441  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More regulation on crypto developers, altcoins and exchanges on: April 30, 2022, 05:04:47 AM
From what the article says, it's just stablecoins, and exchanges that allow spot trading of those. I actually think it's a good thing because it'll finally put some control over how backed USDT is, and what it's actually backed with. Perhaps this info won't be publicly available, but even if at least authorities will know, it's better than nothing. Overall, it seems it won't affect Bitcoin and most altcoins, apart from perhaps affecting some trading pairs because they include stablecoins. We'll see how it goes in practice, but I don't think it's anything bad.

Yeah I agree, this may probably put some mind at ease with usdt usage and lack of transparency, knowing the authorities are watchful of what they do will influence their operations.

And I think the idea of regulating altcoins is great, the rate at which new projects are pumping into the altcoins market is alarming, regulations will cut down so many shit being created on a daily basis. This should regulations should not be for the Americans alone, it should be for every country.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon and and how this "dude" could effect bitcoin in the future? on: April 30, 2022, 04:02:32 AM
You will agree Elon has really inspired many people to bitcoin his pro or against bitcoin tweet directly reflect the red and green candles on bitcoin charts.

With owning this huge platform of Twitter he can either break it or make it. I think.

Let if adopts "doge" as some kind of default crypto currency for Twitter it will be huge move and might effect bitcoin bigtime.

Or let say if come to sense and realizes the truth and embrace bitcoin I can't imagine how huge the green candle will be.

Elon Musk is a world class business man and for him to have that means he is smart and sensible, so the question of him coming back to his senses is pointless.  It has always been about power and control, with the acquisition of twitter it is very likely he will exercise that power, using the platform to promote dogecoin and probably talk down on btc like he always does.
I really won't expect anything less, I was really hoping Jack will not agree to his offer but I guess it is all about business at the end of the day.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who are the top crypto influencers on: April 29, 2022, 08:32:13 PM
This depends on individual preferences, am not too into influencers but I have 2 to 3 that I sometimes listen to and love hearing their views. Alex and Elliot imo are good in that aspect, especially Alex will tell investors as it is, most especially love the way jokes on cardano holders
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mines of Dalarnia (Metaverse) coin is nasty 75% today . on: April 29, 2022, 07:53:43 PM
Mines of dalarnia is a good metaverse project, I have known about it since last year, the devs are serious and committed to project development. Perhaps the pump was as a result of the mainnet launched on the 26th of this month couple with other important stuff related to the project. Just my guess because I don't find any other big news that causes such a huge pump.
445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins That Go Up When Whole Crypto Market Goes Down? on: April 28, 2022, 06:19:54 AM
Look at the biggest gainers in the last day.  Shiba tron and Baby Squid Game.

So do coins on pancakeswap just go up regardless of whether btc goes up or not?  I thought if btc drops big, literally the whole crypto market drops?  So these coins are not affected?

Usually there are events that will trigger such price movement, maybe you should have look deeper into the projects to see if there was a major news happening or about to happen.
Any token/coin pumping without any valid reason is pure manipulation and you should be very careful because if you are not smart enough to know when to sell you will be left with bags of shitcoin to hold.
Top gainer on cmc while the whole market is red, check why, it is that simple.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hoping to see a bitcointalk token sooner on: April 28, 2022, 03:54:54 AM
Not a bad idea but knowing how dedicated some members of this forum are towards btc I doubt something like that would ever happen. Although I wouldn't mind holding btt token to be honest, because I knew it will have great utility more than many nonsense we have in the market today. But you can only hope.  Wink
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Dogecoin become the new BTC? on: April 27, 2022, 08:49:50 PM
Is it possible that dogecoin can beat BTC after Elon musk takes over Twitter? Imagine if Dogecoin is well accepted throughout the world then BTC wouldn't this makes Dogecoin the new coin? This might sound too crazy to dream about but that Elon musk guy can make anything possible.

Elon is a wealthy and influential man so it is very obvious he will surely promote dogecoin since he claims it is the people's coin. That is as far as it can get, I don't see a meme coin taking over the number currency in the whole world. Sounds like a bad joke.
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Proving He’s not Satoshi- AGAIN on: April 27, 2022, 12:08:12 PM
He is more like a Town crier calling out to the whole world "hey people listen up, am satoshi blablabla" what a piece of work.
He can just accept the fact smart people don't trust his lying behind one bit, I guess the only people that will grant him audience is such channel. Craig time to grow up. Roll Eyes
449  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New York State Assembly passes ban on new BTC mines that don't use green power on: April 27, 2022, 11:55:56 AM
Couldn't agree more @bitmover, it is strange how the government have turned a blind eye to those companies that are not using green energy for their operations,  why aren't they place on ban or impose sanctions for not adhere to environmental law!
Clearly this is just a one sided law to put pressure on btc.
Government always expressing negativity towards btc anyway they can. Roll Eyes
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto profits on: April 26, 2022, 06:25:55 PM
Guys, how do you use your crypto profits? Well I started investing in crypto last year but still to earn that much profits. How about you all?

Are you looking for who to guide you on how to use your profit when you earn them!
Bro it is your profit so you can spend them however suits you, if you don't want to spend them all, you can reinvest half on the same project it you consider it to be worthy enough and do as you please with remaining half or you can decide to reinvest all, it is your choice.
Taking profit is not something bad so don't have to feel that way.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What did cause a massive pump for dogecoin? on: April 26, 2022, 05:45:09 PM
Yeah that dogecoin pumping and I was like what the hell! In the midst of so many red in the market and dogecoin manage to pump so much, and then I saw the news about Elon about to be the new CEO of twitter and I thought that must be the reason even though it shouldn't be enough reason to trigger a pump but that was the only big event happening at the time.
Well good for dogecoin holders, it must feel good to see your bag rising in the midst several red coins.  Smiley
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which launchpads are in crypto? on: April 26, 2022, 05:20:50 PM
There are several reputable launchpad out there with track record in the market so why would an investor leave those and use adlunam.cc?
I would rather stick with the reputable ones already in the market.
Some launchpad as a result of lack of active community are unable to raise the needed funds for their incubating projects which can be a problem especially when there are no well laid down refund policy. Between the subject of your topic is improper.
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unregulated Trading Platforms on: April 25, 2022, 03:47:26 AM
It seems you are left with no choice but to communicate with that group and attempt to negotiate for your Bitcoin. Other than that, you could report it to the authorities especially if it involves a huge amount, but it would probably take a lot of time and process that could all result to nothing.

You know, you're not the only newbie who got scammed. A number of us have our fair share of similar experiences. But rather than discourages us, it somehow makes us a tad wiser and become a reminder to others.

Appreciate the honesty, I have already reported to some authorities.  It just irks me that I searched for the company online and they had no bad info about them.  The scheme was pretty elaborate and the website is still up and running.

Perhaps rest of the investors haven't realized they are being scammed yet or they have a way to delete any bad info about them and keep only the paid good info as bait to lure innocent investors in.
Don't worry (law of karma will catch up with them soon) and don't let this discourage you, am sure some day you will get back what you lost through another genuine investment, this time try to invest through well known trading platforms, there are several with decent reputation. Good luck.
454  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Concern of illegal use of crypto on: April 25, 2022, 03:28:33 AM
What else is new! They should try and come up with something more related to recent advancement in the crypto space. Like Fiat is not use for the same reasons they are accuse crypto of (some people are Laundering fiat at present but they are more concerned about crypto). Even before crypto become a thing, money Laundering, terror financing and has always been a concern for the government, it didn't just start with crypto.
They should try a more suitable excuse.  Undecided
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telos: A killer EVM on: April 24, 2022, 07:56:30 AM
This is @OP's little fantasy and he was clearly happy to share it here but unfortunately the good members of the forum rain on his parade  Cheesy
Although it is important OP face reality to understand Telos don't have what it takes, i trust you have done enough research and most importantly,  you are not investing base on your little fantasy. Invest only because you see real potential not because Telos is EVM killer.
456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unregulated Trading Platforms on: April 24, 2022, 07:28:35 AM
I got scammed with the trading platform, not a recovery service.  Do you have a explorer you recommend?  I have the wallet addresses of the scammers

If I may ask if this trading platform is a dex or cex exchange?
Perhaps they have a way of communicating with them something like a customer service, I believe all trading platform should have this (except this was mainly designed to scam people).
It is sad to loss money to scammers, you have to learn from your experience and be more cautious next time. It is better to use well known trading platform.
457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Widespread adoption may result to lesser anonymity, one of my biggest fears. on: April 24, 2022, 07:09:45 AM
Isn't that what regulation is all about, and the reason why government of the world emphasise heavily on it, there is no way government will adopt btc fully without enforcing control. It has always been something the government dream about so doubt they will give that important part up.
I actually don't understand why you feel bothered about this since you are already dealing with exchanges and the likes at some point, it is similar, government won't care much about your assets except you give them a reason to.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrops never make money on: April 23, 2022, 05:14:50 AM
It's been more than 2 months since I joined the airdrop. and not a single token can make money. even though I have joined many airdrops. I joined the airdrop that was shared on twitter or the telegram channel and ended up in vain. I only got worthless tokens, dusting tokens, non-sellable NFTs, and what's worse there were several airdrops that required me to send a bnb for fee.

why is it so hard to earn money from airdrop now. as if being an airdrop hunter is a waste of time.

Lol, who ever told you that you would make reasonable money from airdrop? Yeah, I know there are few exceptions but that's when you are an investor or did something that made you worthy of receiving such airdrop.

In the case of uniswap and other similar airdrops you can see there where criteria for eligibility to the airdrop,  it wasn't for just anyone.

For you to earn money from airdrop, you must be ready to put some funds in action, either you an holder of a certain token or you have traded so and so amount otherwise don't expect free money just like that.
Gone where the days such airdrops happened.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUENGINE AND THE MODERN SCAM PART 1. on: April 23, 2022, 05:02:13 AM
Unfortunately this is no longer news, shady project owners sabotaging their own project and pretending it to be a hack to gain empathy from investors.
I came to know about youc through the campaign conducted here in the forum months back. it is disgusting when these scam devs will trick investors and robb them off their investments.
You should have sold when the price pump so hard some time ago, some alts are not worth holding.
460  Economy / Economics / Re: New currency underway in euro new plan get in to get super wealthy on: April 23, 2022, 04:17:16 AM
You always come up with funny ideas that are either ridiculous or not achievable. Who in their right mind will want a worthless stablecoin from an unknown human? You even want this for a small country, lol.
Incase you don't know stablecoins don't generate value except you plan to keep printing more to enrich yourself and be like the government you are so against.
