421  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 100 Cryptocurrency History Book on: November 04, 2017, 02:40:12 AM
Hmm I would firstly filter out coins/tokens that are younger than 2-3 years. Because they are way too young and unproven to write something about their history. Chances are a lot of the coins/tokens listed will be obsolete in the coming years. And bitconnect? Seriously? I can't take you guys seriously if you guys include bitconnect.

I have to disagree with you. Good back stories, will sell more books. Some of these Alt coins might even contain some very

interesting back stories. Take Bitcoin Gold as a example.... it got wide media coverage and a lot of interest from a lot of

people. { The ASIC resistance might not be unique, but it was something everyone was asking for } ...Even failures make

good stories.  Wink

Yeah bitcoin gold already has quite the media coverage and it doesn't even exist yet hahaha. No blockchain or anything. So the length of time that it's been around is irrelevant.

It's fun to see some old coins on here. Feathercoin lol. Good old timers. Maybe worldcoin? I think that's one that I would suggest that I don't see on there. Maidsafecoin is another. Even utter failures should be on here  Wink. Real cryptos only though of course. No tokens. Oh and namecoin. They where trying to decentralize the internet some more so that made sense. It never panned out, but worth a mention.
422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: November fork Segwit2x - Advice on what to do on: November 04, 2017, 02:30:34 AM
Hold your Bitcoins in a paper wallet. Why you would ever consider anything else is beyond me.

Whatever you do, don't come bitching here if an exchange doesn't give you some coins. They have no obligation to. Just stay away from them for forks.
423  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-11-03] Bitcoin Futures and Tulip Bubble Crash on: November 03, 2017, 02:56:10 AM
Dipshits that compare a decentralized currency to a flower that you can actually make as many as you'd like are a joke. Like seriously, what a terrible comparison. I guess these half baked articles need to come up with some reason why bitcoins are bad and aren't worth $4000, $5000, $6000, $7000.

What's the supply of tulips? Oh. Infinite. What a terrible comparison. The problem is, people trying to compare such a new technology to something so ancient is just so irrelevant.
424  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin’s price rise go over $10,000 in early 2018? on: November 01, 2017, 11:05:58 PM
I would have said no, but honestly this year has been huge. Last year we where at +250% or something and this year we're already what, +600%-700%? This is absolutely possible to see another 33% gain in a year from this point. There could also be a 33% dip haha. I doubt that will happen at this point though.
425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Amazon, MicroSoft ,Apple, etc on: November 01, 2017, 11:02:50 PM
Yeah don't worry. People are catching on. Look at that price just freaking skyrocketing. We are going mainstream and people are investing huge amounts of money into bitcoin at this point. It's a great time to feel like you're an early investor and not a newbie!!!
426  Economy / Services / Re: [BitBlender] Signature Campaign - Seniors and up (CFNP) on: November 01, 2017, 11:00:26 PM
We will get paid once Lutpin comes online
Payments are rolling out once the escrow got refilled.

I swear bitblender was in that thread just a week or two ago, I remember seeing it on there for sure. Not sure why it was removed, the campaign has been running for a year or so with no issues.
56 weeks, little over a year right now.
Since we're CFNP for the last 3 months or even longer, it doesn't really matter whether the campaign is listed there or not.

Has it really been that long already!? Wow! Time flies. I think I was in a few weeks after the campaign started, or maybe I was right at the beginning. Either way I'm just thrilled to be part of this campaign.

I also wanted to mention that I'm sorry I wasn't able to be online the week before last. I hope me missing a week doesn't get me kicked out. I had something irl that I just had to do unfortunately.  I'm 99% sure you don't care about the details but if you need to know just send me a PM. I'd rather not post this in public.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 31, 2017, 12:16:32 AM
Meh idk, honestly probably not but if it does that's cool. At least my great great grandbabies will be well off haha! Nah but something better will come along within 100 years. Tech moves so quickly now.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government regulation of bitcoin on: October 29, 2017, 03:35:09 AM
Governments can attempt to regulate it and set rules in their country but the great thing is it's your choice to follow them or not. No one can force you to. I wish them good luck on their regulating of bitcoins haha.
429  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITTREX (How long we need to wait a case classified as a criminal?) on: October 29, 2017, 03:31:00 AM
What the hell is going on with bittrex? I didn't hear any of this until now. Holy crap this looks just awful. I need to check on my small balance and see if they disabled my account randomly. God I hope not.
430  Other / Off-topic / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: October 29, 2017, 03:23:59 AM
Using someone else's money is such a luxury. It's naive to think everyone would have that opportunity. Are these your guidelines to a bitcoin business? It seems far too generic. Use tech? Well obviously lol.
431  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sent BTC to bitmixer2 and it's been over 24 hours and still haven't forwarded on: October 29, 2017, 03:10:05 AM
1. Where did you hear about this mixer? 2. What where the reviews like? 3. What's your txid? Not much anyone can do without #3 even though sending that info out here would obviously spoil what you where trying to do with a mixer!
432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Hack Bitcoin - Let's Talk Real How its Done - Being Done on: October 29, 2017, 03:00:26 AM
Way easier ways have been found, which is basically to call up your phone's service provider, provide them with your information, get a new sum card, pop it in, pretend to be you and steal everything. Your bitcoins your contacts, absolutely everything that's worth anything will be compromised. This is way easier than a lot of what you described, and cell phone companies give this information away so easily it's a joke.
433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Does Government Affect The Price of Bitcoin if they Support it ? on: October 29, 2017, 02:48:10 AM
No one government can ever fully control anything. Look at the Chinese government for example. They banned ICOs yet after the dip and correction everything just continued on it's merry way. I wouldn't worry too much about it because in the end these will be small dips.
434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins lost?! on: October 29, 2017, 02:45:08 AM
Lol you get lots of freak out posts when the mempool has a backlog. It's time to read up on how bitcoin transactions are included in blocks in priority of the highest fee first OP. Google is your friend.
435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is bitcoin Gold ? How To Claim It ? on: October 29, 2017, 02:37:07 AM
I still can't for the life of me figure out if bitcoin gold even has a wallet. Does anyone actually know of one that's working so I can dump this shitcoin ASAP??? It has and will have no real use and no real value.
436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship between Bitcoin and The Moon on: October 29, 2017, 02:17:39 AM
I always  thought of 10,000 being the moon back in the day, but I think the whole idea is that the moon would be so far in the future and so hard to attain that it couldn't possibly be at 10k at this point. If you asked me back in 2015, I would have said 10k but now I'm thinking more like 50-100k.
437  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fees make me angry on: October 29, 2017, 02:15:59 AM
Lol maybe your 1 input should be for a bitcoin and not a fraction of a bitcent. Get more bitcoins and your problem will be gone. Wayyyy less than a 1% fee. It's not based off of the amount you send so posting the USD price is irrelevant. It's about the size of bytes your transaction is.
438  Economy / Speculation / Re: Difficulty jumps 21% on: October 29, 2017, 01:59:55 AM
It's a viscous cycle that's great for HODLERS. Price rise causes hash power to increase and hash power increase causes price to increase!

Lol. Which came first, the hash power or the price? Haha like what came first, the chicken or the egg? I don't think there's any way to figure out over time what would come first.
439  Economy / Economics / Re: If the powerful governments wanted to, do you think they could stop Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 03:13:39 AM
If every country really started cracking down, sure bitcoins would be put into a choke hold VUT that's not going to happen because so many cou tries fully support it. Even if bitcoins where a japan only currency, they would still hold huge value. Keep them no matter what happens in your county.
440  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware JAAC giftcards is a scam on: October 28, 2017, 03:11:41 AM
Could you just add this to the scam accusations board and fill out a proper form? It would get more exposure and DT2 members would red tag him if you can prove you where scammed. This would actually help everyone out a lot.
