441  Economy / Speculation / Re: Difficulty jumps 21% on: October 28, 2017, 03:09:39 AM
Christ what a huge spike. Hopefully the price adjusts along with this and we can all make bank.

I don't think the hashing power lines up with the amount of people that left BCH. There's got to be another explanation. Idk what though.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: October 28, 2017, 03:03:03 AM
I don't get too hung up on it, but newbie investors just can't wrap their head around it. They're only investing to get more shitty worthless fiat. Oh well. They'll be pissed when they sell right before we go parabolic. This is only the beginning.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: They are the silent majority. on: October 28, 2017, 03:00:28 AM
What the fuck? Who do you think you are to go around begging people for money? They don't owe you anything. Stop being a self - entitled whiner about it and go get a job to help your own family out. What a world we live in. Whine that you didn't get a handout. Go do what you need to do to get the surgery for your sister. Begging has and always will get you nowhere.
444  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What to do with 1 Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 02:55:46 AM
Buy a used car. Nothing fancy, just like a 2012 Honda civic or something reliable.

Go get it wrapped with something to advertise for. The more they pay the better.

Drive around town and collect the cash every time you do.

There you go, you are making an income and you have a car from it. Not even bad.
445  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: October 28, 2017, 02:52:54 AM
Do they even have a wallet yet??? I feel like this is the sloppiness shitstorm that has ever hit the crypto community. There's a hard fork then no wallet, no Explorer, no way to even see they actually exist at this point. Oh and try pre-mined it! Wtf!? Just no. It's just such a shitcoin it's unbelievable. It's 100% worthless, if it does exist which I honestly can't even prove at this point.
446  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Suggest idea for the domain "FreeGiveaway.org" on: October 28, 2017, 02:50:28 AM
You could give away 1 free bitcoin every day. That would get lots of hits to your website!!!

1. Give out 1 bitcoin a day
2. People will come
3. Huh
4. PROFIT!!!
447  Economy / Economics / Re: Do ICO's need KYC and AML checks or will that kill innovation? on: October 28, 2017, 02:48:20 AM
In certain countries that's already becoming the norm. I think the huge ICO craze is what ended up changing everything. Without that, we'd still see these unregulated ICOs coming out all the time (which yeah, we still do see, but it would be even more so). Any country's government is going to want to tax these. It's just that simple.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How can you avoid to be scammed by hyip investment of bitcoins? on: October 28, 2017, 02:45:59 AM
Um, they're all a scam? I thought that was pretty obvious. Also ponzis are a scam. Do we really need to spell these things out this day and age? Don't hand over your money to other people. You don't need to.
449  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STOLEN MY ETH AND OTHER TOKEN FROM MY CAMPAIGN on: October 27, 2017, 03:00:35 AM
You didn't copy your private key, you pasted your private key in some random form. I'm not sure how many lol suffice for this one. legally there is nothing you could do about it. because you gave your private key willingly. why did you keep sending your tokens to the same address if he was stealing them every time?
That's all I can not understand. He knew that his accident had given his private key and why he was using it. It knows someone has access to a Wallet. Why not make a new wallet? You have nothing to do and you can not undo your tokens. All you have to do is create a new wallet

Ok good, I thought I was missing something here.

OP you gave someone your private key and they took your money? No shit. That's exactly what anyone would have done. If you see
A $100 bill on the ground are you going to pick it up or keep walking to watch someone else pick it up?

Then to top it off you keep using this address!?!? Holy shit welcome to cryptoland. Maybe do a quick google on how these things work rather than investing fiat and doing literally everything wrong.
450  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why I hate BITCOIN on: October 27, 2017, 02:53:53 AM
Okay so your only reason to invest in anything is to earn more fiat. That's your first problem. You're trying to earn more magic government money when it's literally worthless. Why? Just enjoy the higher buying power and don't worry how much monopoly money you can trade it in for.

Now in terms of altcoins, good luck. Guessing which 1 out of 50 will do well is too big of a risk for me.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token? on: October 27, 2017, 02:50:30 AM
Tokens are useless pieces of shit made out of thin air that aren't even mined. To call bitcoin a token is like calling your Chickie cheese tokens money. It's so uneducated and dumb not to mention wrong!
452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X:Users care which side wins? Or do they? on: October 27, 2017, 02:48:11 AM
I have been observing social media polls and saw how high the number of people who haven't picked a side in this debate or who just don't think its important. I am interested if finding out whether it is important to have a position or not?

USERS do not have a say in this.

MINERS have a say.

Now, is it important to have a position on a matter (as a user) that you do not have a say in?

I think the answer is yes......

Users absolutely have a say in it. If nobody changes their client, current bitcoin nodes won't accept the new blocks.

Lol okay sure. But honestly how would that ever be measured? Number if downloads? It doesn't seem realistic to gdt an accurate number of people using any wallet.
453  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the predominant one among forks? on: October 27, 2017, 02:41:52 AM
It is the community, and consequently the market, who decides which chain is "Bitcoin" and which is the most valuable. But the Segwit2x/btc1 supporters are arguing that the chain with the most hash rate is the real "Bitcoin".

But we will see on November. I believe Segwit2x will be Bitcoin's biggest ordeal.

what if 50/50? which one is BTC
In this extremely unlikely scenario I feel like the legacy chain would still be considered the real bitcoin and therefore be given the BTC ticker. Simply because it is the eldest and has the core team behind it. You're going to need at least 99.9% of support before even thinking about getting the BTC ticker for a forked version of bitcoin.

Yeah exactly. I don't think it necessarily needs to be the core team in charge of the main chain but they have done okay so far. Decisions just need to be made 10x quicker.

Hopefully once we fork a few times all of those idiots drop out of the bitcoin community.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin regaining dominance. on: October 21, 2017, 02:56:39 AM
Regaining dominance just shows that bitcoins are number one for a reason, and every other altcoin is just going to pump up to heights it cannot sustain. I'm all for investing in risky ventures but at some point you just need to pick a team and stick with it.
455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 01:54:30 AM
You don't need to trust a bank with your assets. You just need to trust the system that you store them on (but even then technically you don't. Just use a Linux Live USB).

You will own a currency with a hard coded finite supply. No one person or government can change this ever. Only if everyone agreed on it, which no one would.

You can actually understand how your money works and how your money is created for once.

456  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bittrex / Locking up my money and Isn't answering me on: October 21, 2017, 01:44:19 AM
Lol why is your account under review? I think you and I both know the answer to that don't we  Smiley you don't just go under review because everything is normal and great.
457  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Bitcoin Only Exclusive Items on: October 21, 2017, 01:41:38 AM
If you accept ripple you're going to accept fiat. It's the same thing but one is more volatile.

Eth isn't a currency. The sooner people realize that the better. Doesn't affect me in any way. I don't invest in infinite supply shitcoins.

Doge - see the last sentence of eth lol.

BCH, the blocks are all over the place so good luck with that. It could take a day to get enough confirmations to send out the product to the client.

LTC and DASH could be smart options though.

I'd support any business that accepts crypto only, assuming I need what they're selling of course. Any stupid Tupperware-type pyramid scheme would be avoided.
458  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paying with Btcoin on: October 15, 2017, 03:41:00 AM
Lol I hope by now you just sold some bitcoins for fiat, paid your tuition and you're well on your way to a better life. It's so hard finding places that accept bitcoins still.
459  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin or altcoin, which is better to invest into now? on: October 15, 2017, 03:34:12 AM
At this exact point the best thing to invest in is an altcoin. They are down in terms of BTC and they just need to get pumped back up again. It's going to happen any time soon. This is always how the market works so now is your chance.
460  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the predominant one among forks? on: October 15, 2017, 03:32:38 AM
If something better comes along that will become the new "bitcoin". Until then, the chain that's got the most approval is the original one (+BIPs) so that's what a bitcoin really is. These others are just people forking off of a good thing to try and piggyback on the name.
