was a scam-and "no one is dumb enough"; I bought more of the stuff, stuffed glass bricks with it and used them to make lower/higher tiers to display my coins. Apparently no one else on here thought of anything they could use it for. But would the US Treasury Dept sell it if people didn't buy it? And now you want to talk about REAL idiocy? You said my gold coin was fake and its absolutely not. Removing myself from the situation, as soon as I realized that I wouldn't have given really anything you've said any stock. Don't you realize who you are/what you're doing? You were called a troll by a mod, your threads are moved to "Off-Topic" because they have no basis; who's the real idiot here? You keep talking, thats cool. I might meander over here to the Off-Topic section every once in a while and see what nonsense you're spewing-thats if you're still around. Mods have banned known trolls-which you are.

Just wanted to say that varsity jacket (grey and black one) is sweet-and surprisingly affordable.

Lol, there's a reason your posts get moved here and mine don't. I am NOT a scammer. If you do any business with me I guarantee you'll be happy w/it. Like I said, I have plenty of references I could provide-people who are a big presence on this site. And BorderBits is the one making up lies. He called a gold coin I posted fake, just to make me look bad. Why has he launched this crusade against me? I don't know. And get my stuff together? I don't know what you could possibly mean.

Just like AfricanHunter was happy with getting scammed by you?  How many of your references are your sockpuppets, scammer?

Even though he does have negatives. He also has a lot of positives. Picking out a few Negatives seems a bit unfair without mentioning the amount of people who were happy with his trades. I don't believe he has a lot of sock puppets. Maybe a few but most of the members he deals with are actually hero members and some have registered before he did and are known throughout the community.

416  Economy / Goods / [WTS] NORFED Copper (Still for Sale, Locked for Trolls) on: September 18, 2013, 09:07:16 PM
Hey everybody. For some strange reason, "Borderbits" hasn't been banned yet, even though the marketplace mod said it himself that he was a troll. Anyway, its cause of him I'm locking my threads. To get in touch with me about any item I'm selling, just send me a PM.
Anyways, for sale here I have 3 x NORFED Copper Rounds.

I have 2 x 2007 $1 (classic design). I also have 1 x 2008 Error Round-it has the "Peace" (NORFED was involved in a legal battle, hence Peace instead of Liberty on the front) front with the Ron Paul "Vote For Truth" background.

BorderBits is unhappy that I exposed him as a troll. How did I expose him? By posting a screenshot of the conversation I had with the moderator of the Marketplace forums where he said verbatim "BorderBits is a troll".

just check out this thread and my (the) final response in it:

419  Economy / Goods / Standing Offer: Dos Pesos Gold Coin for 0.5BTC Casascius Coin on: September 17, 2013, 04:05:21 AM
Hey everyone,

I started a thread like this but it was overrun by trolls, one specifically. If you want to check it out, here it is: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=293844.0

Anyways, thats the reason why this thread is self-moderated and locked.
But this offer will stand for a while (as gold value and bitcoin value changes); it'll be fun to see when the deal is a fair and square one.

The deal is this: I have one 1945 (circulated-giving it numismatic value, most are restrikes) Dos Pesos Mexican Gold Coin. It contains 0.0482 ozt of pure gold. I am looking to trade it for a Casascius 0.5 Bitcoin Physical Coin.

If at anytime someone wants to take me up on this, just send a PM!

420  Economy / Goods / [WTS] 2 x G-Shock Watches (Locked but Still For Sale!) on: September 17, 2013, 03:46:46 AM
Hey everybody,

I have 2 G-Shock "G-Lide" watches that I'm looking to sell. The G-lides are different from other G-Shocks primarily because the watch face is not nearly as large/bulky. I won't post the specifications here, a quick Google search should let you easily find them.

The black and white one just needs a new battery. I would replace it, as I would only send out a fully-functioning watch.

If you're interested in one (or both!) of the watches, please just send me a PM with your offer. I'll happily accept bitcoins, silver, or gold.

Thanks!
