1341  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: November 08, 2023, 05:47:22 PM
I was wrong on an specific AI coin because I was brought by the hype. I knew it that I shouldn't be like that whenever there are new trends in the market.
I have bought it at the launching price and thought that it will pump as much as it can because of how the mass media have been publishing articles a lot of it and have seen people talk about it.
Yeah, I was an idiot and basically won't happen again and I won't mention that AI coin that I've bought but I guess most of you have got an idea what it is.
1342  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion on Cardano on: November 07, 2023, 11:50:54 PM
Although I don't like this coin, it looks like it has been built already and there's the stability that it has got. With that status on the market, it's likely to stay for long.
If you want to buy it and got some plans of owning for a long time. I advise you to keep updated and read a lot of things about it because if you don't do so, you're holding something you don't know and that's not recommended.
And as I have said with this status, it's unlikely to go with a lower rank on this market unless some big negative news comes out.
this coin has been climbing up smoothly from the very bottom but if we see from the longer time frame its still so far from all time high. just like any other coin basically so I think i agree that this coin might just grow from here on even better when bullish market settles in.
the only thing that holding me back from investing in cardano though, it seems overshadowed by some other altcoin, even newer ones, right now i've never heard anyone investing in cardano that often anymore.
more and more people just prefer newly emerging coin and just stick with that, the old smart contract coins might be having hard time this bullrun around in increasing its own value.
There are other coins that seem to be better from it but even with that, we see that once a coin has been stable and has got the back from its people, no matter what new features from these new projects has. They won't just abandon the project.

thats why I guess i would still try to invest where the money flows in, basically all these new emerging blockchains that propose newer technology.
They propose new technology where in fact that there's nothing really new from most of them. They are just like bunch of new projects with new names but the same purpose from the older ones.

1344  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: November 07, 2023, 09:53:36 PM
Usually, they should just for those type of use like arts and those stuff. But the makers of it have made it as if they're for all applications and I think it has got too much from there. Yeah, they can last forever but what will be the value? memorabilia?

There are several points that make NFT have value.
1. Art value (this usually applies to NFTs backed by physical art, photography).
2. Utility value (this is usually found in special NFTs such as NFT Pass (hold the NFT to join the service)).
3. Artist, this is still related to point 1, who made the NFT, and its value will increase because the NFT was created by someone who is an expert in making digital and physical art.
4. Earning, I don't think this needs to be explained. You definitely understand this point.
No doubt with those art values that have been minted as a limited edition and it's gonna be more valuable if they're from a world renowned artist.

Even though NFT memes seem to have no value, most of these memes are used as NFT Passes or earn a tokens. However, not all NFTs have value like this, a lot of NFTs are generally the same as meme tokens or sh*t token/coins, which have no utility and are then simply abandoned, so the holder doesn't get anything.

NFA/DYOR/DWYOR
Yeah, you're right. I have seen people boasts their profits having those type of NFT memes that have earned them a token and traded it and made money out of it.
1345  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: November 07, 2023, 08:59:27 PM
...You'll always see people that are like that. They've got their very reasons why they don't want to invest in Bitcoin because they think that bigger opportunities are on the alts.
And look, all they think is about being rich. ..

But nevertheless it is so. And I think that most traders earned their capital by trading altcoins, which even now in a few days brought them a profit equal to the amount they invested. And having received a profit from altcoin trading, they can invest it in Bitcoin or spend it to meet their needs.
I agree, that many of the traders earn from trading altcoins and wherever they spend their capital and profit, it doesn't matter. But it's not odd anymore to see someone out of nowhere asking what he/she should buy for an specific altcoin to make them rich.
That's always the reason why they wanna buy and they're passing the burden to other person but guess what, we don't care at all.

well sometime with limited capital there's no option to get the chance of truly becoming rich other than investing in low market capitalization coin, lets be frank here, imagine if you only have $1k to invest, meanwhile the current price of bitcoin is around $35k, that means if you invest all your capital to bitcoin, and everytime bitcoin made an increase, you only get 1/35 supposed profit which isn't really much, moreover double the value of bitcoin requires long time and massive capital considering how large the overall market capital of bitcoin is, different with altcoin which are starting from the very bottom making the price doubling even tripling not uncommon.
i'd argue that the main motivation that makes many people so eager to invest in altcoin.
Although I have seen some investors that got lucky with the less that they have, they made amazing money. But it is true that if you don't have that much capital, you won't become rich unless you become lucky with coins like meme coins and they skyrocketed and then dump. And with that pump, you are one of the luckiest people to ride it.
1346  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can NFTs last forever? on: November 07, 2023, 12:28:18 PM
it looks like nfts has tumbled a bit but according to data from this article (https://fintechmagazine.com/articles/in-depth-do-nfts-have-a-future#) nfts might stay here for quite awhile
They didn't stumbled a bit but they actually have fallen and there seems to be no coming back for the majority of them. Even the Bored Ape NFTs have fell greatly.

nfts have a lot of purposes and a lot of different kinds of people have access to nfts there are traders and the artists so it might look like nfts are not of great value right now but i believe it will stick in the long run
Usually, they should just for those type of use like arts and those stuff. But the makers of it have made it as if they're for all applications and I think it has got too much from there. Yeah, they can last forever but what will be the value? memorabilia?
1347  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins that are good for long hodling in this season. on: November 06, 2023, 11:45:38 PM
So all the altcoins investors are also waiting for the bitcoin ATH to sell their Altcoins.
That's true because whenever bitcoin is up, most of the alts are also going up. But for some altcoins, they don't do it and don't have to wait for bitcoin to go up.

And it is not only those two that the op mentioned are the altcoins that one can invest or have the highest profit. Litecoin is also there.
The oldies but are still existing with good communities that are still working together to make the project continue to exist. Litecoin is a good one but I prefer it these days for transfers only.
1348  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market warms up, what altcoins can help me rich? on: November 06, 2023, 11:04:26 PM
you’ve read that bitcoin has good future prospects and then decide to ask for altcoins? i suggest sticking to bitcoin right now especially because of the reasons you mentioned
altcoins movement might be too hard to predict you really won’t know which values’ will rise if you really want to invest in altcoins then learn how to study the market and possible indicators of value increase/decrease
You'll always see people that are like that. They've got their very reasons why they don't want to invest in Bitcoin because they think that bigger opportunities are on the alts.
And look, all they think is about being rich.
With this mentality, they're likely to be the ones to be a victim of scams when somebody tells them on which they should invest.
1349  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network mining on: November 06, 2023, 09:58:59 PM
I think OP is just shilling PI network and compare Bitcoin with it. I had a bit of a laugh as well when I heard about this comparison
Most of the PI holders that can't dump it will do the shilling for them to just get hold off from it. They have to do whatever they can because they are probably getting the signs that has been told to them that this project isn't going to be good than the others.

since based on my knowledge about crypto Altcoins will remain what it is and nothing can replace Bitcoin network I mean, PI is Pi and BTC is BTC two different networks on two different coins. PI has nothing to prove yet compared to the pioneering Bitcoin.
Yes, none can replace Bitcoin whether how many communities they are or how many they are in their communities. Bitcoin is like the standard and where they are all standing. Forget about that dethroning.
1350  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: November 06, 2023, 08:33:38 PM
For some reason, no one thinks about the fact that bitcoin is already rising in 2023.
There are still some folks thinking that we're not yet rising because their basis is the ATH price of 2021. But that's a fact that we're rising now.

But halving will be next year, so we should expect a real bull market in about a year. So it might not be a bad idea to sell bitcoin now, because a fall is very likely. But if we talk about altcoins, I wouldn't sell at the bottom.
I don't advise folks to sell Bitcoin now. You might regret that eventually but if you're in profit now and you'll buy back later before the halving, that's on you.
But I don't think it's a good idea to sell your Bitcoins now. While everyone thinks that they're going to hold until they die, there are the others that might sell even before the halving.
1351  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) on: November 06, 2023, 07:46:00 PM
Thanks to Dogecoin, there are a lot of meme coins that has been born and it won't be noticed because of Elon Musk. That's why all of the meme coins right now have been managed and taken from Dogecoin as the father of all of meme.
And the interest started from Elon Musk when he has shilled Dogecoin and Shiba Inu but then, people have thought that there's always the craze from them and it seems to be not stopping.
We will have the sight of it whenever the next bull run comes and if it's going to be great as what it's going to be.
1352  Economy / Economics / Re: Biting more than i can chew. How can i do better? on: November 05, 2023, 11:46:26 PM
Yes, he can start from budgeting and see himself if he's going to improve with a week trial. There are a lot of free budgeting apps that he can find on playstore but of course download only the ones that has good reviews and gazillions of downloads and has a good star rating.
Do this consistently for a month and definitely he'd see the difference of a former him and into a new him that knows how to budget and check his finances once in a while. This is actually a good start.
Being aware is already an advantage and is a good thing to start with. Planning would be easier if one knows his boundaries and limitations rather than to just engage with things his financial capacity won’t be able to cover. It’ll depend on this factor. Next is knowing where to engage yourself with in order to increase your daily or monthly income.Start with the things you can offer to a company or other people to earn money from them. You’d only lose once you chose to give up and stop; remember that. Think of how you started and how you made it to your ‘peak’ and for sure you’d recover as well. Acceptance of what happened will also help than to be burried with regrets. Move forward people.
He's already aware on how to earn well and he's from there and that's why it won't be a mystery and problem for him anymore on where and how to start. The problem lies on him is how to manage his finances but it humbled him down when he's shooked because of his bad habits.

Most of the time, you don't need a budgeting app, however, if the OP thinks that it will assist him into this goal,
then by all means, he should try using one of this apps. There are so many free anyway these days.
But to start, he needs to itemize his basic expenses maybe for a day, then for a month (bills).
When he sees the list, that's when he can tell where he can cut off some of his expenses.
Then, if he wants to buy something, think twice at least. And ask himself why he is buying such item, it is want or a must?
It's a good start when he's completely zero knowledge about how to budget. I have seen people that uses some apps to help themselves deal with daily expenses and budgeting. Good for you if you don't need that but for some cases and people they have to use one to be guided.
1353  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Government's actions against crypto on: November 05, 2023, 10:57:55 PM
One day, all of those restrictions and strictness will come to an end. How? When this market is entirely huge already and they cannot ignore to be strict with money flowing into their country. You see big exchanges fleeing on their market for being ass to them because of the policies that they can widen and loosen the strictness of it. We don't mind them, they'll eventually get back and be happy again to show the world that they are a crypto friendly country that despite the bans and being strict that they are implementing, they cannot just ignore the growth of the crypto market.

1354  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to keep your money in bank? on: November 05, 2023, 09:31:31 PM
Same here, the bank is just where I go to get my fiat. I don't store or save too much amount in my bank account nowadays, because I've heard instances where people's money just disappear without any explanation, sometimes huge amount for that matter.
We're all the same about the banks. They're our just biggest commercial storage for our fiat regardless of the amount that we'll keep there. Although you can use their service and get access through it by owning an account there which is nice. About the money that disappears, I've got some problems like that in the past but I was able to ask help to their desk and my money was refunded.

So what I just do is to keep few amount for my daily use if the need arises for me to get cash at hand.
Yeah, like a channel to get our money through cash outs and profits from the crypto market.  Cheesy
1355  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins important? on: November 05, 2023, 08:09:35 PM
Everyone's key isn't about supporting an altcoin but it's all about money, profit. And the end game with this type of strategy is to make your profits more valuable by reinvesting them into Bitcoin. That's what I have done for several times and I have never regret. For some reason, the things that I have regret was to ignore a lot of altcoins that I didn't believed because I think they're crap. However, this market just proved that even if a project is crap as long as there are investors and traders contribute to its liquidity, the value of it will still have a way to increase.
1356  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 04, 2023, 10:01:58 PM
I would DCA what you can afford to lose every week or month and don't watch crypto-based youtube. Bear in mind you won't be getting any dividends/interest and see where we are next halving. Remember there will only ever be 21 million BTC yet the human population is constantly rising so more people will come in.
Yes, when we DCA, there's no dividend that shall come to us. It's an understanding that people should see because they think that when we suggest to DCA, there's an outright dividend and no there's none. But good to you that you understand how it works and the strategy that you are about to do about doing it on a weekly basis or monthly and then the money that you shall use for that will be good as it is to be there for a long time. And it won't hurt you whatever is going to be the result of that but hey, this is Bitcoin, the most patient ones benefit from it.
1357  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Will it affect you in any way if Binance completely shuts down ? on: November 04, 2023, 10:13:19 AM
Was it like there was a time that when some news about them or technical issues happened to them and then the market drowned for a while? I can't remember that but I think there was this scenario before and the market really in turmoil on the spot. Anyway, I've got a few bucks sitting there and if they shut down, I would feel bad though, money is money.  Tongue
1358  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: next bitcoin? on: November 04, 2023, 07:50:27 AM
Since you said you're looking for coin that is profitable like BTC in the market, I will assure you that there is no coin that is stable like BTC but I can refer you to some coins you can invest in the market you will earn a good profits when the price of BTC increase higher because, whenever the price of BTC hit higher in the market, it gives other cryptocurrencies opportunity to increase too. I will advise you to try this two coins Solana and BNB, but try to do your own research to verify what am referring you to before investing in this bear run because all those two coins always move close to BTC price whenever there is a bull run in the market.
I agree, there's no better coin than Bitcoin and if it's about stability on its market, Bitcoin has been the most reliable of them all.

Long term hodling is more profitable than short term hodling which you need to take note of that when making your choice on coins that are potential like BTC in the market.
It differs to the need of an investor. If short term holding seems to be profitable for him then you better go get that and take your profits shortly. But there is no argument if it's about long term, I've proved that myself that it's the best period on this market if you want to enter.
1359  Economy / Economics / Re: Biting more than i can chew. How can i do better? on: November 03, 2023, 11:52:52 PM
Anyways, it is beautiful that you want to improve your financial management and plan for a more stable and responsible future. One suggestion would be to consider developing a budget that aligns with your current income and expenses. To create a clear picture of your financial situation and allocate your resources more effectively, start by tracking your expenses and identifying areas where you can cut or make adjustments. Also, you should set some financial goals for yourself, it could be saving a certain percentage of your income each month, which can provide a sense of purpose and direction.

1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FTX CEO Sam Bankman Fried found guilty on: November 03, 2023, 10:54:14 PM
That sentence that he's going to serve is good to secure that he's going to make it up to the quarter until the last bitcoin is mined. Sadly, he's not going to meet that because the sentence ain't enough, much better if the judge has added it and made exactly how long he needs that.
This is like justice to the ones that have been victims of his fraudulent activities and the result of swindling people's money. I just hope that he doesn't get special treatment inside.
