are you referring to Instawallet?
1202  Economy / Economics / Re: Things getting interesting once we past $100 on: April 02, 2013, 09:26:14 AM
I bet almost literally (if you "ran the numbers") buying Silver and Gold would be your best bet. Anyone will buy gold and silver, always=CASHOUT
oh, and if you buy precious metals maybe you'd like to wait some time while their value climbs Smiley

Yeah I know a guy

For real-I've been looking into time travelling machines
1205  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius 10BTC silver coin (used/spent) on: April 02, 2013, 09:13:17 AM
Please only comment if you have serious offers, thanks.

Current highest offer by PM is 1.25BTC from a forum member, he can remain anonymous unless he says otherwise ITT
Its kind of obnoxious to tell someone not to post on their thead, when the comment is relevant. You've seen it. People have to "checkz' eachother, make sure its not a scam. etc
1206  Economy / Economics / The "Casascius Factor" on: April 02, 2013, 09:00:22 AM
Casascius coins are sold above their value in terms of bitcoins. Why would someone pay this premium-its Cool or they're thinking about how even as  redeemed it would be worth more money. If that is the case (to SOME extent it is), why don't people start hoarding blank Casascius coins? Anyways, sorry, my question is this:
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction STILL Unconfirmed on: April 02, 2013, 03:22:52 AM
If you give it 4-24 hours it will likely be picked up by some miner; if MtGox was throwing all it's transactions into the permanent bit bucket, there might be just a small outcry.
First of all, fuck MtGox (again). I noticed there is another transaction that looks like it was sent with mine. It was for .5 something BTC, making the total amount .9 something. I wouldn't guess it would take so long for a transaction of that amount to be confirmed. If I have to wait, I have to wait. I'm fine with that (not like I have a choice). I just wanted to make sure that it was going to be an eternally unconfirmed transaction. Lesson learned: pay the "optional" fee next time.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction STILL Unconfirmed on: April 02, 2013, 02:59:15 AM
MtGox is notorious for not including fees when they are required by the network, especially if you clicked the "green" option. Not much you can do, if the priority is under 57,600,000 and there is no fee, it is considered blockable spam by nodes.
So what ultimately happens? The transaction remains eternally unconfirmed? I know its not a HUGE amount of BTC but its still like $40-which is a lot to poor me.
1209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction STILL Unconfirmed on: April 02, 2013, 02:57:49 AM
Some details would be helpful in discussing your issue.

TransactionID?: 38d2b91f7918ccaae687529522814c3c9f87910760d580bfcc71faefaacc94af

Address sent to?:
1LUbghgDuLUDBNKDBEXGbkZyu3JNuhc2mX

Amount sent?: 0.36776088

Did you include a fee?: No

How many inputs?: Not sure what this means

Some transactions (low priority with no fee) may never confirm.: so are my coins gone forever or what?

High priority with a fee will typically confirm within a few blocks.
1210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction STILL Unconfirmed on: April 02, 2013, 02:15:35 AM
It does look like its on the list of Unconfirmed transactions, according to blockchain. Is that a good thing?
1211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Transaction STILL Unconfirmed on: April 02, 2013, 02:11:59 AM
I sent BTC from MtGox to my address on Walletbit and it has been HOURS and not a single confirmation. Am I just being impatient or is something wrong?
1212  Economy / Service Discussion / WalletBit Confirmation Time on: April 02, 2013, 12:54:47 AM
I just created an account (wallet) w/WalletBit. I sent coins from MtGox to my address on WalletBit about a half hour ago and according to blockchain the transaction is still not confirmed. Is this normal? Anything I can do?
1213  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wanted: Mortgage company that accepts BTC for payment on: April 01, 2013, 11:55:23 PM
I hope you find one. I always like it when I see people selling things like cars or property for bitcoins. It does a lot to publicize bitcoins in a positive light. If a company as "mainstream" as a mortgage company accepted bitcoins it would help to further legitimize them and move away from the stigma people have associated with bitcoins and drugs (Silk Road), money laundering and tax evasion. Good luck.
1214  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: So are my coins in my Instawallet wallet gone? on: April 01, 2013, 11:52:59 PM
So what do you think-the "security breach" they're talking about means... hackers have emptied every account on there?
1215  Economy / Service Discussion / So are my coins in my Instawallet wallet gone? on: April 01, 2013, 10:43:59 PM
Didn't keep a ton in there, but a little worried.

1219  Economy / Service Discussion / Whats Up w/BitMit? on: April 01, 2013, 03:14:29 AM
BitMit is only displaying a few items in each category. I know for a fact a bunch are missing because I can't even find my listings on there.
1220  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Casascius 10BTC silver coin (used/spent) on: April 01, 2013, 02:14:59 AM
For sale is, what will surely be a collectors item, they are being sold right now for 20BTC

It is a one troy ounce .999 silver coin with the golden BTC

The original 10BTC have been spent and this is just for the silver coin, I will cover shipping.

For this I am asking 3BTC

It is a high price yes, but you are buying a piece of history

PM me if interested.

20 BTC? Thats incredibly high for even a loaded one. So sad to think of this one being redeemed. A piece of history, perhaps. But all it is right now is 1 oz of silver, which is worth about $28.
