1441  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 16, 2022, 11:12:13 AM
Yeah work from home is some crazy stunt these  days. It’s like you are being forced to work at home, the place where you make memories with your loved ones, home is space where you get out of your daily routines and be comfortable. However these days peeps who work in IT sector are mostly being dragged away from the offices. The mindset changes heavily when you work at office, you are surrounded with like minded peeps who are focused on completing the work. Obviously there is also lot of fun at work but that’s with your colleagues and it’s another life really. Mixing with WFH has become tedious and monotonous too!
1442  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: September 16, 2022, 10:31:17 AM
The link provided does not work. Considering the scenario from what you described it seems the account holder was really pissed over withdrawal situation and could be victim of repeated attempts of withdrawing money from bank under pressure. Is it possible that they have been forced to withdraw large sums of money by a criminal who might have sent large chunks of bitcoin over their address and now trying to get the cash for the same?

I mean this could happen. Someone might just send it intentionally or accidentally and then study you, where you live, breath, work and what not and then commit such horrible crimes.
1443  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Payment Processors are being used Globally? on: September 15, 2022, 06:12:23 PM
Yeah UPI is amazing but bitcoin can never compete it and it does not run on free money from Government. In fact it’s exactly opposite of that. Since bitcoin is solely based on miners energy and every computer that registered the nodes it’s highly impossible it will become completely free of cost and be instant Like UPI. There are many applications though which claim instant payment transfer but as we know bitcoins transfer can only be confirmed if it has at least one network confirmation. That contributes to its “confidence”. So nothings instant here. However, its being valued for its border less transfers which is for sure instant and cheap as compared to SWIFT and other services.

Save them and spend them all at once?
Right now getting 50 sats from WoF's.

How many daily WOFs do you have? Do you buy them for RPs?

Remember that freebitco works also like a "saving account", which means you get interest from sats you keep active (available) on your account. In other words - the more sats you have, the more you get, which is one more reason to execute WOFs daily.

Yeah that’s a good point.  However many times its fun collecting the WOF and expecting good reward in turn in “bulk”. Anyways we start getting the interest thereafter and still enjoy the same level of rewarding Back to our account. By the way many peeps really forget that its better to put our money into freebitco account rather than banks since they are already giving away same interest rate on our savings and with added benefits of having bitcoin in our account. With this interest one can kee adding FUN and enjoy premium benefits too. Many things can be done with planning’s.

Quote
Crypto can be a big part of humanity's comeback. Its the flexible, rapid development, rapid deployment option the world doesn't know it needs. Perhaps one day the world will wake up and realize it has to much to offer.

May be it's not about what kind of asset or currency we are using to trade in the market. It's all about scrambled economy due to pandemic and then after shocks of it. By the time world was recovering from it, two nations broke out the war and america and others got involved into it eventually. The problem started when essential stuff like crude oil stopped exporting out of Russia. Every bit that happened during pandemic and after pandemic is the reason for the worlds condition that we are facing currently.

Helping each other is not an option anymore. America was supposed to be helping hand, however eventually it turns out to be opposite to that now. There are on going military operations, government projects, pensions and what not which can not be halted to avoid the catastrophic after effects. They need to revise the way its working right now.
1446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dumps on high inflation report.. on: September 14, 2022, 03:31:03 AM
Markets are completely dependent on BRRR nowadays. It can only normalize when the economy makes sense again. You know, old fashioned things like positive interest and higher savings interest than inflation.

Imagine that happening after uncertain period of time. Currently the interests on the loans has increased severely, the home loans are up to 11.50%, personal loans are whooping 13% and add +1.5% on private financing in India. You can literally think about any investment at such high rates if your wallets are already fat enough. Banks however, kept the interests on Fixed deposits, Savings in the same range as it was before.

This has obviously started that chain reaction of costs on everything so even bitcoin seems to be at the side of inflation getting affected day by day.

Peeps around the world has to overcome the previous loans and increased interest rate is not only applicable to new applications but also to the existing loans.
1447  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3400 % ++ ROI in a month , trading competition in Indonesia on: September 11, 2022, 03:12:20 PM
Oo, trading competition Sounds very dangerous to me. The number one reason behind this is, competition could get on the nerves and when this happens it could lead to catastrophic decisions while trading. I would not want myself in the position where I am making decisions based on emotions and in the want of winning against my opponent. Trading is more or less calm based stuff. One must do it carefully, with perfect logic and without any burden on the decisions. I don’t think it will work so easily for the normal trader like me.

For those interested in FUN token premium investment experiment, I've just posted in the official thread at Securities forum board the third episode of the series containing results from the last month:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5405945.msg60912522#msg60912522

I’m surprised how much you waited for those 1000 WOF !! I can hold until 100-200 spins and then I can’t stop myself from spinning them. Lolz. I’m impressed with your work in the securities. You have shown how FUN investment on freebitcoin is perfect example of long term holding benefits.

I always knew that someone is benefiting a lot from 50k holding. I can see from your table that you have earned more than 21k plus 17k RP in single run. So with the on going compounding you can have even more and more benefits. Keep it up.

I have 50k, and Uneng has 500k. Smiley

I am getting 8 WoF spins daily and I don't spin them before 500 spins... I find it more interesting, I have +100 now,  and I will probably spin them right before the Lambo draw, just 37 days before that!

Oh yeah correct. My bad, it’s actually 500k for the highest stake isn’t it. But that’s really huge stake and I am also hoping for such big stakes soon. I think for me only way to do this is keep buying little amounts from the free roll satoshi and whatever I win from the WOF too. I mean that’s fastest way to do it without any extra investment from my own pockets I guess. This will go into beneficial plan such as increased WOF, 25% APY is bonus all the time.

1450  Economy / Economics / Re: India as a developed country by 2047 on: September 11, 2022, 09:05:10 AM
India can easily achieve that goal within the speculated timeline however there is one problem with the Indian infrastructure and the way things work in there. For example, lately I have seen so many news about corrupt politicians and how multi millions of dollars in cash form were ceased from their houses! Imagine if those politicians would have used it for the work which they were intended the development could keep forwarding on success path all the time.

I think they are already on to it so it’s good that some good digging is actually happening.
1451  Economy / Economics / Re: Which city deserves to be the blockchain capital? on: September 10, 2022, 01:05:45 PM
The last idea seems more reasonable. The centers could be regional based so that managing such conferences could be far easy and locality could gather way faster than international conference. It may happen that interested acquaintances may not get invitations for the VISA applications or even if they get its no guarantee they will get visa approval for the same. There are some issues which are never thought off for international meet ups. It might be easier for the western peeps to get visa faster than the other half. So why not have it regional based and everyone gets involved.
1452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulations on proof of work might be coming on: September 10, 2022, 11:31:28 AM
So what? Mining industries can easily provide the data associated with environmental effects from their facilities. If required they can control these measures by periodic load shadings, maintenance day off, spreading the facilities across different regions of localities and what not. This will have re-distributed consumptions of energy, heat production (bi-product), and carbon emissions(?) if any.

I don't think such law is very big deal. In fact this is applicable to all industries irrespective of their field of work.

If they are that much worries, then can have following schemes for the mining industries;

If you install 1 miner then plant and grow 10 trees
If you have 100 miners then plant 1000 plants and grow.

This will also bring up some social work and reduction of carbon emission (?) if any from the mining industry.
1453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Hail The Queen! An Outlook Into UK's Crypto Ownership and NFTs Market. on: September 09, 2022, 05:05:36 PM
Yeah again, she was Queen, she lived majestic life and ruled amazingly and with perfect mindset. There is no need to connect the dots with current crypto situation and her last day here. Let’s just respect her work and life and May she RIP.

If we really want to change the bitcoins situation then it’s through the developments and these are mostly current scenarios on how to accept the bitcoin and how to make it the original one without Government influence on the same.
1454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Queen Elizabeth and Cryptocurrency on: September 09, 2022, 11:34:56 AM
Yeah this is nothing but using the viral terms of the current timeline to attract peeps and get money flushed into the donation address or newly minted coins. It’s actually disrespectful and should not be considered valid investment. Firstly, this is scam anyways. The lady had good time after modern world development and she already ran perfect nation so it might be possible they never needed to use bitcoin or need to do so in the future. The Royal family already have complete control over the mega piece of land, why they would care about bitcoin anyways.
1455  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4 Bitcoin Traders Arrested Due To Illegal Trading on: September 08, 2022, 01:23:47 PM
@stompix, nah actually those might be the devices they were using to do the scam. Usually such scams happen in rented apartment or some cheap quarters without any documentation. This gives more privacy and such peeps turn into their so called action Center to do all the illegal stuff. Usually they are always photographed with whatever things collected from the criminal spot. But yeah it looks funny.

I think they were using dating sites to collect the payment in the form of bitcoin or it’s even possible they were only distributing the money by sending to that site. So turning it into Money laundering process eventually. Anyways, news should have shaded more light to see whether it was serious matter or just some another funny scam.
1456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Longterm Price Target on: September 08, 2022, 12:43:53 PM
After reading couple of pages on this topic it scared me, started to feel like what if bitcoin stopped suddenly? That’s crazy idea really. However, if we keep this thought aside for sometime and only think about bitcoin getting adopted all the time then demand will go above skies due to limited supply and then price will get impacted for sure. So to get fair share price per satoshi would go beyond hundreds of dollars.

It may happen that Whatever is satoshi =$ would be the minimum amount that one can send and receive. For example, 100 bucks for that matter. It’s bit complicated analysis, things could go north and south.
1457  Economy / Economics / Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"? on: September 08, 2022, 11:38:08 AM
In practice, success is really personal thing. For everyone its different. Who knows someone may live their house, relatives and friends to go far beyond and earn heck lot of money to live a lavish life somewhere on a private island? That might be success for someone. On the other hand, someone is happy and considers themselves successful if they made a good family, average living without any headache of financial stress and stuff like that. Its entirely personal thing these days. However, those who think what others will think about them and run for getting success just because of what others will say then that's entirely wrong protocol to live a life! For me none of them matters. All one should be worried about is happy life, a good family, friend circle and be enjoying without any fakism.
1458  Economy / Economics / Re: 'We don’t have enough' lithium globally to meet EV targets, mining CEO says on: September 08, 2022, 09:19:12 AM
I believe if we really reach point where lithium is no longer available then we humans will start designing and achieving whole new realm of technology where it’s not required. History is proof for such advances. We moved from steam engines to petrol, diesel, now electricity and even hydrogen fuel is the next change. You never know what’s coming up as part of development.

By the way if they still want to have lithium, then they can have diplomatic relations with Afghanistan and which seems very profitable to that country considering their current conditions.
1459  Economy / Economics / Re: Usability of cryptocurrency in Africa on: September 07, 2022, 04:41:36 PM
I think it is necessary to be more specific about the topic. When we say Africa, this includes more than 50 countries with different economies and different financial policies. The situation of crypto in North Africa, for example, where there are Arab countries with emerging economies and witnessing political and social stability to some extent, is fundamentally different from the situation of crypto in West African countries, for example, where these countries suffer from complete dependence on France through the currency of the African franc, which is controlled by France complete control.
Crypto to date represents a good solution for individuals who suffer from unfair financial and banking policies in their countries, but at the same time it will be more like a dilemma for countries that are not ready in terms of the necessary technical development and the appropriate ground for adopting crypto. The example of Central Africa and Venezuela was very unsuccessful.

Indeed true fact when we speak about Africa, being one of the largest continent it has its own inequalities. Most of the news that I hear about Africa involves adoption of bitcoin gives me confusing impression about it. On one side we see Africa where peeps are starving, waste lands rising and there is no quality water drink; how one could even think about the implementation of bitcoin!! It's just crazy fact and its the south which most developed and being ruled by powerful peeps for sure. However, sad reality; many countries do not get to enjoy the liberty of this development. The development of bitcoin can only happen when there is enough money, infrastructure, high liquidity and most importantly Governments capability to handle it.
1460  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix banned Bitcoin, Human Rights Foundation Donates. on: September 07, 2022, 04:25:04 PM
It's funny because there are bunch of series which are streaming on the netflix who are mentioning bitcoin all the time. I have seen few of them which were based on the criminal/drug abuse genre in which most of the criminals are using bitcoin to transfer the funds anonymously. So FBI agents keep wandering and tracking down the so called crypto criminal because of whom drugs keep moving here and there.

All the way back big ang theory also mentions bitcoin in one entire episode where the friends used to mine the bitcoin but loose it due to lost laptop and shit.

End result: Does not matter bitcoin promotion is banned on netflix or not, the series which fund them already taking care of that. Lolz.  Grin
