One recommendation - the ability to view prices in BTC before adding to the cart and selecting payment.  Othe than that, I think the site looks fine.

Awesome! I can use bitcoins to buy your shirt using the same service I already could have used to buy whatever I wanted. Innovation at its finest.

Ironically it looks like Mao's head is the sun in the second picture, its just the glare.
1327  Economy / Goods / Gauging Interest: Chinese Communist Party Propaganda-circa Cultural Revolution on: March 14, 2013, 02:13:22 AM
Obviously I wrote this post a while ago. I'm bumping it because there HAS to be some interested new members.

I have 3 roughly 12''x14'' (they're in metric units so those are rough numbers) samples of Chinese Propaganda Posters from the Cultural Revolution of 1972. They aren't posters that would have been hung for the public to see. They came from a ledger with the complete collection of prints from that year. When I bought the things I made sure to take pictures of the ledger (manilla-folder looking), but of course that was a phone ago and I guess I never uploaded them to my computer. If you are interested and absolutely want, I could go back to the guy I bought them from and have him write a Certificate of Authenticity and provide you with some more pictures-but I would charge a little more for that. These are 100% real. I know China loves to fake things (eBay is littered with "Propaganda Posters" printed on cheap newspaper type paper. The Chinese NEVER used this type of paper for any of their propaganda art, especially ones with Mao on them. I specialized in East Asian studies in college and can provide you with documentation if you'd like. These will be hard to part with. I don't even know if anyone would be interested, but if you are, tell me which one you would like and offer a price.
Thanks

1328  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Looking to sell BTC for JPY in Sapporo on: March 13, 2013, 04:15:42 AM
I am looking for somebody to sell BTC for Yen face to face in Sapporo in 3 months time.

Can't find any on localbitcoins.com (All in Japan are in Tokyo).

Value will be around 145,000円

Starting the search now in case it takes a long time.
If you can't find any, exchange your BTC for cash (should be relatively easy) and go to the bank that you have an account with. They are inclined to give you the best exchange rate. I do it all the time when I go to Mexico, haven't found anywhere with a better exchange rate.
1329  Economy / Currency exchange / Looking for Someone who wants to intermittently sell BTC for PayPal Verified on: March 13, 2013, 04:11:44 AM
I'm working on a project that involves needing small amounts of Bitcoins (no more than 1) intermittently. It would be nice to have someone I can go to consistently instead of trying to find someone every time I need less than a BTC. This way the trust can be built up, you can keep most of your coins while consistently getting a little bit of cash, etc. Please contact me if this interests you.

Got my Slave Queen round yesterday-sooner than I expected and completely blemish free. Happy to be a repeat customer.
1331  Economy / Services / Re: If you can identify this silver round for me I'll send you an Indian Head Penny on: March 13, 2013, 03:07:07 AM
I bought it at 75 cents over spot, I was just curious. I'm thinking maybe Sunshine Mint. In the '80s they were called "Sunshine Mining" and their logo was a circle that said "Silver Eagle" although it was facing the other way and it had something besides stars on the sides. Who knows. Silver is silver I suppose.

When we get rid of fiat money once and for all, how will I do coke?
Is it worth investing in those bitcoin checks?
Drug dealers will just accept gold and silver.
1333  Other / Off-topic / Re: Guess what I did today? on: March 13, 2013, 01:49:11 AM
That's gold, prob going to copy the idea tbh.
Thanks. Do it! Imagine if everybody did. The more people turned onto bitcoins, the higher the demand and the more they're worth. All about the bottom line.
1334  Other / Off-topic / Re: Guess what I did today? on: March 13, 2013, 01:48:18 AM
Wondering what do you plan to achieve by doing that? A free anonymous donation?

Personally, I never look at what's written on bills. Especially $1s. My primary use for them is stripper tips. And I doubt they accept QR codes.
True, there is a lot of writing on $1 bills. But I have never seen a QR code on one. What am I trying to achieve? I guess turning more people onto bitcoin. And I was bored and it sounded like a good idea.
1335  Economy / Services / If you can identify this silver round for me I'll send you an Indian Head Penny on: March 13, 2013, 01:45:31 AM
So I was at my local coin shop for my weekly visit and I asked what kind of rounds they had available. They said an old guy had come in this weekend and cashed all of his silver out. Among old Engelhard and JM bars (which I grabbed), I found these rounds I had never seen before. I liked the look of them cause they were simple and raw, and obviously old. I have been looking for about an hour and I can't find anything on who minted it/where/when it was minted. If you figure it out for me I'll send you a pre-1900 Indian head penny for free. Here's the pictures (front and back):

BTW, love the vintage Beef videos. They would NEVER make a video like that now-its not "PC".
1337  Economy / Goods / Re: Cow Share on: March 12, 2013, 08:36:56 PM
I always think its cool when people are selling different things for Bitcoins. Having said that, I bet you would be most profitable if you sold your meat like Omaha Steaks does. Instead of parting it out per cow or half cow (because not a lot of people really know what that means), create a sort of menu of options of which cuts are for sale and at what price. People see "Filet Mignon" and they are willing to pay a lot more than they would for "part of a cow". But hats off to you, might patronize you in the future.

Hi,
Up for sale I have 9 Silver quarters. I am asking 1 BTC, including shipping, for the lot of them. Their current melt value is 5 something, so they are priced under spot. PM me if interested-these will be on eBay soon if no one is interested.

Isn't that illegal?

What could be illegal about putting a sticky note on a dollar bill?
"Destroying US currency". First of all-is it really destroying it? If any kind of defacement is "destroying" it, what about all those black marks you see on $20 bills that come from a counterfeit detector? Or those machines at touristy places that turn your penny into a little souvenir? . And if it is illegal, anyone feel free to call the police.
