441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Burstcoin [BURST] Price Speculation on: January 23, 2017, 06:02:06 AM
Thought I'd revive this thread a bit, because there are some interesting things coming for BURST, which I think will make people very happy.

What does everyone think about BURST in 2017, I for one, though biased, am very positive Cheesy

There's a lot of uncertainity out there.

TAT/roadmap for db fix and mining algorithm change please.

What do you want?

I want the coin to improve. Asking for exactly what you quoted. Polo wallet is still disabled and there's a risk of this getting the axe in next delisting cycle. We either get improvement asap or this coin loses Poloniex. This is my way of contributing (other than my financial investment as a contribution) I believe a significant number of Qora holders are not satisfied with the speed of progress.

I've messaged polo two times, and given them step by step instructions and how to setup my jar file that I've had running on my debian server (same linux they use for theirs) for months without a single issue. I'm not sure why they are still in maintenance, but I'll be submitting another message to them shortly to get answers...

As far as the development... Doom is correct, it does take time... however... here is where we are right now...

The dev that I have asked to help with the db has fixed all the errors that I gave him in the logs that I had, though, when he went to attempt the upgrade of the db software itself, he found that it is a much more involved process than he had thought, which is what I was slightly worried about.

He doesn't work with java all the time, so there will need to be a few others brought in to assist with this...

However, I have a few other ideas as well, which would involve a pretty drastic change to QORA, and I'm going to be bringing this up to the developers to get their opinions...

What I'm thinking for now, is that we push the fixes that he made to the current db software version, and push out a new release, along with the web wallet, which is nearing completion and there are only a few things that need to be added, the web wallet will be pushed as an addon application, and will be offered for download along with the main core wallet files. I'm going to really push to get these two things done this upcoming week, with hopes that a new version release will help poloniex, even though I really think that they just haven't really put in much effort in resolving the problem, as like I said, I've had a debian server running for months without a single issue, I have no idea what they are doing...

So, I'm hoping we can get a new QORA version out within the next week or so, then I can have a comm with the devs, and either pull a small team together to work on the actual upgrade of the db, and/or work out the other idea that I have with regards to this, if they're interested in moving this direction. I personally think it would be MASSIVE for QORA, and that it is the most viable and best option, would also give QORA an extremely solid foundation, and open it up to MANY new features at the same time. Though it would definitely require some work, it would also be able to be done much quicker due to the amazing setup that is able to be used if moving towards this idea...

I can't get into any more specifics about this at the moment, but I will once I have gone over these options with the core people and figure out if they're in agreement.

As far as the algo goes... and the switch therein... I've gotten the approval from the devs with my suggestion of moving to BURST algo, I'm going to bring this up to the BURST devs, and also BURST community to see if this is something they would support as well. If so, I really think it would bring a MASSIVE network to QORA, and many more people. I think it is the easiest way to bring a HUGE network and community to QORA. I don't think it should be much work to do this.

I DO think though, that increasing the cap is something I would suggest for this type of switch, as if we do this without any real reward for the new miners, I don't think too many of them would be interested in the double use of their drives, without reward. So what @cryptonick mentioned a few pages back, about the cap of QORA never changing, I think is a bit misinformed, as I do think that increasing the cap would be something that would be necessary if we were to switch to a PoC algo.

The idea, is to merge-mine with BURST, giving miners two coins to mine simultaneously on their existing BURST plot files. This would mean that no miner would have to do anything aside from run another miner, pointed to a QORA pool, and start mining both coins at the same time.

Now, this would also open up a debate about the cap increase, and the new distribution of the increase cap coins... but I think that if it is done gradually, and planned out just right, it should not negatively affect the price of the coin whatsoever, and actually, I'm pretty sure the massive influx of people seeing what QORA is capable of, and the increase of the network to something extremely strong and stable, would be something that would actually INCREASE the price of QORA if anything.

There is obviously a bit of deciding to be done here, and I'm always up to people's input, so fire away!

I really think that the merge-mine idea is a way to totally rescue QORA in a very quick fashion, increasing the network and community by 500x basically overnight (or as soon as the BURST miners realize they can now mine two coins on the same plots, as I don't see many of them NOT taking this opportunity, especially once they realize all of the capability that QORA contains.)

Also, I've had something interesting put together for QORA, which will provide a platform that makes use of many open source tools, chats, etc, which I think would also help grow the QORA community. I'll be doing some finalization of these things in the next week or so, and then I'll provide this for everyone in QORA to make use of. This is a centralized service that I'm offering, but it will be something to give people an idea of what will be possible in the near future in a decentralized way, thanks to the capability in the platforms that I'm working with now, BURST, QORA, and another that I'm not going to mention for now, but people will begin to see it come into play here very soon. I'm VERY excited about everything that is going on right now, and I can see nothing but a solid future for all of the projects that I'm working on right now, and I'm very lucky and stoked to be in the position that I'm in, as I really think that the people I have around me, and the things that I'm working with, and on, are going to be a BIG part of the future of the internet, helping to decentralize not only our finances, but EVERYTHING, providing a totally SECURE, PRIVATE, and AWESOME way to do your daily dealings online.

We are bringing privacy back to the internet, we are bringing security back to the internet, and we are destroying the centralization of the internet. We welcome you to come with us on this journey.

Here's to 2017, I really think it's going to be a year to remember.

Thank you to everyone who has stuck around thus far, and I can't wait to unveil the next things to come. Be back with more information soon!

Join the QORA forums, and start putting up some suggestions or content, we need to start pulling together a solid community. QORA should no longer go unnoticed. http://forums.qora.tech

Thanks everyone. Talk soon.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE! on: January 23, 2017, 05:21:34 AM
I just noticed that the Burstaker asset has just paid it's dividends. It was a nice surprise to see the amount I received as it's normally low but this payout was great. Thanks Crowetic!

Anyone here who uses Bittrex to buy and sell Burst? I ask this because I am still waiting on a withdrawal that has been pending for over 5 hours now and it doesn't seem that the Bittrex Burst wallet is in maintenance. I have never had any issues in the past and my withdrawals are normally received in a few minutes but not this time. So just like to know if anyone else is having the same problem?

I use trex, and I did a withdrawal yesterday that worked quickly, I haven't done one today though.

Yea, I am working on beefing up BURSTaker. The payouts on ALL of my assets (with the exception of Dynamix2 until I find a new reason for that asset, as it was a takeover I did...) have been moved to weekly now.

Here is the current location for all asset payouts that I manage, with the exception of WorldMine and Dynamix2, which are done in their own threads... https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/1824/asset-payouts-crowetic-s-asset-payout-thread/57

Hello. Dear community!

Burst [BURST] is listed at Livecoin.net Exchange and available for trading.

So, we're asking you to add our Exchange in the official list of Exchanges where people can trade.

Welcome all traders. Thanks!

Livecoin.net added to OP. Thanks!

I like your exchange btw, we'll do some promotion for it and get more volume there shortly. Smiley

Really interesting this one http://forum.qora.tech:4567/topic/10/qora-decentralized-slack-style-chat-in-alpha

I'm going to check it often to see how its coming up. This one Qora app alone makes it so useful, and we have a lot more great apps Smiley

I read that clickbait article yesterday and found it boring and inconclusive. Seriously, u should find other sources of inspiration for urself, if u wish to keep on hyping a junky coin with neither utility nor substantial hashrate behind it.

Thank you for your slightly annoying opinion without any basis behind it.

Do you even realize that QORA isn't mined? (yet...)

I'm not sure what you're upset about (potentially that you have a project of something similar and haven't been able to get it to work? not sure...) but I hope your day gets better. Smiley

We added a new game to our arcade website that accepts BURST (and, of course, Bitcoin):

Send your BURST (or BTC) to the wheel and spin to win!

Go to https://bitcoin-arcade.com and click on the wheel game icon at the top of the page.
You can pick BURST from the "Currency:" drop-down menu.

By the way, is there a TrueType font for the BURST symbol like there is for BTC? The way the BTC font works is "B" becomes the Bitcoin currency symbol and "T" and "C" are zero-width so if the font doesn't load the browser still shows "BTC". Anyone with font-making knowledge on here?

Great to have you back cat!!

To all who don't know cat, he's the one who coded the ninja pool code, and he's a great guy and FANTASTIC coder, I wholeheartedly support ALL of his endeavors!

I have never had anything bad to say about the assets crowetic runs as they have all been paying out without any issues, some for over a year. You have always make the right steps to make the asset even better then before and as I am a large holder of Burstaker assets I am pleased to see you made the decision to change and get other POS coins and also by adding mining to this asset. I own a piece of all the assets you run and I think you are doing a great job with them all and it will be even better once you change over to weekly dividends instead of monthly. Anyway people who purchased ByteEnt assets back when they were released have already made a nice profit. Assets in my opinion are for the long term and that's how I am looking at them. Keep up the good work crowetic!

Thank you, I will always do my best.

I added a bit more to my post above, which didn't get caught in your quote, so I edited that out. Also, it was going to get very long if many people keep quoting it...

What I see here is an analysis without all of the FACTS, based on things that aren't even fully true... so I just wanted to point out many things that he had missed in his analysis...

Yes, I will ALWAYS modify the assets if I feel like they will not be sustainable with a solid return in their current form, and with the new statistics sites I'm having done for individual assets, combined with the new Asset/Block explorer, there will be more stats, charts, etc, to allow for people looking to purchase assets, more information to make their decisions.

Also, to answer his initial question, I have plans to release QUITE A FEW MORE assets Smiley All of which will sustain an APR higher than any other 'traditional' investment, and will adapt when necessary to ensure this is able to continue.

Thanks again to all of the long-time BURST supporters, and those who support my assets in particular, I will continue to do my best and make everyone decent profits!

Another thing, You're absolutely correct in thinking that assets are LONG TERM, and mine in particular are built with that in mind... and... BURST will always be able to be MINED, so mining assets will always have longevity. There are a few things there that will be modified in the near future that will help with that as well, but like I said, I will always modify the assets if I see that things aren't going exactly as I planned.

I'm not able to predict the future, but I will keep things going for a very long period of time no matter what happens.

Also, if an asset IS doomed, and there's nothing I can do, there WILL be a buyback placed... but IMO it's better to ADAPT them and OVERCOME, as opposed to GIVING UP and calling it quits, so that is what I choose to do.

I've got many new investors coming on board, partnerships, new assets coming that will have longevity, and new additions to many parts of BURST. Things that will make use of BURST as a platform, as a coin, and new things to take advantage of the WORLD FIRSTS that BURST has accomplished, including ATOMIC CROSS CHAIN TRANSFER, DECENTRALIZED AUTOMATED LOTTERIES, AND WORLD'D FIRST SMART CONTRACTS OF ALL KINDS, (KEEP IN MIND WE BEAT ETHERIUM TO SMART CONTRACTS BY OVER A YEAR, AND NONE OF OUR CONTRACTS HAVE EVER BEEN HACKED OR EXPLOITED ((I.E. THE DAO))

Thanks again for your support, and I look forward to a long-term relationship with all of my investors, partners, and BURST community members, and I will make everyone a promise, that I will NOT let you down! Smiley

Here's to an amazing 2017 and beyond for BURST and related projects! There's quite a lot of new and exciting stuff to come, stay tuned!
448  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE! on: January 13, 2017, 04:59:20 AM
How many more assets are you planning to release Crowetic?

It doesn’t make sense imho to keep releasing one asset after another without actually looking at whether the assets that you have released in the past are actually benefiting the asset holders (apart from the usual I am gonna pay out a bonus BS). It would be nice if you could actually take a step back and publish some sort "financial details", so far your main selling point seems to be "trust me I am crowetic, invest with confidence"
I am sorry to break it to you but many people myself included are in crypto because of the decentralised and trustless nature of it.

I took a quick look at few of the assets you run and it wasn’t a pretty sight so I am quite intrigued to find out what gives you such a high level of confidence in that you are a “ successful asset” owner and operator.

Byteent: the most that you can return to investors over the next 10-12 years is 2,410,803 burstcoins (based on a pool fee of 2% and 25% of the network) and the current market cap of the asset is 70,000,000 burstcoins

Bsilver: is beyond dishonest in my opinion, it currently has a market cap of 100,000,000 burstcoins, you are telling your investors that they can claim 1000 assets for 1oz of silver, using the current prices that works out to be around 100*1000*0.00000058 * $905 (coindesk BPI) = $52
1oz of XAG with 20% premium currently costs  $20

The other thing that bewilders me about this asset is that every sane and insane person in crypto expects that bitcoin, burstcoin et al will outperform all precious metals and more so when you are valuing your silver at $52 given that the all time high was actually less than $50, isn’t that funny

Burstaker: has a market cap of around 60,000,000 burstcoins, this asset is quite astonishing for mainly 2 reasons, the first one is actually the quality of the coins you chose to stake, Viral and DMD, both coins have been on the bittrex removal list quite few times, they have negligible amounts of volume on average. And secondly who in their right mind would sell burstcoin for those two. The cynic in me tells me that you were bagholding both and you couldn’t sell so you decided to dump your dead bags for an asset and take the more liquid burstcoin from a trusting community.

I won’t get into your worldmine asset as I want to give you the benefit of the doubt

There are other sorts of behaviour that I think are quite dishonest too, trading your own assets and also transferring quite big amounts to people without actually going through the asset exchange nor announcing the sales on forums for the sake of transparency, never talking about actually how you would go about liquidating these assets and what % of burstcoins will go back to the asset holders, how much of the assets' burstcoins you have sold, and what price  and not adhering to Haich's list of asset issuance requirements .....etc

I believe that you have done quite a lot for burstcoin and I am pretty sure that you have done quite well with it too

I like the idea of the asset exchange but I honestly believe that it is in a huge bubble and ultimately the bubble will burst (no pun intended) and when it does it will be the small shareholders who will suffer the most and my fear is that burstcoin will suffer as a result of that just like what happened with dogecoin and Moolah aka Ryan Kennedy.

Unfortunately the exponential rise in price in september has attracted a lot of bad characters so my humble advice to my fellow burstcoin holders is do your due diligence, don’t get caught in the hype. Invest your burstcoin in projects that bring added value to the coin and there are few good examples such as burstize and burst casino and few others.

Best of luck to you all and happy new year

I am very interested in your review on worldmine , looking forward to it soon

Thank you for your opinions. But I'm definitely going to have to say you're incorrect here... and yes, as a matter of fact, there are multiple sites in development right now, which are nearing completion, that will give multiple statistics on EVERY asset, not just my own.

I don't think that I'm merely saying trust me for trust's sake... I've shown throughout MANY years, and long-running assets, that I'm able to not only adapt, but keep the assets running for a long period of time, both proving that they are WORTHY investments, and that I'm TRUE to my word...

As far as your opinions of the assets that are out there now... let me tell you a few things...

1. Your numbers seem a bit off on ByteEnt, but regardless, I will be adding different forms of wealth generation to that asset in the near future, as (if you've read my posts during payouts, you'd have seen...) I am not happy with the payouts currently.

2. BSILVER, if you've read ANY of my updates on it... has an amount of asset for the trade-in that is constantly changing, in order to keep the price of silver in line with the prices of everything else, and will eventually provide a gateway that is cheaper to get silver only possible through BURST. Also, the first trade-in has already been done, and the person who received it is VERY happy. Though, after the trade-in I realized that the way the trade-in price is calculated needed some work, thus I'm making that part of the site that will be released, and will auto-calculate based on a few new factors, including liquidity, and I will also be providing liquidity on the market itself. Also... if you've noticed, BSILVER has consistently been one of the highest paying assets on the exchange, and you're more than welcome to check out the mining address (currently mining Zcash here... http://zcash.flypool.org/miners/t1JToQdG1GrS1S24Qj3DkQBd4EWDCm7d1YE along with multiple BURST miners on http://pool.burstmining.club which are clearly named.)

So, even if you DONT take advantage of the trade-in program, you're collecting a quite nice return for holding the asset, which is backed by mining OUTSIDE and INSIDE of BURST, to take advantage in both periods of LOW and HIGH prices of the coin.

3. BURSTaker - if you noticed, not that long ago, and in the BURST forums also... I posted a massive addition that I'm making to this asset, in the form of GPUs that will be 15 or equivalent AMD 480s. I am doing this because I agree, the staking of the coins that I originally started with are no longer doing what I had wanted, and it is time for a change on what backs the asset. Also, if you'll notice, I posted that I would be changing the coins that are backing the asset in terms of the staking coins, to OKcash and a few others. So I'm feeling that your argument is a bit null on this point... though feel free to provide a rebuttal here.

You are free to ask me any questions as far as any of the transfers that I've done, and ALL of my trades are done on MY accounts, so anyone is able to check them out. I am having a truly amazing asset explorer built so that this will be more simple, which is one of the sites that I mentioned above... in fact, I think I'll just show you so that you don't try to call BS on the development too... I wanted to have this hit with a bit more of a splash, and I think that it still will when I 'officially' release it, and hopefully this post will basically go un-noticed as I'm not using any of my 'announcement flare' but here... enjoy!   http://192.111.150.247/asset/1800253871016293364

As far as the 'bubble' comment... I suppose that's one way to look at it... another is... that there will be many modifications done to assets that would like to be long-term, ALL of mine included, and they will 'keep up with the times' and shift based on what the needs are of the current climate.

This is what I will do, have done, and will always do, with any asset that I release... as I've already shown in multiple years of running successful assets...

I appreciate the comment about what I've done for BURST, and I'm happy to say, 'you ain't seen nothin' yet!' and yes, I'm still VERY happy with what is planned for 2017, and I think ALL BURST investors will be as well.

Anyone is always free to have their opinions of me, my assets, etc, but I think having ALL of the facts would help. So, here you are...

Thanks again for your comments.

Oh yea, another thing, you're off on all of your marketcap calculations as well... as ALL of the assets have NOT released more than 80% MAX of the total supply, and the ISSUER account does NOT get paid out. So you cannot calculate ANY assets that have not been released into the market cap calculations.

I will ALWAYS modify my assets to keep up with what needs to happen to keep them paying out the APR that I deem fit for them.

-[ANNouncement]- New QORA site, and more!

We're doing some things with the QORA website, we've taken it into our own hands, and put it on my cluster, also added a few links at the top including one to the QORAnet that will be added shortly.

We've added a few other things as well, but overall we really love the QORA site, so we didn't want to change the whole thing.

There is much more coming for QORA, just getting started.

I agree that a lot of work needs to be done, but we've got the team to handle it, and I'm bringing in more and more people to help each day.

If you're interested in helping, please post in the forums, and let us know...

I would like to see some suggestions on new forum categories, and some things like that...

The next thing I'm also going to do, is put up some bounties for QORA media. Some contests for graphics, etc...

Here's the new site, I've also gotten control over the qora.org domain, so I'll be making that forward to this one for now, while we're making changes, then we'll go from there.

We're setting up new forms of communication as well, so stay tuned.

-[ANNouncement]- QORA forum up, looking for potential content creators, and moderators.

Hello, here with a quick update and post about the new forum for QORA we've created. Apologies for the delay, the weather in my part of the US has been really crazy, potential floods and all kinds of stuff, but I'm back on track now with my hardware back in the office, and I come to bring you...

QORA forum!

I hope this will be a nice place for people to gather and get updates, information, and talk about QORA...

Now, we're looking for category ideas, topics, content and media related to QORA...

We will be pushing out some QORA media related contests on the forum, and I'll be reaching out to the BURST community to get users for the forum as well.

Also, tomorrow I'll be talking with the person I put in control of the QORA twitter, and getting the social media active again. I agree that even if the development isn't fully done, maybe we should be telling people the long-term plans.

I also hope that the forums will provide a place to find the information necessary for QORA and discuss everything.

please sign up!

Hello everyone, sorry for my absense, there was a potential flood in my area, and I had to move a ton of my hardware out of my office, then back in when the flood warnings went away.

But yea, I'm back, I'll be getting things moving with the social media as I've appointed one of my team members to this but I haven't given the word to post anything just yet.

The db issue is being resolved, the dev has now finished fixing all bugs with the current db, and is trying to see if there is a reason to update to the new version or not now that the errors have been fixed, he said he wasn't able to reproduce any of the issues once he did his fixes.

Gonna catch up on the thread here and respond to any questions. Don't worry, once the db issue is resolved THEN we'll push promotion, pushing promotion now doesn't make sense, as I don't want people to come into a coin with issues and immediately discount it.

there is a method to my madness here I promise.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: January 04, 2017, 04:43:57 AM
Is what can be seen when clicking "social network" on the main page of the Qora website already decentralized?

Yes, all data is fetched from blockchain.

Yes, QORA has not only totally decentralized social network, but also a decentralized version of a slack-style chat platform in development, which is released in alpha stages and can be seen through any qora node at http://qora.host:9090/quothprototype

Not only that, but QORA can host websites decentralized. It has a built in blog system that makes creating a blog VERY simple, and ALL of this is totally decentralized, making it impossible to take the websites down.

As far as the promotional things, I have given control of the social media to a trusted partner, and he will be taking care of that from now on. At the moment I'm working out a few things, the dev is working on the db upgrade, there was a bit of a delay due to some things in his personal life, but he's back on it now.

Also, the holidays slowed things down a bit.

But don't worry, the db is the main thing keeping things a bit more 'quiet' at this point, I would like to make sure that QORA is extremely SOLID before pushing any big promotions. So just hold on, and things will be getting a lot more lively shortly.

As far as volume, I don't think delisting is in the future for QORA, especially once the next few things I've been working on get completed, the holidays delayed me as well, and some issues with one of my hypervisors in one of my data centers, but I've resolved that, and am catching up from the period of being behind due to the holidays.

As far as QORA changing algo, right now the focus is getting the db fixed, once this has been completed I will speak to the developers about the different options we have as far as the algo change. But I can say that one of the options would be to merge-mine with BURST.

I'm thinking that would be a great option, as BURST has a VERY solid network with over 4000+ active miners, and 2500+ full nodes... I think merge-mining with BURST would definitely get QORA's network in top shape.

But I'm also hoping to have a few more features to tie in that would work well with the decentralized hosting that QORA has. We're talking about those options as well.

The new QORA web wallet is in final stages as well, and we're now talking about the best way to make it work, and doing the final implementations of things. It turned out being a bit more difficult than originally thought, because the developer had to learn a lot about QORA, but it is great that he did, as he can now do more for QORA in the future, meaning QORA now  has one more talented dev capable of adding features.

Things are moving along nicely, albeit a little quiet at the moment, and I have no one to blame but myself for that, so yea, I do apologize for not posting more often, I usually like to post when I have more things to show people.

So yea... I will be back soon with some more stuff to show, and hopefully a great place for the new QORA community to come and chat and make threads and such. Feel free to give your opinion on the option of merge-mining BURST and QORA, as we're considering that as one of the top options right now on the algo change planned.

I don't want anyone getting the idea that no work is being done right now simply because I'm not in here posting every day. Nothing is further from the truth, there is quite a lot going on, and I am excited to come in shortly with many things to show everyone.

Thank you all for your continued support, and here's to a great 2017 for our favorite under-valued high-tech custom-coded blockchain-based tech platform and cryptocurrency (with the coolest name!) Wink QORA!

"This asset is basically a test, to test the waters of the BURST Asset Exchange, and verify that a larger operation would be viable."

Why would this be a "test" of the Asset Exchange for a larger operation?

Have only briefly dabbled on the AE, but it has already been successfully going.  Just confused at to what this is testing?

Thanks.

Hello and thank you for the question, which I should have noticed was the 'obvious question'. Smiley

Basically, we're going to be testing out various possibilities within the BURST ecosystem, to build many new projects that will either use the system for management, or use it for front end.

The investors into this, are going to see now my ideas for using the BURST Asset Exchange to manage a decent sized Mining operation.

The next thing we'll likely get into is the testing of the Marketplace.

But yes, there will likely be a much larger operation being built with some similar ideas to this, trying to determine if using the AE fully or partially is possible, along with many other things.

All of this will benefit BURST by bringing in more people, and making available more services, etc. It is a very nice thing to see, and I've been working for many months on this test contract, and there are many others planned.

Here's to the future of BURST Smiley

-[ANNouncement]- WorldMine asset release!

Hello everyone, today I'm here with a very exciting announcement, the release of the WorldMine asset!

This asset is the beginning of a relationship with some new partners of mine, which could end up bringing quite a bit more
to the world of BURST!

This asset is basically a test, to test the waters of the BURST Asset Exchange, and verify that a larger operation would
be viable.

This could mean a very large partnership for BURST, that would bring in many more users, services, and assets!

Description -

This asset is a mining asset, of which the farm is already 90% complete. The hardware is already up and running.
The asset is comprised of GPU miners, and some HDD mining power. The farm is mostly GPU focused, as to bring value
to BURST, by mining other coins, selling them, and purchasing BURST to payout asset holders. This is a test farm and
test asset, to verify the viability of the BURST system for future projects, ones that will be much larger.

The hardware that is currently running is...

17 - AMD 480 GPU (with a few more being setup shortly)
7 with a total of 12 (remaining 5 to be setup today) - AMD 370 GPU
56TB with another 40+TB being added shortly (will post final amounts when complete) - HDD mining for BURST

Related info -

The asset will start with WEEKLY PAYOUTS, starting on the second friday after the release (Friday the 13th in this case... lol.), and continuing every Friday.

The asset will pay out indefinitely, as long as it runs, and crowetic will be managing and running the farm, so this
means it will run for a very long time. All previous assets that crowetic has launched, have run indefinitely. This will
continue. The farm will run 24/7 barring hardware issues or downtime. The investor that started the farm will hold 65% of
the asset, and crowetic will hold 10% for management and other necessary fees for running the operation.

The investors into the asset will not be paying for running costs, that will come from the owner's portion.
If the farm needs to be upgraded to keep up with new hardware, etc, the upgrades will be planned and announced ahead of time.

Information regarding the farm will be consistently updated, and a statistics page is being created to monitor the asset.
For now, the mining pool information for the miners will be posted, as well as pictures of the equipment, to prove the farm.

When the statistics page is finished completely, there will be a 24/7 video surveillance stream able to be viewed by
anyone. In case people would actually like to SEE the hardware mining. Currently the hardware is running in a temporary
location, while the final location is secured, so video will not be posted until the final location is secured.

Mining info / Pictures -

The mining related information will always be accessible to asset owners, and/or anyone wishing to see the hardware.
The hardware information can be found here for now, with some pictures of the miners, etc...

Picture link - https://cloud.hearwe.chat/index.php/s/33snPN57dty9A2x

Everything isn't in its final setup location yet, so the cable management, and making everything look perfect, etc.
has not been done yet, once everything is moved to the final location, the rack (you can see in one of the pictures
which was taken at the previous location that ended up not working out, during build process there) will be
filled with GPUs, and will be lighted up with blue LED lights, after all cable management, etc has been done.

Due to the first location not working out, the build had to be re-done a total of 3 times, which caused me delays,
so I figured instead of continuing to wait while finishing everything up, moving to final location, and making
the build look as beautiful as it will, I got everything running now in a temporary location, and decided to
release the asset and give everyone a chance to get in on this!

I can't wait to show what it will look like upon being finalized, it is going to be absolutely beautiful.

Mining pool monitoring links -

(These links are where the rigs are currently mining, I will update them if that changes as GPU mining is
a fast-paced game in which you always must stay on top of it!) The statistics page that is in development
will contain pictures, videos, and miner information for everything and where it is currently mining, etc.

(currently GPUs are mining Zcash, but will be switching them over to XMR most likely, as my other miners seem to be giving better returns on XMR
at the moment...)

Zcash mining pool - http://zcash.flypool.org/miners/t1Q3LaiSHTArz2DicBwRGjXC1jLU37H4fVc

BURST rig on burst.ninja - http://burst.ninja with name 'WorldMiner 1'.

ASSET INFO

100% of the total farm is 1 million assets. 25% of the farm will be what is released to the public. There will be no fees, and solid returns for investors, the fees for running the farm will come from the farm owner, this makes it a solid investment for the people buying the asset.

Also keep in mind that sometimes there are spikes in GPU mining coins, such as the release of Zcash. At these times, the extra coin mined, will go right to the asset! So this is essentially like owning your own farm without any of the hassle!

Asset ID - 11783342878931880450

Total Assets - 1M

Release Structure -

25% of the 1M available assets will be sold to the public. The rest will be held by the owners of the operation.
The farm will be built and managed by crowetic and his personal team. Payouts will be managed by crowetic.

50k shares at 90 BURST/each - Starting today (initial investors get lowest priced shares!)
75k shares at 95 BURST/each - Starting after first is sold out
75k shares at 100 BURST/each - Starting once second is sold out, or no later than Jan 15th even if others aren't sold.
50k shares at 105 BURST/each - Starting once 3rd is sold out, or no later than Jan 30th even if others aren't sold.

BTC purchase is available, if interested in purchasing with BTC, please contact crowetic. Must give enough notice if shares are running low.

Get in to a great operation at the ground floor, while at the same time helping to further a large relationship with BURST and a newpartnership! Don't worry about paying fees for running your own miners, grab some of WorldMine asset, and collect dividends without the hassle! Don't worry about managing your own hardware, let us do that, you simply reap the rewards. Smiley Thank you and enjoy!

Many more features will be added to this asset, via a convenient web interface. Thank you for supporting this asset and project, and here's to a GREAT 2017 for BURST and related projects!

Just getting a feeler out there bought some RX 480's couple weeks ago I like them but want to get some extra money for Christmas shopping also have the R9 390 for a couple of months have the 3 year overclock warranty but that really doesn't matter to most unless you are planning on messing with the bios and such and trying to push it. Wink

So just getting a feeler out there. Also am looking sultan selling computers built to your specs brand new if interested post what your looking at getting on here or PM me I'm sure I can beat most prices o and yes I'm excepting BTC. Smiley Also escrow is always excepted at buyers expense and shipping international is welcomed I'm in the US but I take no responsibility for any misshapen when in transport.

I haven't had any problems shipping international if you look at my feedback but you never know what could happen.

What are you looking for on the 480s? I would pick them all up if the price is good... I'm located in the US.

@crowetic: how did you choose the coins to stake for BURSTaker Assets, because there are some unpopular coins (e.g. DMD) beyond it? If you write OKcoin you mean OKCash (which IMHO ist the most promising of the staked coins).

Greetz and thanks for your good work and efforts Smiley

I picked them a long while back when I started the asset, I had my reasons at the time for doing it, but now, yea, this is why I am switching coins, and adding a bunch of mining power. But I'm not really 'switching' coins, as adding more coins to the repertoire.

Assets must grow with the times, BURSTaker did well when first started, but now it's time to tweak it a bit.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] -NEW BURST OP- MINE ANY FREE SPACE-(HDD MINING)- ATs, AE, P2P MARKET+MORE! on: December 29, 2016, 09:24:42 AM
-[ANNouncement]- BURSTaker asset significantly increased in power - GPU mining being added!

That's right folks, since staking hasn't been going nearly as well as I'd planned, even with 8 dual staking DMD accounts... I've decided to give the asset a significant boost in power Cheesy

The plan is this...

I'm going to purchase as many GPUs as I can with about 4k USD and/or 5BTC. I've already got the other hardware needed, I may need a PSU or two, but for the most part since I've been building multiple farms anyway, I've ordered other hardware, and already have quite a bit of what I will need to accomplish this goal.

So I would say I should be able to add a significant amount of GPU mining power to this asset. This should significantly increase the asset's value, and returns.

My guess would be at least 15 480 GPUs should be able to be purchased (or equivalent), if not more. Will post information on exactly what I was able to acquire once I know for sure.

I'm going to do my best to find the parts as cheap as possible, so it will take about 2 weeks or so for me to acquire the parts, and get them mining towards the asset. Give or take shipping times. Will update when more information is solid.

But every BURSTaker holder should be quite pleased by this addition.

on top of this, I'm going to rework the staking coins that will be backing the asset, I'll be adding OKcoin, and most likely CLAMS.

What I said before about not selling BURST that is made during the release of BURSTaker at 85 still stands. So that will help keep that BURST off the market as well.

Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated on the status, but expect significantly increased payouts from BURSTaker in the near future.

Another idea I was thinking about is making BURSTaker have is to make it weekly payouts once I have the cards up and running.

So, here's the information...

Asset ID - 15208279992621279224

Asset info - 15k DMD coins, all but 5k in dual-stake-rate accounts, adding XQN, OKcoin, and most likely CLAMS to the staking repetoire, and I'll post about the amounts when everything is finalized.

Also now adding at least 15 480 graphics cards (or equivalent) mining for the asset. Will post pictures for everyone once everything starts arriving, will be putting everything together in the next few weeks.

It will take a little time to make these changes, but this is what is going to happen. So get your BURSTaker now in preparation for this massive increase!

ENJOY the enhancements to BURSTaker!

Do you have skype, we should talk because we'll be two of the biggest miners around.

I believe my skype is in my profile here, but it's the same username I use everywhere Wink

I have a lot more mining than people are aware of right now, things I've been building for the near future to announce.

Always glad to have more mining enthusiasts on my friends list. Shoot me a request!

Can someone recommend an asset that has had a long history worth looking into? I'm worried about losing my Burst if one I pick turns out to be a scam.

This page is updated every few minutes and gives some good details on assets.  Not to say all listed are 100% "safe", so please do some further research.  If one catches your eye, double check it on the Burst forums for more details on the asset/asset issuer.  And, you can always post about a specific one to see what others think.

http://util.burst-team.us:8888/asset

Thanks. I guess Burst's official's forum definitely has way more info this, I'll have to do my own research.

ByteEnt is the longest running asset, has been running since basically right after BURST started, monthly payouts have NEVER been missed.

I'm a bit biased since I started the asset with a friend a while back, and still run it, but yea...

Also, I'll be biased again and recommend BURSTaker which will get a lot more mining power here shortly, I'm holding out until the BTC top-off then selling some to purchase the hardware necessary.

I won't continue to ramble on about my own assets, here are a few good ones that I trust and guarantee aren't scams...

If u think burst can hold this price level u need a medical treatment. Seriously theres no point to be excited about burst unless u know something I dont about idiots and morons that back it up or give the impression that they back it up.

Looks like someone is upset that they didn't get into BURST, trying to troll the price into going down lower. By all means. Push the price down so we can get more investors in at lower prices.

There are cetainly things you may not know, as I'm sure you're simply coming in here being a troll, and you've never actually done any research on the platform.

Welcome to BURST Wink Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
