421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: RIP LUNA & UST ! Is USDD be same like that.. on: May 11, 2022, 03:41:19 AM
What is ust pegged to for such a huge dip! Luna can dip since it only reacts to market condition and the general market is currently at a huge dip but why ust that is a stablecoin will experience such dip? Just make me lose trust in ust stablecoin compared to usdt which is still strongly trading at 1usdt.
I can't say much about trx usdd because it is new and not too long everyone praised ust luna and see the end result, I guess it is better to wait and watch what will happen afterwards.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven??? on: May 11, 2022, 03:23:10 AM
I think depending on the time you get in, for those who got on very early perhaps they might consider it as a safe haven but for others who got in at the peak for short term gain, it won't be safe heaven because their investment has reduced as the price fluctuate. For long term holders, they may see it as safe haven with the belief that btc price will be much higher in future
423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Bitcoin and crypto "could destroy your life", go to rehab hehehe on: May 10, 2022, 06:42:48 PM
It is a possibility since it involves feelings and emotion, when someone is emotionally involved when trading it can affect their mental health especially when the trade is more lose than win, the person will keep trying and hoping they will be successful in the next attempt and by doing this they get worked up emotionally, traumatized that can lead to bigger health issues. I don't think trading is for everyone.
424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to live a peaceful life? Without drama? Then HODL and enjoy the ride on: May 10, 2022, 06:31:10 PM
I've never sold a satoshi since 2013, actually never sold any BTC. I've seen all the ups and downs, seen them all. I'm very relaxed now because I just HODL and enjoy the ride. Let the weak hands lose, the strong hands will remain. Go on and sell your BTC to the big boys. One day BTC will go in the $xxx, xxx zone and many of you will regret selling. Dips are temporary and BTC will still exist in 2140, remember that, it cannot just disappear. Go on, make the rich guys richer. They will be happy to buy it from you, but remember, once you give it away it's gone.

Actually I cannot believe a new opportunity to buy BTC for cheap has been given to everyone. It could be among the last who knows!

I completely agree, we have weaker hands and string hands in crypto market as of now, I hope as they sell their coins strong hands are picking them up for future hold, this market doesn't want 2 months investors who will keep making noise anytime there is a slight shift in price. Not everyone will take advantage of this opportunity.
425  Economy / Economics / Re: When the People's Choice is not the Investors' Choice: Economic Prospects on: May 09, 2022, 06:35:35 PM
The people are the electorate and have the power to put whomever they so desire they want in power who they feel have the interest of the people at heart, it doesn't matter what choice the investors want provided the people can come together to collectively vote for whom they want. Except the election is not expected to be free and fair then there is a reason to be worried.
426  Economy / Economics / Re: Get, Save & Invest. on: May 08, 2022, 02:33:48 PM
Investment is very important, some people don't see it as important because probably their job is earning them good money so they only save money but don't invest.
I always try to invest some part of my salary because of future.
No matter how small the amount, it is good to invest to support your retirement when the time comes.
I have already invest some amount in crypto,  now I want to diversify into properties because they have long term value.
427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron (TRX) Time is Here ! What about a new ATH on: May 08, 2022, 02:08:18 PM
Now the 30% Yield pick my interest on the new USDD that's quite impressive and can certainly bring in more users to the network. So this is the reason trx is pumping in the midst of this blood bath the crypto market is currently facing, interesting Justin Sun will always manage to get peoples attention one way or another.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: May 07, 2022, 06:52:36 PM
I am aware that Bitcoin has been used by people engaging in illegal activities and it does bother me. However, I have never done anything illegal with crypto so it’s not that relevant to me personally. I guess I’m concerned it gives the entire crypto space a bad reputation when this kind of thing happens. I fear people may start blaming BTC over a few bad apples and that’s potentially bad for long term investors like me.

Exactly, the concern is for those who use it for bad and illegal activities and knowing how the media always like to capture and loud the negative side of things even though one thing has nothing to do with the other, btc will end being the target, they will make it look as if btc is the culprit. Unfortunately, no one can control what people do with their btc,  even centralize fiat, people still finds a way to use it for illegal activities. It is the nature of human.
429  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance is accused of providing users data to Russia on: May 07, 2022, 06:38:43 PM
Am just going to speak neutrally, it is good that people want to stay private and all that but when you look at it from another angle, are people really living a private life in this day and age where social media is the order of the day? exchange is not the only way people share personal info.
What about people who publicly share and talk about there experience with crypto! are they in danger of some sort? if binance share this info must be because of a reason, i mean there are millions of people using centralize exchange since perhaps close to a decade now and so far am sure %10 have not been arrested by the authority.
Anyways, this is just my own perception, i don't know how many decentralize exchange can provide the same service the centralize exchange provides.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you know we are in the middle of a digital identity crisis? on: May 06, 2022, 01:50:42 PM
And now you are telling us to give our identity to some unknown people? It doesn't remove the problem of giving your personal information to the web. How can we be so sure that project will protect us and won't sell us out to those hackers, or worst hack us themselves. The best way to avoid data breach is not give your personal information in the first place.

Yeah some way of digital protection huh!  Grin
HyperSign is here to save us all, protect us from the bad hackers that are out to steal our digital identity. lol, Imagine an unknown project wants to collect same data it claims to protect from hackers, how are they protecting their people then?
The simple way to protect yourself is not to give out your personal info to any project except if you don't mind doing so.
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: USDM Stablecoin on: May 06, 2022, 01:02:27 PM
Don't waste your time with this SCAMMERS, This Stabila Network and its Parent company Moneta are big time fraudsters and scammers, investors be careful don't put a penny in this scam project.

They use hunters to promote there project and disappear without payment and then change the topic to aidrop.  See Reference

They are WANTED for plagiarizing all their project documents but the scammers refuse to try and defend themselves.  See reference
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 19,400 BTC on: May 05, 2022, 05:49:26 PM
i think i know who the person behind his nickname is
Worker reward
when I bought my first bitcoins was on the bitcoin market the price was not 1000$ but 100$ I received for 19400 btc but I don't know who sent me 14.35 btc in 2013

You are still talking despite you have been caught in your web of lies? You and your alts account think you can come to this forum to lie and get away with it?
The probability that you are not the owner of the btc is way higher than you claiming to be the owner. Only a dumb person will sell a laptop with 19,400 btc in it. Maybe you should go and trace the buyer of your old laptop.  Cheesy
433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk, Mark Cuban Discuss Using Dogecoin to Solve Twitter Spam Problem ! on: May 04, 2022, 07:07:34 PM
What do I think?  Well I think they have managed to find a way to create additional utility for dogecoin which has confirmed what I have read before concerning Elon Musk intention for buying twitter.
If they feel this will be good for the growth of dogecoin and at the same time reduce the level of spam on twitter, they will do what it takes to make it so.
They are at liberty to do as they see fir.
434  Economy / Economics / Re: "I'm afraid that I don't hear a thing" ...Do you guys see any biz op ? on: May 04, 2022, 06:55:00 PM
If you understand trading properly you can still make money even in this present market state. If you don't then don't venture into it.
Even when the economy is in critical state, I think restaurants are always in business because people must eat, perhaps you don't have the experience in that field. There are tones of opportunities online, especially in the crypto space assuming you don't have the skills of web design, developer etc.
There are offers like being an ambassador, moderator or admin of a project with decent payment, it doesn't require capital except basic knowledge.

435  Economy / Economics / Re: Making use of Bitcoin as payment in our business. on: May 03, 2022, 08:18:12 PM
Making use of "Bitcoin" as another means of exchange In our daily business is my own opinion to improve our business strategy, if customer doesn't have money to pay after purchasing goods and any other business transaction, we should try and implement the means of Bitcoin payment and through this our business will improve in market and it will promote our business both in local and international way because the present century we are now is century of cryptocurrency...so my fans what do you suggest on my opinion!!!!

This is a good idea and also one sided because you have to consider the customer as well, their knowledge about btc, their ability to use btc and the willingness to use btv instead of fiat.
Maybe you should start by running a poll in your business to see the number of your customers who are actually aware of btc and what it is use for. Just because you have the knowledge of btc dont mean your customers have same knowledge as well.
It is important to find out what they know and prepare them.
436  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a place in the world you could live like a king via sig campaigns? on: May 03, 2022, 08:02:21 PM
Actually, there are so many countries most especially here in Africa you could live like a king, and even someplace like a demi-god with the money you earn from a signature campaign on bitcointalk, because just as the price of the dollar keeps rising to the currency of most of these African countries, someone earning in dollars will stand a better advantage when he changes his dollar into the local currency, and the Democratic Republic of Congo is not far from one of those countries.

Congo is actually one of the poorest countries and the second-largest by area of 245,409 km2  (905,567 sq mi) with a population of around 92 million, located in Central Africa. Congo is officially the most populous  Francophone country in the world.

So if someone earning around $50 to $100 weekly from a signature campaign gets to this kind of place omo, these people will crowd you a king immediately sharp sharp.
But for me personally, I don't think I can stay here oh...... Don't you see the way they look, these people can even kill and chop you raw.

Ummm are you trying to scare him away or convince him with this screenshot?  Grin
Perhaps the OP will find it interesting enough to want to enquire more (he is a tough guy) Wink.
Anyways, In addition to what the rest members have suggested above, I think South Africa will be a more suitable place for someone like The Pharmacist to be because SA has almost the qualities you can find in the USA (assuming that's where he currently reside).
They have cultural heritage and technological advancement  and with the amount mentioned, it is enough to get five roommates going (although I didn't look that part up) but it can't be compared to the United States standard of living.
437  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the World Feed Itself? Historic Fertilizer Crunch Threatens Food Security on: May 02, 2022, 08:30:11 PM
...but lately many smart farmers have emerged who make their own fertilizers from natural ingredients. so they use less of the chemical fertilizers they buy. without compromising crop quality.

Yes it is better to produce organic manure than using chemical fertilizers for farming. Countries with fertile lands can easily achieve this if they are willing to put in the effort. The problem is nowadays, people are so dependant on already processed stuff that they don't want to engage in doing such things.
In countries with enough farm lands they can engage in shifting cultivation.
438  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistake I made till now investing on crypto projects. on: May 02, 2022, 08:17:08 PM
Many projects are under development so it is hard to see a complete project or with a 100% working product. The reason why projects source for funds through ico, ieo, ido, igo or what have you is because they don't have the money to initially build a project into a finished product, hence, you as an investor in can only invest the their dreams and hope that they deliver, even though their token is trading does not mean there is a finish product to give a strong utility to the token.
This is the reality, even eth is not 100% complete, but compare to other alts, it is 90% better.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the future of crypto 10 years from now. on: May 01, 2022, 05:20:40 AM
Bitcoin is the best coin in crypto and as the years passed by there are a lot of coins (altcoins) that is more profitable in terms of investment on both short and long term process, in you're future sights and speculation of btc based on some good promising projects that is now scattering and has a posibility to move to next level in the near future, Can there will be a coin that can manage to surpass btc 10 years from now?

And you are asking so you can quickly buy shitload of the coin/token perhaps?  Grin
Actually, I think there is one, it is called the 'Unknown Coin'  it is impossible to tell the future bro, it is unknown to anyone if there will be such coin/token that can surpasse btc 10 years from now. Or maybe there is one already created by some anonymous dev nobody knows. So i guess you just have to wait and see what happened in 10 years from now.  Wink
440  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Let's Prepare Bitcoin World War 3 in 2033 after the Grand Financial Crash in2027 on: April 30, 2022, 05:16:35 AM
I don't know if you are serious about all that you are saying right now but I gotta say, I like the way it is being delivered. I can't believe that I actually spent time in finishing to read it and trying to understand the thought behind your post(prophecy) despite how confusing for me the way it jumps from one thing to another is. And you know what, I found some part of it pretty interesting, reasonable and somewhat likely to happen. I guess I'll just have to wait and see what happens next to prove your prophesies wrong or right.

Probably you are not familiar with the infamous bitcoinmoses,
You should have gone the easy way, read the first and last sentence and you are done  Grin You won't waste time reading the jargons in-between. (Tip for any of his future post)
@BitcoinMoses find a political way to pass your message to those guys up there, I will suggest starting with Putin.
