Just what I said above. Not going to post on here but if you're interested, PM me and I'd be happy to success.

Kropotkin would've loved Bitcoin. Beautiful note. "Anarchism, the name given to a principle or theory of life and conduct under which society is conceived without government — harmony in such a society being obtained, not by submission to law, or by obedience to any authority, but by free agreements concluded between the various groups, territorial and professional, freely constituted for the sake of production and consumption, as also for the satisfaction of the infinite variety of needs and aspirations of a civilized being."
-Kropotkin I haven't looked at this thread in awhile. I'm blown away by the quality people are putting out. Would there be an interest in a website that collected freely available Bitcoin note designs for download? Someone should definitely set one up with all of the designs, and a tool to generate bills like printcoins.com uses w/bitaddress.org

Hi, I'm interested in getting a couple used (redeemed) Series 1 Casascius coins (only the 1 BTC). It should be pretty clean. I'm not going to pay an exorbitant fee for one, but we can work something out. If we do a trade you'll profit more. I'd be willing to let some silver go for these. Please PM me.
Thanks

Man, I'm second-guessing myself after seeing some of these designs. They're literally professional-that is, I could easily see them being real money! Anyways, I've always liked to store my coins on paper, so I have fun coming up with designs to use. Like I said, I'm humbled by some of the ones that I see, but I would like to submit one anyway. I'm kind of surprised at the lack of mention of "Atlas Shrugged" in bitcoin circles. Its my favorite book, and one I believe that will achieve/save pure capitalism. So, that's what this bill is about and that's why I'm posting it. There are obviously spots for address and key. The vertical white space is for vertical text of the address. You could also do the same on the other side of the picture, and therefore have a spot to put both address and key-up to you. Anyone who wants can use this in any way they want. By the way, it was designed to have the dimensions of a real US dollar bill. That is, it should be used as 6.1 inches long x 2.6 inches high.

be careful of unusually large gift cards from unknown users
could have been purchased with stolen credit cards (or even legit cards then charged back)
almost got burned with this once myself
Not neasesarily calling out OP but this is VERY true. I used to work somewhere where people would buy a large gift card before fraud was detected on the credit card, then use it to buy multiple gift cards of smaller denominations.

Silver is FAR from useless. Not only has it served as a way to store wealth for thousands of years, but its use in industry is ever-increasing. Silver is the greatest conductor of heat and electricity. Not to mention, its a lot of fun to collect.

First of all this is no joke. It isn't too good to be true. Buying silver this way will give you [plus or minus] spot price for premium pieces of bullion. I have been doing it since I discovered it a few months ago, now its the bulk of my bullion. I figured that for a fee, if anyone is interested, I'll share my method. I will only tell five people-and these people must agree not to tell anyone else. If you're interested, I'll explain what you need to know for 0.1BTC

When my XPS broke I got a Macbook Pro. I was so happy to part with Dell. I can't tell you how many hours I spent on the phone with someone in India.

Lol, unfortunately I don't think he's a member on here. I know he can back out (and I would certainly leave negative feedback), but I noticed he has a lot of feedback @99.3% positive. Of course its speculation, but you think he'd take negative feedback for 10 silver quarters?

No offense to the OP, by the way. I think the way to go about something like this though is to hire someone who has some sort of profile. Give them half up front and the rest if you decide to use their design. If not, let them keep the half payment-they put a lot of work in. I just feel bad when I see bounties offered and people essentially working for free.
I just enjoy being an asshole, so I came up with this new and ground-breaking idea on how to make people suffer. I shall name it "call for bids" or even "open tender", and nobody has ever done it before, especially for graphic designs. Disregard my first post (on how you don't have to enter a finished design to win, but just a conceptual piece that shows how you are up for it), disregard my attempt at licensing this under CC so non-winning contestants still earn the necessary attribution for derivative works. Disregard the fact that it's everyones free choice to participate, when you boil it down, it still is slavery, amirite? Sorry for the sarcasm, but I believe it's a bad habit to feel victimized or offended in someone else's place. These are all smart people, let them decide if it's worth the effort. It's neither a publicity stunt nor a tease with a predefined winner. I want the best design that fits my requirements and this method will show me what's out there. This brings me to the main reason I was stopping by: You can't just take an already existing design (mainly those published in https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=92969.680), put my logo on it and call it original artwork. If it's clearly a derivative work to something that was not published under a compatible license before, I can't use it for my purpose, because everyone else will be able to use the original design. Again: There are no rules in place that say that someone else can't print bitnotes, so I will need to use copyright as a basis to make a genuine bitaurum-note a potentially expensive thing to copy. So sorry, if it's not original artwork, it doesn't qualify for the contest. That being said: I appreciate everyone's effort so far and I am amazed by what people can do. There have been very good entries that have only been emailed to me and which I will not disclose until the contest is over (as per the artist's wish). There also were several requests for the vectorized logo, so I am hoping for some more entries by next week. I don't understand the sarcasm, I was not trying to fault you. I've just seen tons of bounty posts where the OP ends up choosing a design they like and not paying (since it was already made public). Perhaps I posted what I had to say on the wrong thread-you seem 100% good intentioned. But you have to admit, some people take advantage in similar situations.

Am I missing something here? We're talking about the caco used in chocolate making, right? Why would the legality of caco seeds be in question..? I hope you find what you're looking for. If there are some members on here from central/south America, they will probably have access to the seeds. He said coca, what you're thinking of is cacao.

I don't know about everyone else, but I LOVE to handle my precious metal. It gives me a hard on. You mention the cost of shipping being the only advantage to you holding someone else's silver. What are you going to do when they want to sell it? Broker it for everyone? No offense here btw. Entrepreneurial thinking is good.
