That's interesting. I have never seen a country or region where gambling has surpassed so much that they need to have a parade to make more gambling awareness. I mean will that be ever useful? I don't think that it will be because it is just gonna be a fun party for some time, peeps will watch it, walk around it for some time, may be take a few pics and videos for their social accounts and then they will forget about it.

Did it affect me in any way? Since I keep playing slots and other gambling games all the time, we should be the right candidates to ask this question. The answer is hell no. I am now having more questions about why they had it, whose behind it, and where is it from?

I think all this addiction thing can only be controlled by self-awareness. No one can help us, not our friends, parents, loved ones or neighbours but only self awareness.
442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keeping or recovering seed phrases during or after a natural disaster. on: September 13, 2023, 02:36:30 PM
First of all, sorry to hear about that disaster. Yes, it could be life-taking events so at the time we can not think about anything but just to save ourselves and our loved ones. These are the times when nothing matters, neither our bank accounts, jobs, important documents in the house or secret keys in case of crypto. We would just run away from the life-threatening boundary to the safe zone.

So I think having keys stored in the private space online can be a good idea. I am talking about more secure like AWS or Google One space. Off course only a few private companies can be trusted when storing the data online. I think having a deep hidden folder in let us say iCloud, Google one or AWS servers can be a great escape.

This is the very reason big companies have two servers one the running server and the second the disaster management server. We can have one too with private subscribed spaces like the ones mentioned above to keep the data very safe.
443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in your country. on: September 13, 2023, 01:47:43 PM
Our country is just trying to leech as much taxes as they could but they are completely fine having bitcoin trades of any type. That is currency to currency or currency to whatever is possible. I am more or less happy that at least we do not have to worry about our accounts getting banned.

We pay 1% TDS at the financial year end on only bitcoin to altcoin exchanges that happen on any exchanger. This is traced as exchangers are subject to submit the trade data to authorities during that financial year. Secondly we have to pay 30% taxes on the bitcoin sell to local currency and any profits that we got from such sells.

However, this is again calculated based on various expenses, income slot during that financial year.

It’s pretty much easy if you have business and you can end up paying less as compared to what is given. The country is India.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We Are To Turn Bitcoin into a Global payment Network - Former PayPal President on: September 11, 2023, 06:28:08 PM
That is most stupidest thing coming from the company whose founder seems not to have been interested in Bitcoin for a year now. After Elon did his Bitcoin-selling drama and shut off the whole project in the name of environmental actions things turned upside down for them. No one is going to belive this shit at all.

And what does he mean by making it a global payment network? Goddamit, it is already a global network and the best thing is it's a public ledger and you cant control it. I can't believe this is coming from PayPal's highest management position. I think what he wants to say is simple: "I want Bitcoin under my control, I will sell and buy at the price I want". LOLZ

To stop talking about KYC, let's talk about giveaway and slots games on Duelbits.

Do you like giveaway, let's join it.

Guess the slot, win $100 is a latest giveaway hosted by Duelbits team.

Hours ago, a super lucky gambler won big on Duelbits with slot bet.

$50,246.00 from a $14.00 bet on Hot Fiesta!. You can explore slots games on Duelbits: https://duelbits.com/slots/pragmaticexternal:HotFiesta1

A big kudos to these guys. Man, they entered into Monday with most of their luck and happy mood. Congratulation to those winners as they toast for the amazing winnings. The guy with 50K winning, man just can't believe how much happy he might be. This is worth news watching on your favorite gambling ANN other than shitting about how few peeps are not able to get their payouts because they are scared to do KYC which they already knew about before investing their money into a gambling site.

The Twitter hosted Giveway is really nice. I can already see that 1000+ peeps have already entered the gameand that definitely makes it one of the toughest competition to get your reward. Anyways, the good thing is, it's free and all you have to do is just post the name you guessed. Cool @Duelbits, going good.  Smiley
446  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: September 11, 2023, 04:58:02 PM
~snip~
Small action to start moving away from gambling, that's the power of will and maybe from that beginning a gambling addicted person is showing his interest to change his way, you know there are many gambling addicted people who really needed assistance but they don't have any such will to begin with. That kind of gesture will remain as intention but there's nothing will happen. They will just continue gamble and continue to lose more money.
Someone needs small actions to begin with, and it has to be done regularly and cannot just be done for a few days and then think we have cured the gambling addiction. That's not how it works.

We have to routinely carry out small actions or do things outside of our old habits, namely gambling, to form new habits that will help us divert our minds to these new things. If we can do small things regularly, we can start adding other things that can make us even busier doing it. This will help divert attention carried out continuously to make us stay away from gambling.

Exactly, if you find other things that can gain your attention it will divide your time and your focus, it's good as an alternative to break some time with your gambling activities, and with self-will you might find yourself focusing and trying to divert everything just to avoid your gambling participation, it's always on your side to choose whatever direction you wanted to point your attention.

If you want to quit, there's always a way to begin with. Just add your will and it can happen along the way.

Diversion toward other things is one good thing to prevent gambling addiction or getting too hooked in gambling.  We all know that spending all our time to gambling won't produce any good thing,  It will affect our health and our interaction with the community since we are often in seclusion when we put all our time into online gambling.

Doing other things aside from gambling is like putting our gambling activity in moderation so that we can do more productive stuff.

Well that is the main reason we should never ever get too much involved with the gambling arena. That chapter of life should be kept very limited and there should not be any instance when we remind ourselves continuously that we need to play the game. There should be fixed timings for the whole thing. If someone is turning on a gambling site everyday with self awareness then that’s definitely going to be problem for such gambler in the near future. Many of them think they can control themselves. I do agree that there are also gamblers who are playing every day just to make streaming channels. But get this, they are earning from streaming networks to play the gambling sites and they are not really addicted to gambling directly. For an individual like me it would be nightmare to play ever-day and lose or win small chunks.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with entropy (Chaos) on: September 11, 2023, 03:46:41 PM
All this bot thing is really crazy man. I never thought I would see an experiment like this. OP you better keep this thread alive and show us your results all the time. I am feeling like this bot can do better than what I am doing manually over these years. Lolz. I assume this can only bet on arcade games and not very much focused on slots. Not even sure if that works on slots because they are more complex to bet on. Just assuming, since I have no idea how this bot works.

You have made good UI it seems from the posted images. Is it available for the commercial usage or are you just experimental guy who makes it for yourself. Smiley
448  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Preparations for BTC Halving and bull market on: September 10, 2023, 07:17:33 PM
I’m pretty sure the upcoming halving is going to be more intense. This is in terms of having strong bull run since we have more adoption of bitcoin as compared to what we had in the previous halving cycle. Not just that we also had very less active investors and miners 4 years ago. The spiked numbers are surely going to have positive effects on how things work in the upcoming halving process. The mining machines have developed lot better so mining isn’t going to stop at all if someone says that next halving going to make the rewards go even shorter and mining more “un-profitable”. But as stated we have more powerful ASICS, more investors, more money flooding in the zone so this going in the correct direction for sure.
449  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: September 10, 2023, 06:23:20 PM
A warm welcome to the new casino on the forum. You guys have amazing Website with impressive UI and I think more than enough game providers. It’s good to see every casino launches themselves with fully equipped gaming experience. Of course everyone has different choices when choosing the gambling site and yours is one of them. It is eye catchy, warming to long plays and card games can be engaged for very long period of time. I’m not sure about the popularity of your site but it seems you have come to the right place to advertise your site. Hope so bitcointalk fellow members will get Special Promos soon as you move further with the marketing. Good luck for your stay here.

Price is wavering back and forth at the moment just on the edge of the base reward being one way or another.   I worked out if I buy wheel spins at the lower cost and realize the higher base reward after BTC price drops its a daily 2% yield on just that simple back and forth.  Definitely seems worth doing, though its only a small amount it happens so regularly I might as well use what I got as the opportunity presents itself.
BTC wont waver forever but its often doing this kind of behaviour, I'd still class it as underlying positive though it pulls back from its gains.

We talking or we buying? I’m already up with 1740+ wheel of fortune spins and I can’t wait for the base reward to increase and I end up spinnig all of them. I am also looking forward to spin them just right before Lamborghini prize draw happens. I want to spin at the last movement and hope to get some GT as well. Who knows I might just capture a ticket that is meant for winning.

Since it’s just a month left for that event to declare the winners I think it’s right time to go for it. Though I keep telling myself I am more or less RP and Sats fan, but since it’s close to GT event who isn’t excited?
451  Economy / Economics / Re: Having a problem a Personal Finance? on: September 09, 2023, 05:56:20 PM
Currently, I'm attending a seminar on how lifestyle inflation matters.
Good luck with that seminar and for sure that you'll learn a lot from there. When someone earns more, this is the usual problem that one has to tackle.
They are also increasing the spending habits that they don't have before and that's just being the typical person does when we can't get those things before.
But since our profit or salaries have increased, that's the time that we're spoiling ourselves with those material things and services that we can't afford before.

These are some new sort of life hacks that are getting published everywhere. I am not sure if they are business models or whether they really help revive situations like the one mentioned. Though I am believer of self learning process I think some of them like to get motivated from the talks of others. In my case I have seen it as temporary motivation. Once I forget the speech I usually end up squaring up myself to first position again.
Better way learn our accounting ourselves and follow the math on cyclic period. This can help a lot over the time to understand where we spending more or less. Management becomes as easy as it’s daily routine of our job. Hope so everyone get their lessons and keep up the modern economic fuzz together.
452  Economy / Gambling / Re: Richy.casino - iGaming & Sports Betting. 💰up to $20k deposit bonus, free spins on: September 09, 2023, 03:36:12 PM
Did the offer expire before the date? Glitch on the website?

Sadly yes there was a limit since we made the promotion for only those from the forum. We had a 1000 usage max limit and didn't expect it to be used up this fast. A new promo code will be posted, I have communicated this to the team.
A thousand? With in just a day of announcing the promocode? Tell me, is it possible for 1000 real users/gamblers to use up the promocode within 24 hours of its announcement?

I doubt if so many real users used the promocode. Most definitely multi accounts and bots at play. unfortunately, the purpose of the promocode may have not been fulfilled as you expected

You remember when I commented this? - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5465617.msg62801017#msg62801017

You are welcome.

First of all welcome to the forum and it’s warming that you have already launched a promo code for the forum members and it’s also sad to see that it’s already ended.

I am not sure but it is either good thing or bad thing in different angle. Either we have very highly active gamblers on the forum that are making their quick moves in the background. This makes bitcointalk forum as an amazing platform to market your product and services. Or it could be another reason that is mentioned as per logfiles, that is multi accounting and spammers using the code repeatedly. However odds of that seems really tiny to me since casino’s anti fraud system can detect this quickly.

Hope so either they will publish another promotion soon or have some other ways to reward the BTT users. Smiley
453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's Stabilize Bitcoin on: September 09, 2023, 01:06:16 PM
Bitcoin is meant to be progressive over the period of time and that’s how everything is set in its algorithm. Get this, it’s progressive by means of its limited circulation. It gets more and more difficult to mine with the time and also the reward halves as you might have studied with the bitcoin halving process. All these characteristics are meant to happen and they are there for a reason. With the time it will get more value just because of that. In addition to this, the bitcoin Volatility is due to decentralisation nature and if you wanna make it stable then you will have to Back it up with something. If you start doing that then it will lose all its properties and it won’t be a bitcoin. It would be just another shit coin that is being controlled with something.
454  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why gambling beginners must not joke with casino announcement on: September 09, 2023, 12:40:55 PM
I think promotions are the part of new casino and even the old reputed casinos all equal. The only difference is you can never predict which one is going to be buster in the upcoming future. It’s better to focus on the existing popular casino that has proven themselves the trusted casino if a new gambler is starting their journey. Then once they get the feel for everything they can start exploring new platforms. Most of the time we keep switching for the undeniable offers and promos and then most of them just switch back to the original platform once the offer is fully availed. We know very this is game of investing, saving on offers and then putting more into profits. I think they shouldn’t be warm about it but they should be taught how they should start their journey. Start with reputed casino, then slowly explore others.
455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: September 08, 2023, 04:12:43 PM
In which ever way we see it, gambling is not a noble profession, if at all it is a profession. You can hardly see anyone who glory in gambling or who goes around telling people that what they do for a living is gambling. Gambling may be allowed in some countries, but in some certain countries, it is totally banned and even in the countries that it is allowed, people do not find it comfortable to make it public that they gamble. So female genders will always like to protect their speciality and prestige and that is why they do not involve much in gqmbling since it is seen as a dirty game. That is the reason why I think female are not much involved in gambling because they always want their respect and prestige in society.

Culture or pride maybe, though that's also a good reason why women is not that much in terms of gambling, most if not all women value their reputations unlike with men risking is not new or is a usual action for men to take that big risk and think after, there're differences in terms of mindsets most women are careful and not going to take a big risk especially if talking about the reputation that will be created after such actions, they are more into protecting themselves and the people behind them.

It may not be that much complicated. It could be that woman just don’t like to gamble their money and over the course of evolution a woman is always safe player and always wants to save more. I think that genetic make up makes lot of sense why they may not be much interested in gambling.

However, that’s explanation for the ongoing discussion above. What I believe is, woman is also actively involved in the gambling now. They are also smart and keen while playing various games. It may be not very prominent but it’s modern world and they do almost everything that a man does.

I think it’s meaningless to discuss the gender differences as it won’t even matter a lot in the near future when we have them sitting side by side and beating us in the games.
456  Economy / Gambling / Re: 999LUCKYDICE GAMBLING on: September 08, 2023, 03:34:52 PM
Welcome to the forum. We keep seeing bunch of sites promoting themselves on the forum everyday but they have far better presentation of their casino. In many cases we can literally get 99% idea that what casino has to offer to their users. Whether it is game providers list, deposit and withdrawal methods, sponsors if any, promotions and new comer offers. You see that makes an excellent impression on the casino right from the beginning. Like I have myself felt many times to put some money into it and start playing right away. That feeling I did not get with your post and it is very important to be straight to the new comers. Hope so you will look at the different ANN and also make the changes accordingly.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: How to avoid over expenses and have discipline on: September 08, 2023, 12:25:32 PM
Wow the 24 hour rule seems really amazing. It does make sense that it’s all about the adrenaline that pumps us into doing things that we were not supposed to do in the first place. I definitely got convinced with this point for sure. Recently I have started to have 50-50 shares on Bitcoin-Gold. I mean holder of Bitcoin but I mess up things when bitcoin becomes very volatile at a times. So to back up my investment and make it more stable I have started buying digital gold too. It secured my investment with stable course of development. Plus both of them make sure that I am saving plenty amount of money for my future life.
My expenses would go in the list after I have made the above said share. It does help me.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I found Facebook trading group they work with signals wolf of wstreet on: September 08, 2023, 11:00:32 AM
There is another group that promises million dollar within one month. There is also another group that can make thousand bucks per hour with the signaling group on Telegram.

But hey, no one understand till date why anyone would be so gracious to make someone millionaire overnighting. Well let us guess everyone, it’s fake shit that’s why. This is the reason it doesn’t work at all and it will never.

The only pees that are getting blessed with this strategy are the one who’s creating such groups and making others to invest on coins that they have bought long ago with cheap prices. I hope nobody fall for their scams.
459  Economy / Gambling / Re: (duelbits.com) Is it possible for duelbit.com to retrieve my wrong deposit ? on: September 07, 2023, 03:51:49 PM
The only thing duelbits can do is send your USDT-TRC20 back to your address because they only have USDT options on ERC20 and BEP20.
But unfortunately, I doubt they will do it to return your deposit because there are many cases like this, and every time you make a deposit there is a warning about what will happen if you make a mistake to the deposit.

Sorry for your loss, it's not a small amount of money and it's hard to accept this loss, but it's a lesson to be more careful, always double-check before pressing the send button.
However, if in the end Duelbits is willing to send your money back, that should be appreciated.

Oh man sorry for the OP. This is a big toll lesson for everyone who is transacting in the crypto. This is not just limited to casino cashiers but anywhere we transact from small faucets to the big casino's like in OP's case, they will always mention the blockchain on which they should be sending the coins. In fact it is also mentioned on the exchangers.

If you are using the Binance then it should have been known to you already. I know sometimes we are ignorant due to a few factors but whenever it is crypto it shouldn't be this way. There is no one to blame on and highly doubt there is any type of recovery in this case.

Since this matter is in the hands of Duelbits no one can promise you the recovery, but here is some knowledge for future reference.

Recovering from a wallet that supports BSC and Ethereum

Quote
Recovering from a custodial wallet or exchange

The prospects of retrieving the assets are minimal in such a situation. For help, you'll need to contact your wallet provider or the exchange's customer support. Private keys may be provided by some Custodial wallet providers at no cost, while others may charge a fee. Once you have access to the private keys, you can import them into a wallet that is BSC-compatible. On the other hand, the majority of Custodial wallet providers might decline to give you access to their private keys. to do so in any way.
460  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 07, 2023, 01:04:48 PM
I think it’s only decentralised casinos that are able to operate with no KYC zone and that too with lot of limitations. If they are from friendly country where gambling regulations are pretty loose end then they might just survive for longer. However, there are tiny number of casinos or rather gambling sites that are able to operate freely because simply it’s matter of money laundering.

Whenever we see sites where first income instance is Money itself then it’s gonna be connected with money laundering all the time. Authorities are more prone to watch out such sites and keep them restricted.

I’m not sure how your AI will keep up the track of all those changes but very good luck with the new concept.
