441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my shib for litecoin on: April 01, 2024, 02:23:40 PM
Recently I bought around 1000 dollars of litecoin (I sold 1000 dollars of my bitcoin for it) and I've already made a 20% gain. I decided to buy more LTC by selling the 690 dollars of shib bringing the grand total of my litecoin to 2000 dollars USD. Is this bad or does LTC have a future?
I still believe with LTC and I mostly use it for transfers but about it holding for long term, it's like a balancer of a portfolio to me. It doesn't fall a lot but it doesn't go up a lot too. So, if you think that it's a good addition to your portfolio then that's fine.

I've seen a lot about how LTC has a possible ETF in the far future. I am a long holder (5 years at least) btw.
You think so? It's possible since we've got BTC, some ETH application and soon there could be an LTC.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: I will buy old TRX (Tron) tokens on the Ethereum network (ERC20) on: April 01, 2024, 12:01:10 AM
I receive a lot of messages from scammers pretending to be interested in selling TRX tokens. Some of them even managed to deceive me for 5-10 USDT. If you are not willing to transfer some portion of the tokens first to confirm ownership of the wallet, then don't even bother messaging me.
Ouch, I didn't expect that. They asked you to go first? You can create a scam accusations thread so that the DTs will tag those people who have deceived you and sold their souls for $5-$10. Or, you can simply post them here and add the proof that they've scammed you and next time, use an escrow if you don't trust the person that you're transacting with as long as any of you willing to should the escrow fee which isn't that much though for the safety of your transaction.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Can someone help me how to get my BNB out of my Trust Wallet? on: March 31, 2024, 11:10:31 PM
So I sent it to my Binance (BEP20)

The adress is correct, I copied pasted it. Somehow it made some UPPERCASE letters from lowercase.
It is sent. Can not cancel it anymore and it does not show up in my wallet.

Please, tell me I am not f*cked? Sad
Can you post the transaction so that we can see if it's pushed through and confirmed? How did you manage to change the uppercase into lowercase? when you just have to copy-paste it? AFAIK, BNB addresses aren't case-sensitive. Check on the binance account if there is an upcoming transaction that you can see on the deposit page below.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone set up shop in crypto friendly EL SALVADOR? on: March 31, 2024, 09:59:23 PM
I know El Salvador is very crypto friendly , are there any exchanges on there?
Their legal tender now is BTC and I've seen some local exchanges there being used by their locals that has features that helps them with paying their stuff and not just with qr codes but also with their bills and other utilities.

I was wondering also how much does it cost to get a coin on an exchange these days? I rememeber years ago it use to cost a bitcoin, but a bitcoin was WAY less then it cost now.
Nothing has changed, you can get it by directly purchasing it to them. Where did you experienced or heard that it costs us a bitcoin to have a bitcoin?
445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Meme Sniping Trend on Raydium and Solana: Let’s Discuss! on: March 31, 2024, 08:59:33 PM
I am seeing this together in the phantom wallet and dextools. Many are sniping memecoins because it's on a trend and they don't mind about usecases anymore. What matters to them is that they're going to make some money out of these new meme coins. And it doesn't have to be long and many are investing a lot of money on it but I don't because I want to be careful as not all of them can pump.
446  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Meme" coins are ruining everything on: March 31, 2024, 07:52:21 PM
Do you think the "meme" coins craze will move the industry away from being a utilitarian one to a speculative one?
The entire crypto market is a speculative market and that's why we're all here though. But with these meme coins craze, I can't deny that they're contributing to the entire market.

Will the hype last forever?
No.

Do you think crypto will do fine with "meme" coins in the way?
Yes. Dogecoin was there but it's made as a meme and it had stayed on the top ranks for several years. Now, it just has got its competitors and even more but still, it remains so it's just fine with many of them in existence.
447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoin games in exchanges on: March 31, 2024, 11:40:58 AM
As you give the warning to the others, to the others this seems to be an opportunity that they're trying to look as a lottery. That's why many investors are still looking for memecoins or shitcoins because of the gains that they can get. As far as we know about them, this is making them look into the greater gains instead of the long term gains that we're looking for. I am for the long term but I did managed to earn quickly with some of the altcoins before but it didn't happen again.
448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what sort of features would you want in a trading bot? on: March 30, 2024, 10:59:42 PM
Just asking because I have been developing my trading bot for awhile, I have been successful with it but I'm hoping to learn what you guys are looking for so I will be able to plan what I can do to improve mine and convince you to use it as well.
We have to see how your bot works first before we give you the idea on what must be added. Because majority of the bots now are working the same as what they are. So, for us to have the thought of what features you can add, develop it first and let's see from there what you lack of and what can be added next.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on the PI Network? on: March 30, 2024, 10:16:58 PM
They are supposedly trading at a high price at $43.20 in exchanges like HTX.
This is huobi right? It's not the actual PI that OP has mentioned but it's like a pi that made by huobi themselves to ride the hype of it but it's only tradable there, no deposits and withdrawal.

A few years back, I also participated in mining of PI coins, when its app was launched on mobile and managed to accumulate  few hundereds of PI coins, later the team also introduced very challenging KYC process, it became apparent to me resized  that the team might not be fully committed to ensure the success of the project not serious to make it a success. As a result, I stopped mining and ceased my involvement with the project, including keeping up with its updates.
Good thing that you've come to realize that. I still see a lot of people that can't accept that they've spent a lot of time on it doing all of the required process and requirements and then, there's no progress at all anymore. That's why if these people will just realize that they can use their time from committing into this project, they'd be better doing it with some other projects that are legitimate and tradable into exchanges unlike this one, you should be done with all of it.
450  Economy / Services / Re: Cryptocurrency Trading on: March 30, 2024, 09:43:54 PM
It's the same scam advertisement that you'd see on many social platforms. They'd just drop by and will tell that they've been earning a lot to entice people with it but you'd definitely going to get scammed. If you're new to the market, make sure that you trade only for yourself and you don't have to find someone that shall trade for you. Get that sweat and losses into learnings for your personal gain and experience and not with some mentor or "experts" that will do the trade for you because the chance of getting scammed by that setup is high.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cutting my gambling costs to Invest some of it on the Alt and Meme Coins. on: March 30, 2024, 09:13:49 PM
Why I can only afford to invest in the highily volatile AltCoins and the MemeCoins is that the tokens are cheaper to purchase in a lot of quantities unlike bitcoin that's very expensive. Although it's agreed that one can invest on bitcoin with any amount of money but comparing the fractions or quantity, bitcoin is more quality and expensive.
People get to say this for countless times. Even before, it's been said that Bitcoin was expensive already and once it reaches the ATH and even we go through a bear run, same thing will be said.

So I'd only Invest on these Meme and the Alt Coins with my at stake funds supposing to be funded on my gambling. So I'd rather skip or cut my gambling stakes so that I can alternate it to Invest of the unreliable Coins which I'd also say to be it's highily risky to be sighted as gambling too.
That's a good choice, instead of gambling then you'd be investing to the market. That's an idea that you should have done long time before. But investing to high risk coins? good luck.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to find a best bounty campaign to join ? on: March 30, 2024, 12:41:19 PM
I want to join some bounty campaign to have some extra income....but looking at the bounties section..it is very confusing and I am not able to decide what to join,I don't want to waste time in some scam projects.
If possible can I get list of some good bounty managers with their telegram channel link.
One hint is by checking their trust history and you'll get to see some of them that have been left with a good or bad feedback.
Not all bounties that a good manager manages can be successful. It's just so happen that their professionalism is at stake with that and they have no control over those projects success after doing their part but about being a top notch manager, they're always reliable with that and they're doing their best to deliver results.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new meme coin help on: March 30, 2024, 11:59:22 AM
I stumbled upon something that has truly captivated me: PekinCoin. What particularly attracted me to PekinCoin is the rumor about a private Telegram server exclusively for private sales.
You just registered today and talked about this project. You're brand new by being newly registered but you seem not brand new anymore. Mentioning a project directly that you "probably" have seen somewhere else doesn't guarantee you profit from that. Because it's either you are working with them or you truly have found it. And you know what that most projects that are going on with something related to money on telegram server like this? they're likely a scam.

I also have the same intuitions as you for this OP. Coming to a new forum and the first thing you talk about in your  first post is about a project, an alt coin project with out any clear roadmap for it. Leading the whole explanation to a telegram channel is already showcasing a lot of risk in the project which should be carefully looked into before investing in them. I feel like he’s just here to get the attention of the people to join the project which may likely be a pump and scam project and then benefit from it as early investors or workers of the project that are looking for ways to escape with people’s money (the naive ones) in particular that are newbies into this new projects in cryptocurrencies.
There are too many of them that comes by and posts their projects as if they're asking and ignorant at all. Asking for some tips and suggestions of people but they don't see the true intention of these people that they're only here to give some idea on what project they're working on and if someone is a curious cat, they'd pay a visit to the website and from there, it's already a lead to them and might become a potential investor.
454  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sam Bankman-Fried, the "Crypto King" jailed for 25 years on: March 30, 2024, 11:17:03 AM
With all of the clarification on how he has obtained his wealth, he can't be counted as a young billionaire because it was the people's money and he didn't do any sweat with that. Good riddance, although I am still seeing a lot of folks that wanting him to get into jail more than the verdict. 25 years for all of the stealing and misusing of people's funds, there's gotta be more with that but as long as he's going to get inside the jail and celebrate all of his days there, many are seeing justice within.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My opion and btc outlook for the next 2 years. on: March 29, 2024, 11:41:54 PM
Today Im loading up my bags Solana doge xrp xlm ada and eth Tron mostly for up coming alt season.
Good luck, you seem to be prepared with the upcoming altcoin season and everyone has got their bags filled with what they want to hold. While I mostly see people still go on with the meme coins hoping that they'd get some big profits with it, still good luck to everyone who are doing their strategies at this rate.

No one can say that the market can crash at any time. It is said that hopes often hurt. Nothing can be said with certainty about the current market situation. Therefore, we should always be prepared for both sides of the market and to witness any situation that might occur because the market is extremely unpredictable.
Everyone is free to say that it can crash any time and that's what I have been reading in different platforms when there is a discussion about this upcoming halving and what it is for bitcoin.

457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have staking FDUSD on Binance? on: March 29, 2024, 06:22:56 PM
If it's from Bitcoin and you have to convert it into FDUSD, I don't think that's worth it. That amount will get you a lot of airdrops there and they're passive income. But IMO, it's more worth it not to touch that Bitcoin you hold for the sake of buying FDUSD and putting it on Binance launchpool. I've made lots of airdrops there in the launchpool but I didn't converted my Bitcoin for that. Otherwise, if you are satisfied with the current price of BTC and you want to save some money and take the profit, that's your call and any price that you'd sell as long as you're happy to do that, it's your personal choice.
458  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on the market right now? on: March 29, 2024, 05:30:03 PM
I want to stock up on alts for the spot now. What do you think, should I buy now or should I wait?
Buy if you are ready and you have the money. And wait if you're not yet ready and you think that it's not yet the time for you to buy.
It's always the miss universe question by many of the folks when they can't decide for themselves. That's why for you OP, you have to decide for yourself on how your plan is.
459  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin staking on: March 29, 2024, 04:36:04 PM
Exchanges and multicryptocurrency/online wallets offer this kind of service but it's not directly that bitcoin provides it for you. It's like a service of the bank that you have to deposit and you'll earn interest from it, is it worth it? No. You better hold your own Bitcoin than entrust it to these kind of services where you don't hold your private keys or most of these platforms are centralized and you'll have no jurisdiction over your funds.
I tried this shit long ago all I got as interest after a long 9days of wait was just tantamount to a waste of time and since then I don't take stakes offers from any exchange as a means to make any profit, and if you want to make a substantial amount of profit from those stakes you will have to put in a large amount of money which is not advisable as centralized exchanges are not a place to trust your large amount of money with, anything can happen within those waiting days.
Some may argue that profit is profit but it's different on this one. You'd get peanuts and almost nothing but yeah, there are some satoshis but at what cost?
The cost of it is what if the exchange or the platform where you have staked(deposited) it for the interest that you're craving turns out to have an exit scam, you can't chase them anymore and you lose your fund easy.
